Wolves were filthy hunters. They'd drag pray back to the pack but leave there bones behind.
The demon inside Inuyasha snickered * by the time I'm finished, that worthless scoundrel will be reduced to Ash* the side of his mouth twitched into a sadistic grin.
His eyes still held trace's of red, it seeped into the golden hues and gave them an orangish glow.
Which each step closer towards his victim the red seeped farther. Mile by mile he was losing his sanity cause all he wanted was to destroy the bastered who harmed his mate.
If she dies, if he goes back to the village and she's no longer breathing, heart no longer beating he will lose all what's left of his humanity to the darkness of his soul.

He could see the warmth and acceptance and ... Love.

But it was what he heard next that stopped him dead in his tracks .

" Ka...Kagome?" He called out
A gentle wind blew and it was like it formed a small gentle hand as it creased his cheek.
He closed his eyes
The wind carried with it the sent of cherry blossoms and morning due.
And a trace of salt. .
His eyes snapped open * Salt*
He turned his head back to look at the forest behind him.
That was the smell of tears.
And not just anyone's tears
He would recognize that smell anywhere.
And even in his current state it still made him feel guilty.
Her tears had a way of doing that.
He stood frozen contemplating on what he should do.
Her voice called out to him in a plea, the vision he saw was her laying on the futon. Completely motionless, the venom crawling it's way up through the veins on her arm slowly making way to her shoulder..she was covered in sweat and soaked through the silks that were draped over her, such thin layer that everything about Kagome became noticable, even in pain she was breath taking.
His mind was fallowing all the other curves and dips and then soon went to the fullness of her breast.
His body heated and he knew right then he had to shake himself from the temptation that taunted him.
He heaved in and out balling up his fist,
" FOCUS, damnit!..." He lectured himself.
He couldn't turn around now, he knew his clouded mind was playing tricks, he knew Kagome was still unconscious
He needed to finish this
That way he can reclaim what was rightfully his...
" Why would you DO THAT? " The pack leader of the tribe asked completely angered and terrified of the danger his disciple could of caused .
" You bring misfortune to us, mate bondage without actual bondage can cause a rapid response, the bite LIQUIFYS and turn VENOMOUS....which isn't harmful for wolf demon's but to a human....oh Koga what did you do?" The elder asked disappointed.
Koga shamefully looked away already feeling guilty enough. He didn't doubt he dug his own grave. The mutt was close he could smell him...only difference was his scent came with the smell of war.
He was coming for blood and Koga honestly didn't blame him...
He hurt Kagome, in a farrel like State , His body and mind were overran with testosterone and with mateing season it only made things harder. He forcefully bit her, cause a greedy and sinister part of him at that time wanted to challenge Inuyasha, and with doing so he not only lost the respect from Kagome but he lost the respect from the elder...if Kagome dies because of him he'd never forgive himself.
The elders eyes widened and the pack rose. The leader looked at Koga fearful " YOU BROUGHT DANGER TO US ALL" he said through tight lips.
Koga watched as the elder and some of the members gathered there wits and left the cave.
Inuyasha was approaching, he heard the screams of others outside the cave.
Screams and thuds as body's hitting the ground.
He heard the elder plea then gurgle. Inuyasha eventually appeared at the entrance of the cave, blood soaked his sleeves and stained his claws he held the elder out and tossed him towards Koga. He hit the ground, blood oozed from his body and puddled around Koga's feet.
Inuyasha's eyes bleed red and the smell of his blood was completely different...
His transformation left Koga horrified!
" You and I have a score to settle" Inuyasha spoke, though his voice seemed venomous. He flicked the blood off his claws.
Koga wasnt even gonna try and run, he deserved this.
the look that inuyasha gave him made his blood run cold.
" YOU... HAVE NO RIGHT TO LIVE.YOUR TRASH, GARBAGE, VERMIN...YOU HURT SOMEONE... YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO TOUCH... AND NOW SHE'S UNCONSCIOUS SUFFERING, BECAUSE OF YOU!YOU WENT AND CLAIMED WHAT WAS NOT RIGHTFULLY YOURS... TO HAVE TO SEE THE ANGUISH AND PAINAND TO HEAR HER HEARTBEAT SLOW. YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THE DIRT I TRAMPLED ON...YOU BROUGHT WAR THE MOMENT YOU TOUCHED HER. NOW I'M HERE FOR BLOOD!.
Kaede patted Kagome down with a wet cloth hoping it would help with the fever.
kagome's breathing became laybored and she kept calling out for Inuyasha which broke the elder priestesses heart...
she shook her head and continued on with the chant fallowed by mixing herbs and potions into a bowl...this wasn't a cure by any means but it'd help with the pain...poor child.
Kaede knew something bad was happening she could feel it in the breeze and smell blood in the air...
Inuyasha lost himself due to fear of losing Kagome,
if he continues she very much doubt even Kagome can awaken him from his frenzy.
" Hear this Inuyasha, do not lose what little light ye still have...Kagome wouldn't want this...she wouldn't want you to lose yourself" she more or less said to herself.
Kagome called out his name again and Kaede wetted the cloth, strang it out and removed the sweat from her brow. "I child, everything will be alright shhh"
