Zack, 26, was your everyday nice guy. but after betrayal and saddness, he took it upon himself to end his suffering. a god from another world saw the goodness in his heart to give him a 2nd chance. will he be able to live a better life? or end it all the same? 2. A new day and new life

Evo: Here is chapter 2. I don't how well chapter one went for those who read it, but hopefully not too bad. After I finish this, i'l be working on chapter 3 but might take longer to do. Chapter 2: a new day and new life

Zack?'s: PoV

"Ughh.." I lay there on the ground, unable to move any of my arms nor legs. Almost like I'm paralysed. Oddly enough I can't see either. Everything is a blurry at the moment. I try to look around but to no avail I could make out anything clearly. A few seconds later my vision started to adjust to my surroundings. "I seem to be in some sort of forest" taking a deep breath and trying to lift my head up to see that I'm not in the same Forest I died in. Trees were different and some had berries or fruit I've never seen before.

"Man, my head is killing me...again. what did that God say his name was? Arceus? I feel like I heard that name somewhere before."

Rubbing the back of my head in pain. Now that feeling has started to come back to his body. "Ok, now that I can move. Let see where I am." Trying to stand up, only to fall right back down. But something fell out of his pocket he felt. I looked over to see a box of some sort. Small enough that could be in a pocket but big enough to hold something. "The hell is this? Some box? Meh well whatever it is, couldn't hurt to open it. But how did it end up in my pocket?" I reached over to grab said box and tried to open it. It was jammed up a bit but I managed to open it only to find, by my surprise, a cell phone. But not just any old cell, it was his from his past life. "What the..!? But how and why is this here? No way, all my music is here and YouTube. (Cool I won't be bored anytime soon) huh that's funny, all my contacts are gone along with Facebook and psm. None of the other apps work either. Only my music, YouTube and searching up stuff work. I can live with that."

After checking out the phone, I put it back in my pocket. I looked back at the box and found wireless headphones and a odd card. Probably important or something. Putting both in his pocket. I then start to check the other pockets as well. I've noticed that they aren't my clothes, or what I usually wear. The shorts are black with light neon blue stitching all around. The shirt was a slight dark blue, sleeveless tank. Lose the way I like it and a belt that's on a angle with a knife holster. "Huh, a knife holster? But I don't have a knife on me." Looking around just to be safe if there was one. Oddly enough, there it was. Stabbed in the side of a tree. I pulled the blade out to inspect it. "Daaam, this is beautiful. Very clean and sharp. Hope the tip isn't broken from whoever stabbed it in the tree." The blade is a good 16" from handle to tip. The blade itself was 12". Looks to be a cross between a Cooper and a Tanto. The Damascus pattern on it is raindrops, my personal favorite pattern for its uniqueness.

Putting the blade in the holster, I went back to checking the pockets. None of the others seem to have anything in them. "Well, that's that. Now to figure out my next move is. Obviously i need a way out of this Forest before nightfall. I can only imagine what nocturnal animals or beast prowl at night." I stood still to let my sense of hearing help me pick up nearby noise. As I stand here, I did pick up what sounds like...WATER!! Ho oh, this is great. I was getting thirsty. So I started to walk in the direction of the sound.

???'s: PoV

"COME ON, SIS!! WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG!?" a loud female voice called out to me. I was trying to tend to my garden before me and my sister went out to find food for the day and stock up our food pile. "Ok ok, I'm coming. I was finishing up watering the flowers." I say back to my sister who's swinging her tail fast in an annoyance of waiting for her little sister. "Ok, I'm all set, big sis. Sorry it took long." I say, apologising to her. My name is Lily, a female Eevee, I'm about 17 years old in human years. My nature is Gentle but I'm also shy. My Sister on the other paw, is the opposite of me. She's also a female Eevee, but a month older than me. My mom worried a lot at the thought of something that happened to me since I didn't hatch the same day as big sis. Her name is Lazuli, her nature is Sassy, she does act like she has the serious nature at times. But under all that seriousness, she's just a big softy. "giggles" She's very caring and very nice to me. I couldn't ask for a better sister.

As we walk through the forest where we usually find food and water. We noticed a few things different. For one we haven't found our favorite berries yet.

"Hey sis?" I turn my head to Lazuli.

"What is it,big sis?"

"Have you noticed that we haven't found our berries yet? We should of found some by now"

"yea, your right. I did notice that." I look around a bit more to see some Citrus and Lum berries, but no Pecha berries. That was me and sis's favorite berry. We both have a 2nd favorite. Her 2nd favorite was a Hondew berry, she once told me it was one of those flavors you hate but love it. I thought it was funny. When I tried it, I had my head in the lake for 5mins to get rid of the lingering taste, bleh. My 2nd favorite would be the Grepa Berry. It was very rare to find in this Forest. We knew what tree it grew on but we can't reach it, unlike mom who can. Another reason is that tree was taken over by some mean Persians, these aren't like normal one, those persians have black and greyish fur with a blue gem on their heads. At least stay don't bother other Pokemon unless you get near them.

As we walk towards the river to drink some water to cool off. I couldn't help but look at the flowers and the blossom bushes. I always wanted one for my garden. But I couldn't get the bush out of the ground. Sis although, She liked watching the many fish that swam around, her tail would swing left to right and fluff up. I always giggled when that happens. When she would notice me giggling at her, she'll stop, blush and try to make up something. Like now. *giggles* "Sis, your tail is poofy again"

She blushes. "Th-th-thats because it got wet!! An-an-and I was drying it off. Yea that's it." She looks the other way, ears down with a big blush.

Suddenly, I hear something in the bushes across from us. Sounds big, might be a Lycanroc or Luxio. Now both don't sound too bad. Day form Lycanroc are very nice and playful, but it's the midnight form we have to watch for. They are mean, and from what mom told us, is to always hide from them or else our "innocence" would be taken from us by force. Still don't know what she meant that day but as for Luxio, the Females are very Friendly, the Males though are ok, egotistic dummies Sis liked to call them, like to show off in front of Females and mean during last spring, early summer.

"Sis, we got to hide now. Something is coming." I say to her as I got worried.

"Ugh at a time like this? I wanted to watch the fish more." she replied annoyed by having to go.

We both dive into the bushes behind us and peak out to where we aren't seen, to see what was coming. And as so as a few seconds,it came out of the bushes and shouted out "YES, WATER!! god I'm thirsty."

(It's a human!? Out here? But no human ever comes around here often. Sure about 4 humans would be seen a year but..) she thought to herself as she eyes the human carefully. Lazuli started to get angry. She hated humans for what they did to us.

"Dam Human, 1st Mom, then stoping me from watching my fish!" She stomped her paw down. "That's it, I'm gonna fight him!"

"What!? Are you crazy? We can't fight him. Even if he's human, he didn't do anything to us." I try to reason with her, but her stubbornness got in the way.

"I don't care!" She then jumped out of hiding and yelled "HEY, HUMAN, FIGHT ME!!"

Zack?'s: PoV

"Ahhhhh finally some water in me. That was refreshing." I look around to see the beautiful landscape and the lovely river that seems to connect to a lake. I noticed there's fish in the water but not the kind I normally see. The 1st fish was red and yellow, with huge mouth and weird big eyes that looks like it was dropped on its head. "Oo...k? Not the weirdest thing I've ever seen." After a while I hear a grow and then "EEEEEV, VEE VEE, EEVEE!!!" I look over to see a brown, fluffy and angry fox. Wait, now I definitely know I've seen this fox before. Before I can do anything the little fox jumped onto rocks that seem to line up across the river.

"Wo wo wo, be careful, you'll slip in the river." I say calmly to it but to no anvil, it continues to charge at me, barring fangs.

"EEVEE EEBOY" the little fox saying in its native language before tackling me to the ground. The little fox stood tall and proud for taking down a large target. I can see its eyes, hurt and angry. I know that look all too well. Just before it seems to want to bite my neck for the final blow, another fox came out running.

"Vee! Ve vee evv!" The other fox said as it started to hop on to the rocks. But half way through it slipped into the river. "VE-bhdgfy-eevee!" The little fox cries out to its sibling. The sibling fox turned it's head around as soon as it heard the other. It's face grew pale, ears dropped down and all that anger in its eyes were replaced with fear.

It jumped off of me and took off down the river to try and save the other. I got up on my feet and took off to help save it. I caught up to the little fox faster than I thought. I look over to the fox try to stay afloat but it's not doing to well with the current. (I got to do something or else it will drown.) I thought to myself. Just then the worst came, it went under and didn't come back up. "SHIT" I immediately jumped into the water. I swam as fast as I could to reach the body of the fox. Faster and faster, I was in reach now, I held my arms out and grabbed it, resurfacing up to catch my breath and to hold it above water, the current dragged us quite far. I managed to pull us out of the river and onto dry land.

After pulling out I immediately looked at the fox. "So, it really is a Eevee. That means I'm in the world of Pokemon. Now it all makes sense." I checked for a pulse and to see it's breathing. It wasn't breathing but got a pulse. "Crap, This isn't good. Gonna have to try CPR. Hope this works." I start to pump it's chest a little in rhythm. Making sure not to go too fast or slow. About 3mins after pumping, water came out and it started coughing like crazy. "Hey hey, easy does it. Your gonna be alright,ok" I say to it while petting the damp fur. It then looked at me. Wonder why did I save it's life and what was I going to do next.

"Vee…" It said as it's ears fell. Probably scared because I'm a human.

"It's alright, Eevee. I'm not gonna hurt or do anything bad to you. I saw you fall in the water so i jumped in to save you." I say say in a low voice and holding out my hand. "See?"

"...vee?" Still worried at me, it tilted it's head to the right. all it was doing was staring until. after a second or too, growling came from the little fox. I looked at it and it's face was bright red. Like it was embarrassed.

"Was that you?" It's ears fall once again and it tried to cover its face while nodding. This made me giggle. "awe, how cute. Let's find something to eat, shall me?"

Lily's :PoV

I got up from my embarrassing moment of my stomach growing. Still blushing badly. I am curious why this human risked his life to help me? Even my sister attacked him, does he even know we're siblings? I hope big sis is ok. Last thing I remember was her face covered in tears and fear. I've should of been more careful on those rocks. But now that I look around. I believe we're far down stream. The smell in the air is a bit different almost like- "Hey Eevee, I found some berries up in this tree here." I perk my ears up to him and walked over to see the berries. They where-"GREPA BERRIES!?!" I cried out in both joy and fear. All he heard was "EEVEE!?!"

"What? Are these your favorite or something? If that's the case, I'll just jump up and grab a few." He took out something shiny, I've never seen anything like that. But now's not time, we have to leave, now.

"Mister human, please we need to go. It's not safe." I grab his leg trying to warn him but all he could hear was "Eevee" and then said.

"What's wrong? Is there something you….want" he looked in the direction of the noise coming from behind us. I looked and was frozen in fear, Dark Persians, about 4 adults and about 9 children, dark Meowths.

"Oh now I get it, we're in there territory huh" I nod to him. I'm not a fighter. I hate battles, I'd rather be gardening right now. They start to come closer in, the leader then comes up in front.

D.Persian: "What do you think your doing here in my territory, little Eevee? Stealing my berries,huh"

"What!? Nonono we wer-" I tried to reply but was interrupted.

"SHUT UP, RUNT. I see you and that dam Human taking my berries, in my tree, in my TERRITORY. For that you'll both pay with your lives!!" He got in a battle stance and went straight for the kill shot on me.

This is it...im gonna die. I didn't even finish my garden, I never found a mate, and worst of all I didn't find my mom. Mom, wherever you are, I'm so sorry I couldn't find you. I closed my eyes, waiting to be killed.

"Ahh DIE, CRUNCH" The big cat said as he leaped at me.

(here it comes, good bye sis, I'm so sor-)

Suddenly, something big hit the ground hard. "Ughhhhh WHY YOU DA-" The Persian was about to finish his sentence until I saw what human did. He pinned the cat down and had that shiny thing in his back shoulder blade.

"How dare you try to kill the Eevee! I understand that we accidentally wonder into your area, but that's not excuse to kill on sight." He got up off from him with the sharp object, he smashed his fist to the already hurt shoulder plant and dislocated it to where it's completely paralyzed. Whatever the thing is that was in the lion, must of cut off the nerves connect it. "You won't be attacking or hurting others anymore. I'm sorry it came to this, I wish things would have gone better. We will both be going now." He picked up the branch full of berries and took 3 off of it. And sat the rest done in front of the leader. "Eevee, could you lead the way?" I nod to his request. Everything happened so fast. I thought I was gonna die, again. But he saved me, twice no less. He really is a good human. I look over to the other big and small cats, bowing to show they don't want to fight. After what just happened, I doubt any of them wanna try anything. To think, a human his size was strong enough to take down a full grown black panther and incapacitated it.

Zack?: Pov

As we walk back towards the little Eevee's sibling or mate, I'm not sure. Things got quiet, I think we are both still in shock back there. I still can't believe I did that. I mean I feel horrible I basically crippled that Persian, but he didn't deserve it. We went in his area but we didn't know. Guess I'll have to be more careful on what I do. Strange though, have I always been that strong? Maybe that's not the only difference about me. I look over to my right to see the Eevee wagging its tail back and forth. I decided to break the silence. "Hey Eevee?" Its stops to turn it's head towards me and tilts it's head

"Vee?" Looks at me curiously

"This might be a odd question but, what gender are you by chance? And is the other Eevee your...mate?" As soon as I asked those questions it's face lite up like a Christmas tree.

"Vee...eev vee" she turned around to show me it's sex, I obviously looked away at 1st, being embarrassing an all. But it was equally if not more embarrassed. I had a small look to see what looks like folds.

"O-oh your a female. Ok I'm sorry about that. So does that mean the other Eevee is your mate?" Scratching the back of my head slightly looking away just to see her shake her head no. "Ok then a sibling, is it a male?" Once again shakes no. "Alright so sisters. Thats cool. So do you know why she attacked me? Was I in your territory?" I ask the brown furry fox. She shakes her head no to the territory part.

"Vee ev ev Eevee" Sadly I wish I could understand her. After walking back up, I've noticed something brown on a rock, crying. Must be the sister. The eevee next to me calling out to her sister, ran straight towards her. The sister perks her ears up and ran to her. Until the Eevee that was crying slipped and headbutted the other on the noggin.

Both: "EEEEEEEVVVBOY!!!"

"Ooo that looked like it hurt. Are you two ok?" I say as I sit down in front of them. The sister got into a defensive stance. Probably still hates me or on guard. The Eevee I rescued put her paw on her sisters shoulder and seems to be explaining what happened. The little fox walked up with flat ears and an annoyed face. "Vee…" she said. Probably thanking me for saving her sister twice. But now for the more important thing.

I suddenly hear more growling by louder, all three of us starred at each other. Both females blushing hard. They haven't eaten anything all day. I had to giggle again for this embarrassing growl. "I guess all of us are hungry huh. Here I have these berries." The moody Eevee perked her ears up and licks her lips for the tasty berry. On the other side, the gentle Eevee's Eyes grew so big and sparkled like the sky. Baby-doll eyes. Definitely her favorite berry must me this I hold it above her head and she tried to reach it. standing on her hind legs, still trying. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute she was. But that stopped after the sister pawed my side, telling me to stop teasing her. I finally handed her the berry in a few seconds, poof, gone.

"Well guess I'll be on my way. I gotta try and find shelter before it's too late." The kind Eevee dropped her ears. Sadden by what I said. I think She wishes I could of stayed longer, But understood that finding a place to call home and project you from rain and snow. Her sister notice how sad she got when I told her I had to leave to find a den of some sort. Believing she had to do something to repay me for saving her sister from drowning and to fight off a Pokémon trying to take her life. She got up and walked up to me.

"Hmm? Is something wrong? Your not gonna hit or bite me again are you?" I look at the little fox. She wrapped her paws around my hand and started to pull on it.

"Vee vee eevee" I'm assuming the little female wants me to follow. I get up and started to follow the 2 girls into the forest. As we walked a bit in the dense forest only to end up in a beautiful meadow. Rows and rows of lovely flowers. There's even areas where it's all berry bushes and across from that are berry trees. All the berries don't look ripe just yet. Bet harvest time is almost here. They all look delicious.

"Hey, this is a beautiful garden. Did you girls do all this?" I look to them to see the gentle one blushes and her sister pointing at her. Amazing how smart and dedicated she is to this. As I continued to stare off, admiring the scenery, the eevees started to paw me for some reason. I look down to them and they pointed to a cave. (Hmm seems they must want me to go in there. must be the den they live in.) I thought to myself as I started to crawl into what looks like a very open room. The ceiling is tall enough for me to stand up completely. But something seems off. I know I should be 5" 10" but it seem this ceiling is 5" 9". I should be hitting it. I then began to look over my body. The eevees tilted their heads wondering what I'm doing. I look over to see a mini water source. Turning on my phone's flashlight I can see my reflection.

(Wow...it's true. This isn't what I look like. I got a new body. Same hair color but now I'm 4"9" blue eyes and younger. I'd say I'm about 16-17 years old. This is crazy yet exciting.) After taking a look over my new body, I look over to see what the girls are doing and to my surprise, they're making me a bed. That's sweet of them. I can't remember the last time someone was so nice to me like that. I decided to ask if they need help with anything. They shook their heads meaning no. It was almost done anyway.

After the bed was made. We all sat in a circle around a pile of berries. Before we started to dig in, I went in my pocket and took out some berries I found. The two had wide eyes as they noticed a pink berry, a Pecha berry. I had found only 2 though, so I gave both to them. They were shy at first but then started to eat them. They both seem very happy because I can hear them both purring. That's adorable. I unconsciously reached both my hands out and pet the foxes. Both looked surprised and blushing. "Oops sorry about that. I didn't realize I was doing that."

"Vee…" the gentle one got a bit sad I stopped. As for the other…

"VEE" she got embarrassed and threw a paw to my side.

"Ouch, I said I was sorry" after all that randomly happened we all turned in for the night. The bed was very soft, they did a wonderful job. I couldn't help but fall asleep immediately. But before I diffed into my deep, I told the eevees "thank you so much,Girls. I promise il make it up to you. Good night, girls."
