My Iron Giant
-The Iron Titans-
Part 5
Ochaco leapt above a beam thrown at her, rolling behind a large slab of concrete that was broken up. It provided brief cover as she tried to take some shots at the villain.
Wolfram simply laughed, halting the bullets mid air without more than a thought. He then turned to Melissa who had leapt to punch him from behind, being stopped mid air as she struggled against his magnetic grip. "Your father has created such wonderful things only to have them collect dust. So tell me, what did he prize to have so much security for?"
"Like I'd tell you!" Melissa roared out, only to be thrown against a building.
"Maybe not without some persuasion." Wolfram pulled the armored girl out of the wall, tossing her into a small shop.
The man suddenly spun around, rebar shooting out from under him and gripping a wooden staff that Momo had made. "Hm, that was somewhat smart. Too bad I can still feel the metal in your hero costume!"
Tugging at the turbines attached to Momo's hips with his quirk, the girl was sent spinning until she crashed into Melissa getting up from the rubble.
"Mom, this is really really bad!" Luna informed her, panicking as she went over the suit's systems. "Servos and actuators are already experiencing sixty eight percent failure, power supply at twelve percent, and armor integrity is already less than twenty two percent! The Javelin wasn't made to handle these levels of magnetic forces!"
"We just need a window!" Momo called out, making a plastic based grenade from her stomach. Tossing the hastily made device Wolfram simply made a shield of metal to protect himself. When the smoke cleared, he smirked towards the girls.
"Let's see, which of you is least important?" He looked between Momo and Melissa, metal shards hovering ominously around him.
*Clonk*
"Argh!" Wolfram grabbed the back of his head, glaring at the one who dared throw something at him.
Ochaco had a weightless pillar in her arms, dozens of floating pieces of broken street in front of her. She smirked at him smugly, already hurdling the stones at the villain. He made a hasty sphere of metal around himself, the rocks dinging against the shield. Once the onslaught was over, he shifted the metal to make a large spear. "You have just volunteered."
*BOOM*
The entire island shook, everyone struggling to keep their balance from the sudden shift.
Under the island Izuku was glaring at Wolfram, watching the battle commencing above. Knight was on his shoulder, witnessing the same fight. They couldn't just throw themselves half haphazardly back into it, otherwise they might accidentally hurt one of their friends. That was until Izuku saw the metal spear being aimed towards Ochaco.
[Primary Directive: Protect -Nice Girl- AKA -Ochaco Uraraka-]
His eyes narrowed into red dots, glowing brightly as they locked onto their target.
"Stop! You'll pierce a hole in the island and leave thousands to drown!" Knight hastily called out right before Izuku fired. Fine, if he couldn't shoot then he would do something else.
Throwing a quick punch into the bottom hull of the floating island, he got his results. Wolfram's attack faltered enough to let Ochaco move once again. This wasn't a long term solution, he already damaged the integrity of I-island. They needed to beat Wolfram sooner rather than later.
"Throw me again, and follow my lead.." Knight commanded, Izuku grabbing the titan and moving to the island's edge to join the battle once more.
"What was that?!" Melissa kept looking around to find the source. It felt like I-island just crashed into a reef.
"I don't know, I'm not connected to the island's main systems."
A whistling noise started growing closer, Wolfram looking up to see something fastly approaching. Knight was rocketing through the air, all his weapons locked on the villain. He fired everything at once, rockets, bullets, anything to try and take out the target.
Wolfram clenched his fist, halting them all and keeping Knight in the air right in front of his face. "I'll dismantle you later, wait your turn."
"You're right, it's not my turn." Knight agreed with him, Wolfram quirking his brow in confusion.
"It's his."
A slight green shimmer reflected off his armored skin, alerting Wolfram to the danger above. Izuku came storming down with his foot ready to crush the man. Slamming the titan down, he held up his hands to catch the massive metal boot, gasping at the effort to stay alive.
"You should know that isn't going to work by now." Wolfram taunted, only for his eyes to widen in fear as the thrusters at the bottom of Izuku's foot started to glow brightly. In an act of desperation, he brought the frozen titan over to shield himself from the heat.
Izuku stopped, seeing his ally in the crossfire. In that moment of hesitation Wolfram used as much strength as he could to swing Izuku's foot and Knight back towards the sea. The giant stumbled, digging his fingers through the road to stop the villain from removing him. Wolfram used his quirk to grab the digits, unlocking them from the street and flipping Izuku back over to fall into the ocean with his smaller counterpart.
"Where did that big one come from?" Wolfram panted with sweat running down his face, not liking the fact that he had found the limit to his quirk with the enhancer active.
"Zuku!" Momo called out in horror, her friend flung away like a doll. She felt pure fear when his form clipped one of the still standing buildings, smashing right through it just to skip two more times like a stone on water and disappear once more into the black abyss of the ocean around.
"Hey, I recognize you now! You are that Princess of his from the festival, that one made me laugh so hard!" The mocking voice of the villain caught her attention. By instinct she started to go through all known to her elements, compounds, alloys and polymers.
"If I remember correctly you're a high priority target too, Sensei would love to get his hands on that quirk of yours! Maybe when I finish tearing your 'boyfriend' limb from limb I'll let you watch! Aren't you curious how that lumbering body of his works?" Wolfram continued, starting once more to laugh at the end as if he told the best joke ever.
Reaching to her waist, Momo disconnected the jump kit from the rest of her suit. Tossing it aside her limbs started to shine in the power of Creation, the destroyed shop she ended up in with Melissa's armor reflecting the display.
"Seriously? You're wide open!" With a cocky grin Wolfram gestured to the shattered robots that litter the ground with one arm. A rain of sharp fragments shot out into the shop, being stopped once more by Melissa's large round shield.
"You never learn do you? Aren't you supposed to be the clever one?" He huffed in annoyance. Raising his hand he grabbed the armored girl with his meta ability, the amount of metal in the suit being much less than he anticipated but still enough to use. He pulled her forward, intending to finish her off but a stream of bullets from Ochaco caused him to drop the blonde inventor to defend himself.
"Stop scurrying around!" He roared after spotting that the area he was attacked by was already empty. A roar of rocket engines caused him to look back to the two girls from before, both of them flying at him with alarming speed.
Reflexively at this point he raised his hands, stopping the charging blonde midair once more. Wolfram yanked at her legs sideways with his power, getting a satisfying crunch of metal in return. Seeing that the legs of the girl were bent at awkward angles he tossed her backwards only to realize that the approaching ravenette wasn't affected by his quirk at all.
With a roar of her own, Momo swung a heavy looking staff and hit him right on the torso. With a mighty impact , air left the man's lungs, but the metallic armor under his trenchcoat held firmly. Grabbing for the metal around he tried to hit the girl with a torrent of broken robot parts and pieces of the buildings.
Momo ignited the new engines on her gauntlets and boots, launching herself backwards from the attack.
"Ahahaha! That's more like it! I saw those toys in the festival, show me something new!" Wolfram taunted, starting to laugh again.
Hiding behind one of the buildings nearby, Ochaco looked nervously at the confrontation. She needed to go check on the blonde ASAP, especially after seeing that nauseating scene with her legs being twisted away.
She waited for an opening with slight awe as the raven haired girl pirouetted through the air, the engines around her body blasting away to jerk her from the way of an attack. Even from this distance the gravity defying girl could make out the glow of Creation from Momo's stomach, a large revolver-like weapon emerging.
"Is that a freaking…" With a barely audible 'thump' the weapon fired, and after half a second a white cloud bursted out near the villain. The man didn't stay idle, shooting upwards on a pillar made of steel and cables, some of them still connected to the buildings around. He reached to his back under the large coat and took out a small gas mask, quickly fastening it on.
"Psst!" With a sudden noise Ochaco spun, with a flowing motion her sidearm already pointed at the newcomer.
"Whoa! It's me! Don't shoot!" Melissa whisper-shouted, raising her own arms up.
"What? But… but your legs?! Are you alright?!" The brown haired girl immediately started to ask, inspecting the unharmed inventor before her.
"Luna is piloting it right now. I'm flattered that you think I wouldn't scream my tits off if something like that happened to me but we need to get to the control room on the central tower!" Melissa replied quickly, ducking behind the same cover as her new friend when a large explosion sent some shrapnel around.
"What about Momo-san? We can't leave her alone!" Ochaco raised her voice a bit, trying to talk over the cacophony that rose from the battlefield nearby. With audible shots from a large caliber gun she risked taking a peek.
The raven haired girl was still in the air, blasting around at incredible speeds and using the still standing buildings to change her trajectory at a moment's notice. The grenade launcher in one hand, firing clearly lethal explosive shells from time to time. In her other hand was a strange contraption looking like a belt fed automatic shotgun that was spewing flames with every discharge.
"She's going to be fine for now, I need to get to the control room. You will return here to help her after that." Melissa stated, but she was clearly nervous for her friend's safety too. "We need to get Luna in control of the whole island, that lunatic is ripping it apart and without any personnel on the bridge to operate the systems it will sink like a rock." She continued.
Giving a last glance to the still fighting girl, Ochaco slotted her weapons back into their places. "Let's go, I'll fly you there." She said while putting one arm around the blonde. Activating Zero Gravity on both of them, she shot the grappling hook into a building some distance away and pulled on it hard.
Taking her blonde friend away from the fight, Ochaco locked her eyes on the tallest tower on the floating fortress. It wasn't hard to miss, nothing came close to a fourth of its size. Well, one person did…
Shaking her head to disperse any distractions, Ochaco positioned her ankles behind her. Izuku was out of the equation for now, she couldn't rely on him solving everything with a simple wish. Knight, a walking tank, was being treated like a dollar store action figure. What she needed to focus on right now was what she could do. That was getting Melissa to the tower, restoring Luna to the security, get down to make sure Momo doesn't die, and somehow stop Wolfram without giant robot help. They'd figure it out, or else they'd die. If they hesitated, they would die. If someone stopped doing their job, they would all die.
If she couldn't figure out these boosters on her shoes they were going to die! Shaking her ankles violently, Ochaco wished she could get these things to take her where she needed to go!
'Neuroreceptors online.'
Huh?
'Activating (M)obility (A)ssistant (M)odule.'
Huh, wishing does work.
Jets of air spun through the mini turbines on her boots, propelling her far faster than she could simply leaping through the air. Her helmet projected a flight path ahead of her, straight to the destination.
"Which floor is it on?" She asked Melissa, who's hair was wiping around violently with the wind.
"WHAT?!"
"Which floor is it on?!" Ochaco yelled a little louder.
"THE TOP FLOOR!"
Of course it was. Ochaco tilted her upper body to the sky, her body course correcting to aim at the highest point of the skyscraper. The longer this took the higher chance there was of failure, Momo to die, Knight to be taken apart. Izuku to be left alone.
'Accelerating to maximum output.'
Ochaco wrapped the grapple line around Melissa, gripping deeply into the girl's arms so she wasn't left behind. The building approached rapidly, becoming larger the closer they got. Repositioning her hands to wrap under Melissa's arms, she brought her fingertips together.
"Release" Uttering the word from habit, the two felt their weight return.
Melissa clenched her fingertips into Ochaco's suit, holding it on out of fear of falling. In a few seconds they crossed two hundred feet, barreling right to a window.
Fifty, twenty, ten.
In one swift motion, Ochaco rolled forward and positioned her feet ahead.
*CRASH*
Her shins nearly snapped from the brute force, just enough of the impact taken by her boots and dispersed through the glass shards. They tumbled into the room, Melissa feeling some glass cut her skin until they rolled to a stop.
"Shit!"
Ochaco snapped her head up, there was someone in a chair startled by their abrupt entrance. It was a soldier, frozen while staring at the two girls. Ochaco's eyes shifted, spotting the gun laying against the computer next to him.
Hesitate or die.
Spinning over Melissa, she grabbed her side arm, lining the sights with the guy now diving to the weapon.
*BANG BANG*
One to the head, one to the stomach just below the vest. Quick, efficient, deadly. Standing to full attention, Ochaco kept her barrel trained on the unmoving man while approaching with caution.
'Reading vitals….Non functioning.'
"You just...did..." Melissa whispered out, finally catching her breath but hardly able to utter a sentence.
There were more important things to focus on. Ochaco swept her eyes around the area, the minimap of her hud enlarging.
"Scan the room." Her monotone voice ordered.
'Scanning….no threats detected within the building.'
Putting her pistol back on her hip, Ochaco walked over to Melissa and lifted her onto her feet with one arm. "Can you take over here?"
"He's...not moving." Melissa's eyes were stuck on the body, a red flood pouring onto the floor.
"Shield." Ochaco shook Melissa's shoulder, trying to get her to focus. "Are we good?"
Melissa slowly walked over to the man, kneeling in front of him. With a shaky hand, she began to turn him over. His eyes were still open, a hole right above his nose with a trail of blood. "He's...he's hardly any older than us."
"We need Luna back online Shield." Ochaco grabbed Melissa, pulling her back up harshly.
The blonde spun around, tears leaking from her face with a fiery temper. "How can you just ignore this! You didn't even hesitate to kill him!"
"That's the rule." Ochaco recited with no emotion, only firm resolve. She looked over the computers, seeing lots of complicated screens displaying the security of the island. "If I leave you here, will you get Luna in control?"
Melissa wiped her eyes, no longer willing to acknowledge the brunette whose face was hidden away behind her visor. "Yes, I don't need you here."
With those words Ochaco sprinted back to the window, tapping herself to become weightless, grappled the corner of the frame, and threw herself outside. Melissa turned to the computer, slowly walking over to it while trying to see through the water in her vision. Her foot kicked against something, the object hitting the bottom of the machine. Glancing down, a pencil with too much red on laid motionless upon the floor.
Izuku dug his fingers further into the side of I-island as he floated alongside it, watching everything that was transpiring. The one thing he could do with his massive body was fight, and not even that was an option right now. Knight paced back and forth along the side of the island, his main optic constantly locked on Wolfram's position.
They couldn't get closer, otherwise they would be flung back to the water. Attempting to shoot him from this distance gave him more time to block and rose the chance to catch Momo or Ochaco in the crossfire. All they could do was watch as the two girls used their maneuverability to dodge, leap, and avoid anything that would trap them in deadly shards of metal.
Knight stopped abruptly, facing Izuku as he stood straighter. "Throw me again."
"Useless." The giant spoke, clearly sharing the smaller one's frustration for the situation.
"Yes, but it might be enough of a distraction for them to-"
"We tried." Izuku replied, looking down at Knight. "Six times."
"We can't do nothing." Knight turned back to the fight in the distance, itching to shoot the man in the face.
"Need, better plan."
"We can plan while we act." Seeing that they had come to a disagreement, Knight began to march ahead willing to do things without any assistance.
While Izuku fully agreed with the desire to do something, he knew the risks that came if he messed up in the slightest degree. A tenth of the city was destroyed already from Wolfram throwing his giant body around or redirecting his firepower. There has to be a way to overpower his quirk.
Or, work around it. Izuku's glowing orbs widened slightly as it hit him, Wolfram's quirk used magnetic fields to manipulate the metal around him. If you take away the magnetic field…

The metal plates along Izuku's skin were briefly covered by a sheen of glowing green light, absorbing the minor particles that were naturally revolving around him. Knight stopped walking, detecting something different or a lack of from Izuku. He glanced back to the metal giant, who had no detectable magnetic properties. "Care to share what you just did?"
Eager to finally have an edge to the fight, Izuku nearly used his quirk to send it straight to Knight. He halted, unsure if it was wise. Whenever he interacted with machines, he would override every part of it. Knight was a living mind turned into a computer, the risk was too great. Instead, his eyes quickly zoomed to a discarded tablet covered in the dust of battle.
"¸,ø¤º°`°º¤ø,¸¸,ø¤º°"
Uploading the new technology schematics straight to the compact computer, Knight was able to access it himself remotely. "You may have to go ahead, I will need to find a significant amount of power to alter my chassis."
[One for All Energy Surge detected in Core]
[Redirecting to Exterior Outlet]
Inside the giant, Izuku's body was sparking heavily with the quirk's power all around him in arcs of green lightning. It traveled through the metal, the cables, running through the massive machine and straight into his chest. The massive sphere of pure power radiated through his frame, carrying energy to his exterior arms. Knight saw the impossible source being offered to him, unlimited potential in the palm of Izuku's hand.
He came forward, stepping into the lightning and absorbing it into his reactor. A cloud of highly charged nanites flowed out of him, glowing as if it was the breath of life touching his metal skin. It was an opportunity of a lifetime that he was going to take full advantage of the gift, upgrading with every design he had put on hold up until this moment. They were going to use everything to kick Wolfram's ass.
The villain sat on his makeshift throne, playing with the girls that danced against his every move. His mistakes before were letting them get close, or leaving his back unguarded. Now though, if they wanted to attack him it would have to be straight on. Not that he would let them of course.
Momo tried making another dash, shooting out more explosives directly from her skin in an attempt to let the projectiles carry themselves to their target. Wolfram put up another shield lazily, snakes of rebar flew to the girl who was forced to change directions in order to avoid being skewered.
He felt something small approaching at highspeeds. Not ignoring the threat he halted the bullets once again before they reached him. Following the path of origin, Ochaco was in the window of a nearby building. Clenching his fist, the frame of it collapsed towards the girl at an alarming rate. She grappled the pavement, zipping away before she was encased in an instant coffin.
This has taken long enough, his enhancer was already less than fifty percent power and there were still the metal men to dismantle. That big one was going to take a lot of juice if he squirmed around too much. Ten minutes straight he had chased them around, all while he hardly took a step along the ground. They were sprinting, jumping, dashing, performing several feats of acrobatics that took great stamina to pull off. Momo and Ochaco had been going at their top speeds nonstop, their hasty movements starting to show their bodies were becoming tired of the twisted game.
"I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to cut our fun short." Wolfram warned them with a grin. With surprising speed, twenty pillars suddenly shot out from under the island's surface and straight to the girls. They managed to dodge the first two, then three, but not fifteen at once creating a makeshift tidal wave of five foot thick steel. Momo and Ochaco tried to shoot to the sky, their thrusters carrying them above the buildings.
Ochaco was doing her best to control her breathing, her breath vanishing as soon as the moisture covered her lower visor. Weeks of running Snipe's obstacle courses had let her get this far, alongside the adrenaline that hasn't left her system for the last twenty minutes. She just focused on going up, away from the wave of metal threatening to take them. Being weightless helped, but with nothing in the sky to grapple all she could rely on were her thrusters.
Momo came closer to her side, the small engines in her briskly made gauntlets and boots propelling her away from the surface. The heat being generated by them was intense, starting to make the plating around them crack from the rising temperature. They were being pushed to their limits in order to escape death, carrying the heavy creation user into the sky.
Ochaco knew they weren't going nearly fast enough to get away.
"Uraraka!" Momo shouted while steering closer. Ochaco reached out with her own hand, not close enough to grab the ravenette. To close the distance she sent a grapple out to Momo who quickly grabbed the end.
Reeling herself in, Ochaco smacked Momo with one of her hands making her weightless. Now without the need to fight gravity, the thrusters on the taller girl's limbs carried them both much faster than either predicted. Swerving through the air they tried to find somewhere that could give them the advantage. They twisted around the pillars following them, rolling as they came back down to get cover in the city.
Wolfram keeps the metal on their tail, turning it into a large dragon head with several shards making up its teeth. It was right behind them, following at a faster rate than they could directly outfly. Momo focused on keeping their speed while Ochaco used her own thrusters to steer them between buildings. The makeshift dragon pursued them, rushing through the obstacles and absorbing the metal within itself by Wolfram's control.
The villain smiled with glee as the girls were forced to pull up, his pet ready to engulf them in its jaws.
The island was bathed in green light, a large beam taking the head of his beast and melting it to slag on impact. Wolfram had to look away if he wanted to keep his vision, but his eyes still widened as he could not feel the giant's presence. If he was coming, so was the other.
Taking all the nearby metal, he put up a dome around himself just in time to block heavy artillery that was being shot at him in rapid succession. He gritted his teeth as his hastily created barrier kept denting under the explosive impact. It took more strength than he predicted to manage to keep himself alive. Thoughts raced through his head, trying to understand how he no longer felt the walking metal that he could toy around with before.
Outside the dome, a large hand came through the air to intercept the girl's flight. Momo cut the active thrusters, letting them softly descend to his palm. Izuku rose them to be in front of his glowing visor, his gentle glowing eyes checking on the two. Ochaco returned their weight, sprawling out against the cool metal surface as she took her helmet off again.
"*huff* thanks *huff* guys."
Momo sat down and started to quickly shake off her jet-like boots and gloves. They broke when they hit the ground, heat steaming off the discarded tech. With her hands now free, she clicked her red tinted visor up to wipe the sweat off her brow. Looking back down she saw Knight standing over Wolfram's mini bunker, his guns still smoking as he glanced back up. The green was gone, the personal cosmetics all simplified with maroon and matted black plating over his body. The metal also appeared different, as the moonlight didn't seem to recognize his existence. Only the glowing eyes of the giant provided enough light to distinguish his features.
"You appear dehydrated."
"Yeah, I could use a drink." Momo huffed, the exhaustion catching up with her.
Knight and Izuku snapped their gaze up, a square shadow moving over the moon. A building was flying right at them! The giant slammed his arm in front of them across the ground, the structure crashing across his body. Once the brunt of it was taken care of, Knight jumped onto the limb and aimed his weapons ahead at a floating figure.
"Screw it, I thought maybe I could take you alive and deliver you all to Sensei. Right now though, I've lost all patience with you brats and sex dolls." Wolfram spoke aloud, everyone aiming a weapon at him.
More shadows moved along the sky, blocking out the stars. Several buildings were floating through the air, tons upon tons of metal hovering over them. One of them launched at them in an instant, Knight rushing over Izuku's shoulder to shred the building with heavy gunfire.
"Izuku!" Ochaco made herself weightless, jumping to his head in a single bound. Without needing to speak, the airlock opened and let her inside. She paused at the entrance, Izuku demolishing another projectile with a single punch.
"Aren't you getting in?" The brunette asked with her helmet in her arms, looking back to Momo, who stood by Knight, sending a volley of rockets at another floating building.
"I've got my own ride." She smirked, clicking her visor down over her eyes. Knight lifted his hand to her, gently carrying the girl into his cockpit.
After a few moments from her embarking something changed, Knight's metal sparking with bright light around his body. Four thrusters the size of his hands manifested themselves at the back and bottom of his shoulders. They bursted with flames, launching the titan ahead into the artificial storm of swirling metal.
A little taken aback from the sudden change of pace, Ochaco ran further into the headspace. An arm from the ceiling approached to greet her, Izuku's teenage body being moved to the side. There was hardly any time to waste. Cables acted like snakes from the arm, snapping into place around Ochaco as she put her helmet on. One last flexible pipe plugged into her helmet, her mind sharing its deepest thoughts and impressions instantly to Izuku. Her body was his, and he was hers.
The giant reopened its eyes, seeing Knight about to try and charge through the clouds of broken buildings under Wolfram's control. Two large rectangular prisms of matching tone created themselves on their back, bursting with green flame with glowing rings around them. Launching ahead of Knight, they slammed their shoulder into the buildings and allowed the Knight to fly unobstructed to Wolfram.
The villain raised his hands, tugging more buildings from their foundation and launching them into the sky. The four hundred foot tall giant held its hand out, a brief hologram in the shape of a large multi barrel gun took form until it left a very real gun with a lime green glowing chamber. Pulling the trigger, several blasts of liquid plasma launched forth, turning Wolfram's improvised weapons into mist.
Knight punched a hole in the cloud, taking aim at the villain. Wolfram saw the imminent danger, reaching deep and pulling every inch of metal under his control towards himself. If he was going to die he was taking this whole shitty excuse of an apple store resort down.
Knight and Momo flipped back, avoiding a piece of the enemy ship that was crushed moments ago. Panels separated off houses to float to their master, buildings, and even from the island itself. A massive sphere of highly condensed metal hovered above the island, as tall as the main island tower and several times thicker.
"RAH!" Throwing his arms down, Wolfram sentenced I-island to suffer for not submitting itself to his will.
"Stop it!" Momo shouted, horrified about the image in her mind of thousands trapped in shelters as they flooded.
"Gravity has already taken hold." Knightsimply said, keeping their focus on the main villain himself past the massive sphere.
The giant flew ahead, grabbing the sphere on one hand and rolling it onto their shoulder. With a mighty push, One for All surged with all of its energy to keep themselves afloat.
'Ditch the gun!' Ochaco's mind screamed, the giant responding with their movements to let go of the weapon. It vanished in a flash of light, something else taking its place in their hand. First, a hilt constructed itself in Jaeger's grip. A bright vibrant pulse of energy shot out, creating a continually arching blade of bright neon green energy.
They stabbed into the metal ball that made them appear small, burning a hole right in the center of it. The other end began glowing orange with the metal burning from within. Izuku and Ochaco pulled the sword out, the weapon vanishing as they were left to carry the heavy weight mid air on their shoulders.
"GO!"
With a roar of the engines on his back, Knight and Momo went straight through the hole that the giant made. They were approaching the end of it, the metal still red hot. Knight aimed his gun forward, shredding the final passage through the biggest piece of simmering steel. Momo and Knight exploded from the mess, bright sparking drops of liquid metal flying around them.
Wolfram collected whatever scraps were still around and tied them around Knight's limbs. He smirked, the veins around his face pulsing with the strain he was putting himself through. His strength was waning, trying to push his blunt object past that behemoth and crush the island below. Now, he finally restrained the other one that nearly got to him.
Floating himself closer to Knight, Wolfram squeezed the titan's limbs with rebar and other trash he scraped together. "You see now?! No matter what paintjobs you get, tricks you pull, it's useless! At the end of the day you are nothing more than a glorified toy! I'll rip you apart, and then kill everyone below! I'll be sure to start with that precious 'princess' of yours!"
"Oh, you don't need to bother going down for that." The Titan replied, the engines on his back shutting off.
"The fuck are you talking about?" Wolfram asked, feeling a bit of relief that the giant machine in front of him stopped it's struggle.
"She's right here." The Titan said, his torso slamming open to reveal Momo already jumping out. A new set of boots and gauntlets oh her limbs, long tongues of fire flowing behind her. She closed the distance in half a second, a powerful haymaker already centimeters from the villain's head.
"Fu-"
*CrAcK*
Izuku and Ochaco continued to keep the overweight ball bearing above the island. The flames ejecting from their back and feet retained their position in the air while illuminating almost everything around them. They couldn't even look up, the pressure resting against their neck, head, upper back, and arms. Right now all of their trust was in the other two as they made sure the residents below would be safe.
It would have been easy to shoot the villain before, but with his hold on the buildings in the air the moment he let go they would fall and demolish I-island further.
'Where can we put this thing?' Ochaco thought aloud without speaking.
Moving the giant's eyes without budging their grip, they scanned for someplace they could place their package gently.
Hospital, no.
School, no.
The main hub of I-island where everything was controlled, no.
Besides the residential area that was already one step away from becoming rubble, everything on the fortress seemed important to its functions.
'Well, there's always the amusement park.' The boy shrugged, Ochaco gasping at the implication.
'Come on! I wanted to ride some of those before we left!'
'Can't we do that in our own universe?'
'...yeah I guess.' The two now agreed, identifying the hardly necessary area. Floating their body towards the mountainous region, the weight on their back dropped significantly.
[Extreme Magnetic Force no longer detected]
They got him, they finally got the bastard. The flames keeping them in the air lessened, relying purely now on their rear thrusters as their feet hovered just above the park's open area. Touching down on the ground, the engines whined as they cooled down. The giant carefully rolled the would-be threat onto one hand, sliding it down to the ground and crushing a pirate themed ride.
Standing up straight, they saw Knight making his descent with his new thrusters, or more accurately, his and Momo's. They approached the giant as Izuku and Ochaco held their hand out, their bodies inside the headspace matching the action exactly. Once the Titan landed on the Jaeger's hand the cockpit opened, Momo stepping out and waving to them. Although, the giant lime orbs were more focused on the unconscious man in Knight's tight grip.
"You took him in alive?" Izuku and Ochaco's voices blended together, still booming over the powerful speakers.
"You're surprised by that?" Momo asked, questioning the other two's methods.
"I am." Knight admitted, looking towards the ravennette. "Izuku and I weren't exactly holding back any hostility towards the man. Though now we have a chance to have him properly interrogated thanks to you."
He casted his main eye over the scenery, doing one final scan of the area. "I am noticing one less life sign of the hostiles. We should do a perimeter sweep in case-"
"That was me." Ochaco's voice alone came from the Jaeger, the eyes shifting to more of a pink in synch with her words.
Momo paused at the statement, that sweet girl who shared a bed with just admitted to killing someone.
Without regret.
"Have you, done this before?"
"I have." Izuku said, the eyes going back to neon green.
The lack of distant stomping robots, gunfire, constant destruction, evil villain monologuing, now it was just quiet. No one looked at each other, not too sure how they were supposed to handle the information, or even if they should. Reality could be cruel sometimes, each of them forced at some point or another to make harsh decisions. Sometimes there were options that could benefit everyone, sometimes only some, and too often none.
"Everyone!" Melissa's voice came over the island's PA system, street lights starting to come to life where they were still functioning. "The island is secure, all emergency systems are online, and there will be care units dispatched to every shelter. Please remain calm and do not stray far from the bunkers. Heroes and security staff will perform screening to confirm identities of visitors and civilians in order to do a headcount. Once a full security sweep of the island has been performed you will all be allowed to return to non hazardous areas."
As the blonde's voice continued the instructions for the resident's safety, the group began making their way back to the main tower to report back in person.
Melissa pushed her way through the crowd, a small drone flying in circles around the blonde. From the moment Luna went offline the inventor was scared about the possibilities, every worst outcome about what happened coming to her mind. After hours of trying to connect to I-islands networks she managed to discover the invasion. Her Dad was a prime target, pretty much the one name that anyone could recall revolving around the floating city.
Part of her was still worried that she lost him, to some stupid trigger happy fool.
"Melissa?!"
Her head whipped around towards the voice, the dark making it harder to see who exactly was around. Though who could forget the man who raised them? "Luna, check the immediate area within fifteen meters."
"Yes Mom." Following her creator's orders, the drone activated a light to see the faces of the many people in the night.
"Dad?" She hesitantly called out, unsure if her mind was just making her unnecessarily hopeful.
She spotted it, a spot of brown ruffle hair briefly visible as a drone flew by. "Mom! I found grandpa!"
Luna locked on to the man, spinning in place with excitement. "You'renevergonnabeleiveitgrandpa!FirsteverythingwasdarkthenIcouldseeagainbutthenPapaanduncleturnedintosuperfightingmachineswithbiggunsandrocketsandbulletsandlasersandbeatupabigball-"
Melissa charged through, sprinting to the man before her. "Dad!"
Hearing his daughter's voice, David's parental instincts kicked in and spun to the area he heard his daughter. As soon as he spotted her, he ran forward, not taking his eyes off her. Soon they found each other in one another's arms, holding them tightly in fear they would never get another chance. All the emotions that Melissa held in finally burst, the girl crying into her father's chest.
He stroked her hair, rocking her back and forth as he was washed over with relief. Luna kept circling them, gently pushing the drone into their bodies to try and simulate a hug.
*stomp*
A gentle shockwave sparked murmurs in the crowd, afraid of either a new invader or something failing.
*Stomp*
A slightly larger one got them to gasp, David holding Melissa a little tighter.
*Stomp, Stomp, STOMP*
Something was coming towards them through the dark, blocking out some of the stars. The top of it turned, a light coming into view. At first it looked like a lighthouse, until they made out two large eyes moving to face them with a greater light in its chest. Everyone was frozen, Melissa not by choice due to how her father was hovering over her protively.
Luna zoomed forward, happily swerving from side to side. "Oh hey! It's-"
*BOOM*
Knight slammed in front of them from the sky, his center eye narrowing as he stared into the crowd.
"AHHHH!" In sheer shock mixed with terror, no one was thinking properly as they began to panic.
"Hey Papa! Where's Mom?" Luna flew in front, then turned around to see Melissa, then turned back around. "Not that Mom, other mother. Tall Mom."
Instead of replying, he opened up his chest, Momo stepping out still dressed in her combat gear. A small figure floated down to them, until they could make out Ochaco stepping down to the ground armed with her weapons. Between the massive thing that towered over them, the walking tank, and the two girls that looked ready to take a country apart the crowd was about to start running. A few local heroes and guards started to rush forward, acting on their training.
David then recognized Knight and Momo, his muscles relaxing as his heart began to calm down. He gave them a little wave, then stood up to approach Knight. "Good to finally meet the technological wonder."
The man then leaned his body to the side to look past the Titan, the massive super sized Jaeger standing behind them. "Is that your, big brother?"
Ochaco chuckled, immediately liking the comparison.
"I'm pretty sure Zuku is older." Momo noted aloud, the Izukus simply blinking at one another until they both shrugged.
"Papa." Melissa got up to stand next to her father and motioned to the four. "You know Momo and her childhood crush-"
"Hey!"
"-but these are some new friends we made who helped us, Midoriya Izuku and Uraraka Ochaco. They're from another dimension."
David Shield, THE David Shield decided that his daughter had a habit of getting herself involved with things that were rewriting their understanding of...well just about everything now. The sun's rays started to peak over the horizon, orange rays slicing between the buildings or through many holes from the chaos. The giant's body contrasted it like a large silhouette, only the outline of his frame being shown to them along with his eyes. Below him Knight crouched with his gun's stock resting on the floor as he held it steady. Ochaco and Momo stood together, taking off their helmets and holding them beside their bodies.
With their audience now realizing these weren't threats, but the ones who liberated them from captivity, they were in reverence for the ones who stepped in to save them.
"Hey Mom?" Luna floated next to Melissa.
"Yes?"
"May I say a swear word?"
Melissa gave the artificial intelligence a look, a 'not so sure I understand or like it but I'm too tired to care because I've been involved with too much shit lately' look. "...fine."
"Our family is badass."
*click*
A man in the front took a picture, managing to get the four in the same shot. Ochaco, having seen what he did, whispered to Knight. "Could you get us a copy of that?"
"I'm sure I could, along with the other eighty seven pictures that they have captured so far."
*click*
"Make that eighty eight."
"Hoot."
The brunette paused, slowly turning her head to look at her other shoulder. There, perched on the gravity defying teen was a white owl. It reminded her of a snowy owl, but it was pure white with two large feathers resembling horns just like a very familiar owl.
"Where the everloving All Might did you come from?" Holding out her hand to its head, the owl fluffed its feathers as Ochaco began to pet it.
"How..did it follow?" Izuku spoke from above, his voice reverberating through the audience's bodies. He crouched down, his eyes zooming in and running various scans on it.
Perfectly normal, nothing sticking out about it. The owl twisted its head around, staring back at the giant with no fear.
"Hoot."
It mocked him.
"Are we having another interdimensional crisis right now?" Knight asked with more intrigue than concern.
"Nope!" Melissa walked away, throwing her hands up in defeat. "I've already had my fill of multidimensional bullshit. The experts can have it."
"Um." Momo put a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Aren't you the expert?"
The blonde groaned, the weight of responsibility beginning to crush her brain. Sometimes it sucked being smart.
Something large shifted, David taking his eyes off the confusing yet humorous display before him and turning to what was causing it. The giant was moving a tilted building with his finger back into place, the furniture shifting within it as loose rubble rolled off. Taking a risk and approaching the boy, he hollered up to it. "Excuse me!"
The massive head turned, the eyes giving him the attention he requested.
"How long do you think you can stick around?"
So, reconstruction of I-island began to take place. Once Knight placed the still unconscious Wolfram in one of I-islands specialized quirk negating chambers, now under armed guard until the locals figured out what to do with him, he joined the others in their efforts.
Being the man who helped build the island, David was in charge and assigned different people to different areas and making the final decisions on what places needed to be fixed immediately, what could be done overtime, what could wait, and finally what new changes they needed to implement to make sure something like the invasion never happened again. It helped that the place was full of top engineers from every area.
Ochaco supervised the larger projects while hovering around them with her quirk, sometimes coming down to ease the burden by making the equipment or supplies lighter. Her experience with her parent's construction company was incredibly useful, letting her identify any concerns in integrity and laying out the next immediate task.
Izuku was able to give a helping hand by lifting entire walls or tougher buildings back to their position, holding them in place as he used his heat vision to weld the frames back together with incredible precision. Knight stayed near him, able to syphon off the giant and use his nanites to make quick work of electricals and plumbing.
Momo was being given an all you can eat buffet provided by fourteen assigned cooks as she continually created new furniture or materials that were too damaged to be salvaged. Those were then carted off by several security and construction robots under Luna's control.
Melissa was at a computer with eight different monitors, giving Luna the instructions on what supplies needed to go where and being the middle person for communication for everyone. If someone reported new damage to an area, she could divide manpower or have someone deliver supplies within ten minutes. When a project was completed, she could divert those men to a new area and already have Luna deposit the supplies they would need by the time they got to the site.
They may have stayed a day or two, abusing the pass they got from Nezu, but with their assistance over ninety eight percent of I-island was rebuilt. With a new attraction at the amusement park built inside and around the massive metal sphere.
Ochaco really enjoyed being back in an orange safety vest and hardhat, well she used her hero costume helmet because of all the fancy features and clipped the thrusters on her work boots but it was handy. She sat on Izuku's shoulder, biting into a sandwich as she dangled her legs in the air. Next to her were the two other girls and the Titan sitting awkwardly in place.
"Do we have to be here?" Knight asked, Luna hovering by with a tray of gatorade. He was referring to Izuku and himself, the giants that hardly needed any kind of rest or food.
"Yes." Momo simply stated, eating her ninth boxed lunch gifted to her by one of the many mothers on the island.
"We're pretty much done already." Melissa said, munching on a granola bar while looking at a tablet. "Everything else is still in discussion, and some even needs to be run through international owners."
"Hoot." The mystery owl layed another stick to the adding pile on the edge of the shoulder plate.
"Should we go back?" Izuku spoke in a lower volume but equally strong voice to his friends.
"Hmmm, I don't know." Ochaco leaned back, laying against the neck piece while taking another bite of her meal. "I mean, technically they have classes but we don't. When did your Nezu said he wanted us back?"
Melissa didn't look her way, instead bit harder into her bar and ignored her. Momo noticed her best friend's silence towards Ochaco, but there hardly seemed like a private moment to bring it up. Finally the ravenette answered the brunette. "Sooner rather than later. I'm sure that Melissa's father has already reached out to him about why they allowed their daughter to enter a war zone. We also haven't informed any of our classmates about our sudden disappearance."
"I'm sure either the principal or All Might himself handled their concerns. If he gives his approval, I don't see anyone arguing against it." Knight summarized, looking back out towards the ocean.
It was serene, peaceful, a moment of simple labor for everyone and nothing else. They could feel the warm rays against their skin, the salty air filling their noses, for the ones who ate it was tempting to take a nap right then and there.
Ochaco could feel herself about to drift away, the wonderful dreams ready to accept her. While she dreamed of random things here and there, most of it was taken over by the desire to be among the stars without impending doom. "Man...I want to go to space again…"
"Space?!" Luna nearly took Ochaco's head off as she sped to the girl. "Can we go to space?! Let's go right now!"
Izuku rotated his head, gazing at his friends who sat with him, or more accurately on him. If they were going to be going back to UA, why not take a detour?
Melissa found it really hard to be upset with Ochaco right now. They haven't talked about, it, ever since it happened. Yet when there's a view like that ahead all of Earth's problems seem so small.
"Wow." Momo placed her hand against the visor, gazing out at the planet from above. "You're right, the ocean does remind me of this."
"WE'RE IN SPAAAACE!" Luna was about to break herself as the little drone could not sit still. The fact that she was now in a place where very few humans have been was incredibly exciting. In fact, with so many satellites above their homeworld machines outnumbered people easily. There was a special antena attached to the little body, specially designed and produced by the combined efforts of Melissa, Izuku, Momo, and Knight, making Ochaco feel a little dumb again.
"Yeah, it's really great." Ochaco commented from her bean bag, not getting up from it as soon as they entered. Even if she wasn't the smartest in the headspace, the fact that she could still be here was rewarding enough.
Melissa looked over the expansive landscape, the stars so much easier to see when they're not in a bustling city. There was so much beauty that has thrived on this small little planet, but it was being overrun by war, guns, violence. Gazing down at her feet she still tried to wonder why, why would people decide that they needed to own it instead of just seeing it?
"Melissa?" Ochaco tried gently calling out to her, the blonde giving her a sideways glance.
"You wanted to come to space right?"
"Of course." She agreed instantly, Melissa eyeing the cushion under the girl.
"So why aren't you coming up here to see it?"
Ochaco grinned, scooting over and patting the spot next to her. "Try it."
Out of either curiosity or some other influence, Melissa made her way over to it. It was possible for some people to like to buy super expensive recliners and just watch life go by while hardly going anywhere. Without them those people no longer feel the joy out of anything without having their cushioned environment shaped to their body from sitting for so long. Melissa wouldn't be like that, she was going to experience what life was all about through either inventing things or helping to save the world. Nothing was going to keep her grounded….
"I don't want to ever leave." Melissa spoke as she relaxed further into the beanbag.
"Yeah." Ochaco lazily agreed, smiling with content in her position.
The two girls simply stared out into space, just absorbing it all from the best seat in multiple realities. As the minutes ticked by, Momo finally turned her gaze away from the screen. She could have gone and talked to Melissa, but she seemed very comfortable with Ochaco. No need to disturb them.
Instead, she approached Knight and Izuku, who's height differences were now reversed. Luna was hovering in front of Izuku, spouting off a thousand ideas per minute.
"What about faster than light communication?! That way I can send a bunch of me's out into the solar system and be on all the planets at the same time!" Luna announced, excited to be the first one on every planet.
"You would still need a way to get there." Knight humored her, enjoying the now safe daughter's words.
"Hey you three." Momo waved as she came to them.
"Hello princess." Her Titan greeted her. "Enjoying the view?"
"Yes, very much so." She then gave a short bow to Izuku, who averted his eyes from her, well, personal cushions. "Thank you for bringing us here."
'You're welcome.' The floating text appeared in front of him, his shyness rising back to the surface.
"Isn't it just like the video feeds!" Luna charged up to the screen, then back again.
Momo nodded her head, smiling at the adorable AI. "It is, though I expected us to be floating around, or even feel the acceleration necessary to come up here, or the cramped cabins in the rockets."
The more she listed the reasons, the more blank faced Izuku became. Momo stopped abruptly, realizing what exactly she was saying and who she was saying it to. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be rude or anything."
'I get it, it's not as immersive as you'd like.' His smile was anything but happy, it was accepting his failure.
"It's still a wonderful view! I'm sorry!"
After remaining in orbit for a few more minutes the giant flew back down into the atmosphere, this time not burning up in reentry. The giant soared through the sky, propelled by the flames ejecting from his feet. As they approached the city, Izuku began to descend lower and lower, flying straight over many buildings during the day. Once above the UA property, he threw his legs forward and braked immediately. He took special care not to burn the grass, but the wind pressure he generated did blow away the cup out of Kaminari's hand who was standing right outside the dorms.
The poor boy was frozen as he watched the massive metal man simply, arrive without any kind of warning.
"HOLY SHIT!" It finally caught up with him, the boy rushing back inside to tell everyone the news.
Exiting the airlock on the side of Izuku's head and onto his hand, everyone stepped out with Luna following them without much thought. The AI had been oddly quiet for the last ten minutes, only speaking when spoken to.
Knight stepped off first, handing out his hand for Momo to gently sit in and let him bring her to the ground. Melissa slid down the metal, stretching when she landed on her feet. "Ok, I found something else to add to my 'need to make ASAP' list."
"Told ya." Ochaco smirked at the blonde, putting her helmet on a clasp on her belt.
"Hey guys?" Momo interrupted them, pointing ahead to something. "Do you know if there were any plans to build a tree-house?"
Everyone looked ahead, seeing that there was indeed a tree-house near the support studio workshop. It wasn't new by any means, or simple. The trunk of the tree had a door with a round glowing window that looked like it was part of the plant, not put into it. A ladder along the side stretched up to a small bundle of branches, woven together to make a small area for someone to climb into.
Now concerned with the unknown element in UA, Knight and Izuku proceeded to investigate it.
[Scanning….Tree-house detected]
It said no more, no internal readings, no material identification, just stating what they clearly saw it as. Izuku tried again, his sensors not giving him any details, just that it was a tree-house.
"We have intruders." Knight rushed ahead, already bringing his gun into his hands.
Izuku looked over to where he was going, and sure enough seeing through the walls of the support studio there were three people inside. One was Mei, already awake and chatting away while looking at a screen. Another was a small drone hovering around. The next was a blue haired girl Izuku knows he's seen before, and he could. He could see another one of her in the third year dorm buildings. The last one though, was what made him move.
It was someone that looked like himself. Green curly hair, perfectly symmetrical freckles, everything besides a scar over the side of his head.
An impersonator, intruder, invader, villain, whatever they were obviously they broke into UA while they were gone and were now helping themselve's to Knight's leftover technology. Knowing he couldn't fit even his foot inside the building, Izuku decided he needed to shrink back down.
[Uploading previously designed exterior]
All the metal plating across his skin shifted, compressing and reforming to recreate his image as his Titan form. The girls were already sprinting ahead as he was becoming smaller, thirty feet ahead of him. He caught up in a single bound, grabbing Ochaco and throwing her onto his shoulder as he took hold of Momo and Melissa.
Izuku never liked fighting, but he ended up doing a lot of it.
As the kickass group left to intercept the unwelcomed guests, Kaminari managed to lead a few of his classmates outside the main dorm doors. "Come on! It's right out here and massive! I'm telling you it's over a hundred meters!"
The boy threw his hands forward, where he last saw the giant.
A few of the residents that decided to follow him were disappointed, but not surprised.
Jiro rolled her eyes at the stupidity incarnate. "Pretty sure you fried your brains again. What, did you try absorbing power from a gamestation?"
"Huh?" Kaminari looked to where he was motioning, noticing a lack of awesomeness.
"Maybe you should get some rest." Shiozaki offered in concern.
"Dang it! It was too good to be true." Mina whined, already heading back inside.
"No, wait! It's probably still around." The electric generator sweeped his eyes over the area, hoping that it might just be in the trees.
"If it really was that tall, couldn't we see it from here?" Izumi asked, putting her notebook away.
The teenagers went back inside, leaving the poor blond outside to search for the big robot.
Izuku never liked trouble, but he always found himself involved in it. The Time Lord under the name Izuku Midoriya arrived with his companion, Nejire Hado arrived to where they found the source of the phenomena and discovered a very familiar environment. As Izuku scanned the destroyed technology in the vague shape of an arm with his sonic device, an artificial intelligence was asking question after question along side a Mei.
"So you still have a human Midoriya in your universe?"
"Yep. He's a cyborg now, or has been for some time. I should probably find him." Izuku scratched his head, not taking his eyes away from his work. Geez this was really beat up, no way were they going to get it to signal back to its owner. Though with the signs of second generation nanotech and the fresh particle pocket traces it shouldn't be too hard to find the creator if they were still on world.
"My turn!" Mei grabbed Izuku's arm, her eyes zooming deeply at his tool. "How does this manage to use sonic frequencies to interact with electrical equipment or even computers?! I understand how it could be used as a screwdriver but that shouldn't translate to wavelengths of light. This also lights up while you use it so-"
"Hey! We agreed one question at a time! I still wanna know why uncle looks like a Midoriya if he's an alien and already has a Midoriya!" Luna complained, smacking herself against Mei.
"Ouch! Well it's the martian's fault for not letting me reverse engineer his time machine with dimensional resizing properties! I have to find something else to harvest to make new babies!"
Nejire grabbed the pink headed lunatic, pulling her off Izuku so he could get back to work. "Why don't you try making your own sonic screwdriver first? You already saw how it works."
"Because I need to understand the fundamental principles first!"
Izuku reached into his pocket, pulling out a UA issued thumb drive. "Here, this should satisfy her."
Mei stopped her squirming, grabbing the data and looking it over. "This doesn't look alien."
"I'm Mei's teacher in another universe. That's a copy of some of the things she worked on that she submitted for assignments. Of course she's made lots of upgrades since then but that should get you started on sonic technology along with hardcell batteries, particle compression, electron field manipulators, and sodium computers for AI." Izuku listed on his fingers, realizing that maybe he had been letting Mei advance earth science a little too much too early.
"Like me?!" The drone zoomed up to the Time Lord, the boy giving her a small pat.
"Yep, like you. Except instead of a big room to house your mind in she could fit it into a single android. We call her Mayday, short for Maid-A." The Time Lord smirked, feeling the giddy energy reverberating through Luna.
He felt the ground suddenly shake, something hitting the earth and making its way over incredibly fast.
"No! They're not gonna take me away from here!" Mei latched onto Nejire, wailing on the bluenette.
"What is it?! Where would they take you?! Is it a bad place?!" Nejire spouted off in rapid fire, grabbing the girl and starting to let her quirk charge around them.
"I'm not supposed to be in here, but I had to find out what happened so I can make a super teleportation baby!"
The alien sighed, not specifically worried anymore if it was just someone supposed to babysit Mei was coming. "Luna, correct?"
"Yes new alien uncle who accidentally looks like an Izuku despite not really being an Izuku?" The cheerful drone replied, still hovering around the Time Lord.
"You don't seem too concerned right now." He stated while looking to where the noise was approaching. "Who's coming over?"
"Papa and my super duper family!….oh, I forgot to tell them you were here."
*CRASH*
Mei and Nejire jumped in place, the girl's hero training kicking in and placing herself in front of the inventor. Izuku ducking under one of the large blast doors that sailed over his head. Luna floated next to him, examining the alien for any injuries. The Time Lord examined the newcomer, their appearance and size matching a near future military unit that was used in his own universe. The arm's design was similar to how he guessed the one he had been scanning should have looked.
The problem was though, the 'Titan' had a big gun pointed at him.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!"
Rude instant demands, check. Not caring about collateral damage, check. Willing to use over compensating weapons on unarmed civilians, check. Yep, definitely human. Izuku really hoped he wasn't becoming racist against a species that he was currently dating.
"Papa! You won't believe it!" Luna flew up to the tank with legs in eager happiness. "It's another Uncle Izuku from another universe! He told me so many thingies about space and cosmos and planets and apples and…"
As the AI continued on, Izuku saw that this was a chance to make sure no one died before things were cleared up. Pulling out his sonic screwdriver, he held it just in front of himself.
*Brzzzzz*
Seeing the multiple barrels along the gun lock up, the Time Lord along with Mei and Nejire finally stopped holding their breath. Maybe now they could have a civilized conversation.
"We come in peace." Short, sweet, to the point. Izuku put his tool away and started to feel another set of stomps arriving. There were more of them, oh boy.
A flash of green light came from Knight's back, the Titan pulling out a long sword with one arm.
Oh Boy
Folding his arms behind his back, Izuku stared down the much taller weapon while fiddling with his watch. Two options, either dawn the hero outfit with better tools to take down the Titan or activate the invisibility perception filter. Probably the latter.
"Yes!" Nejire cheered, coming up next to Izuku. "I always wanted to meet a transformer!"
"Not a transformer." The alien corrected under his breath.
"It was your only and last warning." The Vanguard class Titan stated with finality, tossing the giant gun to the side, not caring for any damage it could cause. Hefting his thirteen foot long blade in one hand, one of his legs sliding backwards into a stance. His weapon appeared to be generated from the very nanites using an energy to matter conversion matrix based off the industrial patterns.
Both Nejire and Izuku now recognized there was no talking out of this or appearing nonthreatening. The periwinkle girl started to hover with spiraling yellow wisps under her feet, larger ones building around her hands. The Time Lord clicked a button on his watch and gently twisted a knob.
"Hoot."
An owl, no it wasn't an owl, but it looked like an owl, rested on the edge of the blade. Luckily its appearance confused the mech, making it focus on the bird rather than themselves.
The feathered friend rotated its head, facing the Time Lord himself.
"Hoot."
"I know right?" Izuku agreed, easing up on his watch. "Thanks for that, I think we can finally talk things out."
*stompstompStompStompSTOMPSTOMP*
Another Titan carrying an Ochaco, Melissa, and Momo dashed in through the open hole. Momo and Melissa were set down as Ochaco leaped off, aiming her gun at his head. Izuku kept his eyes on Ochaco, the girl bore remarkable similarities to the one he knew.
This one though, he knew was willing to kill without hesitation.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Ochaco asked on behalf of the group, double taking when she saw the owl and putting her focus towards it. "And what the hell are you doing here?!"
"Hoot."
"He's trying to get you home." The Time Lord answered on behalf of the owl.
"Hoot."
"Sorry, she's trying to get you home. I wonder how we managed to find a trail so easily." Scratching his head, Izuku now saw that there were a lot of confused faces around him. Not that it was any different than any other day of his life.
"Do you speak owl?" Nejire asked, now lowering herself to the ground.
"Yes, but she's not speaking owl."
"I'm sorry." Momo massaged her temple, examining the scene before her. "Could you please tell us what you're doing here?"
"Thank you!" The Time Lord shouted while giving the girl his full attention now. "You actually used your manners and didn't point a gun at me."
Guilt spread over Ochaco's face, the girl now lowering her side arm.
"Hey! It's you!" Mei sprinted to the owl, uncaring for the blade inches from her chest. "You've been in my dreams since the explosion!"
"Hoot."
"Seriously? You want to share that knowledge with her?" Izuku asked with grievance. He couldn't supervise every Mei he met.
"Hold on." Melissa pinched her nose, taking another look at the owl, Mei, and a Midoriya look alike. "One, owls can't talk, two who are you?! Three, they can't visit people's dreams. And four, will you please tell us what we're doing here?"
"Ah, right." Izuku patted his pants, wiping the dust off them that collected from Knight kicking in the door. "In order, she's not an owl-"
"Hoot."
"-and I'm an alien from another dimension. You can call me Izuku Midoriya, unless you already have one, then things are going to be really confusing."
"Two excluding Izumi." Ochaco informed him. "She's basically a gender swapped Izuku."
"Great." Izuku groaned. "So there's four Izuku's in this universe right now with me here. That's double my own on a good day."
"Why do you have two?" Momo probed, holding her hand onKnight's blade to gently lower it down. She gave a very worried look to her friend, who had not eased up on his own despite there clearly being no threat.
The owl repositioned itself on Mei's shoulder, the pinkette already familiar with the bird somehow.
"Their human Izuku is a cyborg and he's an alien who can change his face! Isn't that cool?!" Luna answered before the Time Lord could.
"Aw, I wanted to answer that. I actually know about regeneration and all that Time Lordy stuff." Nejire whined, her Izuku deciding to resume the previously asked questions.
"Well, I arrived to figure out what interdimensional crisis happened. I'm probably the closest thing to an expert on the matter you're going to find."
"Hoot."
"Besides a fifth dimensional being of course."
Melissa came up to the Time Lord, giving him a hug without warning. Nejire puffed her cheeks, ready to blast the blonde away.
"Finally, someone with answers!" Melissa cried out, tears of joy leaking from her eyes.
"Um, yes." Izuku pushed her off, feeling the threatening gaze of his companion. "First off, who's not supposed to be here?"
"Us." The Ion class titan stepped forward alongside Ochaco. Izuku looked the titan up and down, before coming to a conclusion.
"I'm assuming you're an Izuku?"
"He sure is." Ochaco patted his metal leg, grinning up to his main optic. "The best in my opinion."
She widened her eyes, realizing all the others in the room. "No offense Knight, martian Izuku."
"I'm not from mars." The Time Lord grumbled, before getting glomped by Nejire.
"Well I think my Izuku is better. He spent two thousand years trapped in a multiplanetary system to make sure I was free!"
Ochaco scowled, tapping herself to float in the air before landing on her own Izuku's outstretched hand. "Well my Izuku can turn into a four hundred foot robot and fly us into space!"
"Ha! My Izuku is from space!"
Momo quietly sighed, stepping forward to try and break up the squabble. "Why does there need to be a best Izuku? Can't we agree each one has their own strengths and weaknesses?"
"Ok, but mine's easily stronger." Ochaco folded her arms, not stepping down from her literal high ground.
"I don't recall yours winning an arm wrestling match." Momo whispered as she began to walk away, but unfortunately a little drone heard her.
"Mom says that uncle still didn't win the arm wrestling match."
"OH COME ON!" Ochaco yelled up, now pointing directly at the tallest girl in the room. "He was hardly at his best and you know it! If they had a match with their best selves, aka, my Jaeger Izuku, Knight would be crushed under a single finger!"
"That's it!" Nejire clapped her hands, overjoyed now that she came to a solution. "Why don't we have our Izuku's arm wrestle! The winner is the best!"
"Nejire." The Time Lord pulled her to the side. "I would literally die."
"You have extra lives though yeah?"
"That's not how it works!"
"Relax." The bluenette waved him off. "You can just sonic them or something or do some hacking or anything else."
"Chess?" Ion Izuku suggested.
"It certainly would be of no danger." Knight agreed.
"Sorry, no can do." The Time Lord turned them down, the two titans looking at each other in confusion.
"Why?"
"Because it wouldn't be fair to you two." The green haired boy answered like it was fact.
"I highly doubt that." Knight vocalized in slight annoyance.
Melissa grabbed a seat, putting her face in her own hands. All she wanted to do was figure out what was really important, not which Izuku can beat the other Izuku at what so on and so forth. A maniacal giggling came to her left, the blonde scared to turn to see what was happening. She still did, finding Mei pulling up files from a student issued usb with the owl on her shoulder.
Taking a peak at what was on the screen, the inventor was stunned. Ideas, drafts, schematics for tech she never imagined before. All in the standard support course assignment format, human understanding and not quirk generated. Finally, something good she could use.
Luna took one last photo of the group with a separate drone, that way she could be in the picture herself. "Ok, I'm relaying the photos over direct wifi. These are the best family photos ever! Too bad Grandpa couldn't be here."
"I think he would have a heart attack." Melissa admitted, knowing how obsessive her father could be over new technology and discoveries. She was his daughter after all. Looking around she marveled at the amazing machine she stood in now, the foreign vessel much, much bigger on the inside.
After they barely managed to avoid a triple Izuku standoff, they managed to click rather fast with one another. The girls even gave the two Izukus that still went by Izuku nicknames. The one that could turn into massive multi hundred foot robots was Mechadoriya, while the one who had a time machine was called Timey Whimy. They shortened it to Timey soon after.
That's when Timey invited them to hang out in his 'TARDIS' as they sorted things through. They didn't believe him at first when he said they could all fit in the tree-house that the door alone would prevent Knight and Mechadoriya from entering. To Nejire's personal satisfaction, they were proven wrong. Through a long winded explanation that made no sense from Timey, they saw space bend to fit Knight and Mechadoriya in with no damage or side effects to the two.
Nejire gave them a tour of the time machine that was bigger on the inside, showing them a pool, workshop, photo gallery, kitchen, her room with her 'jelly babies' that were alien jellyfish, a garage, a dressing room bigger than a mall, personal theater, game room, and so many others.
*clap* "Right!" Timey gathered their attention as they returned to the main console room. Mei still played with a discarded alien tool that she was still trying to reassemble and figure out, but was still present as she was being guarded by Melissa and Luna. The owl hanging out in the corner of the room on a loose cable dangling from the ceiling. "We can't stay much longer, otherwise we won't be able to get back to our own home. So, if you have anything left to say, please do so now."
"How?" Ochaco asked sincerely, slightly sorrowful to lose her new friends. "We did so much together. How could we just say goodbye not knowing if we'll ever be back?"
Turning to Momo and Knight who stood together, Ochaco's frown deepened. A gentle metal hand rested on her shoulder, Mechadoriya giving what comfort he could to her. The Ion titan looked at the other two, the boy within smiling gently.
"Thank you. You, helped us feel..at home. Got to see, All Might again."
"I'm happy for you." Momo said to the teen. "I never got to meet your All Might, but I'm sure he would be proud for what you did here. You were never obligated to help us, but you did anyway, both of you."
"Your assistance at I-island was greatly appreciated. It would have been even more difficult to face Wolfram without the upgrades you shared or you covering for us." Knight admitted to them, looking over to Mechadoriya and giving a nudge towards Ochaco. "Keep her safe."
"Protect her." Mechadoriya mentioned, glancing back and forth from Momo to Knight.
"Oh, Momo?" Ochaco began. "Thanks for the clothes, and helping to make my new hero suit. It's kickass."
"It was my pleasure." The ravennette bowed with respect, then glanced between the two titans. "I know you two would hear me if I whispered, but may we have a brief moment of privacy?"
Knight nodded, turning around as Mechadoriya did the same. Momo then took a few steps closer to Ochaco. "I worry for your Izuku, I don't think he really wants to fully change back. Or at least let too many people talk to his real face."
"yeah..I had a hunch." Tapping the back of her head, Ochaco let out a quick sigh. "When we connected for the drift again, I could tell how much he liked that no one could see his body and read his facial expressions. With his outer body he can control how it looks at will. It makes him feel like All Might, always looking strong and confident."
"That makes sense." Momo hummed, before Ochaco glanced at Knight.
"Also, I think your Izuku is getting tunnel vision." The brunette informed Momo.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, my teacher Snipe, or drill instructor really. He mentioned here and there about how when the only tool someone has is a hammer, their problems start to look a lot like nails. Snipe then talked about when he was training himself he would work with soldiers who no longer cared about coming home, just focusing on the mission and who they needed to shoot. While I don't think Knight is anywhere close to that, he didn't ease up on Timey at all until you came over."
Momo's shoulders dropped, feeling the truth behind her recently made friend's words. "I suppose I have been putting off my concerns about something like that happening for too long. Things just get so, clustered sometimes you know?"
"Ha, yeah I get it." Ochaco grinned, giving Momo a short nudge on the arm. "Good luck with your feelings for him though. He seems like a stubborn guy."
Instead of getting immediately flustered, Momo just smirked back. "I wish you well when you finally realize your own adoration for your Izuku."
Ochaco forced a laugh, before turning back to the Ion titan and giving him a few pats. "We're done Izuku, you can tune back in."
Momo was about to do the same, but Knight was already turning around.
"Did you listen in?" She asked with her arms folding.
"No, I just observed Mechadoriya and waited for his indication that your conversation was finished."
"..Ok." Momo didn't know if she fully believed that statement, but now wasn't the time.
"Hey, not trying to rush you guys or anything." Timey called out from the center console with mild concern.
"Don't worry, we were just wrapping up." Knight answered to him, beginning to walk to the front door.
"Am I not taking you home as well? You aren't originally from this universe." Glancing at his monitor again, the Time Lord hit a button to adjust his coordinates.
"I'm already home." The Titan answered, a beaming smile lighting up Momo's face.
"By you guys!" Ochaco waved to them as they exited with Melissa draggin Mei away from the time machine.
"Bye." Mechadoriya waved to them, the white bird descending onto his shoulder.
"Goodbye other dimensional friends!" Nejire waved her arm widely as she stood next to her Time Lord. Timey giving a simple salute with two fingers.
"See ya." Melissa grunted as she pried Mei's hands off the floor, dragging the pinkette by her feet.
"No! Take me with youuu!" The mad inventor whined audibly.
"Goodbye uncle! And alien Uncle! Goodbye other Uraraka!" Luna cheerfully wiggled her drone body.
"Hopefully we can see each other again soon." Momo waved, stepping out the door.
Knight gave them one last look, simply lifting his hand. "Take care."
He closed the door behind him, the entire world that Ochaco and her giant stumbled in now cut off from them. They might see it again, or maybe never. Yet neither of them would ever forget the experiences that they shared, and the friends they made. A Beauty, and a Titan.
Our epic story between two universes is now over. It was amazing being able to work with the author of Beauty and the Titan and put something like this together. Honestly I'm surprised the two of us put so much into this while our lives have been hectic. If you haven't already check out his story here or on AO3. He wrote his own perspective on the events and some exclusive scenes that you won't see here.
The Time Lord Izuku and Nejire are from my other story Sad Boy in a Tree-house on fanfiction. It was my first fic but it's personally my favorite.

Planar-Walking-Entertainment:
I haven't heard of that specific force, but I recognize the name Metroid. Part of why Izuku can only shrink down to Titan size is because he serves as a battery of a robotic body. While it can shrink around him, he can't. Plus he still wants there to be enough room for Ochaco to pilot with him.
As for the story Monoma will have his own forms that way I can squeeze in more franchise references. Also yes, smaller forms would drain less energy but his time limit would remain a problem due to it being a part of his original quirk.
Natsim234:
Yes, yes he does.
SonicMax:
Going full monkey brain would have destroyed the island. Something that Izuku has discovered is that while he's powerful and big enough to eliminate nearly all foes, that might come at too great of collateral damage.
Darkscale42:
Technically triple crossover, but they'll leave soon.
AnimeFan13579:
There's already a lot I have planned for this story and it's going to take some time. If I did write a bunch of small moments of their interdimensional travels I would end up spending too much time on it.
Momentei:
While Izuku can alter his body to make physical weaponry, his range attacks are limited to being energy based. Anytime something physical leaves him like a gun or sword, it disappears. So missiles or a foam would simply vanish once it exits his body.
