Miroku's fist clenched around his staff, he narrowed his eyes and cleared his throat. " I'll ask you again. Please remove your hand, do not make me ask you a third time. "

Koga snickered " or what? You gonna suck me up in that blasted cursed hand of yours ...oh wait you CAN'T. Cause you don't have it anymore. Did you forget monk I was there too when Naraku got slayed. Psh go try those empty threats on someone other then me."

Miroku glared.

Koga raised a brow not bothered by his attempt to be intimidating.

He rose Kagome's hand up to his lips and smirked. " What do you say Kagome?. Wanna leave this joint and come with me? Your dog boy obviously isn't anywhere around."

She narrowed her eyes discussed " I think you overstayed your welcome Koga, you and I both know here is were I'm meant to be. By his side"

A darkness overshadowed his eyes. " And yet he isn't by yours. Ironic isn't it"

He pulled her arm in, crashing her to his chest. She gasped out in shock, His arms wrapped tightly around her, eyes dangerously piercing the monk and slayer.

Koga's eyes were hooded.

Miroku shook his head and gripped his staff in both fist he strolled over threw it back and then once the connection of his staff slammed into the flesh of his face Koga growled.

" I don't need my wind tunnle to handle the likes of you. Inuyasha may be absent but Kagome is not alone, and when his gone it's our duty to keep her safe. And from what I can see Koga she isn't safe with you. LET HER GO,"

Kagome closed her eyes fear stricken. His hold on her was so tight that she could barley breath. His arms flexed and tightened, she gasped out for breath.

A red welt formed on his left cheek. But the impact did very little, in fact it made the situation worse.

He ignored the slayer's useless threats he pulled kagome's head up exposing her neck. His hands fisted tight in her hair. He took his nose and inhaled her scent. A shiver of need overwhelmed him his eyes flashed a bit. He placed his mouth at the base of her neck and licked the spot where her collarbone and neck met.

His fangs ached to taste her flesh, to merge his blood with hers.

Kagome pleaded for him to stop, to let her go, her tears went unnoticed, her pleas left unheard. Her fear only spiked his interest.

Miroku did what he could, he used his spiritual powers and sutras to try and weaken him enough to loosen his hold but nothing seemed to work. Sango didn't know what to do.

Sango ran and jumped in the air. Miroku knew what she was gonna do " try and be careful Sango remember he has Kagome. "

She cursed under her breath and landed a few meters in front of them. Her Hiraikotsu laid out ready to slay

Koga through back his head and laughed. " Imbeciles, you stay their little worms. While I finish what I came here to do!" his voice was laced with venom. He gripped her head and yanked it back up causing her to gasp. He leaned down, mouth watering in anticipation. Kagome screwed her eyes shut screaming out in her mind *INUYASHA...SAVE ME* . Miroku and Sango screamed out in Union begging him to stop. But there voices didn't reach. their eyes widened I'm horror as they watched Koga forcefully try to mark Kagome.

" LET HER GO!" Miroku and Sango turned on a dime, there behind them stood a very very pissed off half demon. Miroku sighed out in relief.

" YOU WORTHLESS SCUMBAG, I SHOULD RIP OUT YOUR BLOODY HEART AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR HAIRY HIDE. YOU DID THE ONE THING YOU SHOULDN'T OF DONE." His attention went to the quivering woman in the fleabags arms. His blood boiled.

" I CAN GUARANTEE ONE THING" his voice thick

" I'M GONNA RIP YOUR MOTHERFUCKIN HEAD OFF. "Miroku shivered and Sango decided to get behind Miroku

" Things are about to get bloody" she said behind his shoulder" Miroku smiled. " good!"

Inuyasha's eyes were murderous. Koga narrowed his and his nails bit into Kagome's arm causing her to whimper. " Ah"

Inuyasha's eyes flashed.

ONCE the smell of Kagome's blood hit his nose. His body began to pulse, he gave Koga a sick sadistic grin. He unhooked the Tessaiga and tossed it aside . letting his demon blood awaken with no barrier slowing it down. His mate needed him. If it was a fight for dominance that Koga wanted. He'd give him the fight for his life, with every once of demonic energy he mustered.

Koga's nose smelled the half demon's blood wake. He stood firm. Kagome couldn't move but she felt the air shift.

This was truly gonna be a fight to the death.
