Adrian was and always would be the fairest snake on a Quidditch pitch. Hogwarts or the professional league—they would always be on opposite teams, but Oliver could trust that he'd get a fair game out of Adrian.

That was why he couldn't understand that Adrian kept interrupting him every time Oliver would attempt to ask him out after their matches. "I mean, Adrian—Pucey," he caught himself, in case he'd been mistaken about their friendliness, "do you dislike me?"

Adrian quirked one eyebrow. "No, Oliver," he replied, stressing the Keeper's first name. "I prefer to do the asking myself."
