Dominique feels lucky to have stumbled across him. She wonders if Regulus feels the same when he catches her eye across the sky as they go for a night flight.
She commiserates with him. Not surviving in secret—she's never been in war. But being in a family is rough; that she knows well enough.
She knows what it's like to have the hopes piled on you.
She knows what it's like to be cast aside when she isn't enough. She feels like an unwanted extra.
Regulus doesn't see her as an extra, though.
Maybe they can be enough, together.

An extremely random ship? Not so. Do I have an unfinished, chaptered WIP for them? You bet. Will I finish writing and posting that WIP for Domgulus? …you bet? (*lol* No, but srsly, I do wanna finish Because Love Stories Aren't Really Loves Stories.)
