Mediziner's Notes: Sunrise Airlines isn't a real airlines. But it's Sunrise Inc. just slapping their logos on the fuselage and tails of airplanes to avoid using real life airlines. :) They did this in not only just Brave Police but the other shows within the franchise too. Most likely their other shows too that they've done, heck even the famous ones I have no doubt had them. I think I considered this one more filler than actual plot, but again this was more or less me still struggling with stuff in general I guess. ...But I also added in a little extra special something near the end.

...

Everyone got to work on investigating on the incident that occurred. While normally it wasn't their job to investigate into aviation accidents but with when Gunmax told the others what kind of damage was done to the aircraft, it was clear that the type of damage was caused by an explosion rather than a simple engine failure which further confirmed the traces of chemicals found on the damaged part that otherwise was destructive and corrosive to metal. The evidence was enough for them to split up into small teams and investigate into the matter. One team was assigned to examining the damaged aircraft, another team would investigate the hangar it was contained in overnight for clues and then the remaining team would go and speak to the pilots of the airplane in hopes of shedding any light in hopes of finding somewhere to start. Unfortunately after some time, their search lead them nowhere other than small minor details that weren't enough for them to follow a solid trail. Everyone began to make their way back to the station as Yuuta suggested an idea in which they would see if Deckerd may have noticed something he hadn't seen right away.

"First that one criminal we're looking into that ran away on us and now we have another one on our hands that attacked the new plane..." Pouted Drill Boy with a sigh. "I was hoping to get some free time to play soccer."

"If we're lucky, it could be the same one." Dumpson replied. "But we won't know for certain until we look into what Boss suggests looking into."

In truth, most of the team weren't sure what to think about when Yuuta proposed the idea about that they could look into what Deckerd may have seen but didn't exactly take quite full notice into it, but if it was something that they could piece a clue to possibly narrow the investigation and perhaps maybe if they're lucky, they'll find a new path to follow deeper into the investigation.

Once everyone came back to the station, they all filed in and began work. When the large screen descended from the ceiling, they began looking into specific memory files extracted and carefully replayed the moment Deckerd was watching the plane ascend into the skies. As much as Yuuta was mesmerised at it's majestic beauty, a job was a job. Some were starting to doubt that there wasn't anything wrong until when both Shadowmaru and Drill Boy both noticed something just a few seconds before the replay finished.

"Huh? What was that?" Drill Boy inputted some commands into his desk keyboard, rewinding back a bit then zooming in on a small speck that was shown off to the upper right. "There, what's that?" He asked.

"That's no doubt a jet." Shadowmaru inputted some commands into his desk keyboard, enhancing the image and making it more clearer to see.

Deckerd couldn't believe that he had missed such a small detail when he was watching the plane. Despite he and Yuuta were so caught up in watching the newest plane owned by Sunrise Airlines that he too was also mesmerised by it's beauty to really pay close attention. He then had second thoughts that perhaps that jet was equipped with something similar like that of one of Shadowmaru's many sensors, in which it couldn't be detected via radar, but can still be seen visually. 'Hmm... That may be a possible reason why my sensors didn't detect it at all...' He thought deeply. Knowing that they may still be very much at large, he then began assigning everyone to start patrol, some were being assigned to nearby smaller cities while some would stay in Nanamagari.

"Ah, hold on a second everyone." Yuuta suddenly spoke up.

"What's the matter, Yuuta?"

"We have to properly thank Radiant Prism for helping out!" Yuuta pointed out. "Remember, she helped us with how to properly help the damaged plane? We were to thank her properly when we got back."

As everyone saw Radiant Prism whom had previously been off to the side recharging was now at Yuuta's side, everyone then gave their proper thanks to her as it surprised the foreign Brave with the more formal gesture she was seeing. Sure she's been thanked multiple times but the way how everyone was thanking her caught her completely off guard, obviously not used to the more proper manner of thanks.

"Thank you, Radiant Prism." Everyone said all at once.

"I-It's not a problem..." Replied Radiant Prism slowly, wings shifting downwards just a bit. "I've been used to rescuing crippled planes back home in Germany during my patrols." She managed to say, suppressing her discomfort of how she wasn't used to more formal manners. They began to excuse themselves as everyone filed out of the room one by one. Shadowmaru, who had just changed into his dog mode was about to leave but stopped when Deckerd addressed him. "Shadowmaru, you still have to finish teaching Radiant Prism for the day, remember? If anything comes up that requires your abilities, we'll notify you."

"Acknowledged." Nodded Shadowmaru as he changed back into his robot mode, watching as Deckerd and Yuuta both left to join up with the others. Once both of them were gone, he was about to go and pick up Radiant Prism from the balcony, but only for the foreign Brave to fly over to his desk herself. While he was aware that whenever someone had to be relocated into the human sized bodies to undergo specific repairs upon finding faults or worm parts, he had no idea if Drill Boy and himself would be able to fly in those small bodies... Neither having been put into them yet as they had been both in the clear with small, quick repairs whenever they also went through their routine checkups.

Now that he witnessed Radiant Prism flying in that small body, now he knew.

...

As time passed, Shadowmaru had been impressed with how quick Radiant Prism was learning as he was teaching her. However, he immediately noticed how distracted she had grown overtime which at first he chose to ignore but with the constant display of distraction becoming more apparent was enough to bring him to full attention.

"You're clearly distracted." He pointed out.

"Forgive me... I'm just not used to having to remain indoors for so long." Radiant Prism vented a sigh. "However, as much as I'd love to patrol and fly about again, I have to remain here and learn how things work around here since I'm not in Germany anymore..."

'Hmm...' Recalling how many days it's been, he realised that he's never seen let alone detect her at the rooftop to spend time outside, even in the human sized body she's currently in as he counted three days to be exact that she's spent indoors. He shook his helm, knowing that it couldn't be too good for her if she didn't at least get some outside time every now and then until she was returned into her original body, Shadowmaru stood from his desk and held out his servo to her.

"Shadowmaru...?" Radiant Prism briefly glanced at the Brave's servo then upwards to his optics.

"Come with me."

Surprised at this request, she couldn't help but ask. "What about work?"

"It's not a bad thing to take a break."

"We've only been at this for a short time, added that you've been out helping the others with the new plane not too long ago..."

"You don't have much work remaining for the day, it won't hurt you to spend some time outside."

Radiant Prism still hesitated. "Someone may return at any moment."

"If you're concerned that someone would be angry with you for being outside of the station even for some fresh air, that's where you're wrong. I may not know what you've gone through with your former superiors but things are far different here than back where you were constructed." Shadowmaru explained, seeing as it had been enough for Radiant Prism to slowly, yet reluctantly climb up onto his servo without a word as she carefully held on as they left the office room. Once they used the elevator to go up, they were now up on the rooftop as Radiant Prism felt relaxed to be outside, though the feeling of uneasiness of being outside of the office remained. Shadowmaru was patient, knowing that he would need to wait until he could sense her relaxing as he had thought of something that she might enjoy.

When she did relax, the Ninja spoke. "How fast can you fly, Miss Prism?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Just merely curious."

There was a moment of pause, and while Radiant Prism did not possess any form of special sensors like the Ninja Detective did, she was still very wary of them as the fact he possessed such a powerful gift made her feel uncomfortable, especially that he could also read her like an open book. "...I'm not quite sure how fast I can exactly go at maximum speed, but I can go fast enough to make it to the nearest plane that needs help as I'm more specialised to saving planes than I am with other disasters. About the common mach speed of a fighter jet to be more specific."

Shadowmaru wasn't surprised in the least bit that she was not aware of just how powerful the battery charge in the human sized bodies were compared to the toy sized figures as he detected that she had plentiful of power in her charge. "Why not fly at your maximum speed?"

"What?"

"You're able to fly around in that small body. While you cannot go exactly as fast as you could in your original body, you can still fly around relatively fast."

"What you're saying is impossible." Radiant Prism shook her helm as she crossed her arms over her chest. "As much as I would love nothing more than to fly at my maximum speed, I cannot do such a thing in this body."

"Actually, you can. These human-sized bodies are a far better upgrade compared to the small backup system that you were previously in." Explained Shadowmaru. "The lifespan on the batteries are far more powerful and last longer than you'd think, the Chief Engineer made sure of that when he began constructing these bodies after the incident with Drill Boy and Dumpson over a year ago. We were lucky that Mini Boss's cat found them in time before they completely ran out of power."

"What do you mean by incident?" Radiant Prism asked as Shadowmaru told her the story of what happened. It was uncomfortable to learn that it was possible to die once the power in the batteries the smaller bodies held were completely drained as it gave her shudders. While she hadn't heard anything mentioned about what happened if her battery reached zero in the human-sized body, she would need to keep this in mind if she ever had to relocate back into this body again in the future due to reasons be it due to either taking damage from dealing with criminals or even standard routine maintenance checkups that required her to be relocated into the smaller body to fix any worn parts. At the same time however, she found it hard to believe such a death existed outside of the risk of her Super A.I. perishing. There was a question she had that needed answers, but she decided against it but did wished deep down more than ever to be returned back into her original body, yet she heard no word yet about if the Chief mechanic has secured any jet fuel. Standing up, Radiant Prism flexed her wings a bit.

"Alright... If your words ring true, then I'll take the time to fly around for a bit."

Without a word, the Ninja watched as Radiant Prism leapt off his servo and changed form, gunning her thrusters as she flew upwards into the air. Fortunately she didn't go too far or too high from the station, but at least enough for her to have enough space to fly about and perform a few basic stunts or two. Shadowmaru watched quietly as Radiant Prism performed ailerons, barrel rolls, simple various loops, twists, and a few others.

-Simple, but impressive.- Shadowmaru commented.

-I could perform a few other stunts, but I don't feel comfortable performing them in this body.- Radiant Prism replied. -However... There's always that feeling of freedom when I'm in the air, at least for me. I usually preferred to keep off the ground regardless if I'm on duty or off duty.-

-I see.-

-...Do you and Drill Boy get a similar feeling when you both fly?-

Not expecting such a question, Shadowmaru wasn't sure what to think of it. Sure he'd sometimes spend time in the air whenever he was heading to his destination if he deemed it unwise to travel by car or on foot but he never had put any thought into the feeling of flight whenever he was soaring through the air. -I'm... Not sure, maybe?- He answered vaguely. -As for Drill Boy, that's a question you would have to ask him yourself... If you can ask him when he's calm.-

Having given himself a moment to think on her question, it wasn't until a little later that the Ninja Detective noticed that she wasn't moving around in the air as much anymore, but rather she was hovering in place seemingly staring off into the distance, as if unaware of her surroundings.

-Everything alright up there, Miss Prism?- He asked. Having been met with no answer, he called out to her again but still she didn't answer. Concerned, Shadowmaru took to the skies and flew up to where the German Brave was. Normally anyone would react upon being approached, but he was met with no reaction. Upon slowly waving a servo in front of her, it was where he paused when she turned to face him in an instant.

"Shadowmaru...?"

The Brave wasted no time in scanning her thoughts, immediately identifying that she spaced out, recalling something in her memories that happened. "Everything alright?" He watched as the German Brave put a servo to her helm.

"I'm fine... Just..." She then went silent, clearly not wishing to talk about it as she looked. Out of respect, Shadowmaru let it be as he knew it wasn't wise to press her into what happened. Knowing that it must be enough time they've spent outside, he told her to come back down to the rooftop as he began to descend to a land, then proceeding to hold out his servo out for her to land on once she neared. When Radiant Prism descended and landed comfortably in his servo, he began heading inside the lift, and then back to the office with the small Brave in tow.

By the time they got back to the offices, it was where they immediately saw someone at the balcony.

"Ah, there you two are." Chief Engineer Toudou spoke. "Radiant Prism, the good news is that you can be returned back into your original body again. We've started to get a supply of jet fuel coming in alongside the standard petrol fuel the boys run on. Since you're the only one who runs on jet fuel, it's fortunate that it will not go to waste."

"Strange... Who would think that all, or some of us would run on jet fuel?" Shadowmaru replied curiously.

Toudou shrugged. "I'm not sure, perhaps there were some people who thought both you and Drill Boy being the only ones on the team who could fly run on that kind of fuel." He watched as Radiant Prism nodded and flew over to the balcony as he backed up to give her space to land. He wasn't surprised that she still kept her distance from him, though her uneasiness around humans did remind him of a certain someone...

"It won't take too much time, since I'm aware you and the others are taking turns each day teaching Radiant Prism." He said, then excused himself as he left the office with Radiant Prism.

...

Since being relocated into her original body, both Shadowmaru and Radiant Prism resumed where they left off upon the latter's return and it wasn't until just a few hours later that Radiant Prism had finally finished all of the given lessons Shadowmaru worked with her. "Very good, Miss Prism." He said. "We're all done with what I've been assigned to teach you. However the next set of lessons will be assigned to whomever Master Deckerd or Sir Knight has assigned to teach you the next day. In the meantime, perhaps you could..." He then frowned after a moment of thought. "Hm, I'm not quite sure what you could do in your spare time..."

"I think I have an idea." Radiant Prism, heading for the door. "I'll be right back."

Focusing back to the finished paperwork, Shadowmaru had just only gone through some of it until when he noticed the door sliding to an open, announcing she was back. He saw that she had the cleaning equipment in servo. "I figured that I'd do something nice in return for your team in allowing me a second chance in being a police officer again." She explained.

"I'm sure the others would appreciate returning back from patrol to a clean, sparkling office." He replied, nodding in understanding. He then resumed his task while Radiant Prism began to clean the office.

It wasn't until later when the evening rolled in did everyone return to the offices as they finished patrolling for the day, and the sight they were greeted with, completely astonished as to how clean and spotless the entire office was. Shadowmaru meanwhile had long finished sorting through the completed paperwork and had been working on investigating into collected cases that required his skills and expertise but did pause when he heard everyone coming inside.

"I've never seen our office look this clean." Deckerd managed to say.

"Even my desk is clean too, Deckerd." Yuuta said.

"Did you clean the whole office, Radiant Prism?" Duke asked.

"Yes sir, I've wanted to do something nice in return for letting me stay, and giving me another chance to be a police officer again." Replied Radiant Prism as she gathered the cleaning equipment. "I wasn't sure how I was going to thank all of you, so I decided that I'd clean up the office as best as I could. I've kept everything else intact, though tidied everything without moving them around too much so everything looked more clean and neat."

Yuuta then expressed his thanks to Radiant Prism when she looked in his direction, politely bowing as the others followed suit, also expressing their thanks. The German Brave made a mental note that this was something that she would need to get used to overtime.

"Of course." She managed to reply with a small, if not uncertain smile.

When everyone began moving to their respective desks and sat down, Deckerd began addressing Radiant Prism when she returned after putting the cleaning equipment away. "Radiant Prism, there's something that we'd like to show you." He said, speaking in a more professional manner.

"Show me?"

"Earlier, we all encountered the jet that we were looking into, but unfortunately upon confronting them they turned out to be foreigners as they didn't speak Japanese." Deckerd then typed a few inputs into his keyboard as a small video clip displayed itself on the large screen. It showed when the team in their combined forms were trying to fight against the large jet until when a voice could be heard, clearly not Japanese but rather...

"That's without a doubt German, my native language." Radiant Prism said with a frown, then looked away with hesitation. "However it's not just that, but..."

"What's wrong?" Deckerd asked.

"Are they criminals you know, Radiant Prism?" Drill Boy asked curiously after a few seconds when Radiant Prism didn't answer right away.

"What you're displaying now shows you personally know these criminals." Gunmax chimed in.

"Yes... The voice heard in this recording belongs to one of the trio of criminals that took me down back then." Radiant Prism said, not drawing her attention away from the recording. "However, it seemed that they've upgraded their machine last I confronted the trio, it's appearance is far different than back in Germany... I should've known that the army couldn't have been able to stop them, though I did believed the other German Teams would've flown all the way to the city of Essen to put a stop to them, but they may have either fled and escaped, or some other reason I'm not quite sure of..."

Shadowmaru mentally cursed to himself, feeling that he should have been there to better examine the jet in full, to see what info there was about it. But on the bright side, he may have that chance since someone else will be working with Radiant Prism tomorrow.

"This is quite serious." Duke frowned. "If they've managed to defeat you back then, we're dealing with a potentially dangerous criminal. You said upon explaining your story that the German army has dealt with them, but do you remember anything else on that subject in particular? One major question I'm curious about is if you also have a combined form we're not made aware of yet."

"No, Gustav never bothered to inform me if the army had been successful in defeating the criminal... But to translate a vital part of their sentence from the recording, they're after me." She said, having noted that when the recording neared the end, it was clear that everyone sustained quite a bit of damage before as the last thing she glimpsed was everyone having been damaged. "...As for the question regarding if I have a combined mode, no I don't. I've dealt with crime as I am without anyone or anything to assist me, despite I've wanted teammates back then to aid me in dealing with more tougher crime."

With a heavy sigh, Radiant Prism shook her helm. "I'll have to confront those three. Even if I've failed once before, I won't go down a second time..."

"What are you saying, Radiant Prism!?" Yuuta stood from his desk, surprised with her response as his distressed expression was enough to bring everyone to concern. "You're not alone anymore, remember? Even if you've been all lonely by yourself back where you came from, you should try and open up more with us, since you're part of our team now."

"Additionally you won't be able to fight the criminal on your own." McCrane warned. "If they've managed to defeat not only Super Build Tiger, Gunmax Armour, and even Fire J-Decker, there's no doubt that they could make short work of you."

Radiant Prism silently cursed to herself, her wings having flared just slightly but then relaxed. She was about to say something until when a familiar voice spoke.

"Doing everything by yourself isn't always the way, Radiant Prism."

"Mr. Saejima!" Yuuta turned around as he faced the man, both surprised and confused.

"We're well aware that you prefer to work independently, but it does not mean you're forced to deal with everything on your own." The man pointed out, his seemingly strange impression she'd witness wasn't there, but rather he was showing his more serious side. "Don't feel afraid about calling for help when the situation calls for it. Most importantly, I only ask of you to keep in mind that when the time comes for when you're fit to start patrols like everyone else, you need to make sure you notify the others when dealing with more tougher criminals. For example, some of the calls the boys receive can sometimes be described as petty, simple crime that's easy to take care of, but sometimes that petty crime report can even turn into something bigger than what you'd expect."

"It's very common I'm afraid, not just here but throughout the whole world." Deckerd pointed out. "You can never be too careful when responding to a report."

"I've been aware of that." Radiant Prism shook her helm. "But yes, I'll keep that in mind. I believe I've said this before, but it will take me time to get used to working alongside a team."

Saejima nodded. "You'll get used to it overtime as you work with the team in your lessons." His serious atmosphere seems to suddenly without warning disappear as it changed into a more silly, if not goofy laugh. Yuuta immediately was on edge as he knew whenever the Commissioner got like this, there was bound to be trouble in the form of all sorts of unpredictable, silly manner.

"Mr. Saejima... If you ask me to-"

"Mm mm mm... Did you think I was thinking about such silly things, Yuuta?" Saejima's devious expression then revealed itself.

"Jeez..." The young boy couldn't help but back up uncomfortably, thinking that Saejima was trying to get him to drop his guard so that he'd be lured into being put into some strange outfit.

Saejima shook his head with a chuckle. "It's nothing of that sort, but rather I was about to say that while the mechanics were working on getting Radiant Prism's blueprint schematics redrawn which is required for in case she may take any damage, we managed to find something of interest deep within her Super A.I."

Everyone looked to the Commissioner with curiosity, wanting to know what that something was.

"As it turns out..." He began slowly.

"What is it, Mr. Saejima?" Yuuta asked curiously, wanting to know.

"We've discovered that Radiant Prism..."

"Yes...?" Deckerd replied.

"She has what appeared to be..."

"Mr. Saejima!" Yuuta exclaimed, getting annoyed with Saejima's teasing.

"Radiant Prism has some unfinished coding which would give her the ability to unite with a support vehicle. However because it's been left unfinished for who knows how long inside her data banks, there is a downside to this..."

"What do you mean by a downside, Commissioner?" McCrane asked.

Saejima then became serious as he crossed his arms. "We're not sure how long Radiant Prism has had this unfinished coding within her data banks but we assumed that it might have been a work in progress that never saw the light of day. perhaps in her construction it could be that Gustav decided much like how he had originally intended to build a team for Radiant Prism to lead but never happened, this could be the very same result as to what may have been planned for Radiant Prism to have a support vehicle of her own as well, but for reasons unknown he may have ordered the mechanics to cease any and all work on programming for the unification with whatever her support vehicle may have been before the idea had been scrapped." He explained. "Again, a lot of the code was unfinished and rather vague."

"I... I haven't been made aware of this coding..." Admitted Radiant Prism, then shook her helm. "But, I don't think I'll need it."

Everyone stared at Radiant Prism, unable to believe what they heard her say.

"Look, I don't need something to help me get stronger because I like to believe my own strength is enough as it is even if it's hard for any of you to believe." She continued. "I've dealt with all sorts of petty to difficult criminals without the need of a stronger form after I had been first brought online, I can't really see myself asking for more than that as long as I keep putting all of my effort in stopping crime wherever I see it." Radiant Prism then excused herself, stating that she was going to retire a little early.

The room was silent for a while, then Saejima then spoke up. "...I should add that, we have something in progress, but you won't see it here in the station, but it will be revealed once it's construction is complete."

"Mr. Toudou and his mechanics are making something?" Yuuta then thought for a moment, trying to figure out what might they be building. "Hmm... Is it something to make the others stronger?"

"Mm... Maybe, but it's a secret until it's construction is finished which should be about roughly tomorrow or two days from now depending if everything goes smoothly according to plan." The man glanced at the large clock up on the other side of the office, noting how late it was. "For now, why don't all of you retire early for the night? We should do the same as what Radiant Prism is doing." Shortly afterwards, Saejima excused himself from the office as he left.

"Oh no! I need to be back home before my sisters worry." Yuuta's attention turned to the clock as he began to gather his things while Deckerd stood up, telling him that he'll wait for him in the repair bay as he left. Everyone else started filing out to go recharge for the night, all except for Shadowmaru who waited until it was only just him in the office that remained. He waited just a few minutes more to make sure someone might have forgotten something and need to go back to get whatever it may be. When no one else returned to the office, he began to work on something personal of his, something that he couldn't risk anyone knowing about.

A few minutes in, the Brave paused when he noticed something that appeared out of place.

"...What is this?"

Narrowing his optics, he noticed something he hadn't seen before the last he was investigating. After having sifted through all sorts of information, there was something in particular that was well guarded compared to everything else. It didn't take the Ninja Detective very long to investigate what was being heavily protected by the large amounts of security and upon noticing what exactly was being well guarded, he immediately began easily pinpointing the location of the facility as a heavy point of interest to look into.

"...This place is far out from Nanamagari City, I'll need to bring plenty of fuel canisters with me." He mumbled to himself silently, frowning that he won't be able to help assist the others with the jet issue while he's gone, but what he had been doing had a higher priority, as strange as it would have sounded to the others yet he also felt that if he had involved everyone else into what he was doing, it would only further complicate his work.

Logging out and locking his desk computer, Shadowmaru left the offices as he was aware that everyone else had already long since shut down into recharge, he silently made his way through the repair bay to gather himself a few fuel canisters to take with him, being mindful not to make a single noise that would otherwise wake everyone up.

Once he gathered what he needed, he quickly scribbled a small message onto a personal set of sticky notes he had, then peeled it off the stack once he finished and stuck it onto one of Drill Boy's wings carefully as to not suddenly wake him up.

Satisfied with everything placed in motion, Shadowmaru left the station quietly, enabling one of his systems to keep him from being tracked by any of his teammates, not wanting anyone to know where he was while he's absent.
