Maura meets Jane's family this chapter, let's see how that goes, shall we? Enjoy!

Once Maura and Jane got out of the car and Admiral Frost drove away the girls walked up the driveway and onto the porch, where Jane made no move to open the front door.

"Jane, what's wrong?" Maura asked, looking at her girlfriend.

"I just... are you sure about this? Meeting my family... meeting my mother?" Jane held onto Maura's hands. "We can always reschedule and go do something else."

"Jane, you met my parents, I'd really like to meet your family, I never had siblings before so I'm kind of interested in how that goes."

Jane groaned, "Okay, but just stay on the porch for a moment, alright?" she asked before going inside the house, dropping her backpack by the door.

Angela had come out of the kitchen, an apron on, weaing oven mitts, "Hey Janie, where's Maura?"

"I-I left her on the porch for a moment, I wanted to talk to you and tell you to not talk about anything embarassing, I really like her and hope that she will still like me after this dinner. It was bad enough that one time Gabriel came over as my boyfriend, during the whole relationship he tried to avoid coming in the house."

"Janie, things are much different now, please bring her inside, I'd really like to meet her."

"Wait one more moment, where's Frankie and Tommy?"

"They're watching television, you know how they're no help with dinner," Angela shook her head getting back to dinner.

Jane nodded, heading into the living room, going to stand in front of the television.

"Hey Janie, what gives?" they both shouted at the same time.

"I wanted to talk to the both of you okay? There's this person coming to dinner and she means a lot to me. I want you to both behave yourselves."

"Okay that's great, can you move now?" Tommy asked, trying to shoo her away.

"No this is serious," Jane crossed her arms. "I'm trying to tell you guys something."

"You're a dyke, yeah we get it," Tommy shrugged and Frankie's jaw dropped, he seen Jane give Tommy a death glare and ball her fists.

"Jane, he, he didn't mean it... that's just... Joey Grant mentioned it... Tommy didn't even know what that word was..." Frankie got up to try and hold Jane back from beating up their idiot brother. He failed as Jane pushed Frankie aside and she launched herself at Tommy, grabbing him by the collar.

"Don't you ever use that language around me, got it? I don't care where you hear shit from... never call me a dyke again or I swear to God..."

"Jane Clementine Rizzoli! Let go of Tommy this instant," Angela came into the room, shouting at her daughter.

Jane gave Tommy a shove and got off of him, "He called me a dyke Ma, that's unacceptable."

Angela nodded, resting her hands on Jane's shoulder, "I know it is and I plan to have a long talk with Tommy after dinner," she looked at her son who shrunk down onto the couch. "Now why don't you bring Maura inside? She's going to think you've abandoned her."

Jane nodded, almost forgetting she left her girlfriend on the porch. She went outside and Maura looked up from her phone. "I'm sorry Maura, I was gone longer than I planned... it's just that I tried to talk to my brothers and stupid Joey Grant told them I was a dyke and Tommy decided that word was okay to use."

"Yeah I figured something was up, I heard your mother shouting your name, she's kind of loud, isn't she?"

"Yep that's my mother for you, you sure you want to come inside?"

Maura reached out to grab Jane's hand, squeezing her fingers, "I'm positive. Plus I'm getting pretty hungry."

"Yeah me too," Jane smiled, kissing Maura softly before they headed inside. The moment they walked inside Angela was standing there and she looked at Maura.

"Hi Mrs. Rizzoli."

Angela didn't say anything but she pulled Maura into a hug, "It's so nice to meet you Maura. You're much cuter than Jane made you out to be."

"Ma!" Jane pouted. Maura find it quite amusing but she was glad when Angela let her go. "I told her not to embarrass me."

"Jane it's okay, it's kind of nice, being greeted with hugs," she shrugged it off. "What are you cooking, it smells delicious."

"Why don't I show you?"

"Ma, you'll show her when dinner is ready, I need help with some homework some Shakespeare junk," Jane grabbed her bag.

"Okay, but dinner will be ready in about ten minutes."

"We'll come right down then," Jane grabbed Maura by the arm and they went upstairs and into her room where she dropped her bag and closed the door.

"Nice room," Maura smiled. "That's a lot of trophies that you have, and their of the sport kind. I have all these science rewards, I won every science fair I attended."

"Why doesn't that surprise me?" Jane chuckled. "My girlfriend the genius."

"So did you need help with your homework? Shakespeare is sort of hard to understand sometimes."

Jane shook her head, "I didn't bring you up to my room for homework purposes, if you catch my drift," she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Oh. Oh!" Maura blushed and nodded. "Why did I expect anything less from you? You do realize there's not much we can accomplish in ten minutes. And we really shouldn't start anything that we can't finish... and I really don't know why I'm trying to delay the time we do have..." Maura wrapped her arms around Jane's neck, pulling her close, nipping gently at her lips. Jane groaned gently walking Maura backwards as they fell onto her bed.

The kiss deepened, Jane's hand sliding up her shirt causing Maura to pull away.

"Um Jane maybe we should keep our hands over our clothing..."

"Okay yeah sure, sorry... you're just really hot," Jane bit her bottom lip.

"And your hand there would drive me crazy and we really don't have the time."

"I know, can I do this though?" Jane asked, going to plant kisses along Maura's neck, Maura close her eyes and nodded.

"Yeah, maybe you can roll your hips against mine," she suggested and Jane grinned, don't just that. Their bodies moved together until Maura's hips thrusted forward, within seconds she could feel herself come undone as she whimpered. "I well... that never happened before."

"Did you just..." Jane looked down at her girlfriend who blushed.

"Yeah," Maura shifted slightly to move away from Jane.

"That was pretty quick. I mean I know the other day I did but wow I felt awkward when it happened to me... how did it feel for you?"

"I really liked it, how just a few thrust of your hips against mine. Imagine what could happen when we, you know." Maura's cheeks got even redder.

"Yeah, that's going to be amazing, when that time comes."

"It might come sooner than you think," Maura licked her lips and Jane grinned.

"Just like you did right now."

"Oh shut up," Maura laughed, giving her a nudge before they heard Angela shout their names a

and that it was time for dinner.

They went downstairs and went to sit at the table, as the boys, by the order of their mother helped put the food on the table.

Dinner was pretty quiet, Jane's brother Tommy was silent avoiding eye contact with Jane, Frankie was eating his dinner in peace and Angela was making small talk with Maura. Jane's mind was elsewhere, she couldn't stop thinking about Frost and she felt bad for being mad, Frost was going through shit and she didn't want to hear it.

She was going to fix it, she had to let Frost know that she was there for him.

"Okay, who's ready for dessert?" Angela asked and the boys perked up, going to clear the table they knew their mother gave them more dessert when they cleaned up the dinner mess. "I swear those boys are only helpful when they're getting dessert," Angela shook her head.

"Dinner was devine Angela, I never had a home-cooked meal like this before," Maura complimented and during dinner Angela insisted that Maura call her Angela, that Mrs. Rizzoli reminded her of her husband who left them. Maura decided to try it but would prefer to call her Mrs. Rizzoli, but she wanted to respect Jane's mother.

"Do you want ice cream with the cake slice Maura?" Tommy asked her, speaking for the first time this evening.

"Yeah, I don't mind, thanks." Maura smiled and Tommy grinned.

Dessert was going well, Tommy decided to ask Maura about her hobbies, which he found very interesting. Jane groaned, was her brother really trying to flirt with her girlfriend. She kicked him lightly underneath the table, causing him to stop talking and enjoy the rest of his ice cream and cake.

The kids were almost done with their desserts when they heard the front door open, and their father's voice, "Ang, kids... I'm home..." Frankie and Tommy both got up from the table going to give their father a hug. "Hey now this is a greeting I've missed."

Jane frowned as Angela pushed herself up from the table. "Frank, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Coming home to my family, of course..."

"After you abandoned us, giving me those divorce papers?"

"This is still my house, by law I'm allowed to be here."

"Like hell you are..."

Jane was in the dining room, getting up from the table. "I-I'm going to take you home Maura..." she grabbed her girlfriend by the hand.

"Janie, is that you?" Frank asked as he entered the room. "Why don't you want to greet your father?"

"You abandoned Ma."

"I knew it, I knew she would turn you against me. Why can't you be like your brothers? They have their own minds and doesn't let one parent influence them to make up their mind."

"You're drunk... and you shouldn't even be here."

"It's my house Janie."

"Yeah and you can just come and go as you please, it's bullshit."

"Janie, come on," he reached up to grab her arm and she slapped it away.

"Don't touch me. Don't you dare try to touch me."

Frank frowned, "Who's your friend? I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself," he stuck out his hand and Maura just stared at him. "I'm Frank Rizzoli, you must be a friend of Janie's. She doesn't have many friends you know."

"I'm Maura Isles and your daughter was going to make sure I get home safely. I should get going before my parents get worried. You have a lovely home." She complimented and Frank smiled.

"Why thank you, since you're friends with my Janie maybe you can teach her some manners."

"She's doing a pretty good job to people who are deserving of manners. You have a good evening sir."

Jane and Maura left the house after Maura thanked Angela for an amazing dinner and dessert. They got out on the porch. "I'm sorry Maura, I'm so sorry my father decided to show up and be drunk."

"Jane, it's not your fault, are you sure they'll be okay with him here?"

"He wouldn't hurt anyone physically, plus he'll pass out on the couch soon enough. Let's get you home."

Yep, drunk Frank made his appearance he irks my nerves. Maura handled herself well, and Tommy listening to Joey Grant. Hope it was worth the wait.
