My Iron Giant

-So Close To Going Nowhere-

Out of everything that Izuku had endured so far, this was a nice change of pace.

*Bok* *pmph*

No thinking.

*Woosh* *pmhp*

His mind occupying itself by focusing on the ball, catching it, and flicking it off his finger and back to his Dad.

*Bok* It was a satisfying noise, the ball making a firm solid noise when his metal finger hit it. His optics followed it as it soared through the air, right into his father's open catchers mitt.

*pmph* The mitt closed on the ball, and in a fluid motion Hisashi picked it up and whirled it back to Izuku. *woosh*

*pmph* He barely had to move, plucking it from the air with his forefinger and thumb. Izuku looked at it and took a moment to marvel at the level of control that felt so natural. Using just enough strength and speed to catch the small fragile object, restraining enough to not demolish it or send it flying back at hundreds of miles an hour at his Dad.

Balancing the baseball on his finger, he flicked it back over to his Dad who caught it again. He had expected training of some kind, alongside with what Ochaco does every morning. Yet his father had shown up first thing with the ball and two catcher's mitts, brand new if the stickers on both of them gave it away.

"Yaaawwwn"

Yet why was Monoma here holding a camera?

[Incoming Projectile]

"Watch ou-oh you caught it. Nice."

Two of Izuku's cameras were focused on the ball, one on Hisashi, and his main one on Monoma. Three separate images somehow colliding into one that he could simultaneously keep track of.

"Don't look at me like that. I'd rather be sleeping but your father has twelve years of neglect to catch up on." Monoma huffed.

"Ouch, you really didn't have to go that far. I do appreciate you recording this." Hisashi caught the ball that Izuku tossed his way.

"To convince the world you're not an incompitent parental figure?"

"No! To record moments that I've missed this whole time! Izuku you understand I was working in America for you and Inko right?" He threw the ball back, his aim slightly off but Izuku's limb reached out to grab it.

"Were you not competent enough to work in Japan?"

"Are you always trying to make people feel like shit?"

Monoma shrugged, not denying the accusation but he did feel currently justified to not hold back from his old self. He'd talk it over with Kendo to make sure he was in the right. Izuku looked at the ball, doing a low powered underhanded toss to his Dad.

Hisashi sighed, lazily catching the ball. "It's no secret after the funeral. Uraraka had the whole world know that I'm Endeavor's brother. It's why I changed my last name, to try and make a career for myself. But to escape his shadow I moved to America." Winding back, he motioned for Izuku to move a little further backwards.

"So you moved when our next number one was four years old?"

"Yep." Hisashi threw it harder, but Izuku caught it easily. "I offered for them to come with me but I was the only one who spoke English."

"Hm, and not from Izuku getting checked for a quirk like every other four year old?"

Hisashi looked right at the blond, who didn't have enough energy to look smug. "I think we can stop recording now."

"Oh no, we're about to get to the good bit."

"What do you-"

"D-dad!"

"Yeah Izuku-AH!"

*bonk* The ball had hit Hisashi, plopping the man to the ground to groan in pain. Izuku came running over, his hands hovering over Hisashi in mild panic. Monoma grinned, making sure this would certainly get on the internet.

Ochaco bounced from one foot to the other, the mock city in front of her. Snipe was hidden somewhere here, ready to shoot her down if she wasn't quick enough. Glancing down at the tool she was given, the grapple wire was strapped to her wrist. It was a way to get her down from the air in case she jumped a little too high with her quirk still active. It was risky to practice releasing, falling, and using her quirk last minute. Plus Izuku wasn't hovering over her twenty four seven. (She wouldn't mind if he still did)

While she no longer needed it, it was always better to be prepared.

"You have thirty seconds, load up."

"Right." She replied to the radio on her. On a table to her side was a rifle and sidearm in pieces in random places. In fluid practice, she grabbed each one, sliding and clicking one another into place. Grip, trigger guard, action slot, barrel, slide stop, sights, every single one had a place and Ochaco would make sure they worked together. Testing the action of each one, she loaded the rubber bullets into two magazines, and slipped them into her weapons.

As soon as her side arm was in its place on her hip, she held her main firearm with respect.

"Go."

Ochaco dead sprinted forward at an angle to one of the buildings on the side ahead. As soon as she gained her top speed, she used her quirk on herself and jumped. One of her first lessons from Snipe shooting at her, was when she was in the air her movements were easy to predict. Instead of floating straight ahead, she zigzagged from building to building, keeping her feet connected as much as possible.

*click*

Ochaco spun, lining up her sights on one of the targets that shot up.

*BANGBANGBANG*

Three shots to the torso. It was the best way to take out a target with the least likely hood of killing them. Snipe had shown her too many gruesome videos of people shooting others in the limbs, either to hit an artery and the person bleeding out or the maniac still running forward to stab the officer. Ochaco never thought she would really be in that circumstance, but USJ happened, and taught her.

Keep moving, don't hesitate, otherwise someone will die.

*click*

Ochaco deactivated her quirk, rolling on a rooftop and aiming at the next target. There were two, one behind and one in front, the one closer to her had their back facing to her, while one behind had a fearful face on them. All her training experience told her where to aim, just enough to the villains side to know that if the rounds would have gone through it was least likely to hit them.

*BANGBANG*

It fell down, the other remaining up.

"Get inside and find a safe place to wait! The heroes are here!" Ochaco said while sprinting by, already removing her own gravity and moving on.

Jump, shoot, sprint, shoot, shoot, jump, sprint, jump.

Glimmer.

Ochaco whipped out her grapple, shooting it to the side and smashed into a building.

*BANG*

A gunshot rang out, another window breaking. She couldn't sit still, but she couldn't dare let herself be seen through a window.

*BANG, BANG, BANG*

"HOLY SHIT!" Rounds were going straight through the cement, piercing into the ground.

Graduation, he was testing her graduation.

This was much sooner than she predicted, Snipe informed her long ago that if he considered if she was ready for a real gun or not he would start using live rounds. Ochaco thought that would be her second, probably third year. Nope, he was testing her NOW.

It would be illegal if it was anyone else shoot at her, but this was Snipe, the man who could shoot a crumb off a pin nearly a mile away.

*BANG*

"Ah!" That one went right next to her. Ochaco was moving too slow again, she needed to get to Snipe before he got her. Regaining her bearings, Ochaco recalled where she spotted the glimer.

Seventy degrees North East, three floors high. That's where he was. First option was to head west, back track towards the south and come from behind. It provided the most cover, but by then he might get impatient and start shooting his own targets.

It was stupid to charge straight ahead and face him head on. Yet it was the only one to make sure civilian targets wouldn't be hit. Plus, there's a cheat she always had.

Izuku would always come to her rescue if she truly was in trouble.

"Screw it, READY OR NOT HERE I COOOOME!" Ochaco grappled the underside of the window, jumping as it reeled her in.

*Crash*

Going through the window, she started to freefall to the ground. Switching her gun to full auto she started to send short bursts to where she predicted Snipe to be. It worked, she must have gotten close enough for him to start taking cover, otherwise he would have shot her by now.

Slapping her thigh she prevented her bones from breaking on the pavement. Once she hovered right above the ground she kicked off, running along the walls of buildings and jumping in between the road. Staying low, she gave herself a greater angle that would give her more time when Snipe took aim at her. It also provided more contact to control her direction.

*BANG*

A portion of the road right next to her exploded. Giving herself more cover fire, she kept running at him.

*BANGBANGBANGBANGclickclick*

SHIT! She had used too much ammo too fast, Snipe certainly would have counted her bullets knowing how many were in her magazine. Ochaco ducked for cover behind a car, more bullets pelting the metal.

Crapcrapcrapcrap, she hastily ejected her magazine, grabbing a new one to load into the gun.

*BANG*

It exploded in her hand, the magazine ruined. Her main firearm was no longer an option, so she clipped it to her back. Never throw a perfectly good gun away unless it's as more ammo. Ochaco wasn't as good with her aim regarding her pistol, and it wasn't burst or auto.

A new plan, she needed a new plan. Yet her options for cover were out and he knew exactly where she was. The moment she stepped out he would be on her. Something else was needed, she couldn't use her guns, or her grapple, and using her quirk on herself was useless to get her out of here.

But this wasn't a test on her skills with a gun alone are they?

Ochaco placed her fingers against the car she was hiding behind. Grabbing her weightless cover, she made herself weightless and jumped right at Snipe.

"RAH!" Using all her leg strength, she leapt.

*BANGBANGBANGBANG*

He had switched to his quick fire revolver, more intense bullets running through the metal but clinking against the more dense metal of the interior mechanics. Once she got within twenty feet of the building Ocacho kicked the car forward and released her quirk.

*CRASH*

It rammed through the window, breaking into the room. Ochaco used her grapple wire and swung into the room with her pistol.

*Click*

Snipe's finger had cocked back the hammer of his revolver, aiming it right at her head. Ochaco was crouched with her own gun, the silent stare down waiting for someone to pull the trigger.

"You hesitated."

"So did you."

"My gun would blow your little head like a watermelon. Yours would leave a welt at best."

Ochaco kept staring down her teacher, the wind blowing her hair softly as Snipe's own crimson cloak shifted.

*Beepbeep, beepbeep*

The timer on Snipe's belt went off, echoing in the dust filled room. Neither of them lowered their guns, still intent on keeping their aim locked on the other.

"You can lower your gun now." Ochaco grinned.

"It's against my principal to lower my gun as someone is pointin' one at me."

"It's against mine too."

"Who taught you that?"

"You."

Oh the snarkiness in Ochaco's voice was palpable.

*BANG*

"Ouch!" Ochaco's gun was shot straight out of her hand, pieces of it falling around her. Now that she was disarmed Snipe put his own away.

"Congrats, you passed." Snipe started walking to the doorway.

"That's it, that's all?" Ochaco got up, catching up to him.

"Yup."

"No ceremony? No celebration?! Not even a cake!"

"I think this is better." Snipe pulled out an older gun, one that had scratches, dents, and old wrappings around the gip. Ochaco held it, the frame light and firm. Dotted vents went up the three barrels in the gun. It had a small custom drum magazine with three feeding ports. The acog scope on it was very highgrade, with several different knobs and switches along it.

"How expensive is this?" Ochaco asked, hoping the age of it significantly decreased its value. Yet, how durable this felt, the quality of when it was built, the upkeep, this was obviously a good gun, a one of a kind.

"Enough to easily put you in debt."

*Gulp* "I-I don't t-think I h-have enough a-allowance to-"

"Not money, lives." Snipe turned around, facing her straight on. "That gun costs as many lives as it has taken, so save that many more with it."

Leaving her to ponder on that, Snipe opened up the door and marched down the stairway. The two walked in silence for a moment, heading straight to the dorms so she could get washed up. Ochaco kept examining the gun, fiddling with seperate parts of it and seeing just how it worked. Of course, she didn't dare load a live round into it. One because she didn't have any, and two because she never expected to get the chance so soon.

"Sorry for pushing my debt onto you, but I think you'll be able to pay it off." The hero whispered.

"What?"

"Incoming." Snipe warned, Ochaco reflexively going into a combat stance and readying her weapon.

"SHIT DON'T SHOOT DON'T SHOOT!"

Tsuburaba held his hands up, other students reacting similarly.

"Damn, is that real?!" Manga yelled.

"You are allowed to have gun here?! Why did I not bring mine?!" Pony whined, exasperated.

"No fair! When do we get our guns?!" Tokage smiled, imagining herself armed to the teeth with several small guns on each of her floating pieces.

"URAKAKA! BRINGING GUNS ON CAMPUS IS NOT ONLY AGAINST UA POLICY IT'S ALSO AGAINST THE LAW!" Tenya chopped the air, feeling unthreatened by the weapon.

"Shut up Ida!" Tokage shouted.

"She didn't bring it on campus." Snipe moved forward, pushing Ochaco's gun down. "I did."

"W-WELL, WHY WOULD-"

"Oh get a hint IDA! THE GUN HERO WHO HAS BEEN TRAINING HER FOR WEEKS IS STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO HER!" Tokage floated her upper body to be right above him, shoving her pointer fingers against the side of her temple.

"THINK IDA THINK! IF SHE WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG THEN THE GUY WHO IS A MASTER OF GUNS WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!"

*Stomp, stomp*

"Or him, if there was a problem he would do something about it." Tetsutetsu said flatly, pointing to the approaching Izuku.

"There he is!"

"Midoriya!"

"Izuku!"

"Mechabro!"

Izuku faltered, showered in the sudden attention by a hoard of teenagers.

"We haven't seen you since USJ!"

"Are you holding up alright?"

"Of course he is/Of course he isn't!"

"Wait, he seems fine."

"Dude! He had to watch All Might die!"

Aaaaand there goes the happy mood. Ochaco quickly went forward, to shield Izuku from all of the questions and random nonsense.

"IZUKUUUUUUUUU!"

But someone was about to beat her to it. The crowd parted as the living missile came flying in.

*CLANG*

Mei slammed herself against Izuku's metal leg, bear hugging the limb. "I'msosorryforbeingclingyandtreatingyoulikeamindlesstoolsocanwebefriendsandmakeamazingbabiestogetherIknowyou'dagreethatyourquirkcanhelprevolutionizethetechnologicalhaltthathumanityhasbeenfacingforthepasttwocenturies-"

Ochaco wasn't stopping, already wanting to test her new gun on this annoying bitch. Snipe grabbed her shoulder before she could get too far and do something that would permanently destroy her future.

Knowing she couldn't escape she did the next best thing. "Why are all these people here?"

"Today is the day students can come back to the dorms since the battle. Expect to be bothered a bunch." He gave her gentle patting before going off.

"It's rude to climb someone without permission!" Tenya

"He let me do it all the time! You're ok with this right Izuku?" Mei asked happily smiling as she was climbing his chest.

The giant was overwhelmed, his optic spiraling around as he was overwhelmed by everyone trying to talk to him. Tokage was floating around his head, Tenya was yelling at everyone, Tetsutetsu and Manga were taking selfies, even some blond guy and a midget with purple balls on his head were putting bumper stickers on his rear. Things got worse as Mei had grabbed his main optic, keeping it focused on her. Ochaco grabbed her pistol, the one still loaded with the rubber bullets. "Just one shot to the forehead, just one, let me have that."

Oh how she wanted to, how she really wanted to shoot her. Yet the lesson was ingrained in her head, never point a gun at something you don't want dead. Ugh, one day crazy chick, one day. Even so..

*BANGBANGBANG* Ochaco fired her gun into the air, getting everyone's attention in either panic or confusion.

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!" Her sudden anger was shocking, no one had seen her this mad, ever. "Do any of you really care about him? If you do then give him some DAMN SPACE!"

Her own classmates scrambled in fear of getting shot, running back to their dormitory. As for the other students they slowly started to back away, unsure why the hell there's a girl with a gun on campus. Yet, they knew that they couldn't do anything against her because of the war machine standing right there.

The only one who wasn't moving was Mei, who was kicking her legs in glee on Izuku's shoulder. "Hi Izuku's pilot! I'm Mei Hatsume."

"Why are you calling him that?"

"His name? I used to call him Daddy but a lot of people said that was gross. I don't know why though, but eventually Powerloader said that I had to cut it out or else he would keep me from the studio. I had to leave either way because of the whole attack but now I'm back and Izuku and I are going to make tons of babies together!"

"Uuuuuggghhhhh" Ochaco groaned, very tempted to unload the rest of her clip right at her. "That's not what I..Whatever. Izuku do you want to watch something?"

Izuku finally regained his senses, thinking about the offer. It had been a while since they watched something, never since he regained full awareness. He needed simple things, yeah, a movie would be nice.

"Yes."

"Wait!" Mei shouted. "But Nezu said that once I got back we could start my super duper baby making club! Name still pending."

Izuku flinched when Ochaco actually growled, but the brunette gave in. Partially.

"Izuku, do you want to watch something, or do the-"

"Giant Metal Mecha Babies club!"

"That thing."

"TV" It was easier to say, and it got the message across.

"Welp, sorry you pink little devil, we're going to watch a movie." Ochaco said, clapping her hands together with a bright smirk.

"Come on Izuku!" Happily reaching up and grabbing his finger she tugged him along to the dorms.

"Aaawww, I drafted so many ideas too!" Mei whined.

"Too bad, Izuku made his choice."

"You can go now." Ochaco tried to wave her off, but she stuck around.

"We're watching a movie aren't we? Nezu informed me that Izuku here *patpat* can render designs from tons of fictional sci-fi and make the stupidly thought out mechanically possible!"

"It wasn't...you weren't….argh!" She stopped in place, pointing directly at Mei. "Get off of him already!"

"Why?"

"He doesn't like it!"

"He's not complaining."

"He's learning to speak!"

"He can say no, isn't that right Izuku?"

"Yes."

"See!"

Ochaco puffed her cheeks to the point her face looked like an inflated red balloon. She held her arms up to Izuku, wordlessly commanding him. His hand gently wrapped around her torso, picking her up and opening his cockpit area.

"Wow! That's so cool! You actually managed to create enough internal space for another person while keeping your original body intact! Or did you get rid of that? Bodies are so troublesome, there's too many useless parts and too many rules. It's much easier to build one from scratch nowadays without all the legal garba-"

It sealed shut, letting Ochaco ride the rest of the way inside the cockpit. It was incredibly comfortable, but built for practicality in mind first. There were lots of buttons that she didn't know what they would do, but the big screen that made up the front showing everything was nice. It was big enough to where she could move around and stretch out her limbs. Holding out her hand, she made a 'gimme motion.' From the ceiling a pillow dropped right into her palms. The entire time her face was stuck in a grouchy look that could rival Oscar's trashy persona. Inhaling deeply, Ochaco took in as much air as she could through her nostrils, pressed the pillow against her face, and screamed.

"HRMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!"

Her legs kicked violently as she continued to vent her anger in the cushion. Even when she stopped screaming to regain air Ochaco's body still abused the pillow. Izuku didn't stop her, or attempt to do anything besides obey. He wasn't sure how to calm her down, so he let her do what she wanted so long as she didn't actually try to kill anyone.

"Hey! Pilot girl! Are you controlling Izuku right now?"

One glare at the screen caused Izuku to act.

[Deactivating Internal Speaker Audio]

Ochaco regulated her breathing, clenching and unclenching her fist.

Mei seemed to pick up the not speaking and crawled back to Izuku's face, shoving her own into his eye and right into Ochaco's sight. Her face magnified by the camera and filling out the large screen in front of her. All with that stupid smile.

[Deactivating Internal Visual Screen]

A blank screen, no sound, just gentle rocking from Izuku's steps.

*clangclangclang*

"AAAAAHHHHH!" Ochaco screamed as Mei started banging on the exterior.

Izuku just wanted to watch a movie.

"So, Uraraka huh." Manga said as he added some new movies to his collection. Once his parents learned that he had single handedly been helping improve Midoriya's body through movies and shows, they had let him splurge a little on his hobby. Ok, maybe he had exaggerated some parts but it was still true! The leopardon, the gundam, they were from his suggestions.

"She was scary." Pony admitted, opening her backpack and adding her own American styled movies to his shelves.

"Hey." Tokage grabbed one of Pony's blueray cases. "How come this case had a cheaply printed cover? *click* and a sharpied title on the disc?"

Pony gave them a cheeky grin. (Yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me~) She sang in English.

"You get some of that?" Tokage asked Manga.

"I recognize the tune." Manga replied, putting a similarly printed case and sliding it in place. Pony noticed and gave him a cheeky grin.

*knock knock*

"Come in." Manga grabbed a, you guessed it, manga and put it on a different shelf.

To their surprise, it was Monoma with Kendo right behind him. "Is this the unofficial geek club?"

"No/Yes."

Tokage pinched Manga, not liking the term geek. "It's true! We are geeks."

"You are, I'm not."

"You're a geek for dinosaurs."

"That's different!"

"Take everything in my room, make it dinosaur themed, that's your room."

"Kendo, please." Monoma did his best to restrain his laughter. "I think it's appropriate."

"Fine." Kendo said, pulling out a card and stamping a spot. "There, you have four laugh at other people's expenses for the week."

"HAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed, clutching his belly. "O-out of everything to-to geek out a-about you pick every five y-year old b-boy's interests! HAHAHAHA!"

"Keep laughing bub." Tokage warned. "Or else I'm going to shove my fingers up your nose and leave them there for the whole day."

Kendo held up her hand to defend the boy. "Just let him get it out of his system."

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

"How long is that going to take?"

"Until he turns purple."

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Monoma fell to the floor, his face turning bright red.

"Will he really?" Tokage, now very interested, squatted down to watch the boy exhaust all the oxygen in his body.

"After a soul searching moment he figured that making fun of everyone in a condescending way isn't something nice. But you can't change your humor in a day, so to wean him off we're starting with eight times a week he can laugh at someone if it's not going to get him branded racist, cruel, or worse."

"What's worse than a racist?" Tokage asked. Her answer was Manga handing her the first volume of Goblin Slayer.

"EW, what the hell?! Why the hell do you have this in your room?"

"It makes those slaying moments so much better."

"I'm burning this. No one should have this in their room."

"If you think this is bad you should see what one of the guys in One A has."

"He is purple!" Pony shouted in wonder, Monoma barely keeping his going chuckling as he began to pass out.

"Ah dammit I missed it!" Tokage stomped her foot on the ground, throwing the book of sin on the bed. "I blame you!" She pointed accusingly at Manga.

*Knock knock*

"It's already pretty crowded in here." Kendo thought aloud, scratching her cheek.

"Why did you two come here?" Manga asked finishing on putting away his 'Mechadoriya' shelf. Pony and he decided to keep their stash in his room where his collection would be guarded with his life. There were two more empty shelves for new content and whatever Uraraka and Midoriya decided to add. Finally, to appease their lizard loving friend, there was a small corner at the bottom where Tokage shoved as much robo dinos as she could in it ranging from power rangers, to MechaGodzilla itself.

"Well, Monoma here was asked by Nezu to watch some of your recommended stuff." Kendo started to pick Monoma's body up.

"And you?" Tokage added on.

"I make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."

"Is anyone answering the door?" Pony asked.

"Ah, totally understand. I try to do the same with a certain blue headed idiot."

"You're failing." Kendo chuckled.

"Plus." Manga came up to the two. "You don't have that cute crush on each other that either are aware of."

Tokage nodded in approval. "Oh yeah, don't have that going on."

"I'm still right here." Kendo's brow twitched.

"Hello!" Pony opened the door, welcoming the newcomers. Izuku's massive frame was crouched right in front of their door, Hatsume waving excitedly at them.

"Hello movie watching group and future club member!"

The crazed woman's voice got Monoma to regain consciousness, recalling a certain meeting he had with Nezu and the multitude of warnings he gave him.

"How...how is Midoriya fitting in the hallway?" Manga asked, not even seeing a gap he could squeeze through to get out of his room.

"Izuku is surprisingly flexible. Makes me want to study every inch of this beautiful metal." Mei drooled, stroking her hand across his shoulder.

"...Kendo I think I need another card punch."

"You just had one."

"But! Look!" He pointed right at the scene making all of the teens more and more uncomfortable.

Tokage ignored them, now looking through the Mechadoriya collection for something she hasn't seen yet. "Ok, while they discuss another pervert joining our movie group."

"I'm not a pervert." Manga denied.

"I never said you are but if you're so defensive about it.." She grinned with her pointed teeth, then continued looking. "So, what should we watch this time?"

"Something iconic, and good material for Midoriya's quirk. Not necessarily critically good, just a show to kick back and relax to." Manga squatted down next to the dino lover.

"Oh, oh, I know!" Pony shouted excitedly. Grabbing one from the American section with Japanese sub. She showed it to the others, bouncing with energy.

"Real Steel?" Tokage read the cover. "That looks like it screams American, boxer movie with robots."

"And Hugh Jackman. The guy is an icon himself." Manga added. "I think this fits our criteria."

"But it's sub." Tokage whined again. "I don't wanna read."

"You can't top that man's rough yet angelic voice." The living comic teen argued. "To do so would be a crime, and the voice actor is branded a traitor to the film industry."

"What, are you gay?" Their lizard girl joked, but Manga's absent face just deadpanned at her.

"I'm a two dimensional being. I don't have a gender."

"Wait, what? I thought that was just your head!"

"Nah, I'm just messing with you. I'm just a guy who knows how to rate other guys."

"But you're not gay."

"Not gay."

"Let's watch movie already!" Their American started to drag the two away, leading them to the rooftop.

Izuku was already waiting there with Mei chatting away when they finally arrived with their blankets and popcorn. This time, Tokage managed to contribute something of worth to the others and got a projector for them to watch the movie on, displaying the screen on the side of Ochaco's room on the roof.

As soon as the movie started, Tetsutetsu had charged through the door recognizing the first three seconds of sound and needed to be there. No one bugged Izuku much at all, besides Mei, only treating him as if nothing changed. Finally when Kendo noticed something big, she asked directly where Ochaco was. He pointed right at his chest, the rest of them nodding and not wanting to push it further.

"Hoot."

Everyone glanced over at the owl that had perched on Izuku's shoulder. The boy's cameras focused on it, the lenses widening to the best of their ability. It was watching the movie, not focusing on anyone else.

"You think that boy with the animal speaking quirk sent it over?" Monoma asked.

"What class is he in?" Kendo felt she already knew the answer because he wouldn't care for any other class besides-

"One A."

"Ah."

"Hello owl friend! Are you going to AAAAAHHH!" The owl proceeded to peck at Mei, chasing her off of Izuku. The boy tried to help the best he could without hurting the bird, but it was incredibly elusive, slipping in between his fingers when he tried to trap it. It never drew blood, but no one wanted to screw around with it enough to find out.

"Wow, that was really rude. You shouldn'tAAHH!" The owl flapped back to Mei, screeching in her face like she insulted its mother. This went on for another two minutes before Mei got the message to stop talking and to sit quietly, much to her dismay.

With that brief window of silence, someone finally decided to join them. Ochaco emerged from Izuku's chest, leaving most of her guns inside him. Once she saw the owl she bowed heavily to it. "Thank you oh Guardian of Ga'hoole."

"Hoot."

With a large sigh, Ochaco slumped down on the blanket, grabbing a bucket of popcorn to herself.

"I was eating that." Monoma complained, but shut up when Kendo shook her head and pointed at the pistol still strapped to Ochaco's side.

"Nevermind, I should watch my weight anyways."

*BANG* "Uraraka! There you are!" Ida marched forward, giving an indecisive look at Midoriya. "I was wondering if-"

"SHHHHHHhhhhhhh. Movie." She pointed at the projector screen, with her gun, making everyone besides Mei and the owl freeze up.

"But-AAHHH!" The owl decided to focus its efforts on Ida this time, chasing him back into the dormitory.

"I like that owl." Tokage grabbed another handful of popcorn, shoving it in her mouth.

"Same." A chorus of replies came, except from Mei and Izuku. One who was attacked just barely from the bird and the other confused as to how that same owl tracked him down from over a hundred miles away.

Ahhhh, sweet slice of life. Also, Ochaco has a gun now, be warned. I wanted to get away from a bunch of big worrisome things for a little bit. So much has happened in the story and we need more little moments. Next chapter, an unexpected discovery.

I have gotten many requests overtime, but last chapter I got a lot more than I have in a while. There are plans to introduce more mech styles, and I love to hear suggestions, but damn do I already have a long list. Don't expect me to watch a show or movie just to incorporate whatever you recommend. Most likely I'll just google search an image of it and see if I like how it looks or not.

Now with a tv tropes thanks to Arakiisjogenius

Any questions, comments, or jokes are welcomed. As long as they're funny.

He's a person, a messed up human guy. Some will like him, some won't. I try not to write someone as a complete douchebag and instead make them more relatable to basic things and just have their moral compass point in a different direction.

Saramus92:

It's on the list now. Melissa will come into play next chapter, as for Mirko I have no plans for her.

Xyrothor:

Well, he hasn't conquered all doors, just the big ones. I like to think that Izuku's notebook is a secret quirk that breaks the laws of the universe.

Han-Daewi:

He won't become an android, but he will have an exosuit.

JDS62:

I haven't, I appreciate the ideas though. Shame I've got a long list to look through.

Kilo8:

Eh, it's already really close to his other gundam form and I'm trying to mix up the styles and not crossover with anything beastly.

Sweet Kagamine Kiss:

I highly recommend it.

Nobody Foot Soldier:

She is practically becoming a pilot at this rate. Yes eventually Izuku will get an exosuit but not for a while.

Random65:

I'm surprised less people do this, but then again there are a ton of people shipping Izuku and Shoto, which I don't sail on that boat.

Weeldx:

Thanks! Yeah, there's tons of robo designs to choose from, and plenty from the recommendations in here.

RunOnSentences:

I'd have to give Izuku a big robot villain first before I do any of that.

ZeroExia:

First Izuku needs to learn about the abuse.

Craask:

That's what I had in mind when I picked it. Plus I like the design the most out of all the Titans.

Creator of the multiverse:

When I wrote it I had more mute emotions about it at the time. Sure there were some scenes that could seem humorous, but overall I felt this background dread in it that I don't think I did well to put into it. I guess it kind of carried over my feelings from the funerals I've attended. Life is simply still happening, you go to the funeral, you get sad thinking about the person who died, and then you continue life. It's really weird and I never feel right when it happens.

Blaze1992:

I want to keep Izuku heavily limited for as long as I can that seems natural enough. I don't like quick progression for absolute OP control and power. It took Mirio an incredibly long time to master his power after all. Yes, I have thought of many more things to turn into and I'll put your recommendation in the "I'll check it out" pile.

There's something of an Iron Legion I have in mind, but it won't be anything like everyone else is expecting. Trust me.

Planar-Walking-Entertainment:

Yep, if Izuku managed to take it slow and no one caused further harm to him he would have figured it out. Not anymore though, his body is dependent on it to live. As to Monoma drifting with someone else, yes! It's hinted at in a different chapter where he's texting Kendo about training with her. He's referring to the drift that Ochaco and Izuku did.

No, Ochaco won't get her own BOT protocol. Monoma only managed to get a copy of it because his quirk was made to do that. I do plan on giving her a doped out costume though.

God of crossovers:

I'll check it out.

JustAnAverageGuy101:

He technically already has one, but he's basically trying to learn how to talk through something else that's not his normal throat. He knows what sounds he is supposed to make, he just needs to relearn how to do that.

Also, I'll check out your recommendations sometime. No promises because I've already got a big list of stuff for me to put in.
