Fate: Damnit

Harry Potter/ Fate Stay Night

(Dudley and Hermione)

Dudley was nearly at Celenike! He was grinning madly, but he could feel himself weakening. Fighting the Homunculi whilst not easy, they weren't exactly tough either; what made them vexing foes was their tendency to be slightly above an Olympic Athlete, use Magic and tended to fight in groups.

Dudley knew that he'd only managed to hang on for as long as he had stemmed from his rather thorough grasp of reinforcement. Dudley had very few circuits with a just below average flow quality and barely activated them. Due to his minor training, he'd gotten to grips with it. His skill with his mana had enabled him to summon Lugh, he knew that Harry was doing the legwork in the double summoning and then maintaining a connection with two Sabers!

Suddenly his world dissolved into pain! He looked at his hand at it looked as if it was slowly dissolving. "Surprised! I am Celinike Icecolle Yggdmillennia; Head of the Icecolle Family, Mistress of Curses, Master of the Rider of Black! Prepare to die, Saber of Red Master!"

Lugh winced as she felt a drain on her reserves. Her Master was injured, Lugh managed to rake her sword across Rider's chest. "That was amazing! I've never seen a sword like that before! I might have heard of it, but I can't remember!" Rider babbled aimlessly.

Lugh grunted, she was confident that she could take Rider but the Rider was known to be one of the swifter ones. She could feel that her Master had been injured, then power rushed through her body. "Hippogriff Otherworldly Phantom Horse!"

"FRAGARACH!" Lugh screamed as Astolfo on his Hippogriff charged. The Noble Phantasms were released but Fragarach had several abilities that not many people knew about. Aside from the ability to sunder armour, cause all to tell nothing but the truth and leave wounds that the survivors could not heal from it had a skill similar to that of Cu Chulainn's Gae Bolg it always struck first.

As swift as Astolfo was being summoned as a Rider, even riding a steed from the Age of the Gods, he was unable to outrun a destiny warping strike. Astolfo's luck statistic whilst ranked as A+, only managed to give her a split-second warning as the counter-strike-first-strike blade split Astolfo and his Hippogriff in twain. But not before half of the attack slammed into Lugh, the female goddess grunted as the attack slammed into her.

Being hit by a Noble Phantasm sucked, even for a servant. Dudley winced as his reserves took a hit. He had the Yggdmillennia within his grasp when she cast her final spell, it was a heart exploding curse. Dudley stopped, blood spewed from his mouth but with his body rapidly failing he launched himself and landed a reinforced jab into his foes gut.

Celenike froze, her victim had managed to drive his fist through her stomach. She looked over at a fading Astolfo, the Saber of Red hadn't yet disappeared but it didn't matter as everything was turning cold and her vision was fading.

(Hermione and Caster)

Hermione had been too busy trying not to get themselves killed. Caster after blasting back several golems, caught Astolfo; it was rather obvious who the babbling lunatic was if you paid attention that is.

Hailey's eyes widened "Hermione, unfortunately Dudley's dead. Hang tight! STOP KRONOS! REVERSE! ARCANUM AEGIS!" Upon the pronunciation of the Titan King of Time, Caster's voice modulated and began to reverberate profusely as an emerald circle, spewing emerald flames rushed out from the Servant.

The Golems and Homunculi paused as the wartorn area was replaced by castle on a hill with a majestic set of grounds including a forest and a lake. "Welcome to the Pocket of the Gods! Where TRUE Magic remains! Now BURN!"

(Tristan, Rin and Flat)

So far two days in, the trio had been rather successful in avoiding confrontations; aside from a small patrol of homunculi and a golem escort which Tristan smoothly took down.

Aside from the faint twinkling of a harp, Failnaught sung, arrows flew through the air and the homunculi and golems dropped.

"Masters!" Tristan spun, arrow taught on his bow as he spied a girl in a normal school uniform and a homunculi. "A homunculi and a mortal."

"Intercept them. No killing the mortal." Flat instructed, getting a curt nod from Rin.

"Halt!" Tristan ordered and in like most Fate scenarios things went sideways.

The girl transformed, gone was the back length ponytail and school uniform and in her place was unmistakably Jeanne D'Arc; the banner stood tall and her sword present "Archer of Red, Tristan, Knight of Lament…and Master duo."

Rin and Flat both stared at her in horror, something that Tristan opened his eyes in shock at "I am Servant Ruler, Jeanne D'Arc, I am here to enforce the ruling of this Holy Grail War; but already I am suspecting many things to be afoot."

Rin prepped her gems, she hadn't heard of the Ruler Class and she was part of the family who'd created the damn thing. "Rin Tohsaka, this is an abnormal Holy Grail War, there are four factions as opposed to two. Meaning I have possession of fifty odd command seals when a Ruler is meant to have only twenty-eight, two per servant on each side. Followed by the fact that I've felt Masters perish but their servants persist and in some cases a Master with multiple servants."

Rin shrugged "That seems to be more your problem than ours. Then who is the homunculi? I've been overhearing other homunculi and a few of the Yggdmillennia complaining about a homunculi going AWOL."

"The Saber of Black, Siegfried, gave me his heart after his master, Goredolf, killed me."

"That'd make you some sort of hybrid servant…" Flat began.

"It does, and it is because of his desire to be a non-combatant, when I stumbled over him that I am escorting him out of Romania…Come out Assassin of Red and Master."

Rin spun, when they'd set off their seventh member hadn't joined them. Slinking out of the shadow was a familiar face for her "Fifth War Assassin."

Assassin smiled "Master of Fifth War Archer…and Red Faction Archer, it appears the more things change the more they stay the same. Tell me, is the Master of Fifth Saber present?"

"He is. But he's not Saber, he's a Lancer."

"Ahhh…the good King of Knights has a Lancer form. I mean you know harm, yet."

"Hey Tohsaka!" Standing in blue and gold tactical gear was none other than Luviagelita Edelfelt.

"Hyena." "Just great, I've got murder happy Sabers and now her…Although…" Rin thought to herself.

"Master, if she's a threat, shall I eliminate them both? From what I understand the winning faction must then fight to the death…"

"The Master of Archer is one to watch, I think I can kill her before her Archer can react."

"Don't. That's precisely what Tohsaka wants, anyway I need to find Shero and win him away from her."

"As you wish…"

It was then a thick rolling fog rolled in, accompanied by the sounds of children screaming but above all else a single phrase "Mummy? Are you there, mummy?"
