Episode 5: The Radio Demon
The moment Charlie opens the door, a slim tall man with a large smile showing his sharp yellow teeth. He opens to reveal his glowing red eyes and wears a monocle on the right eye, and the microphone glows too. Charlie shows a frightened frown on her face while Phoenix stares with a confused look.
The demon says sounding like a radio, "Hell-"
But Charlie slams the door on him, showing a concern on her face.
Charlie opens to see he's still at the door.
The demon continues, "-lo."
And Charlie slams the door again.
"Uh… who is that guy?" Phoenix asks, confused.
Charlie quickly turns his head, "Hey Vaggie?"
"What?" Vaggie asks, annoyed with her hand on her head.
"The Radio Demon is at the door!" Charlie nervously answers, imitating the demon's big smile.
Vaggie and Zǐ Māo exclaim in shock, "What?!"
"Uh, who?" Angel asks, taking out the treat from his mouth.
"What should I do?" Charlie asks, scared as she pulls down her face.
Vaggie answers, knowing the answer is obvious, "Well, don't let him in! He might be after Phoenix!"
Charlie turns to the door in concern, and figures that Vaggie does have a point. Instead, she tries to put up courage and opens the door. To Phoenix's surprise, the demon is still there.
The demon asks, "May I speak now?"
"You may-" Charlie calmly answers with her arms crossed.
Before she can continue, The demon holds out his hand introducing himself, "Alastor, pleasure to be meeting you, sweetheart."
He then grabs Charlie's wrist and comes up at her face, "Quite a pleasure."
Then he lets himself into the hotel, "Excuse my sudden visit, but I saw your fiasco on a picture show and I just couldn't resist. What a performance!"
Phoenix simply stares at the demon and hears some strange static and laughter.
"Why, I haven't been that entertained since the stock market crash of 1929!" Alastro says, and starts laughing.
"So many orphans," Alastor says, walking down the hall.
Suddenly, Vaggie points her harpoon at Alastor's face with a deadly glare, "Stop right there!"
Then mutters in Spanish, "Cabrón hijo de perra!"
"I know your game. And I'm not gonna let you hurt anyone here, you pompous, cheesy talk show shitlord!" Vaggie viciously says.
Phoenix walks over and grows weary to notice the glowing red eyes he has towards Vaggie.
"Dear, if I wanted to hurt anyone here…" Alastor says, slightly laughing and moves Vaggie's harpoon away from his face..
He then opens his eyes to reveal a creepy expression on his face as he says in a static dark look, "I would have done so already."
Strange symbols appear around the Radio Demon as strange static sounds appear. Phoenix, Charlie, and Vaggie are frozen in fear.
"I felt like I've heard that sound before, but what?" Phoenix thinks.
Alastor then shakes his head going back to his normal expression.
"No, I'm here because I want to help!" Alastor says, leaning to the girls.
Confused, Charlie asks, "Say what now?"
"Help!" Alastor says,getting close to the girls' faces.
Then leans back holding his microphone, "Hello?"
"Is this thing on? Testing, testing…" Alastor adds, and taps on his microphone.
Suddenly, an eye appears on the microphone and answers, "Well I heard you loud and clear!"
"Um, you want to help?" Charlie asks, confused.
"With what exactly?" Phoenix asks.
Suddenly Alastor stands between the girls, Charlie and Phoenix on one side, and Vaggie on the other.
"This ridiculous thing you're trying to do! This hotel! I want to help you run it," Alastor says.
"Uh… why?" Charlie asks.
Alastor laughs and answers, "Why does anyone do anything? Sheer, absolute boredom! I've lacked inspiration for decades!"
Charlie and Phoenix look at each other with confused looks. Then turn their head towards the demon.
The Radio demon then uses Vaggie's head to -rest his arm, "My work became mundane, lacking focus,"
"Aimless!" And shoves Vaggie away
"I've come to crave a new form of entertainment! Ha ha ha!" Alastor exclaims with flare.
Zǐ Māo helps Vaggie up and asks, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Vaggie says, getting up.
Then mutters, "That creepy, smiling, radio speaking, bastard."
Confused, Phoenix can't help but asks, "Exactly how does someone get bored in Hell? From what I experienced in fighting Sir Pentious and his minions and those Shadow Creatures… There's practically something unpredictable at every turn. I don't think anyone can get bored here."
Alastor laughs as he wraps his arm around Phoenix' shoulders and gets into her personal space.
He then says, "You'll be surprised my dear. Not everything in Hell is as unpredictable as you think."
"Uh right," Phoenix says, feeling uncomfortable.
Vaggie then takes Phoenix away from the Radio Demon.
Charlie asks, "So does getting into a fist fight with a reporter count as entertainment?"
"Ha ha ha… It's the purest kind, my dear. Reality! True passion! After all, the world is a stage! And the stage is a world of entertainment," Alastor says.
Charlie asks with a hopeful smile, "So, does this mean that you think it's possible to rehabilitate a demon?"
However, Alastor laughs and says, "Of course not. That's wacky nonsense!"
That cause Charlie to deflate.
"Redemption, oh the non-existent humanity! Nononono, I don't think there's anything left that could save such loathsome sinners!" Alastor says.
Then turns to Vaggie, Angel Dust, and Zǐ Māo. Vaggie and Angel Dust look at him funny.
"The chance given was the life they lived before; the punishment is this!" Alastor proclaims.
And adds, "There is no undoing what is done!"
"So then, why do you want to help Charlie if you don't believe in her cause?" Phoenix asks.
Alastor turns to Phoenix with a smile and his eyes slightly glows.
Then answers, "Consider it an investment in ongoing entertainment for myself!"
He then grabs Phoenix's arm and twirls her around, "I want to watch the scum of the world struggle to climb up the hill of betterment!"
Phoenix stops spinning and crosses her arms giving Alastor a stern stare.
"Only to repeatedly trip and tumble down to the fiery pit of failure," The Radio demon darkly says in the last sentence.
Phoenix steps away a little and thinks, "Okay. That is just plain creepy."
"Riiiiiiight," Charlie says, stepping forward.
"Yes indeedy! I see big things coming your way, and who better to help than I…" Alastor then walks off with Charlie.
Phoenix looks with a confused look. She then walks to Vaggie and the others and sits down with them. Kyuubi simply sits on her lap.
"Ah, so uh, what's the deal with Smiles over there?" Angel asks, pointing his thumb to him.
Vaggie looks at him with disbelief, "Wait, you've never heard of him before? You've been here longer than me!"
Angel shrugs his shoulders.
"The Radio Demon, one of the most powerful beings Hell has ever seen?" Vaggie adds.
"Eh, not big on politics," Angel says, crossing his arms.
Vaggie groans with an annoyed expression.
"I don't think it had anything to do with politics," Zǐ Māo says.
Phoenix turns to Zǐ Māo, "I don't really see what's so scary about him other than his creepy smile. He looks pretty normal.
"That's the scary thing. He seems harmless, but he is very powerful and scary. They say that he is almost strong as Lucifer and Satan," Zǐ Māo says.
Phoenix turns to see Alastor talking to Charlie, "He's almost as strong as my dad."
"That's one of the rumors say. I'm surprised Charlie never mention him to you," Vaggie says.
"Well, she told me about many powerful demons and Overlords, but not by name. I guess she never expected for me to actually meet one, especially Alastor," Phoenix says.
Then asks Vaggie asks, "What exactly is he?"
"Since you'll be staying, you might as well know," Vaggie says.
Then explains, "Decades ago, Alastor manifested in Hell, seemingly overnight. He began to topple overlords who had been dominant for centuries. That kind of raw power had never been harnessed by a mortal soul before. Then, he broadcast his carnage all throughout Hell, just so everyone could witness his ability. Sinners started calling him the Radio Demon.
(As lazy as that is.)
Many have speculated what unimaginable force enabled him to rival our world's most ancient and destructive evils. But one thing's for sure: He's an unpredictable source of danger, a wicked spirit of mystery, and a violent monster of chaos the likes of which we can't risk getting involved with unless we want to end up erased."
Phoenix shakes nervously and gulps a little and in her thoughts, "I-I never knew there could be demons that are powerful and dangerous, especially Alastor."
Suddenly Angel interrupts her thoughts, "Ya done?"
He laughs, and says, "He looks like a strawberry pimp!"
The group look at Charlie still talking to Alastor. Alastor then makes his microphone cane appear.
"Well, I don't trust him!" Vaggie says, crossing her arms.
"To be fair, do you trust any man? Any men?" Angel questions.
He slightly laughs, "Men?"
"Oh brother," Phoenix says, rolling her eyes.
Vaggie leaves the chair and walks over to Charlie.
"Charlie, listen to me," Vaggie says, and has Charlie standing in front of her with her hands on her shoulders.
"You can't believe this creep! He isn't just a happy face!" Vaggie says, turning her head to Alastor and Charlie does the same.
Alastor simply looks around the hotel and shows a quick glance towards Phoenix and shows a large smile.
"He's a dealmaker, pure evil! He can't be redeemed! And is most likely looking for a way to destroy everything we're trying to do. What's more, he might be trying to get to Phoenix," Vaggie says.
"What are you talking about?" Charlie asks, confused.
"Have you noticed that way he's looking at her? He could have seen Phoenix on the news and knows exactly what she is. Why else would he have come here? He could be a great risk for her safety and might have plans for her as well," Vaggie says in concern.
"I- we don't know that- look. I know he's bad, and I know he probably doesn't wanna change. And well, maybe he knows who and what Phoenix is," Charlie says.
She turns her head to see Alastor looking at her family's portrait, "But the whole point of this is to give people a chance! To have faith things will be better! How can I turn someone away? I can't. It goes against everything I'm trying to do. Everything I believe in."
She then places her hands on Vaggie's shoulders, "Just trust me. I can take care of myself. And I'm sure Phoenix can do the same."
"Charlie, whatever you do, do not make a deal with him or let Phoenix near him!" Vaggie says as she and Charlie turn to the demon.
"Don't worry, I picked up one thing from my dad," Charlie says.
Then imitates her father as she walks towards the Radio Demon, "Ya don't take shit from other demons!"
Charlie says to him, "Okay, so… Al. You're sketchy as fuck, and you clearly see what I'm trying to do here is a joke."
Then has her back facing him, unknown that his eyes are glowing and symbols are appearing. However, Phoenix does. When Charlie turns her eyes to him, they disappear.
"But I don't. I think everyone deserves a chance to prove they can be better. So, I'm taking your offer to help. On the condition that there be no tricks or voodoo strings attached," Charlie says.
"So it's a deal then?" Alastor asks, twirling his microphone and holds his hand out.
Suddenly, a strange green energy circle surrounds them and releases a strange magic. That cause Phoenix, Zǐ Māo, Vaggie, Angel Dust, and Kyuubi to shield themselves from the light. Charlie looks down in shock weary about it.
She then swats his hand away saying, "Nope! No shaking! No deals! I- hmm…"
She then walks away with her hand wrapped around her arm.
She then turns to Him and says, As princess of Hell, and heir to the throne, I uh, hereby order that you help with this hotel, for as long as you desire."
Then shows a smile on her face. Then her eyes turn to Vaggie. Vaggie is still worried about what she's getting herself into with the demon in question.
Charlie asks facing him, "Sound fair?"
"Hmm… fair enough, "Alastor says.
He makes his microphone disappear and walks away.
"Cool beans," Charlie says in relief, holding her thumbs up.
Alastor walks by while humming. Phoenix and the others stand off the chair while Angel Dust walks somewhere else. Zǐ Māo hugs Phoenix in fright and Phoenix has him close to her.
He then turns to Vaggie with a grin.
He places his red claw under her chin and says, "Smile, my dear!"
That causes Vaggie to steam in rage.
"You know you're never fully dressed without one!" Alastor says.
He then walks away humming a tune as Vaggie narrows her eyes at him.
He walks to Charlie and asks, "So where is your hotel staff?"
"Uh, well…" Charlie says, places her hands together.
She has them pointing to Vaggie who is actually the only employee.
Alastor adjusts his monocle and says, "Oh ho ho ho, you're going to need more than that."
Then walks off. He then turns to see Phoenix who is still comforting Zǐ Māo. She sits on the chair with the little cat demon clinging onto her. Phoenix turns her head to see Alastor walking towards her. When Kyuubi sees him, the little fox demon growls and begins to bark at him. Alastor simply looks at the fox with glowing red eyes.
Phoenix pets Kyuubi and says, "It's okay boy. Calm down. There's nothing to worry about."
Kyuubi simply walks next to Phoenix as he begins to bark at the Radio Demon
"I'm sorry, Kyuubi is usually not like this," Phoenix says.
"It's quite alright my dear. I suspect that he wants to be sure his owner is well protected. However, it's best to make sure you discipline him a little," Alastor says,
"Right… I'm Phoenix and it's' nice to meet you. Alastor, right?" Phoenix replies.
"You are correct my dear, and it's a pleasure to meet you my dear. So what can you offer around this hotel?" Alastor replies.
"Um, well, I actually do have working experience. I could work in the kitchen or perhaps waiting tables, "Phoenix answers.
"Excellent. And what can your little feline friend do?" Alastor says, staring at the cat.
Zǐ Māo presses her face against Phoenix's night gown.
"Oh, this is Zǐ Māo, and I think he can help me with the kitchen. He can be my assistant," Phoenix answers.
"Sounds like a fantastic idea," Alastor says.
Alastor walks to Angel Dust, and asks, "And what can you do, my effeminate fellow?"
"I can suck your dick!" Angel answers without hesitating.
A radio screech appears causing Kyuubi to cover his years.
"Ha! No," Alastor answers, and walks off.
Angel slightly laughs, "Your loss."
"Is it really necessary to ask him that?" Phoenix asks.
"You can't blame a guy for asking," Angel says.
Phoenix groans and facepalms her forehead.
"Well this just won't do!" Alastor says, summoning his cane.
Then says, "I suppose I can cash in a few favors to liven things up!"
Then with a snap of his fingers, the fireplace burst into flames. In a blink of an eye, the fireplace seems as good as new. Suddenly, something falls into it. Charlie, Phoenix and the others look at it with confused expressions to see that the strange being looks like it's covered in soot. Alastor walks over and picks up the strange being by the shirt. Suddenly, a single eye opened on its face. The eye is large and hot pink and orange sclera with a light yellow iris. Charlie, Phoenix and the others look at the strange thing.
Phoenix mutters, "What is that?"
"I'm not sure," Zǐ Māo answers.
The soot pops off to reveal a small girl. The girl has yellow like skin, short yet fluffy pink hair with yellow undertone, and pink circle on each side of her mouth as she holds a smile. She wears a white shirt with pink dots, a dark pink scarf, a pink skirt with a poodle design and yellow dots, and small limbs of dark pink coloration.
"This little darling is Niffty!" Alastor says, and drops her to the ground.
The girl stands up and waves her hand with a smile, "Hi! I'm Niffty!"
"It's nice to meet you! It's been a while since I've made new friends!" Niffty eagerly says, showing her sharp light yellow teeth and uses her large eye to look around with excited laughter.
She then asks, "Why are you all women?"
Then rushes over and picks up Charlie, screaming, "Have any men here?!"
Everyone else jumps in surprise and Vaggie holds out a harpoon in anger.
She then quickly puts Charlie down, "I'm sorry, that's rude."
She then notices Zǐ Māo and happily cheers, "Oh! What a cute little boy with a kitty cat feature!"
Then grabs his cheeks and moves them around, "You have such a cute kitty face."
"And you have these cute kitty ears!" Niffty adds, touching the cat's ears.
"And that is an adorable tail," Niffty adds, seeing the tail.
Zǐ Māo says with confused, "Uh thanks, but I like it if you let me go."
Then Niffty let's go of the ears, "Sorry that's rude."
Then she notices the condition of the hotel, "Oh man, this place is filthy!"
She then runs all over the place and grabs a spider, "It really needs a lady's touch, which is weird, because most of you are all ladies, no offense."
Then brings out a feather duster, "Oh my gosh, this is awful!"
In seconds she begins to go on a cleaning spree as she giggles, "No, no, no… no, no- "
Then gasps and uses a needle to pierce a bug, "Nope."
"That girl is one ball of energy," Phoenix says.
"I have to agree," Charlie replies.
Zǐ Māo replies, "I wonder how long it will take her to realize Angel Dust is actually a guy."
"I have to agree," Vaggie replies.
Suddenly, a green glow appears causing everyone to turn heads to see what it is.
Suddenly, a strange anthropomorphic cat slams a few cards on the table, "Ha! Read 'em and weep, boys!"
The cat's fur is taupe-colored with white fur on the face, torso, feet, and upper body, long red eyebrows with dark red vertical stripes near the tip, a black heart about each, brown eyes with orange pupils, a long brown tail, with plum like fur at the end and red and white stripes. He has large red and black striped wings and suit, with playing card symbols: diamonds, clubs, spades, and hearts. He wears a black top hat with a red ribbon, a red bow tie, and black ankle brace.
"Full- whoa…" The cat continues, but strange symbols appear over him.
"Tel?" The cat questions.
Then asked annoyed, "What the fuck is this?"
He then notices the demon and gives him a threatening glare as he points his finger towards him, "You."
However, Alastor is not phased by the threatening state and happily greets, "Ah, Husker my good friend! Glad you could make it!" and places his hang on the cat's shoulder.
But the cat, Husk shoves it off in anger, "Don't you "Husker" me, you son of a bitch. I was about to win the whole damn pot!"
He points to the pile of cash, poker chips, and coins on the table. Soon, they disappeared.
"Good to see you too!" Alastor says with a smile, doesn't seem phased by the scolding.
Husk facepalms his face, "What the hell do you want with me this time?"
"My friend, I am doing some charity work, so I took it upon myself to volunteer your services! I hope that's okay," Alastor says, wrapping his arm around the cat.
Phoenix thinks with a confused expression, "Exactly, how does summing someone out of nowhere and against their will sounds okay. What's weird is the fact Alastor is still smiling despite this Husk is yelling at him.
"Are you shittin' me?!" Husk asks, in anger.
"Hmm… no, I don't think so," Alastor answers, without a second thought.
Suddenly, there is an audience laughing, but quickly gasps when Husk pushes Alastor away from him.
Then Husk goes in a rage, "You thought it would be some kind of big fuckin' riot just to pull me outta nowhere. You think I'm some kinda fuckin' clown?"
Alastor simply answers, "...maybe."
Suddenly, a radio audience begins laughing.
"I ain't doin' no fuckin' charity job," Husk angrily says.
Alastor comes back and wraps his arm around the cat, "Well, I figured you would be the perfect face to man the front desk of this fine establishment.
He shows the cat some kind of strange front desk, that almost looks like a small bar.
"With your charming smile and welcoming energy, this job was made for you!" Alastor adds, spreading Husk's face to form a big smile, but frowns afterwards.
He looks to notice Husk is anything, but amused.
He then walks to the desk and says, "Don't worry, my friend. I can make this more welcoming…"
"if you wish," Then summons a green bottle that has the label 'Cheap Booze' on the counter.
"What, you think you can buy me with a wink and some cheap booze?!" Husk angrily says, walking to him and takes the bottle from the table.
He has his eyes turn to the bottle and answers, "Well you can!"
He then begins to drink the bottle and sits behind the front desk. Phoenix and Zǐ Māo are dumbfounded.
"Uh, looks like Alastor won that round," Zǐ Māo says, confused.
"I guess so," Phoenix says.
Then Phoenix whispers to Charlie, "Hey Charlie, that guy, Alastor. Was he some kind of Radio Host in the 1920s?"
"He actually was before he ended up in Hell. Apparently, I heard that Alastor was also a serial killer during that time," Charlie whispers back.
Phoenix flinches, "A-A serial killer?!"
"Don't worry Phoenix, I won't let Alastor or anyone hurt you on my watch, especially on Vaggie's watch," Charlie says.
"Thanks. I think I can especially count on Vaggie. However, I can tell she officially hates Alastor. If she has her way, I think she would actually kill him," Phoenix says.
Just then, Vaggie angrily protests, "Hey hey, heyheyhey! No, no bar, no alcohol. This is supposed to be a place that discourages sin! Not some kind of… mouth, brothel, man-cave…"
However, Angel Dust tackles Vaggie angrily and says, "Shut up! Shut! Up!"
"We are keeping this," And points to the cat.
Angel leans on the table and gives Husk a smile, "Hey."
"Go fuck yourself," Husk says, and turns away.
"Only if you watch me," Angel says, with a seductive look.
Charlie rushes over and says with excitement, "Oh my gosh! Welcome to the Happy Hotel! You are going to love it here!"
"I lost the ability to love years ago," Husk says, and begins to drink his beverage.
Phoenix then places her hands on Charlie's shoulder, "How about we give him some space?"
Husk thinks, "Glad someone has some brains in their fuckin' head."
He then notices Phoenix and appearance, and thinks, "Hmm, so that's the kid from the news. Why does she look so familiar."
Just then, Alastor walks over, "So, what do you think?"
"This is amazing!" Charlie says with a big smile and rubs her cheeks.
Vaggie says with her arms crossed, "It's… okay."
Alastor laughs and hugs Charlie and Vaggie, "This is going to be very entertaining!"
Vaggie shoves herself away from Alastor's embrace. Alastor adjusts his monocle and summons a small flame from his hand in front of Charlie. Suddenly a along begins to appear, and Alastor tosses the flare in the air and shoves Vaggie away. Suddenly, Alastor's attire changes completely and begins to sing a song.
Alastor:
You have a dream
Alastor twirls Charlie around.
Alastor:
You wish to tell
Then changes her attire to a twenties style. Charlie seems happy to see her new outfit.
Alastor:
And it's just laughable
Vaggie is furious at the Radio Demon that her face is turning red and about ready to kill him.
Alastor:
But hey kid, what the hell!
The Radio Demon then picks Charlie up and tosses her in the air. Suddenly, the scenery changes color.
Alastor:
'Cause you're one of a kind
A charming demon belle!
He and Charlie dance, and slide down the stairs.
Alastor:
Now let's give these burning fools a place to dwell
Alastor snaps his fingers and everyone in the room has their outfits change. Phoenix finds herself wearing a glittering sleeveless dress, up to her knees that has the same color as her hair. She also wears black gloves that goes up to her elbows, a red headband with a Phoenix colored feather on it, a white pearl necklace, and black heels. Even Kyuubi is wearing a bright red bow tie on his neck. Angel Dust, Vaggie, and Zǐ Māo are confused to find their clothes have changed.
Alastor:
(Take it, boys!)
With another snap of his fingers, voodoo like shadows come out and play trumpets and a drum set. Charlie snaps her fingers to the beat with a smile on her face. Vaggie tries to talk to her about her concern, but Alastor drags her to the others.
Suddenly, spirits of some kind appear, and shout, "Boo!"
Alastor:
Inside of every demon is a lost cause
Alastor appears at the desk bar where Angel Dust and Husk are. He places a white hat on Angel's head, and plucks a hair from Husk's eyebrows. Angel snaps his fingers with a smile, but annoyed, he shows his middle finger when he's not at the scene.
Alastor:
But we'll dress 'em up for now with just a smile!
Shadow Demons:
(With a smile!)
He then place a hat and a fur on Vaggie and a top hat on Zǐ Māo. He then slaps Vaggie's back, making her come in rage. Then she tosses the stuff to the ground.
Alastor:
And we'll chlorinate this cesspool
With some old redemption flair
Alastor continues to dance, and kicks a skull out of the way. Then twirls his cane as he dances around.
Alastor:
And show these simpletons some proper class and style
Shadow Demons:
(Class and Style)
He then dances towards the fireplace. With a wave from his can, he summons more shadows to come out. One of them has the same resemblance to him.
Alastor:
(Oh!)
Here below the ground
I'm sure your plan is sound!
After that, he dances with Charlie and presses his hands against her cheeks. He then takes Phoenix's hand and whisks her away before Vaggie has a say in it.
Alastor:
They'll spend a little time
He then spins himself and Phoenix around and lets the hybrid girl go.
Alastor:
Down at this Hazbin Ho-
Alastor's singing becomes interrupted by a blast at the wall. The door almost hits Niffty, but Phoenix grabs her in the neck of time.
"Thanks," Niffty happily says.
"You're welcome. On another note, what the hell was that?" Phoenix says.
Everyone takes a lot outside of the hole that is made. They see an airship, that is familiar to Angel, Phoenix, and Zǐ Māo.
"Oh no," Zǐ Māo groans.
"He's here," Phoenix replies, rolling his eyes.
Coming out of the opening of the ship, is the snake demon, Sir Pentious.
He announces, "Ha! Well well well, look who it is harboring the striped freak and the fiery hybrid!"
"We meet yet again, Alastor!" The snake demon adds, having his eye on the Radio demon.
All Alastor says, "Do I know you?"
Sir Pentious feels offended, and says, "Oh, yes you do!"
The heads back to the controls.
"And this time, I have the element of-" The snake demon says.
He then pulls the switch, "Surprise!"
Coming down from the ship is some kind of power cannon.
He maniacally laughs as he says, "I'm so evil!"
Everyone, but Alastor is shocked to see the giant cannon staring down at them.
In the ship, Sir Pentious presses the controls as he says, "And I have another surprise for you. See as I whisk little Ms. Flaming human hybrid right from your gasp."
Since Charlie and the group can hear him talk loud, they figure what he means.
"Uh is he saying what I think he's saying?" Zǐ Māo asks, concern.
Suddenly, a small harpoon cannon comes out from the top of the airship. Then fires down at them. Before anyone can reach, a rope appears and tired Phoenix, pinning her left arm while her right arm is free. Phoenix screams as she is being dragged away. Before Phoenix is swept away, Charlie grabs her hand.
"Phoenix!" Charlie screams.
Phoenix screams, "Charlie help me!"
Charlie tries to pull Phoenix, but the rope is starting to pull her away as well. Vaggie and Angel Dust grab Phoenix and pull her back.
"Oh no," Zǐ Māo says, shocked.
Zǐ Māo looks at his claws and comes up with an idea. He grabs the rope and uses his claws to cut the rope causing the group to fall to the ground, including himself.
Vaggie says, "Nice work."
"Um, thank you," Zǐ Māo says.
Suddenly, the fire cannon begins to activate and is ready to fire.
"Oh my gosh!" Phoenix exclaims in shock.
Phoenix quickly gets herself out of the ropes and stands on her feet. She then ignites fire from her hands.
"Phoenix! What are you doing?" Vaggie exclaims.
"I'm going to stop him before he blasts us," Phoenix says.
Before Phoenix can do anything, Alastor steps forward, "Not to worry my dear, I shall take care of this matter."
"Huh?" Phoenix says, confused.
Alastor then snaps his fingers and a vortex appears from under the airship. Black tentacles appear from the hole and grab hold of the airship. One of the tentacles pulls the cannon off and throws it into another abyss that has appeared.
In the airship, the Egg Bois and their boss are being rocked around. The airship leans to one side causing everyone inside to fall in that direction. Two of the Egg Bois hit the wall and broke into pieces.
Sir Pentious falls to the wall as he screams, "Oh, that hurt!"
Then a tentacle grabs his face. Then begins to fly him to the wall and then drag him on the floor. Then it makes a loop and crushes the snake demon. The Egg Bois are either broken to pieces or panicking in fear. Outside, the tentacles still grab off the airship. Alastor's eyes seem static as he moves his fingers to conjure his magic. Then changes back to their normal like stage. He then clutches his hand causing it to glow. The tentacles consume the airship and cause a massive explosion.
In a matter of seconds, the airship and the demons inside are blown to bits. Everyone is completely stunned to see Alastor has single handedly destroyed the airship. He holds a large yet evil smile on his face and some red x is placed on his forehead. Phoenix soon realized that the Radio Demon is very powerful and dangerous.
Suddenly, Alastor's face changes back to normal and says, "Well I'm starved! Who wants some jambalaya?"
He then walks past them as he says, "My mother once showed me a wonderful recipe for jambalaya! In fact, it nearly killed her!"
Then begins laughing. Niffty quickly follows him. Husk and Angel Dust soon follow. Angel also blows a kiss to him, much to Husk's dismay.
"You could say the kick was right out of Hell!" Alastor continues.
Charlie turns to Vaggie with a smile, and follows the others. Vaggie shows a smile to Charlie, but when she leaves, can't help, but feel concerned.
Alastor laughs and says, "Oh, I'm on a roll!"
Phoenix takes her hand out and young Zǐ Māo takes her hand. Kyuubi then hops on Phoenix's shoulder. The three then follow the others back to the hotel.
Alastor continues, "This is the start of some real changes down here! The game is set! Now…"
Alastor then uses his magic to change the sign from the Happy Hotel to the 'Hazbin Hotel,' "...Stay tuned. Hahaha...!"
Phoenix knows that she is in for one Hell of a time in Hell and it's going to get even more crazy with Alastor in the mix.
Outside of the hotel where the destruction of the Zeppelin is, all the Eggs except for one are crushed and broken into pieces. Suddenly, a claw lifts itself up and reveals to be Sir Pentious who survived Alastor's magic.
The Egg Boi then asks with a smile, "Now will you shoot me with your ray gun?"
But the Snake Demon collapses from exhaustion soon after.
