A.N. I have decided to make itachi female in this fic. I also made her and naruto the same age. Also to clear up the timeline a bit, minato has not become hokage yet that may or may not happen in this chapter. I am unsure of the amount of time between minato becoming hokage and the kyuubi attack in the canon storyline, if anyone knows feel free to let me know thanks.

Chapter 1

Underworld- Gremory Household

The Gremory household was currently in disarray with the disappearance of the youngest son, naruto. When told of her brother's fate, Rias locked herself in her room and cried not letting anyone in. Lady Venelana was also a mess as she had failed to save her son and had to watch helplessly as he was sucked into the portal to who knows where. She could only hope that wherever he ended up, he was safe and able to make his way back home- back to her. When he heard of his brother's misfortune, Sirzechs, the current Lucifer, made his way to the mountains where the people of the underworld felt his power spike drastically. It would have been disastrous if not for his maid/wife Grafia.

The elemental nations – konoha 3 months later

It had been three months since naruto had been found and taken in by kushina and minato. Currently he was sitting in the academy as he had mastered the basics and been granted permission to enter by both the hokage and kushina. He was gazing around the classroom and picking out the potential in the room. One thing he discovered was that he had access to his magic and had to use it as a substitute for chakra since he would never have any. He also discovered that he had his evil pieces with him but he decided against using them for now since having members of a peerage now would be counterproductive for him. He looked to his right and saw his friend izumi uchiha who sat beside him. He thought back to how they met.

Flashback

It had been a couple weeks since naruto arrived in this world and currently he was accompanying kushina as she made her way down the street. Helping with the groceries, they bumped into one of kushina's friends, mikoto uchiha who had a young girl with her. "Oh, kushina it's been a while since I've seen you. I hope you're well. Also….oh… who is this? You never told me you had a son this big kushi-chan" said mikoto as she noticed naruto. "Koto-chan! It's been so long. It was just mission after mission but I've gotten a break now. Oh… Izumi chan, look how big you've gotten… pretty soon you'll have to beat the boys away with a stick!" exclaimed kushina as she pinched the cheeks of izumi. "Ah that's right….this is naruto. We recently adopted him as out son. Naru-chan, come introduce yourself." Said kushina while pushing him forward. Giving a small bow, he said " Hello, I am naruto. It's nice to meet you." Accompanied by one of his smiles which made izumi blush slightly and kushina and mikoto to exchange knowing grins. "Ara ara it seems like I have found my son-in-law kushi-chan" said mikoto in a teasing voice to which the redhead nodded and replied "yes and it seems like grandchildren would be soon too" in a teasing way. Both naruto and izumi went red and stuttered in sync "okaa-san/kaa-chan!" leading to both adults to let out a laugh at the two youngsters.

Flashback end

He was brought out of his musings by the teacher going over something else in the class and he refocused his attention in his attempt to learn things.

After the academy was over, he went with izumi to a secluded training ground where they trained for a bit before they headed for their respective homes.

That had become their routine for the past month since entering the academy. He knew that izumi was good enough to already graduate but she stayed because of him as she wanted to be in a team with him.

Their schedule continued for the next year as they trained and refined their skills together. Then came the day where they were both allowed to attempt the graduation exam.

It was morning and naruto awoke with a jump. Today was the day. The day he could finally get out of the academy. It had been a pain to get kushina-kaa chan to agree to let him graduate early. He suspected it had something to do with how izumi was being allowed to graduate because of the uchiha clan and her father, Fugaku.

He got off the bed, went to the bathroom took his shower, brushed his teeth and got dressed. He then went downstairs for breakfast and he saw minato reading the paper while kushina was at the stove making food. As he entered the kitchen, kushina spotted him and called out "good morning naru-chan" "Ah.. good morning kaa-chan" reponded naruto. "Good morning tou-san" he greeted minato who returned the greeting. Kushina then served breakfast after which minato left for a mission he had and kushina decided to stay home today. Naruto pecked his adopted mother on ther cheek as he left for the academy.

He arrived at the academy just before the bell rang and took his usual seat next to izumi. The sensei entered and gave his speech of how two of their students are being allowed to graduate today and that they need to get to another room for their exam.

Leaving the class, naruto and izumi went to their exam room where they saw their instructor awaiting their arrival. He gave them their exam and gave them instructions after which he left them alone. After thirty minutes, they finished and submitted when they were led outside to complete the other portions of the exam.

The weapons portion was easy as they had been training in that for a while. Naruto knew that he would never have chakra so he learnt taijutsu from some uzumaki scrolls that kushina had given to him. He was just about done with the basic katas and would move onto the advanced stuff soon. He was also working on a way to use fuinjutsu using his magic. So far he had no results as this was a secret training that no one knew about.

Returning in the classroom for the ninjutsu part of the exam, he was greeted with the sight of the hokage himself waiting for them. Izumi went first and returned after a moment with a hitae-ate around her forehead. After a while, naruto also exited with his own around his forehead. He was lucky that he was able to find a way to make his magic work for the techniques required to pass the academy or else he would have no doubt failed. He only had those three techniques along with one fire technique that he reverse engineered after seeing izumi perform said jutsu.

Exiting the academy, he saw both kushina and mikoto waiting outside for them. Launching himself at her with a shout of "kaa-chan!" naruto tackled kushina into a hug that she corresponded to. "Look kaa-chan, I passed!" he exclaimed with glee. Giving him one of her signature grins, kushina promptly glomped him and told him how proud of him she was.

They both left the uchihas there as they made their way home.
