The boy's vision was blurry.
He could barely see where his feet were taking him but somehow he managed to wander into his parent's bedroom. Everything was where it had always been as seeing the room as clean as ever only caused him to choke up all over again. He let out a sob falling onto his knees no longer having any more energy. He watched drops of red liquid fall onto the wooden floor, and with a shaky hand wiped it clean.
They wouldn't be happy to come home to find the floor stained.
Standing back up he limped into their huge bathroom where he knew he would find what he was looking for. His head was hurting, his cheeks were swollen and badly stung, and he had scrapes all over his legs. He had pulled out small shards of glass out but it all hurt too much for him to take. It hurt so fucking much.
Yet, he knew his parents would make it all better soon enough.
They were doctors.
He opened their cabinet full of medication he knew they had and started looking through each bottle. One of these would do the trick, he just needed it to be strong enough to take the pain away. After a long moment of picking up small bottles he finally found one that seemed good enough. He'd seen his mother take this pill several times. At least he thought it was this one.
The bottle said it was a pain killer, so he took it in his small shaky blood stained hand and slipped it into his dry mouth. He reached to the sink to grab water in his palms and drank from it. The cool water felt refreshing on his chapped cut lips.
Carefully, he placed the bottle back and limped out of the room heading back to his own. As he passed by he shielded his eyesight from the horrid dark room across his parents bedroom. He didn't want to think about it. It all been a nightmare.
He closed the door to his bedroom and slid down not caring about the blood he had trailed all over to his room. It was all so silent and cold and everything just hurt. He felt so alone. More tears flooded his eyes at the realization that he was actually alone in this big house. His mother and father weren't coming back. He had seen the last of them.
He was alone.
It didn't take long for him to start laughing. The boy's body fell on to the floor with a smile on his face. The pain had finally subsided and he felt light as a feather. His breathing had calmed down and everything just seemed to stop. Maybe he would finally wake up from his nightmare.
He was glad that the Fentanyl pill had done the trick.

It's was not ok, nothing was ok. Oh god everything was terrible, he was not ok, and THIS was not ok. His mind screamed as the ginger stared up at familiar dim blue orbs glaring down at him.
"Don't move too much you imprudent worm" Eddward's icy low voice rang through his freckled ears. There was still so much ache but he noticed that part of it had to do with the fact that the tall boy sat pressed close to his side. His terrified green eyes followed down Eddward's long arm and realized that his hand lay on top of his stomach pinning him down with a death grip. There were band-aids all over his bare chest, terror creeping up his mind from the cold touch of Eddward's fingers.
Kevin's eyes then dared wander around noticing he was lying on a light cream colored couch. There were plain white tall walls surrounding them, a carpet, and coffee table. He recognized he was in the living room, more specifically in a home although most certainly not his own. Looking out the two tall windows across from them he could tell it was twilight although the long white curtains obscured the outside. He also noticed that there were but two tall lamps on opposite sides of the room illuminating the space. If he looked behind Eddward he could see an archway leading into a dark hallway. He wondered if his escape would be met through there.
Was this the inside of Eddward's house? The ginger hesitantly looked back up to meet his bully's glaring eyes, confusion showing in his own olive ones. "I brought you here after my reckless buffoons left you nearly immobile. We could not have that could we?" The raven haired boy looked down to his hand that was on top of a forming bruise on the ginger's rib cage. He took a long pause observing how bony and frail the smaller teen was. Under his touch he could feel almost every bone in his skeleton. The smaller boy's skin so heavily freckled yet so ill looking. With a frown Eddward slightly pressed down on the boy's nasty bruise.
"I-Is this you're h-hou—AH" Kevin squeaked closing his eyes tightly. His hands flying down to grab Eddward's unmerciful one. "Please don't, it hurts…" he weakly pleaded panting and tearing up from the pain.
Unemotionally, the raven haired teen stared down at the boy's scrunched up face "Have you had enough already?" Eddward slightly lessened his pressure on Kevin's chest feeling the smaller boy's trembling hands. He lazily looked from his hand and followed a trail of caramel colored freckled up the boy's chest to his thin neck and up to fearful green eyes.
"W-what do you mean?" Kevin gasped out trying not to yelp in pain. His hand desperately holding on to Eddward's hand trying to take it off the bruise. He hated how cruel the bully could be for no damn reason.
Eddward then pressed down slightly again impatient for a response from the ginger boy. "Are you willing to forget now, because I hope you know next time I won't be so kind" he let his hand finally come to a rest.
Kevin slowly gasped continuing to grip the bully's hand "I...I hope you know...I'm not drop...ing it." He sighed in relief when he felt the pain begin to subside.
The raven haired boy let out an irritated breath "You are an annoyance… Tell your parents you will be staying over with Nazz, before they wonder where you are" he stood to grab Kevin's backpack and threw it next to the boy. Kevin looked up at Eddward in even more confusion and curiosity. "You clearly can not move you imbecile" he replied with impatience to the ginger's expression.
"R-Right…Kevin sat up slightly wincing as pain shot through his chest, and reached to grab his cell phone. He never kept it on him for fear of it being broken during one of his encounters with the gang. He searched through his messages as a way to distract himself for a second as anxiety began to take over his mind, and he began to fear that Eddward would end him right there and then. Was the guy really capable of murder? He hoped not. Kevin took a quick peek to Eddward who would not stop glaring down at him.
Quickly the ginger sent his father a text telling him that Nazz had insisted on their usual study sleep overs. He hesitantly looked back up watching that the bully had turned away from him "Okay…" he awkwardly spoke out, lying back down and looking at his chest counting how many wounds and scars he had, just to have something to occupy his mind from his fear. "Um…what about your parents?" He asked realizing it should be around time for them to be home.
Eddward glanced back to see the ginger's distress, his olive eyes and mind clearly engaged on thoughts of his wounded chest. Eddward then scoffed at the question the boy asked and looked back through his window answering indifferently "They won't be coming".
Kevin raised his eyes to see Eddward be illuminated by the moonlight, he figured it was still early but the moon shone bright nevertheless. His curious eyes roamed over the bully's figure realizing how slim the teen truly was. Kevin took note only now that the bully wasn't wearing his usual black jacket and instead revealed his usual blood red long sleeved shirt. Although Vincent wasn't completely thin he did have defined muscles, it was clear on his broad shoulders and biceps. Kevin figured it was from being a competitive swimmer, Eddward wasn't known as the king of sharks for nothing "…are they on a business trip or something?" he asked wanting to get his ever growing anxiety out of his mind. As the ginger continued to stare he noticed the boy continued to wear his black striped beanie in his own home, was it because he was there? This note only brought him more curiosity about his bully.
Eddward turned his attention back to Kevin as he heard the ginger's phone beep from a notification. "Something like that" he caught the boys observant emerald eyes. He could tell there was much curiosity in them…he'd have to change that. "What does it say" he demanded crossing his arms.
"Oh uh…" the ginger quickly looked back down at his phone seeing his father reply in his usual teasing tone. His freckled face blushed from his father ridiculous assumptions once again he stuttered out "U-Um, e-everything's fine…" he quickly typed a reply and tried to hide his phone from sight.
The boy was hiding something and Eddward knew it. In a couple of steps he was standing over Kevin trying to snatch the phone away. "You're lying, let me see" he bent down with his knee overlapping Kevin's.
The sudden weight on top of him made him whimper in ache "NO! n-no it's nothing I-I swear" he pushed his phone underneath him.
Eddward could tell the boy was in pain but was clearly holding it in so he grabbed Kevin's neck choking him "What did you say Barr!".
"NOT...HING! I-I didn't say... anything" he gasped his voice quivering now "J-Just...what you told me to s-say" The ginger coughed out finally releasing his phone in order to grab Eddward's hand in an attempt to get him to let loose, terrified he might actually choke him to death. The embarrassment wasn't worth dying over.
Rapidly with his free hand Eddward grabbed the phone from underneath the boy's arched back and quickly read through the messages keeping his other hand and knee on Kevin.
[You better use condoms boy, you hear me!]
Pft… Eddward chuckled out darkly looking back down at the pathetic boy underneath him "As if you would have the balls to fuck a girl you petty minnow" he dropped the phone back on the couch and let go of Kevin's neck standing up again.
Gasping for air Kevin sat up as once again feeling pain blast through him. He groaned holding his chest "I...I told you it was nothing" He breathed out angrily. Kevin placed his phone back inside of his backpack and stared after Eddward who sat in a seat across from him. The ginger boy's face still cherry red face from both the embarrassment and the choking "Do you think that uh…I'll be better tomorrow?" he asked desperately wanting to just go home.
Eddward leaned back on the seat staring out the window again "Most likely…" was all he said before he rubbed at his temple. After a couple of minutes of awkward silence Eddward stood up and made his way down the archway turning off one of the lamps and then disappeared through the hallway.
Kevin slight sat up more staring at the darkness of the hallway the boy had disappeared through wondering if he was coming back. But, he soon heard footsteps make their way up a flight a stairs and then a moment later door close. He looked around for his shirt and sweater but found neither. Just his hat and glasses lay on the coffee table. Kevin then noticed a chocolate brown blanket laid over the edge of the couch. The boy hesitantly grabbed the blanket and covered himself feeling terribly cold. He then laid back down and only then did Kevin realized he had been resting on a small white pillow, huh how did he not notice that before? ...Right he was scared shitless.
The rest of the night he could barely sleep, questions, questions, so many questions brewing up in his mind. As well as fear, he would be crazy to let his guard down in the presence of Eddward Vincent, especially in his own territory. Everything was just so dark, even with the soft light from one of the lamps brightening half of the room, the atmosphere still felt oddly…somber.
Eddward had had the chance to kill him, while he was found unconscious, so why hadn't he taken the opportunity? Odd, it was very odd. Maybe he was exaggerating and the guy wouldn't actually go to such lengths…right? Kevin let his worn-out body get enveloped in the warmth of the thick blanket and the comfort of the soft pillow. Both having the same scent that had lulled him earlier, a faint smell of cigarettes and chlorine. Not long after, many hours into the night he once again had fallen asleep.
