Evo: oof I'm actually not sure how people reacted to the last chapter, hope it was alright.

Lily: well, it was dark in the beginning. But it should be fine, right?

Hope: let's focus on this chapter. It's a lot better, given the title.

Chapter 13 Better Days with Friends

Leon's PoV

4 days have passed since that incident happened. Over the days that went by, things were awkward between the 4 of us. Reasons for that was, confessions were made, getting attacked badly and kissing. Another thing that happened was me and Hope found that same Lycanroc that assaulted Lazuli, he was in a horrible state. Seems like he couldn't move because of the damages the vixen dealt to him. For that, he became prey to the night Pokemon and so was killed by one. Limbs were torn from the body, some gone and others half eaten. Body was mangled by what looks like a pack of wolves fighting to eat some of the meat. The only thing left of this carcass, was the head that they left untouched. Eyes wide open, soulless, lifeless, and empty. Out of respect for the dead, I closed the wolf's eyes. Death is something you always honor, doesn't matter who or what kind of being it was, that soul will be carried on to the afterlife. Me and Hope thought to bury what's left. Our sassy Eevee watched from afar, glaring at the remains. I asked her if she's going to be alright. "Yea, I'll be fine. I should be able to sleep better knowing he's dead and the other victims have finally gotten their justice, if there was any others." She replied back. A bit cold hearted but in a way, guess it's normal to be. Stuff like this is somewhat more common than humans do. The vixen turned back to me, her eyes gleaming in relief. Walks up to me and paws my legs, wanting me to pick her up. Picking up the fluffy fox, holding her and as soon as I do so, she cuddles into my chest. Purring a bit, this tells me she's very happy and safe.

:Present day 11:39am:

Forgot to mention another thing that's been oddly happening. For the past few days since that day, someone has been playing tricks on us. Hope had his face draw on, mostly funny things. Lily goes nuts whenever you mess with her babies, plants, so all the berries would be plucked and mixed around with other types of food. Lily's little system of what berries are what got messed up. Lazuli's was that her playlist on the phone was changed to Justin Bieber.

Lazuli: GOD I HATE THIS GUY, he's so freaking gay!

Anyway, moving on, mine was for some unknown reason, my underwear would be hanging on a pole, blowing high and proud. The one day, Lucario and her family saluted to it. Why was I the victim of this? The four of us knew someone we know is doing this to us, question is who? No way in Giratina's dimension that Lily would do this. She has a gentle heart and loving personality. Hope I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do it, given he was pranked the most. Lazuli on the other hand, she might have done it but she would never hurt her loving sister. That just leaves three beings left, well more like one. I walk over to who I believe to be doing all the pranks.

"Mitsuki, was it you who's pranking us?" I asked the lil pup, she was shaking in guilt. The Eevee sisters asked me why I believe it's her. "Well that's simple. Mitsuki has the Prankster ability. This ability is rare, basically allows her support type moves to go first and it gives the Pokemon a bit of a playful yet trouble making personality. Her mother has justified, so that trait was passed on to her. When our little girl here evolves, the ability will charge to her mother's." I answer to the group while petting the blue dog in question.

Blushing from the pets, being caught and embarrassed by her mother lecturing about how wrong she was. Tears started to build up as she apologized for everything, holding onto my hips and crying afterwards. She's a good kid, mischievous but sweet. I kneed down to the crying dog and asked if she would like to play with me. Her face lit up and tackled me into a hug, saying yes. I looked over to my friends, Hope was fiddling with a berry and the vixens' were swishing their tails madly. I think they are a bit jealous that I chose to play with Mitsuki.

Lily's PoV

(Oh.. I wish Leon would play with me.) I thought to myself. I'd like to play, like running, fish catching and rough house. Me and sis used to play daily when our parents were still around. But after they were gone, Sis and I stopped playing and focused on more important things like food and maintaining shelter. The human that was gonna play with the Riolu, walked over to me and pat me on the head. "Hey, why don't you, Lazuli, and Hope join us?" He asked us. My tail, swishing around in joy. This is my chance to play with the person I care for. I wouldn't care what we do, as long as I was with him. The others agreed to join as well with me, so all five of us can do something.

"Any ideas?" Hope asked the group, Seeing if anyone has something.

Leon: "Mmm nope, got nothing."

Lazuli: "Same here."

Me: "Unfortunately, me neither.."

Mitsuki: "Fight club?"

Everyone but Mitsuki: "No fight club."

This is hard, sucks we can't travel far. The only things we could do is garden, bathe in the hot springs, train, or watch fish. We also must be careful not to go too far east, a family of nasty bug-type Pokemon live in the deep forest. Mama Lucario strictly warns us to never go near that area, especially us females. I heard stories of what male bug Pokemon tend to do to unsuspected girls from Mom. Just remembering those stories gave me the chills. There are mountains to the North and North East areas, lots of ice types live there. To the South is a lovely beach, but in this time of season, not a good idea. The ocean water is colder and some water type Pokemon like krabby or some other crab Pokemon have their nests in the sand. Seems that we are out of options. Hanging our heads low in disappointment, we started our way back to the one place that we love, hot spring.

:Hot spring, 5:39pm:

"Well, least it's relaxing here." Bis sis called out. We lay in the nice, hot water, washing away the dirt and whatever was stuck to our furs. The boys are across from us girls, guess to separate genders for some reason. But that didn't stop us, we went over to the Males to join them. Hope looked away slightly, Mitsuki giggles at him and goes for a hug. Tackling the poor cat into the water. I have noticed she likes being around Hope more than Leon. But whenever she has a problem, the being is who the fighting type turns to is, the human. "Hope, here, let me wash you." The blue dog asks the yellow cat.

"o-oh ok. You don't have too." He replied, not that it matters because she was already washing the electric-type's back. Looking back to my couch, I can see him blushing a bit and looks like he's in pain. I asked if everything is alright, all he did was point to his back. Turning back, I looked around for sis. Leon points to his backside, tell me she's over here. I look behind the human and see my big sis washing the male's back. She noticed me and tried to hide the blush that came. I stepped up next to her and started to wash the naked back of the human too on his right. Soon it became a contest to see who's better. The fast we went, the more Leon cried out in pain and pleasure on his back being washed and massaged. "Ouch umm girls? Oo Girls!? Yyyyouch! Stop it! Ahh To much!"

:After a very intense contest:

"We are both so sorry, Leon!" Me and big sis bowed our heads and apologized deeply for the bruises and marks. He waved his hand and rubbed the back of his head with the other hand. Hope and Mitsuki are applying Oran berry oil on his back wounds.

"It's ok, girls. I'm fine, but what's up with you two? I haven't seen this side of you, Lily and Lazuli." He asked us, but we were still looking at the ground In shame for hurting him. We stayed in silence for a bit til I broke the tension.

"I-i-i don't know what came over me. This never happened before. I guess I just got… jealous." I just wanna run away. I can't face him or sis, I'm too embarrassed about all this. I felt a hand touch my favorite spot on my ear, cooing at the touch on how great it feels. He does the same to sis and tells us.

"It's ok, I'm not mad or anything. Just concerned. After all, we all care for each other." After he stopped, the human went back in the water to relax the hurt muscles. This time, Sis and I just layed next to him, making sure we don't hurt him. I wanted to be closer, but this is good enough. But clearly not for the male, who's picking both of us up and setting us on his covered lap. I was shy at first because he put me right above the area the male organ is at, but it's covered in a thick towel. Almost feels like a pillow for the water. Lazuli is on his legs also on the same towel. Laying back and enjoying the comfort.

Hope's PoV

It seems that the human and both Eevees have fallen asleep in the water. I walked over to them, trying to wake the sleepy head. Leon woke up, followed by the sisters. He tells me that, They are gonna go take a nap back at the tent. The tall boy got his clothes back on, picked up the fluff balls and heads towards home. It was just me and the prankster left. We didn't know what to do besides splashing water at each other. In all fairness, we rarely spend time together. Once or twice we would talk about Leon, Lily, berries we planted or just sit somewhere. But it just feels awkward around someone you barely know. I tried to think of what we could talk about, but nothing comes to mind. Suddenly, I feel something rubbing my back. I turn back to see the blue doggo doing it. "Umm Mitsuki?"

"Oh, sorry, Hope. I saw a spot on you that was dirty. Hehe.." she replied back. That was nice of her. Funny, I thought Leon washed my back completely a while ago. We started to talk about how are things in her training with Lucario. She tells me the training she has to do is similar to what we went through but harder. "It's honestly not as bad as you think. Sure, splitting the pond in half and running through it in 10 seconds before the water collapses back to normal was tough but I breeze thru."

Me: "You say that, like it's a 'walk through the woods '.

Mitsuki: "And kill homicidal Mismagius'." Saying loud and proud, putting her paws on her hips.

We both giggled at the little joke she made. I returned the favor of washing my back by doing her's. It seems to help the fighting type a lot, cooing in satisfaction. Thanking me for doing that, she leans in and kissed my cheek. My face and yellow fur turned bright red. Unable to process what just happened, I fell over and passed out. "Hope!? Oh no, I killed him…"

: about 10mins passed:

I woke up a bit later only to see the female I was with digging a hole. I tried to get up, stumbling a bit. She must've heard me fall, turning around quickly to see me. The aura-ist in training's face lit up with a huge smile. "Hope!! You're alive! Yaaay And after all that time I took digging your grave."

"I'll put you in that grave." I replied back with some sass. That brought a smirk to blue doggo's face. Laughing at each other. Now we just have a new problem. "What are we gonna do about this hole, Mitsuki?" I asked her, all she did was shrugged. The hole was deep enough to wear only the head of a Riolu and wide enough for Papa Pangoro to lay in. Seems that the prankster got an idea and ran towards the pond. Few minutes later she came back with… with… "IS THAT A GYARADOS!?!" The little pup, who's holding a monster fish, 6x or 7x her size over her head. The blue fish was crying a bit and wimping. (What did she do to the fish to make the poor thing cry.) She commanded the serpent to use Hydro pump at the hole to fill it up. The water type did so, after it was done, it was released back to the pond. Now we have a mini pond instead of a hole that I already fell in a minute ago. Grabbing my paw, we jumped in the water. We played in the water for a long time, splashing, swimming and holding our breath.

After she was done, I suggested we should go to the garden to grab some berries for dinner. Nodding in agreement, we both got out, dried ourselves up and head out. We get to the berry bushes, only to see those nasty bug Pokemon eating our food supply. The pair of bugs are Swaddle and Swadloom. We have seen them before but they only took one or two, but now they have taken too much.

"HEY! Stop right there, Thieves!" The fighting type called out to the insects. They looked back and shot some of that sticky web at us. Mitsuki dodged it, but sadly I didn't and got tied down. The green worms ran East towards the forbidden woods. The aura fighter in-training chased after them. I've tried to yell out to her, come back, but it was no use. She was out of sight and into the woods, home to nasty Bug-type Pokemon. Using Fire Fang to burn away the web, breaking free. (I gotta get help. Mama Lucario needs to know what's going on.) I ran as fast as I could to get help. Hopefully she will be ok till then, who knows what they would do to the young female.

Mitsuki's Pov (Yay, finally my PoV! About time.)

(Evo: no no no, you can't just break the 4th wall in the middle of the story. Ugh Dam prankster.)

I ran as fast as I can to catch these pesky Thieves. We let them slide for too long. Using my quick attack, I caught up to them in no time, blind siding them with Blaze Kick. Finally mastered that move. The work like Pokemon hit a tree, collapsing on the ground. While the other got back up. "Dam it, why are you attacking us? We didn't do anything wrong!"

"Lies! You stole our berries we worked hard on to grow." I replied back, readying another Blaze Kick. The Swadloom tried to get closer and dropped to the ground. Tears started to roll down her face, clearly upset about something. "Please miss, Let us go. Our Father is very sick. He needs these berries." She said out loud in sadness. Her dad is sick? Is that why they stole so much. I have to make sure it isn't a trick but how. These are bug Pokemon and they are known to be creepy for females. Looking over to who I assume is the sibling, trying to get up. I rushed over to it and pinned it down. It let out a male grunt, least I know what this one's gender is. Turning back with the Swaddle in my arms. "Take me to him then. If you try anything funny, I'll hurt him badly." I said to the insect. She nodded in agreement, seems like she's serious. I requested that we leave a trail for me to follow back home. With that, my family and friends should be able to find me. The trail has been marked leading to the entrance and towards the destination. Hope they can find me.

We reach the home of the siblings. Surprisingly, it's not as far back as I thought. I can race back towards home in about 11mins at top speed. Entering the den, home to this family of bugs, I look around the luminated cave. The mushrooms in here are giving off a glow, it's very pretty and blueish. Going a bit deeper, I can see what looks like a food supply that's very low, about 7 berries left and some plants they seem to eat. A mini pool of spring water that's almost dried up, the water from the cave ceiling is dripping water down into it. Guess that's how they get their water. And finally, the father of the two bug Pokemon, A Leavanny, laying on a bed of grass and moss. He looks to be in a lot of pain, maybe he was poisoned or something. What could of happened?

Evo: dam, took way too long to do this chapter. Haven't been able to get any ideas lately. Must be overwhelmed by everything. I was thinking of another book but I'm not sure yet. Could be a good idea to do something new to help with ideas for this. It is gonna be longer to post sadly. But other then that, I hope you enjoyed the chapter, till next time *waves*

Mitsuki: *randomly starts hitting a was with a pickaxe*

Evo:... What are you doing?
