thanks for the reviews especially the recent ones it inspired me to write more for this story, I was hesitant on continuing it but I do have plans for this story. Thanks for the support.

When the plane landed in Boston and Jane exited the terminal she was greeted by her brother Tommy and her mother Angela. Her mother greeted her with a huge hug, "Sweetie how was Paris? You have to tell me all about it. I've missed you so much."

"It was pretty cool, where's Pop?"

"Frankie wasn't feeling well so they stayed home," she pulled away looking to Gabriel who was standing next to them. "Oh Gabriel sweetie, it's nice seeing you too."

"My family is making you drive me home, aren't they?" he asked with a frown and she nodded.

"Sorry, but they went out of town and got back late so they weren't able to come get you. You are invited to our house for breakfast if you'd like."

"Ma, can I talk to you for a second?" Jane asked and pulled her to the side before she could respond. "I don't want him over for breakfast, we broke up in Paris and then I had to spend the whole flight home next to him."

"Okay if you'd prefer not to, I'll just give your cell phone to Frankie."

"Wait, you got me a cell phone?" she asked with a smile, remembering Maura's number in her pocket. "Are you bribing me mother?"

"Yes, your teacher called twice and told me you were misbehaving. So you want Gabriel over for breakfast now? You know I feel bad that his family seems to not care about him."

"So this is a punishment then for my bad behavior, I apologized for it even though Joey deserved it. You promise I can have the cell phone, that's an odd exchange you know I mean I guess not so strange for you, you see me with a boy and you gift me things," Jane rolled her eyes and Angela dug out the phone from her purse. Jane's jaw dropped, "An iPhone, how did you and Pop, how could you afford this?" she smiled. "Thank you Ma," she gave her mother a hug before turning to Tommy and Gabriel, "Let's go get some breakfast Gabriel," she linked her arm with his, whispering in his ear. "This breakfast better be worth an iPhone."

"You get to text and call Maura on your own personal phone now, I'm sure it would be worth it."

"You may be onto something," Jane smiled, she couldn't wait to talk to Maura again. After they got into the car and headed home, Jane who was in the backseat with Gabriel, Tommy called shot gun, she put Maura's number in her phone contacts, she wanted to send her something but wasn't sure what yet. And she sort of felt nervous texting with her mother so close by, if Jane moved even one face muscle towards a smile Angela would ask so many questions. Jane decided that she would wait until she was alone.

Once she got into her house and threw her suitcase in her room, she came downstairs, her brothers and Gabriel already eating breakfast and Frank talking to Angela in the corner with hushed tones, which made Jane curious of what they were discussing. Jane came over to give her dad a hug. "Thanks for the cell phone Pop, is everything okay?" she asked noticing some tension between her parents.

"Yeah Janie, everything is fine," he patted her shoulder. "I must be off to work now though, see you kids later," he grabbed his jacket and was out the door.

"Ma, is everything okay with Pop? He seems, tense."

Angela just waved it off, "He's just stressed sweetie, go join your brothers for breakfast, you must be hungry."

"If something was wrong, you'd tell me right?"

"If that was the case you would probably figure it out sooner or later, you always had good attention to details."

"I'll just come out and ask, are you and Pop fighting again?"

"No sweetie, we're not fighting," Angela stopped for a moment. "Please just go eat."

"You can tell me anything Ma, you know that right?" Jane noticed the look of sadness on her mother's face and it broke her heart. "I'll just go join my brothers for breakfast then," Jane huffed and went to sit next to Tommy who whispered something in her ear.

"This guy is a total wank, I'm glad you both broke up."

"Yeah believe me. I am too. He's totally a wank," Jane whispered back and they both laughed. Frankie was about to say something when Jane's phone vibrated, she looked down at a number unknown and she also seen a message from Gabriel it was just a thumbs up emoji. Jane wasn't sure why until she opened the message to the unknown number.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I got this number from someone named Gabriel, and I hope it's the same Gabriel who I met in Paris, which means you are the Jane Rizzoli I met in Paris as well. Unless this isn't Jane Rizzoli I'm sorry and Gabriel is a horrible person for making a joke like this.

If you are said Jane Rizzoli, salutations.

Jane looked up at Gabriel and he grinned at her. You seen Maura's number? she texted him.

-Yeah of course, you weren't texting her so I remembered the number. You're welcome. :)-

You're such a creeper but it was worth it. What the hell does salutations mean?

-It's a greeting, Wilbur.-

Jane glanced at him with a confused look it took her a minute, Oh yeah that Charlotte's Web pig. If anything you're a Wilbur.

-Why are you still texting me for? You have a gorgeous gal wanting to talk to you. Happy sexting ;)-

You're definitely the pig, Jane replied before looking at Maura's message again smiling.

Salutations, this is in fact that Jane Rizzoli. Gabriel noticed I wasn't texting you. He's so damn nosy. I made it safely home and my parents surprised me with a cell phone. An iPhone as a matter of fact.

Jane's phone pinged a few moments later. Paris is a little lonely without you here, we head back to the states tonight. Are you currently free to talk? I'm not too fond of texting whole conversations.

Let me just finish my breakfast. I would love to talk to you some. I get my own personal cell and the most beautiful girl to call mine.

Flattery gets you far babe. I'll talk to you in a little bit. Bye.

Jane tucked her phone away and scarfed down her breakfast jumping out of her chair then rushing outside to the back yard. She ran a hand through her hair before dialing Maura's number.

"Well I wasn't expecting you to be calling me so quickly."

"I exhaled my breakfast for a chance to talk to you," Jane sat down on the back porch swing. "So how is my girl doing?"

"She's doing quite well, thanks for asking. So I wanted it to be a surprise but I don't want to hide it from you much longer. Mother and I are going to visit Boston for a few days, I know it's probably hard for you to make plans to see me, but I just wanted to give you a heads up. I can't seem to get you out of my head, I just hope that maybe you and I could meet up somewhere have another one of those little rendezvous."

Jane smiled warmly at her words, "It would be quite difficult, Ma might be clinging to me a lot she really missed me when I was gone, probably tired of being in a house all full of boys. I would love more than anything to see you again. To kiss you again, just having you close by. I'll find a way to see you, it would be a shame you coming to Boston not seeing the one sight you want to see."

"You are definitely the most beautiful sight in Boston, well the museums are nice too, but I'm not allowed to touch anything there."

"Well you can touch me all you want," Jane paused and laughed. "That sounded dirty, I'm sorry." She heard the door open to the backyard and she paused her words, it was Angela.

"Janie, you have a guest here to see you."

"Who is it Ma? I'm on the phone here."

"Fine I'll just go tell Barry that his friend doesn't want to see him."

"Wait, Barry is back in Boston?" Jane jumped off the swing. "Hey Maura, I have to call you back. Sorry."

"It's fine Jane. Mother wants to go to an early dinner. We can discuss things later, like who this Barry is."

"Yeah of course, bye," Jane hung up the phone and her mother stared at her.

"Who's Maura?"

"A person I met in Paris, she's from upper class New York City. And she's like really fancy," she shoved her phone in her pocket. "So is Barry back in Boston for good?"

"Why don't you just ask me yourself," Barry Frost came out of the Rizzoli house and Jane greeted him with the biggest hug.

"I thought I'd never see you again Barry. It's been like seven years."

"My dad got stationed in Boston. Oh and I should let you know that I go by Frost now, no more Barry. And I got a lot of homeschooling done, so I'm skipping a few grades I get to be a senior now along with you. Tommy was upset when I told him we wouldn't be in the same grade."

"He'll be a freshman this year, so it's not like he won't see you around," Jane turned to her mother who was still there. "You're free to go now Ma."

Angela smiled, "Of course, you guys behave yourselves," she disappeared back into the house.

"I kiss you one time Barry and I swear she thinks I'm into you. I only did it because I was sad you were leaving and I trusted you with that secret... so I've really missed you, I thought about you all the time when you were gone. I have very interesting news, I went on a class trip to Paris and I met someone."

Frost sat down on the swing, "So who is she?" he asked quietly, just in case Angela was listening in. He was aware that Jane had been into girls since she was eleven years old, he was sworn to secrecy. Jane sat down next to Frost and went on about how she met and fell for Maura Isles.

Meanwhile in Paris after they had dinner, Maura and Constance were packing to go back to the states. Maura was already happy she got to talk to Jane, but she was worried about who this Barry was to make her end the phone call. Jane seemed to forget about her the moment Angela mentioned his name. She didn't like assuming things, but it made her sad. Constance noticed and sat down next to her.

"Hey sweetie, what's the matter?" she ran her fingers through Maura's hair.

"My mind is just going places, I'd prefer not to talk about it."

"Are you sure, we can talk you know. You've already opened up to me a lot and I feel like I know you better this trip than I knew you your whole life."

Maura nodded, "I know mother, but it'll be fine. I'm just a little sad my and Jane's phone call didn't last too long."

"I'm sure she was just busy sweetie. Just think we'll be in Boston tomorrow and maybe you can meet up with her, that's the plan right? Visit your father and then go check out that public school, you're absolutely positive you will have a better life in Boston, than in New York?"

"Yeah, and it's not just because of Jane, it's also about you and father. I don't like you being apart for a long amount of time. Plus Boston can be a great place for one of your art galleries and he can be a professor full time."

Constance smiled, "Boston is a very beautiful city with a rich history. I think it'll be a nice adventure, this year is important in your time as a youth, important for you to make your own decisions. You're a very smart girl, and I'm glad that you're my daughter. I am so grateful for you coming into my life, you realize this right?"

"Yeah of course, please don't start crying," Maura pulled away from her mother, noticing her eyes glistening with tears.

"I'm just so proud of you and after this year you get to do your own thing, be your own person. My job as a mom is almost over."

"That's not true, you'll always be my mother, and a mother's job is never done. The outside world is a scary place and contrary to your beliefs I'm always going to need you," Maura reassured her mother with a smile.

"You don't know how happy it makes me feel to hear that Maura," Constance pulled her into a side hug. "You'll always be my little girl."
