Sorry for the delay in this story my muse comes and goes in spurts with this story. Also sorry for the short chapters.
Jane woke up the next morning, she couldn't believe what happened last night. That she actually did what she did, she got off to the thought of Maura. It felt odd but amazing at the same time, in fact thinking about it right now, she decided she had time this morning to do another try. She wanted to seem like she knew what she was doing if Maura and her actually got far or would Jane's nerves get the best of her.
Jane gave her head a shake and her fingers slipped into her underwear, this made her feel good and the aftermath she felt very relaxed and calm. She didn't get far this time when there was a knock on her bedroom door, she jumped up, fixing her appearance before going to open the door. "Barry, what the hell are you doing here?"
"I'm here to take you to school. You weren't answering your phone, so your mother let me in. Were you exercising or something, you seem kind of... flushed..." Frost shifted on his feet.
"You startled me, that's all it was. I'll be down in a couple of minutes, let me just get changed."
"Alright, I'll be downstairs, don't take too long now, my father isn't the most patient man," Frost nodded, and turned to walk away.
Jane groaned and closed her door to get ready for school. She was down moments later and her and Frost went to school. Jane's anxiety built up, she knew she'd be running into Maura today how could she face her after what she did last night and tried to do this morning. Would she be able to think about anything else? She sighed, leaning her head against the window.
She stepped out of the car with Frost once they arrived at school, Maura was sitting on a bench, smiling as she waved Jane over.
"Hey Barry, I'm going to go over to see Maura, since I only see her at the end of the day. Are you going to be alright?"
"Jane," he patted her shoulder. "I can handle being away from you, I did it for years once I moved, remember?"
"Yeah of course," Jane kissed his cheek. "You're the best Frost," she rushed over to sit down next to Maura. "Hey."
"Good morning Jane," Maura looked around before kissing Jane on the corner of her mouth. "We still on for tonight, you didn't change your mind or anything, did you?"
Jane bit her bottom lip, and shook her head, "Nope, why would I change my mind at my chance to be alone with my lovely girlfriend? I actually couldn't stop thinking about it."
"Oh, is that so?"
"Guilty as charged," she rested her hand on Maura's thigh, seeing Maura somehow made her nerves calm down. Maura had an amazing effect on her, it felt pretty magical. "I thought so hard about it, thought about you and me, how amazing it could be."
Maura felt her cheeks flush, especially as Jane's hand slid up her skirt, "Um Jane, your hand..." she mentioned, Jane's cheeks flushed as she pulled her hand away.
"I'm so sorry Maura... that was so embarrassing."
The blonde shrugged, "It was kind of hot, but this really isn't the place or time."
"I know," Jane got up from the bench, "I should get to homeroom, can't be late if I want to stay on the baseball team," she kissed Maura's cheek before disappearing into the school. She accidentally ran into Gabriel Dean, knocking his school books out of his hands.
"Geez Jane, you in a rush or something?"
"Gabriel, I'm so sorry, my mind was elsewhere."
"Any way I can help you out?" Gabriel wiggled his eyebrows, causing Jane to shove him.
"No perv. So how's shit with Joey? He still treating you like a bitch?"
Gabriel frowned, "No actually, I told him off yesterday, hence my blackened eye that you didn't seem to notice. I heard what happened in gym class, he's such a prick."
"You don't have to stick up for me Gabriel, I can handle it on my own. Sorry you got your face bashed in, but I mean we both know Joey and his temper, just as bad as mine. At least you got out when you did. You did cut him off right?"
"Yes I did, I stuck up for myself, I sort of have you to thank, so thank you," he rested his hand on Jane's shoulder.
"You're welcome, I guess," she shrugged off his hand, spotting Joey staring at them looking pissed. "Aw poor Joey upset Gabriel dumped your ass?"
"I'm not queer like you Rizzoli, I have no reason to be upset with that shit head. Get going when things get tough, you're such a pussy sometimes Gabriel," Joey shoved past him muttering bitch under his breath.
"He's a shit Gabriel, forget him."
"I already have, thanks Rizzoli," he leaned up to kiss her on the cheek, Jane grabbed him by the wrist.
"Whatever you are thinking, don't. I'm with Maura and I'm really happy with her. I won't have you messing things up for me, because you can't keep your mouth to yourself."
"Jane, I'm sorry. I still care about you, you know that right?" Gabriel sighed, hearing the bell ring, he brushed past Jane, his hand lightly running against her arm.
"This is what I get for trying to be nice," Jane rolled her eyes and got to homeroom. She sat down in her seat next to Bridgett, she was texting someone on her phone looking giddy. "What's gotten you into a good mood?"
"You remember Garrett Fairfield?"
"How could I forget my girlfriend's fancy ass ex?"
"Well we got into talking he's really sweet and loaded and hot. Did you know he has a six pack of abs? He's actually coming down to Boston this weekend."
Jane frowned, "He is? Why?"
"He's Garrett Fairfield, he can do whatever he wants, literally. You're not scared he's going to try and get Maura back, are you? He really likes me, and it won't be a problem, plus I have plans for him and I, if you catch my drift."
"Vomit, just be careful don't get yourself into trouble."
"Now why would I do that? Class is about to start, we should probably focus on that now."
"Sure Bridgett," Jane shook her head, leaning back in her chair.
The rest of the day went without a hitch, Jane had been waiting all day to see Maura again, gym class went well, Joey kept his distance and now Frost was on look out duty again until his father came to pick him and Jane up.
"So, I'm going to go home first, get into some fresh clothes and be on my way to see you, and get our study on," Jane spoke as she planted kisses on Maura's jaw and neck. "Amongst other things," she smiled, nipping gently at Maura's collarbone.
"Mhm, what kind of other things?"
"I think you're smart enough to figure it out," Jane chuckled against her skin, her finger running up Maura's inner thigh, before letting her hand give it a squeeze. Jane pulled back, looking at Maura with a strong look of lust and arousal. Maura took notice and it made her weak in the knees.
"I wish you could take me right now."
"Oh is that so?" Jane nuzzled her nose against Maura's. "I get you turned on, don't you?"
Maura nodded, biting her bottom lip, "Insanely so. It's incredible actually. I feel more alive when I'm with you, if that makes sense."
Jane laughed, "That makes perfect sense," she lowered her mouth down onto Maura's, fingers tugging in her hair, her tongue brushing past Maura's lips. Groaning in delight as Maura rolled her hips down against Jane's. "Shit..." Jane pushed Maura back, shaking her head. "I um..."
"Jane! Father is here now," Frost shouted towards his friend.
"I'll see you later Maura, okay?"
"But Jane..." Maura frowned, not knowing what just happened.
"Later," she kissed her cheek, and rushed over towards her friend Barry, turning to glance back at Maura for a moment before continuing to walk. "Frost, I'm so fuckin' screwed."
"What your lips dry from all that kissing you two like to do?"
"Not exactly," Jane huffed. "I sort of got really turned on... if you catch my drift."
"Wait, you mean?" he seen Jane's cheeks flush and knew the answer.
"What the hell am I supposed to do if it happens that fast the next time? Maura is going to think I have no control."
"It happens to the best of us Jane..."
"You mean... it's happened to you, when?" she asked, and it was his cheeks that heated up.
"I really don't want to discuss it, it's sort of a private thing to discuss, no matter how close of friends we are," Frost shook his head stopping the conversation as they got inside Admiral Frost's car. The car ride was silent, Jane tried to figure out who Frost was talking about.
"You kids are pretty quiet today," Admiral Frost looked at the two.
"Just a lot of schoolwork on my mind sir, and thinking about baseball, kind of nervous about being a part of the team. I have hardly any sport talent."
"Oh come on Frost, you were incredible yesterday, you'll do great things," Jane reassured Frost.
"It's not much fun when you won't be allowed on the team for a while. I joined because I wanted to be teammates, but I guess those dreams are shot."
"Barold, you're going to do just fine there. I'm proud of you for getting into sports," Admiral Frost admitted, causing Frost to smile. His father never complimented him much, it was a nice feeling. Jane patted her friend's leg in reassurance.
Soon Admiral Frost pulled up to Jane's house, Jane couldn't help but notice that her father's car was gone, but there was another car in the driveway, a car that she knew belonged to Coach Korsak.
"Jane, what is Coach's car doing at your house?" Frost glanced out the window in concern.
"I-I'm not sure, maybe he's here to talk to me about coming back on the team," Jane shrugged. "I'll let you know, see you tomorrow morning, I'll make sure to answer the phone next time. Thanks again Admiral for picking me up." She got out of the car and slung her backpack over her shoulder. She walked slowly up the driveway and onto the porch, she turned around and Frost's car was already gone.
Jane didn't know what she was going to walk into, her parents have both been secretive and seemed tense. She knew their marriage was having trouble, she just wished it wouldn't happen to her family. She went to go open the door and frowned at what she saw, her mother and Coach Korsak was in an intimate looking embrace. "Ma! What the hell are you doing?"
The two adults both pulled away, Angela looked upset. "Janie, it's not what it looks like."
"Seriously, because it looks like you're making out with my baseball Coach!" Jane shouted, crossing her arms. "What about Pop?"
"Jane," Korsak shook his head, trying to rest his hand on her shoulder to calm her down. "Don't make her say it..."
"No Vince, it's okay," Angela sighed. "Your father has been having an affair... for months. I found out when you went off to Paris. It's what I've been holding off on telling you. But today your father gave me divorce papers, then he packed a few things and left."
"So Pop leaves and you kiss him not even hours later?" Jane shook her head, "This is bullshit."
"Your mother was upset and I kissed her actually," Korsak admitted. "We got a little carried away I admit. But I've been through this three times, my wives leaving me. Abandoning me for someone better."
"I don't want to hear it, you took advantage of my mother when she's upset, I thought you were a good guy Coach Korsak, but you're just as bad as everyone else."
"Janie..." Angela looked at her daughter in concern.
"Don't Janie me Ma, I'm out of here," Jane snatched her backpack from off of the ground and stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind her.
"I think I should go," Korsak told Angela who just nodded, she didn't know what else to say.
Jane walked down the sidewalk, tears in her eyes as she stomped on the ground. How could people do this to each other, be in love and then just do things with other people, abandon the people they claim to love. Jane shook her head and continued walking, not caring how long it took to get to Maura's house by foot. She had a lot going through her mind now. What was she supposed to do now?
