It was like hell opened up and Inuyasha was the devil himself. Losing his humanity to the beast from within.

On any other day him transforming would be troublesome, but right now the vibe felt right.

This was how wolves and dogs and other mammal showed dominance. By fighting one another to the point of death. But in Koga's case, he pretty much dug his own grave.

" Look Kagome" Koga hissed as he forcefully took her arm and yanked her around, his grip tight enough to bruise. Her back now against his chest, one arm holding her close. " Your watch dog came out to play! "

A deep rumble escaped Inuyasha's lips. His eyes that used to be laced with honey, we're now the color of blood. His lips curved, giving a little grin. " KEEP TALKING BASTARD..."

Koga smirked then just to add fuel to the already scolding hot fire. He placed his lips on Kagome's shoulder.

Her body was shaken in fear.

Multin lava bubbled through his veins. A venomous growl rippled through his chest. " GET YOUR GRUBBY HANDS OFF KAGOME YOU WORTHLESS FLEA BITTEN SAD EXCUSE OF A DEMON. ILL RIP YOUR DAMN TONGUE OUT IF YOU DARE PUT YOUR LIPS ON KAGOME'S FLESH AGAIN"

" Some mighty big words coming from a HALF mutt like you. Your barking and yapping about me keeping my distance from Kagome. You haven't left your mark! What right do you have to her if she's nothing more but a tool ?" Koga said brow raised waiting for response

He held Kagome tighter. She couldn't squirm or move nor could she barely breathe " can't... breath" she gasped out

" Your pride stood in front of everything that was important. You have no claim , cause Kagome isn't the one you truly desire. SO BACK OFF! your words are meaningless unless a mark is visible. You never knew how to truly respect her to begin with. Running to and from like a delivery boy, go back to your souless other half, just like the loyal puppy that you are, and I will take care of Kagome". He turned to take off with Kagome until a snarl was heard and a clawed hand reached out and stopped him

" KAGOME'S MINE, I ASKED YOU ONCE" he said through lengthened fangs. And blood red eyes. " LET HER GO"

Koga could smell the difference. He no longer has any trace's of human in him it was like...he was a full demon. He swallowed past the lump in his throat. But his fear went unnoticed. He smirked and took kagome's hand, he turned it over palm facing him and bit down into her hand.

Sanity cracked and rather it was the thunder that rumbled or the beast from within Inuyasha all Koga knew was the horrible scream that filled the air from Kagome, which snapped him from his foggy haze.

It didn't take long before Inuyasha's sword met the side of Koga's neck, he held it their inches away from the artery. Koga blinked In confusing and looked down to see a scared and tear soaked Kagome, then his brain registered once the smell of her blood hit his nose.

He quickly released her and Kagome plummeted to the ground.

" Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you apart?. " The demon inside Inuyasha spoke. " YOUR DEAD WOLF. NO ONE TOUCHES MY MATE NO ONE! I'M GONNA MAKE YOU SUFFER I'M GONNA SLIT OPEN YOUR GUT AND DESTROY YOU SLOWLY... I'M GONNA TORTURE YOU UNTIL YOU BEG...BED FOR DEATH." his voice was so venomous and dark. " KEH, FUCK IT. "

He cracked his fingers and moved his neck from side to side.

Koga back up a bit

Inuyasha's victim was in target. He gave Koga a sick twisted sadistic smirk.

He gripped the sword tightly and rose it up in the air as wind started gathering around it. " YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WHRIL IN HERE AND WHAT?... JUST TAKE POSSESSION OF SOMETHING OR SOMEONE THAT'S ALREADY SPOKEN FOR?"

Koga huffed " since when the hell have you spoken claim or tried pursuing claim to Kagome? hell I declared her first, you're head was just to buried up your ass at the time you didn't realize it. Your DUMB doggy brain was focused on a dead corpse . You didn't even care about the hurt or pain you put Kagome through...She wouldn't of had to worry about that with me, us wolves are loyal. We only ever love one mate, She'd of never of known betrayal with me. Only full blown loyalty. Somethin' you obviously ain't familiar with you two timing imbecile."

Kagome was still on the ground but avoided Inuyasha's eye contact. Even though Koga was being a douchebag he was also being truthful.

Inuyasha didn't know what it was like watching him run off In the middle of the night fallowing Kikyo's soul collectors. He was unaware of the pain it inflicted into her heart, the damage it placed on her soul. The endless tears and sleepless nights she went through just waiting and hoping he'd return and when he did, he always had this emptiness in his eyes, an emptiness that she herself couldn't fill.

Even though she loved Inuyasha tremendously, she knew his heart belonged to another. Koga was right. Everything he said was true, Inuyasha never once made any intentions of claiming her or asking her to be his mate.

She signed and went to stand up. Once up she held her bleeding hand to her chest and stared directly at the two. " I'm sick of this" she said through a thick tone.

They both stopped their bickering and watched as Kagome stood, back to both of them.

" Neither of you " CLAIM" me. I'm not some object who needs an owner. " She said softly. Her head turned and her tear filled eyes directly sought him out. " You don't claim me, you don't even remotely show any interest towards me, I'm just here. The temporary replacement. "

Then her eyes looked at Koga. " And you. You already knew how I felt. If you cared for me in any way, you would have let go and stopped when you were asked to. You don't care for me, you just want to use me for a little bit then toss me aside, once you're Wolfy chromosomes settle. I'll just be a nother USED toy" tears streamed down her face.

" YOU CAN BOTH GO TO HELL" she said through a sob.

Inuyasha's eyes Trimbled and the red started dissipating. He let his sword drop, ears flat against his skull.

Koga stumbled over words. As they both watched Kagome shake her head in disappointment and walk away
