Hello Lovelies here the next chapter to AWA hope you enjoy it.

and sorry for such short chaps, but they will most likely get longer as the story develops.

Enjoy! :3

It all seemed too silent for Kevin, and he wasn't sure if it was figuratively or literally. Sure the halls were crowded with loud students, and the streets filled with bustling cars. Yet everything seemed to be on mute for him. He saw mouths moving but no voices, he saw cars drive by, but only the breeze brushed against his pale skin. There had been a certain scandalous situation that had been kept silent for too long to be comfortable.

And it made it all seemed far too quiet.

Was it his paranoia? He was always on edge, but now he seemed even more uneasy and filled with more anxiety. Why? There was absolutely nothing to fear because the troublesome matter had gone. Gone for days now, and it was far too long than usual. But, wasn't it better this way he asked himself, maybe the torture was finally over.

Maybe it was finally the end.

No, it wasn't the end. It couldn't be, it wasn't just that simple and Kevin knew it. I seemed too good to be true. But what was the point of completely avoiding him? Were his tyrants planning something, something possibly far worse than what they have done? The idea of something worse to come only sparked another surge of panic in him once again.

"KEVIN"

He wiped his head around quickly looking at the source of the voice. With his eyes opened wide he realized it was his best friend Nazz.

"Dude, I've been trying to get your attention for the past 5 minutes" she stared at him curiously "lunch is almost over and you haven't touched your food, what's up?"

"Nothing really...just get caught up in the clouds is all" Kevin sheepishly looked down at his shaking freckled hands.

"Thinking about what?" She leaned in closer trying to get him to explain.

"Um...stuff" he shifted uncomfortably in his seat he said avoiding her concerned eyes. He looked around the lunch room watching kids laughing and chatting away. How nice it must be to be so carefree.

"Stuff again..." She sighed sitting back in her seat and crossing her arms over her chest in a pout "lately you haven't been talking much too me Kev, I'm worried about you and all you say is stuff"

"I'm sorry, it's really isn't anything to be worried about 'K?" Kevin weakley smiled at her, and extended his arms to offer a hug.

"Alright then, if you say so" she tightly held on to her best friend as he embraced her trying to comfort her. "Hey, I have to stay behind to tutor this one guy from my Literature class after school, so you can go home without me alright?"

"Ok then, just call me when you get home" he said parting slightly from her.

"I always do!" She smiled up at him.

"Alright then see you tomorrow, and take a bite of your lunch at least" She stood up waved goodbye dashing towards her next class as the bells rang. Kevin smiled slumped onto the table staring down at his forgotten food. With a sigh he threw it away and slowly made his way to his own classroom.

...

Again the day ended without a slight sign of anything. Kevin walked along the streets staring off into nothing. Maybe it would be a good idea to walk around town, just to get out of the usual habit. The J's had been tamed this past week meaning he would be fine out in the public eye. He smiled slightly thinking of where he should roam. Maybe he would take his motorcycle out for a ride later that evening.

He had spent most of his day just hanging out at the park close to their school doodling away in his sketchbook. By now the streets were empty, and it was nearing evening time. The sky started to get a hint of orange and purples in the sky from the sun starting to set. The air dropping in temperature gave him shivers.

Ending the last piece of shading in his sketchbook, he stood up wanting to catch the full scenery of the sun setting. He ran towards the bridge on the west side knowing it was the perfect spot to see the scenery. His dad used to take him there in the summertime when he was younger to see the fireworks of the fourth. He loved watching the fireworks from that spot, the lights would reflect onto lake. Maybe he would draw the setting sun and try to capture the magical imagery.

He ran as fast as he could towards the sight keeping his eyes on the setting sun. He couldn't, no wouldn't miss the chance of a perfect scene.

He felt his lungs being to tighten from the exertion. His thin legs beginning to weaken but he was almost there.

Panting hard, hands sweaty and heartbeat throbbing in his chest. Kevin suddenly stopped. The setting sun was absolutely gorgeous. Almost breathtaking.

Yet his eyes weren't focused on the scene. They were on a dark figure in the middle of it all.

The figure stood facing the scenery of the sun. Kevin came to realize that the man stood on the other side of the railing on the bridge, fingers lightly holding on.

He was going to jump.
