His eyes turned back to Kagome, he reached out and laced his fingers with hers, and held her hand tight. He'd deal with his uncomfortably cause right now at this moment, her life was all that mattered, the rest will come, the rest will eventually be. So he willed himself, and no matter what he wanted or needed or craved he needed to be Kagome's support. Then afterward he'd do what needed to be done, but he'd do it the right way, not the sadistic ways.
A small smile was placed on Kagome's lips as she rested. He couldn't help but place a soft nurturing kiss on her forehead " Wake up soon Kagome" he whispered " I have so much I wanna say, and so much I wanna do, but I can't do it without you, I need you to open up your eyes and look at me, hear me, and even if you are slightly still mad at me, I need you to hold me, embrace me. Cause I'm going mad without your voice, and crazy without seeing your eyes. I love you Kagome and when you wake up, I will non stop tell you just how much, ill never make you feel ignored or unloved again. I promise "
The next day
Morning came fast, and so did the rush of thundering feet, he jolted himself up and stood ready to draw out his sword, it wasn't until the sent became familiar that he huffed and removed his hand from the sheath. A mumble caught him off guard and about brought him to his knees.
" Inuyasha,...you alright?"
his gaze flew down to the woman who lay below him. Eyes wide open, and concerning as they looked up at him. A lump formed in his throat...as Kagome looked up at him waiting for a response.
only he had no words...he couldn't formulate words cause when he tried they choked him. So he did the only thing he could and that was to gather her into his arms and nuzzle his nose in the base of her neck... he felt so many emotions all at once...he didn't know rather to cry, laugh, or to kiss her...so he did all three.
Kagome blinked rapidly confused, but also in a trance, as Inuyasha pulled her in tightly and kissed her hungrily. He kissed her as his life depended on her very exhale of breath... sadly the explosion was cut short, as Miroku and Sango burst into the hut.
Inuyasha pulled back and looked away.
Kagome watched as he stood up and avoided the others and quietly walked out the broken door.
Sango was mumbling something while gasping on sobs, Miroku was also saying something but everything was muffled...she was still dazed by what just happened...
" Oh my god Kagome you had us so scared." sobbed Sango
Miroku patted her back " indeed we all thought we were gonna lose you, lady Kagome"
" what are you talking about?" Kagome asked a little bewildered
Miroku raised a questioning brow" do you not remember what happened a few days ago?"
Kagome looked at both of them feeling lost. " I'm sorry" she shook her head
Sango took the back of her hand and whipped at her face. " It was horrible..."
Kagome took sango's hand and gave her a reassuring squeeze. " Will you tell me what happened?"
Miroku and Sango explained everything from what happened and how she ended up where she is now...And as to why Inuyasha seemed so distant
After they explained everything she looked down at her hand and realized a scar was there but barely noticeable.
Some of what the others told her did bring back bits and pieces of the whole incident, yet she doesn't recall falling ill.
Was that why Inuyasha reacted the way he did...why he held her so tightly? and kissed her so deeply?
She almost lost her life due to Koga's bite...And yet Koga was also the one who saved her life by removing the venom...but he didn't remove it by choice...he did it only cause Inuyasha had no other options left.
And knowing that made her sob so recklessly...Inuyasha had to suffer, not just through the pains of mating season, but to watch the one person he disliked most...save the one person he cherished knowing he couldn't do it himself.
All this time...all the pain she carried, was completely vanished.
As the others eventually called it a night she stared at the door waiting for Inuyasha's return.
Waiting for the man she loved...and would the one shed confess her love too.
He suffered so much...just to make sure she lived. If that isn't love, then she didn't know what was.
A few hours later
Inuyasha waited until he knew the others were gone and asleep before he decided to head back to the hut...he hopped down from the tree...trying to keep himself in control despite having an inner demon whispering Ludacris words and showing him vile images of what could happen if he didn't keep his composure.
Kissing her woke up desires, and a fire inside him went ablaze...he didn't wanna pull away from the heat...he wanted to be incased by the flame. But the others rushed in so fast that...he fire had to be put to sleep, just long enough for him to pull back and leave.
He left in frustration though, her taste and the way she tilted her head just so he could taste her deeply, his mouth devoured her's and his body hungrily craved her but the human part wanted nothing more than to love her.
He planned to do just that, he was gonna go to her and confess his love.
When he arrived at the door, she turned her head and smiled " Inuyasha!"
She went to get up, but he rushed to her side to stop her. " Take your time, you're still in the process of recovering, don't overdo it "
She looked up at him and gasped. His eyes weren't the same golden yellow, they were like the sunset, orange mixed with hues of red. She reached up and caressed his cheek, his eyes went wide.
" I'm so sorry," she said her words thick with emotion.
That throw him completely off...she was apologizing...FOR WHAT?
" come again?" he said a little upset.
" I'm sorry...I'm sorry you had to go through all this, I'm sorry I didn't realize it sooner, and I'm sorry I was blinded by what was actually happening. I'm sorry that i...almost died"
Tears started to sting the back of his eyes...he was angry.
" DON'T YOU DARE APOLOGIZE, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE SORRY FOR. YOU THOUGHT I IGNORED YOUR SACRIFICES AND MADE YOU THINK I WAS OBLIVIOUS TO YOUR FEELINGS. I'M THE ONE WHO'S SORRY KAGOME, I'M THE ONE WHO HURT YOU! I'M THE REASON YOU ALMOST DIED!"
yes by this time tears worked their way down his cheeks and dripped onto the floor.
"but...I'm the reason you're in so much pain" she said softly
he looked up at her not understanding what she meant. " what are you talking about?"
She told him that Sango and Miroku explained the whole mating season thing.
Inuyasha's face was tinted pink if she knew all of this...what are her feelings towards it...and why couldn't he find the courage to look her in the eye.
" I just...didn't want to hurt you," he said through a lump in his throat,
She couldn't help but smile then. " Inuyasha...the only way you could possibly hurt me, is if you never loved me"
His eyes flung upward and he looked straight into her own,..." what did you say?" he asked again just to make sure he heard right.
She started to repeat it but before she could finish, his lips found hers and they got lost within the heats of love.
" I have never once stopped loving you...not once...not ever, I couldn't!" he said through each gasp of air...his body started to fever up again.
And the kissing started to get aggressive, he thrust his tongue into her mouth and ran it over her teeth and savored every delicious bit...his body was starting to burn and kagome was able to feel it through his kimono...she wanted to ask if he was okay, but each time she tried he'd feast on her mouth with his own...
The demon inside him was waking up, he felt himself slipping, his hands gripped her hips and then he ran his hand over the fullness of her bottom, his hunger only grew his claws got longer and purple strips appeared on his face...he wanted to TAKE her...wanted to remove what little she had on...he wanted to BITE her taste every part of her, he could smell her arousal and that only made him want her more...
but something in him screamed out for him to stop...stop this madness
he came back to his senses ...and pushed himself back...gasping and breathing heavily he took both hands hand covered his face.

Kagome watched as his body shook. She understood why things could be dangerous, but she wanted to help cure his pain. Inuyasha was at his breaking point...she knew if he wouldn't have pulled away, things would have gotten out of control...even then she wouldn't refuse him. Her love for him outweighed that of rational thought.
She understood why he was scared. " Inuyasha...when I'm better...I want you to...mark me"
"huh?" he said still trying to calm his sanity
" I want you to mark me, I want you to make me your mate. Do you think you can wait for me? then when I'm fully recovered will you make love to me and be completely mine, forever?"
He was shocked...did that just come out of his Kagome?
" So, you'll have me?" he said in a low disbelieved voice
" Of course I will, I love you Inuyasha, I have loved you since the day we met"
A small smirk formed on his face. " you better start getting better kagome, cause I dunno how long I'm gonna be able to handle this" he said while grabbing her hand and placing it on his manhood. She gulped and turned five shades of red. " sir, yes sir " she said jokingly.
The warmth from her hand was enough to drive him crazy he hissed out a little and then embarrassedly looked away. " I'm gonna die," he said more or less to himself but she muffled a giggle and said " if you do...ill find ways to revive you until I'm completely heald.
" oh yeah, care to explain ?" he challenged
Kagome wasn't experienced at all, she had no idea what her attempt was gonna do, she knew back in her time sex was a normal teenage experience but for her, it was something more special, Something that should be saved only for the ones in love. Eddy would go on and on about her first time and how magical it seemed, but to kagome, she couldn't have been more disappointed in her friend considering the person Eddy lost her virginity to was a one-time thing.

She replaced her hand with her warm amazing mouth... " FUCK" he yelped out...losing his mind from all the new yet amazing sensations, the bad part about all of this...it made him wanna be inside her even more...it made him wonder what those amazing inner walls were capable of...the thought of it was causing him to thrust deeply into her mouth...the thought of how tight, and warm, he thrust again, wet and deep, he felt it...it was coming...he was gonna EXPLODE!... he pictured her screaming out his name as she cums all over him.

He raised a brow and then reached for Tessaiga, he looked at his reflection through the sword and was shocked when his eyes were back to their original golden color.
So all the needed to do was...Release himself to regain some clarity.
She wanted to ask him if he enjoyed what she did, but for right now she was just happy to see he was back to his original self for the time being...
He was in total shock...his body was stiff and shaken...never in his whole life has he ever experienced something so earth shattering...his limbs were weak...
When he was able to catch his breath...he sat up wanting to gather her into his arms, only to find out she was asleep.
"Kagome?...damn it woman...dont fall asleep on me..." he shook her a little
" you can't just do something like that and then pass out, i want answers" he demanded.
she smiled a little behind her closed lids. " im all ears" she whispered.
" how'd you learn to do that?" he asked
" school, friends, computer, books..." she yawned.
" school teaches you stuff...like this?" he was horrified
she giggled " not this in particular...but they do teach you about sex."
His eyes widened. " THEY WHAT?"
She sighed and gave a little grin...and explained what sex ed was all about and how she was able to learn things like...what she did.
Inuyasha listened and asked a few questions and they shared a few laughs, eventually he gathered her into his arms and held her tight...she drifted back to sleep, and he too found sleep...and for the first time in days his mind was quiet...he slept in peace.
What Kagome did helped tame the flame...but once she was completely healed he'd make her his own. He kissed her forehead and whispered " i love you Kagome"
