Chapter 11 Hope vs Pangoro/Leon vs Lucario

Lily's PoV

I woke up, same as usual. Seeing my crush's face buried in my fluffy tail. My sister, sleeping in her weird way again. This time she's under Leon's shirt. How she got there when Hope was there, I have no idea. Hope was being attacked by a fluffy tail, he keeps swatting at it in his sleep. (How cute) wiggling my butt out of the Human's arm I was snuggling on, I made my way out of the tent. But not before I take this, hehe. I took Leon's phone and headphones. I saw how he works this thingy, he even showed me how to find the music and how to read a bit so I know what songs I want to listen to. "Mmm no, not this. Or this. Oo this one~" *click* (plays 'I remember by Inverness and Jack newsone') Putting the phone in my little basket I use, putting it on my head and made my way towards the mini garden I was working on here for fun and to relax. Swishing my tail to the beat and trotting around, singing..

As I planted the new berries, I couldn't help but shake my butt and tail to the Rhythm and beat. Humming the rest of the song. I started doing this ever since we got here. I have other songs on here I like, but I needed something to put a pep in my step this morning. Normally I would have eaten a Chesto Berry, but some Pokemon last night came and stole them all. A few others were taken too but not all of them, mostly was the chesto that was missing. Taking my bucket I madefrom leaves and scoped up some water. Taking the water in my month before spraying the plants, pretending I'm using Water Gun as I do it. Hey, how did you really think I was watering my plants? Can't exactly water without a watering can or even hold one. About a hour or so of taking care of the berries, the others started to wake up and move around. Hope came over to help with the garden. It's nice that he helps me, I enjoy my time with him at times. At times we would talk about what to plant next for Mr.Goro and his family. Hope wanted to play some music for a bit, he plays a song called 'Broken by Seether'. I like this duet song, Hope would hum the male parts and I would hum the female parts. We have gotten close over these short 5 days. We all have gotten close since that day we all met. "Big Siiiiiiiis!" I heard someone said before I was tackled to the ground. It was little Mitsuki, all happy and cheery as usual. "Big sis Lily, where is big brother?"

"Hope is right here." I point to the yellow cat. She looked at Hope for a second before replying. "Not Hope, Big brother Leon." Hope's feelings must've been stabbed by that. His face looks hurt and sad. I gave him a hug and a paw on the back. I saw him crack a little smile. I told the little Riolu that the human she's looking for is at the pond getting water to boil. As soon as I said that, she bolted so fast, a dust cloud of her image was left. Mama Lucario said that Mitsuki had an amazing power potential. She already mastered Focus Palm, Bullet Punch, and at the moment She's learning her mother's move, Blaze Kick. Going back to Hope, who's carrying some berries for breakfast for Leon so he can, attempt, to cook. His cooking was fine, but he did mess up on flavor a bit. When you take the first bite is so good, it was the after taste that got us. The human started reading more on cooking and techniques on prep work. *Giggles* I just remembered, the one time Leon tried to make something, he asked Hope to try it. He loved the taste, but after finishing the dish, he complained his stomach was hurting him. Immediately bolted to the far corner of the woods. It took Hope about 5 hours to come back, his face was pale and he was covered in mint leaves. Smelling minty fresh.

Leon called everyone for breakfast, followed by a trail of.."Oo what's that smell?" I asked myself. The sweet aroma of Kelpsy berry juice, simmering over a fire. Lansat and Custap berries, chopped up in chunks, that are mixed in. Along with diced up Rowap berry, eating one of those whole would be suicide for your taste buds. To finish the dish off, he poured Payapa berry juice in while mixing it for 2 minutes. This was the longest, most torturous, and agonizing wait of all our lives. Our stomachs were growling so much, it could be mistaken as a starving snorlax. Finally the long wait is over, and the human has served us our meals. Everyone coo in delight of the mix flavors. He's gotten a lot better, I'll say. Some of us asked for seconds. I wonder what kind of dish will we have at dinner? As we ate our breakfast, some of us started to talk to each other. I was talking to little Mitsuki. Asking her how's she doing and what she is gonna do today. She plans on meditating and picking flowers. Running over to Leon, hugging him from behind. He laughed as he picked her up and placed her on his lap. Hope and Papa Goro chimed in, asking me about the garden and some tips. Makes me happy knowing others wanted to learn how to do all this like I was taught. "Hey, Hope, today is your rematch with Papa Goro right?" He simply nodded, looking ready for the battle. Hopefully both Leon and Hope will be able to beat them.

Leon's PoV

It's an hour before the match, Me and Hope are bouncing off ideas. Our opponents are tough but we have tricks. Hope tells me he has a secret technique that could give him an advantage. He hasn't said a word on what it is. The curiosity is killing me and I can't help but poke at Hope to tell, he shocked me for poking. Me and Hope got our plans ready and went our separate ways to find some food. As I walk towards the Chesto Berries, I ran into Lily. She was sitting up in the sun, her lovely brown and cream color fur flowing in the wind. Her tail swishing around in delight and humming a tone. Looks like she is doing something, wonder what it is? I called out to her, she jumped in surprise and scrambled around, hiding the thing she was working on. "L-L-Leon!? You started me. What's wrong?" She huddled down with both her ears and tail down and covered up whatever she was hidding. She was blushing and fidgeting in place. Maybe something embarrassing happened or she's shy about what she has. "I'm sorry, Lily, looks like I'm bothering you. I came over to get some berries." "O-oh it's ok. Sorry, please don't mind me hehe." She says to me as I get the berries. I've seen her nervous before, I tend to let it be. Picking up the berries, I made my way back, waving goodbye to Lily. She perked her head up and gave a smile.

:5 minutes till the rematch:

I regrouped with Hope, looks like he's all pumped up. We both ate an Oran berry to give us some energy just in case. Stretching our limbs out, warming up for the on coming fight. Still won't be an easy battle, even with us getting a day to relax our muscles and come up with a plan. Soon after everyone started to gather around, Lazuli has yet another helpless fish. This time it's a… A SEAKING!? How does she do this, I have no idea. She did say she wanted to be a Glaceon, not a Vaporeon right? I swear, She's more of a cat than a fox. Lily is fidgeting again, I'm starting to get worried about her and her health. Making her way over to me with a blush on her face, she asks me to close my eyes. Unable to question or say no to the cute vixen, I do so. As my eyes are closed, I feel something get on my lap and something being put around my neck. She hugged me tightly and said I could open my eyes. Opening my eyes to see the normal-type looking extremely happy, I felt my chest to find a necklace was placed on me. The necklace was mostly made from strong grass and had cosmos wrapped around it, a mini trinket was hanging off of this, finishing the look. A part of the trinket was a rainbow crystal sphere of some sort, surrounded by mini crystals. Looking at it, I felt happy and calm. It brought a tear to my eye that someone actually cared enough about me to be so thoughtful. I reached over and hugged her, stroking her soft, fluffy mane before backing away. I said thank you to her as I rubbed her head. I could hear purring and a whisper saying your welcome. She walked over to Hope next, giving him a necklace too. His was a bit different, the middle part is a yellow diamond instead of a sphere, like on mine. "I found these shiny things with Mitsuki. I thought I'd make you two some good luck charms. Do you like it?" She asks nervously. I gave her another head rub and Hope hugged and thanked her. This was sweet of her, I feel like I can do this finally. Lazuli gave us something we never saw coming, a big fluffy hug. She never does this, which means we must be important or give us confidence.

The battle is almost here, Me and Hope walked over to the area to fight in. Open clearing with a small pond, few Boulders and trees. Lucario and her mate, Pangoro, were waiting for us. Stretching out their limbs and back. The girls gather up on a large rock, giving them the perfect view to watch the fight in a safe distance. Lucario and Goro walked over to us, seems like they have something to say. The aura fighter till her head with a grin, seems like she thought of something. "Hey boys, I just had a great idea. Instead of a one on one battles. We will do a team battle!" She says in an amusing tone. A team battle is something me and Hope haven't done before. It's not like I never wanted to, just never had the time. The female's mate was shocked at the idea too. So it was a last minute choice. I looked down to Hope, as he looked up to me. I hold my fist to him as I ask "You ready, Buddy?" "Yea, let's do this!" He says back and bumping my fist with his paw. "Alright, here we go!"

Leon/Hope's PoV (experimental)

(Evo: In this scene, the PoV will change constantly. I'll explain more at the end. S=switch PoV. Leon is 1st)

Me and my thunder cat buddy got into a stance and prepare our attacks. We both hear Mitsuki yell begin, signaling us to start the match. I charge forward with Hope following behind. The fighting type rushed over to Hope with Extreme Speed, sending him flying. Turning around quickly to counter, but failing miserably when she did a sweep move to knock me off my feet, knocking my ass to the ground (dam it again!?) She went for another attack aimed for my stomach, I rolled out of the way and got back on my feet. Only to be surprised by my second opponent I forgot about. Throwing some Hammer arms at me, just barely avoiding them. Goro was also taken by surprised as an Iron Tail nailed him on his side, pushing him back a bit. "Thanks buddy"

"No problem. Look out!" I warned Leon of the oncoming Aura sphere aimed at him. I fired a Thunder shock to stop it, the moves collided and cancelled each other out. Ms.Lucario came forward with a long pole in paws, twirling it around before swinging it and me. Dodging left and right from the Bone Rush onslaught, keeping my footing. Thankfully Leon got in her way and was able to break her staff weapon with his arua. His arua isn't strong but the surprise encounter must've messed with her concentration. I followed up Leon's distraction with a Night slash, landing a solid blow. Me and Leon broke away from her, what we heard was the Blue doggo laughing at us. "Way to go Hope, you just triggered your worst nightmare." She says to us and Leon shouted in shock.

"HOPE, WATCH OUT! She has Justified ability!" I say to him. Dam it, what are the odds she has such a powerful ability as her trump card. This makes her stronger for every Dark type move that hits. This is bad, she got stronger to her already overwhelming strength. A flash of light headed straight to us, Bullet Punch, landing hits on me and Hope. Regrouping our strength to fight back. Goro goes for a Hammer arm towards Hope, I intercept him by grabbing his arm and flipping him over me onto the ground. Getting up and began to throw normal punches at me. Deflecting them and countering as much as possible. Goro goes for a grab, I jumped over and off of him. Landing behind him, I quickly turned around and went for a punch to his blind spot. But was stopped by a cat crashing into me, knocking us both down. I try to get up with Hope and see Goro being helped up by his mate. Both looking ready to attack again. The Dark type looks exhausted, good he's close to being knocked out. Me and Hope looked at each other, both knowing we are getting frustrated at this. "I think it's time we go all out. What do you think, Buddy?"

"Oh yea. Time to show them our real power." I say back to him. I get back on my feet as Leon pulls out his shiny phone to play some of the music we picked. Clicking the button to play our fighting song, only to screw up badly and played something completely different.

Leon: "Fatality?" He says back before shutting off whatever that was. He apologized for clicking the wrong song and the poor joke. Now actually looking, he played a song we feel more energy from.

Music is loud and our blood is pumping. Now things are getting serious. We gotta end this quickly. I lay up, and hold my paw up to my face. "Alright, time to use my trump card, Fire Fang!" Fire ignited from my fangs as I bit down on my paw, damaging myself. Everyone was in shock of what just happened. Goro started to sweat, turning to his mate. "Lucario, you didn't.." "Yup, I taught Hope how to use the move Fire Fang." She replied back to him with a smirk. I gave up the move Tackle for Fire Fang. Ms.Lucario introduced me to an Incineroar who taught me how to use it. It took a long time to master it overnight, but it all paid off. As I bite down, my fur started to glow brighter with flames sparking out. Leon asked me why I did this, I replied to him that I did this for the burn status. My ability, Guts, is triggered by having any status. When it's active, my power is doubled. Now I'm all powered up, I ask Leon to grab my paw and throw me as hard as he can. Grabbing paw and hand, spinning me around once before launching me. I start spindashing in mid air while using Iron Tail. The aura fighter was going to block the attack, but her mate dashing in front of Hope taking all the damage she would have taken. The spinning Iron Tail hurt the dark type incredibly, after it ended, the giant panda fell to the ground. One opponent down, one to go. Leon ran up to my side, ready to beat our last opponent.

I'm surprised how strong that attack was. So that is the power of guts. The fighting type cracks her knuckles, with a grin like she's ready to get a bit more harder. She summoned two Bone Rushes, twirling both of them. Making the first move, the female Pokemon charged straight at us with full speed. Taking a hard left aiming for me as she swings her weapon at me, narrowly avoiding the attack. Hope fired a Thunder shock but was deflected off the aura bone. I tried to attack but to no anvil, she dodge them all with ease. Flames ignited from the doggo, delivering a Blaze Kick to my blind spot. Landing a heavy blow on me, but not before I grabbed the leg and elbow hard on a weak pressure point on her nerves. Yelling out in pain as she fired an Aura sphere to my stomach, knocking me back. Hope attacked with Fire Fang successfully landing on her arm. That left a nasty burn status. Seems she's weakened, good now's our chance to finish this. "Alright Hope, ready to finish this?" "Yea, time to end this!" Hope rushed towards the blue dog with another Fire Fang, Lucario saw this and fired another ball of aura. While focusing on him, she forgot about me as I sweep her off the aura fighter's feet. Hope came up for the final blow. "Ahhhh!" The female screamed in pain from the fire fang, tapping her paw 3 times, signaling she gave up. And with that said, We won our rematch. Both me and Hope hugged each other in joy that we did it. The girls all came to join us. Pangoro went over to his mate to help the fighting type get back up on her feet.

:35minutes passed:

Lily's PoV

"There we go, boys. You are all patched up." I say to the group of males that are covered in injuries. The battle was intense, they really went overboard with this. The male I have feelings for is covered head to toe in bruises and his clothes are ruined, again. Luckily there is more in the tent. Sis was helping me by gathering all the healing berries we had and Mitsuki was helping her mother with her injuries. Hope said he had an announcement to make to all of us. He looked nervous about something, trying to build up the courage to say something. "E-everyone, I've decided that I am gonna take off the ever stone band on my paw. I'm ready to evolve." We all cheered for him that he's finally ready. I know he has been wanting to for a while now but needed to prove himself. If I remember correctly, his evolution goes Shinx, Luxio, then Luxray. A Luxio… Does that mean he will lose his personality and become one of them? What if mating season comes for him, will he change further into a jerk like the rest of those males? "But I'm not going to do it now. I'm gonna wait till Lily and Lazuli evolve into what they want. So all three of us can experience it." Hope says to us, leaving the band alone. Awe, how sweet. That was thoughtful of him, he's a great friend. I do pray he will still be the same old Hope when he turns into a Luxio.

As we all stayed around and talked. Leon started to prepare dinner. Nothing fancy since he's all banged up. Just simple curry and peach berries. Seems he doesn't have the energy to cook much or move around. I try to help him the best I can by bringing the things he needs. Everytime I bring something right to him, he pats me on the head, yay. Leon finished making us dinner and started serving. During dinner, Mama Lucario had something to tell us all. "Alright, I think it's time. First off, congratulations Leon, Hope, you both have bested us in our test. For that you both no longer need any training and free to leave anytime you wish. But promise you'll come visit us whenever you can." Everyone cheered at what she said, Leon and Hope said that we will visit them again. I wouldn't mind coming back to see them. "And second, I have some information to give to all of you. Leon, you asked me in the past where exactly we are at. Well, we in the Aloha region, more precise, an Island connected to it, located somewhere between the Aloha and Kalos regions. There is a docking town South West from here. A day or two's walk, 30 minutes if you fly by pelipper."

Hope: "can we get a ride?"

Mama L: "No."

She explains a bit more and how things work at the Docks, apparently everyone there knows her and the fact that her old master was the man who built the port and his family still oversees everything that goes on. The aura user said she had a special item that she used to get anything she needed or wanted if it's within reason. But it was lost after a terrible storm and ruined their old home. She apologizes for not having it. "Thank you very much for everything, Ms.Lucario. we will never forget anything you have done for us. We promise to visit when we can." our human male says to the family that helped us in more ways than one. Leon tapped my back, I couldn't help but let out a small eep in surprise. He asked me if I've seen his phone. Oh no, I hope he didn't lose it. I'd be sad for him and we couldn't listen to music anymore nor understand us. Speaking of missing, Where is big sis?

Lazuli's PoV

I walked over to a meadow I found the other day. Getting on top of a rock that has a great view of the flowers, the pond of fish Pokemon and the breeze feels so nice. Sun was starting to set, making the area turn orangie. Putting my paw inside my fluffy mane and pulling out Leon's phone. Putting in those earphones in my long ears, going through the list of songs. Everyone else today had it and now it's mine turn, I got jealous so what. Going through the list, trying to find my type of music. I prefer mellow and soft guitar songs. I found one, so I played it and started to sing it.

I sat there and sang in peace. This song is always calming for me, I don't know why it does but I love it. Then I played some other songs, illusion and dreams by Poets of the fallen, Time 2 by Edan Dobson, and finally Hymn for the missing by Red. I noticed rustling in the bushes to my left, figure it was Leon or Sis. What came out was something terrible, a Lycanroc. Not only that, it's a midnight form. With that sneaky grin they always have and that horrible attitude towards others. I get up and stand my ground, being on guard. "What do you want? Can't you see I'm busy relaxing." "Easy baby, don't be so tight. I'm here to see if you're up for a little 'fun' with a male like me." He says back with a cocky tone. Great, a horny mutt, looks like it's gonna be a long night…

Evo: uuughhh finally, after so long. Sorry this was alot longer to post. Stuff going on in life, you know the deal. Anyway time to explain switch PoV. Switch PoV is a series of switching PoV like in a action movie that would switch view of 2 fights. Got the idea to try it too see if it works out. Awhile back I mentioned that I had a experimental type of writing, this was it. Let me know your thoughts on this and if you seen something like it. I'm not sure it I should do it again, but il keep it in mind. Im also not sure when the next chapter will be done. Well til...
