Evo: alright chapter 4. Seems I'm doing alright. Hopefully chapter 3 went well. But if not, this chapter should make up for lack of interest. I did, however, went back and fixed a lot of mistakes and polished it a bit. funny how i missed all that. Now without further ado, Disclaimer, take it away Lazuli! XD

Chapter 4: A surprise visitor
Leon's: PoV
I woke up extremely early today. Not sure why but I can only guess that I'm having a hard time sleeping. I don't particularly hate my leafy bed but it is uncomfortable at times. Hard to believe I've been here for 3 days. (I wonder what today has in store for us?) I thought to myself while opening my phone. Surprisingly to see it's battery is still full. Pretty sure this isn't normal. Not to mention that translation app that appeared yesterday. So mysterious, I wonder if Arceus has something to do with this. I doubt it, but who knows.
Soon later, I crawled my way out of the den to see it's almost sunrise. I walked over to the Chesto Berry tree for some to eat. To think this berry is basically a coffee berry. Go figured, right? After eating two, I seem to have enough energy to do something nice for the Eevee sisters. I owe them so much. For letting me stay here, sharing food and becoming my friends. Maybe I can have a better life if it stays this way. "Hmm? What's that?" I say out loud while looking over in the distance and I swear I've seen lighting in the clouds. "That doesn't look too good, hopefully that passes to a different direction."
Lazuli's: PoV
Ugh I feel exhausted. Maybe some Chesto berries will help with this. I start to stretch my front paws and back legs. After stretching a bit I crawl out of the den to head over to the Chesto tree. I noticed that Leon was also up and at the tree. (Guess he needed a wake up call too) I thought to myself before pawing his leg "Can I have a berry too, please. I need it, I feel like hell." I ask him before laying down next to him.
"Yea, here you go. I was getting full on these." He said as he put 4 of them down in front of me. "Hey, Lazuli, I think we should harvest these berry plants today." He asked me while taking another bite out of the berry.
"Why's that? Picking berries is boring, why should I?" I say back, not wanting to do something like that today. I was in the mood to train a bit.
"Because of that." He pointed into the direction of the mountains. Confused at first because he was just pointing over there. Then I saw it, lightning racing across the sky. A storm is coming and from the looks of those bolts, it's big.
"Ugh I see what you mean. Well we are getting the Raining season. Not that surprised we got a Lighting storm coming." I say to him before getting up. I picked up some Chesto berries before walking back towards the den for a drink.
As I entered the cave, I saw my sister starting to wake up. She's always been the morning Pokemon between us. "Good morning,Sis. I brought you breakfast." I sat the berries in front of her. It took her a bit to wake up before taking a bit.
"Good morning and thank you for the berries." she replied, eating the food she was given. After a bit of stretching and drinking some water, she became fully awake. Drinking some myself, we started to talk about what might happen today. Being how there's a Lighting storm coming. Her ears started to fall at the mention of lighting. She isn't good with thunder and lightning storms, she gets very scared whenever one comes our way.
Soon onward, Lily went out of the cave, while I went to our food supply area within here. We usually stock it very well but since the human came, I have to restock it more often. (To think humans ate some much more than us.) Thinking to myself. Another thought popped in my head, regarding Leon that is, what does he plan to do? I mean he can't stay here forever,right? Does that mean he'll one day…. Leave?
Lily's: PoV
As I crawled my way out of the den to join Leon, I immediately noticed the sky in the distance (oh no..I was really hoping sis was just teasing about this. I hate thunder so much) I can already feel the anxiety building up and my eyes started to water. I was broken from my train of thought when I felt something touch my head.
"Good morning, everything alright? You look like you are about to cry." He said to me while petting my head. I don't know why but it feels really good. I started to purr without realizing it. "Seems we'll be getting a nasty storm sometime today it seems." He says scratching the back of my ear. (Ahh feels so nice.) I thought to myself, but the mention of storm. I step back with my head hanging low.
"I don't do so well around thunder and lightning. It's really scary to me. Whenever I hear it, I start to freeze up and break down in tears." I tell him as I start to tear up just by thinking about it. I take a few steps to him with my ears and tail down, scared from the incoming storm. Huddling up to his leg. He then, unexpectedly, picked me up and sat me down on his lap. I couldn't help but blush over the sudden action. Looking up to him wondering why he did this.
"Sorry about that. You looked scared and about to cry. I didn't know how to approach to comfort you but I thought this will do." He said to me with a calm and gentle smile. I couldn't help but feel like embracing him in his chest. The only other beings that were this caring and sincere, is Big sis and Mom. Unable to hold back my tears, I buried my face in his chest. I can feel his hand petting the back of my head down to my back.
He soon stopped after a bit. I looked up to him to see why he stopped. His attention was taken by something in my flower garden. I looked over to see what he's looking at. It took me a bit to find it but I think seen something black and yellow? "What is that?" I say as I get up to head over to whatever it is. When I got there I was in shock. "LEON, COME QUICK!" I say to him. He immediately bolted up and ran over to me. What shocked me was it was an injured Pokemon. I believe it's a Shinx, but it's fur is yellow instead of blue.
Leon's: PoV
As soon as I heard Lily, I ran as fast as I possibly can to whatever is going on. I caught up to her and saw a Pokemon, a Shinx, but it's fur is yellow. "It's a shiny shinx, how rare is that." I say to her as she looks at me wondering why I said shiny. "Oh sorry, Shiny is the term humans use to describe a Pokemon with a different fur color then it's natural kind. In this case, A Shinx, who's fur coat is normally black and light blue, is instead black and yellow. It's a very rare trait to have and human would kill themselves over to get their hands on one" as I explained this to Lily, I think I messed up on that last part, oops
"WHAT!? They k-k-kill themselves over a Pokemon with different fur. Does that mean that some human will kill you if this shinx is with us?" She said with worry and scared tone. I couldn't help but laugh at her over reacting to that but it was partly my fault.
"Easy, Lily, humans don't kill each over shiny pokemon. It was a joke." I say laughing calming her down. She took a big sigh in relief, knowing now I wasn't in any danger from other humans hurting me. I look back over to the unconscious yellow cat's body. Trying to see what's wrong or find any injuries. "This isn't good. Lily, take a look" I call her to my side for her to see as well. "Look, burn marks, Still fresh from whatever attacked it. Poor thing." Lily put her paw and ear on it to see if there's any signs it's still alive. Thankfully it is, it's seem to be in a lot of pain though. I scooped up the injured Shinx in my arms and carried it back to the den as fast as we could.
Lazuli's PoV
"Alright, now that that's done, time to check on sis and Leon" I say out loud looking over the 3 piles of berries. Preparing breakfast for just me and Lily was easy but now we have another month to feed. (It's bad enough our food supply is getting lower but I swear, if we have to feed one more Pokemon or human, i'm gonna flip.) I hear paw steps and foot steps like they're running. I know it's morning but no need to rush. I look over to the entrance and see sis rushing around with something in her mouth, trying to pull. To my surprise it's a black and yellow cat. (Oh my Fu..) "Sis, come quick! This shinx needs our help." My train of thought was interrupted by sis yelling for help.
I look over the shinx's body to see multiple burn marks. The Pokemon must have been in some battle with a fire-type. "I'll go get some Sitrus berries, Sis could you go get some Rawst berries from the garden. Leon, Go help her pick them and some extra Sitrus while you're at it." After giving them orders, I tend back to the electric-type. Getting some water onto the big leaf I always use to pull berries around and dragging it along to its body. I went back to another part of the cave to bring back some cotton. We used to have a Cottonee as a neighbor til she was carried away by the wind. Bringing back some cotton, I then Tried my best to wet it a little then applied it on the cat's head. Hopefully this will do till they come back.
Not long after, both Leon and Lily came back with the berries i asked for. Taking out another leaf from our storing area, I asked Leon to mash the Rawst Berries, mushy as possible. As for the Sitrus, me and Sis started to cut up the berries with our claws, exposing the soft inside so it's easier to eat. Assuming its lack of strength to eat it normally in its weakened state. Looking over to Leon, who had butchered the Rawst berries into a nice, smooth mush. "Ok Leon, can you apply the mushy paste over the burn areas" he simply nodded and then doing so. Now that the burns have been taken care of, all we can do is wait for it to awaken. Everything was going good, until we had a unexpected visitor.
???: "HEY, THOSE WHO ARE IN THERE!! Come out from the cave, I have questions for anyone in there."
Leon's PoV
A Female voice was heard from outside our home, from its tone, she's pissed. I've learned my lesson about women when they're pissed off, all hell breaks loose. (I better prepare myself. Who knows what might happen, hopefully things don't get... Ugly.) I made sure I grabbed my blade and belt before making my way out of the cave, to face the angry female waiting outside. What awaits me is the female in question, A tall, blue cat, with a fierce black mane with what looks like lightning sparking off of it, giving the dark coat a shine. Yellow eyes and a star-like shape on the tip of its tail. A Luxray, the final form of the shinx evolution tree. Known for their strong Electrical attacks and swift Dodging, these Lions are no joke by all means. I made sure I held my hand over the knife. "Can I help you, Luxray?" I ask, watching her movements carefully."I am able to understand your language."The thunder cat slams her paw down before speaking
Luxray: "Very well, Human, I demand you answer my question. I am looking for a yellow Shinx, Tell me where he is." (Hmm this doesn't look good. The Shinx is still recovering, not only that but young.) Thinking to myself. "And don't think about lying to me,Human. I can smell his scent around here. But these flowers are covering it up."
Great, her sense of smell is gonna be a problem. Luckily the flowers are helping mask the scent. (Thank you,Lily for your garden) I did held the little kitten in my arms so most likely it's on me. "Tell me why are you looking for him?" I asked her, trying to buy some time for me to think of a way to throw her off. But that seemed to piss her off.
Luxray:"A human like you doesn't need to know. Where is he!? I'm getting impatient." She then lowers her upper body, lighting starts circulating around her, getting into a attack stance. I can't help but to get into a stance as well, preparing for what looks like, fight. Although i do have a rather long knife, I grip the sheath and have my thumb pressed up against the weapon's guard. Crouching down a bit and shift my feet to where my footing is stable. Does it have to be this way?
:Meanwhile, back in the cave:
Lazuli's PoV
"Sis, do we have any Oran berries? I wanted to rub some on the shinx's head." I asked sis and she brought one over to me. I noticed the electric-type stir and managed to roll onto its back. With the legs spread out, both me and sis saw something we didn't want to see. A small pink member somewhere coming out of its sheath. Well, at least we know it's a male. I rolled the young male's body back on its side. Meanwhile, I wonder if Leon is ok. He went outside to check on whomever was out there.
"Sis!" I heard Lily call me over"Look, he's starting to wake up." We both look over to him as he tries to wake up. Thankfully he fully awoken and looked around, confused and scared. A few seconds later he notices the two of us.
Shinx: "w-who are you two? Where am I?" The thunder kitten asked, hoping for answers. "Please don't hurt me." He starts to back away in fear. Until he hit the wall.
Lily: "it's ok, we're friendly. Please calm down. We won't hurt you, we brought you here because you were injured." She says calmly to the scared cat while walking slowly. managing to get a bit closer to him and sit about 6 feet in front of him. (I have to calm him down a bit, but how?) I ponder on what to say or do, but then it hit me. I sat next to Lily and said to him that I liked his fur color. That seemed to work, seeing his eyes light up and ears pointed up. "You like my fur? You're not tricking me, are you?" He asked with a slight sound of hope. Guess being a 'Shiny' has its ups and downs,huh. "Yea, I agree, Sis, I like his fur too. So shiny and yellow, it's really cool." He seemed to blush at that last part. "Can you tell us your name, Shinx?" My sister asked the now yellow, black and red Electric-type.
Shinx: "it-it-its Hope" he said nervously. That's actually a cute name for him. Hope, it's such a calming name to have.
"Hope, huh? That's a cute name" I accidently blurted out. The once yellow fur, head to toe, was replaced with red. He got so embarrassed, he fainted, his eyes had swirls in them. "Wow, he fainted over embarrassment. Well, I'm going to check on Leon, he's been gone a long time. You stay here and watch over Hope, il be right back."
"Be careful, Sis, I have a bad feeling something is gonna happen" I nodded to her and made my way out. As I crawled out I noticed two things, One, there was a very angry Luxray staring at Leon and two, the Luxray exposed it's fangs and is looking to kill. My ears fell flat, a fight between Human and Pokemon. "Oh no...Leon.
Evo: well, this was supposed to be something else but as I was writing it kind of went off to what I originally wanted but I Feel this might be a warm up to what's to come. Also shedding some light on some stuff. Hopefully those who are reading this are finding this story enjoyable. If I find mistakes or if anyone finds anything (ik my grammar suuucks) il be sure to go back and polish it as best I can and clarify things that didn't make sense at 1st.
