They always say, "That Lily Luna—she's a scorching fire. She burns, too hot, too bright."

She wonders if it's her fiery hair. Or being part Weasley. Or being a Potter. No, being a Gryffindor. No, a witch with a mouth on her and a dragon's heart beating in her chest (why else does she yearn to fly free in Romania after school?).

Truly, it's the energy that thrums up her arm, through her very being whenever Roxanne takes her hand. Lily's only kindling catching on, inspired by the fire of Roxanne's love.

She wouldn't have it any other way.
