Percy quickly pushed himself to his feet, a small ring of water appearing around him defensively, ready to jump to his protection at a moments notice. He was in sort of a laboratory. One that seemed as though it hadn't been used in decades. As he scanned the walls, Percy noticed signs of battle. The walls were scarred, doors were torn off their hinges, and there were small craters scattered over the floor. "What in the…" He whispered out,

"Welcome, Mr. Jackson," Came the same synthesized voice from the computer. Percy whirled on the spot, and looked into the shadows at the far end of the room. A figure was standing there. he was tall, maybe around six feet in height. And he was dressed in an immaculately well-tailored suit. Percy couldn't see his face, as it was obscured by shadows.

Percy didn't even bother saying anything. The ring of water around him sprang to life, and shot towards the figure. The figure scoffed, and a bubble of energy appeared around the man. The waiter slammed into the shield, but didn't break through. Percy didn't relent though, he summoned his wind, and reared his foot back. With a might kick, he shot a blast of wind at the shield. It slammed into the bubble, which shook violently, before shattering. The figure in the shadows stumbled, and Percy shot forward. Percy reached out and wrapped one hand around the lapels of the jacket, his fist rearing back to slam into the man's shadowed face.

Black and red bolts of electricity suddenly whipped into existence around the man's body. Percy let out a scream, as the electricity coursed through his body. It felt as though every nerve in his body had been set on fire all at once. His grip on the jacket slipped, and the man drove a fist into Percy's stomach. The blow had similar strength to the Nomu he'd fought at the USJ. It felt as though something in his stomach was close to snapping, as he was thrown backwards. He crashed through an overturned table, collapsing in a heap on the floor. Electricity still dancing over his skin.

"That was rather rude," The man noted idly. "But not bad. You certainly have potential."

Percy just let out a groan, and pushed himself unsteadily to his feet. "Ok," He said to himself, "So definitely not some stooge."

"Not exactly." The man said, sounding amused.

"Who are you, what do you want?" Percy demanded.

"Well, that is an interesting question." The man said,

Percy groaned, "Can we skip the whole villain monologue bullshit." He said in exasperation. "Let's keep it simple, yeah?"

The man laughed, "Careful Percy, I might just come to like you," Percy very much doubted that, "You can call me All for One." Percy snorted,

"The hell kind of name is that?"

"And as for what I want," The man said, ignoring Percy, as he stepped out of the shadows, "I want you,"

Percy just stared at the man. Where a human head should have been, was instead a strange looking mask. There appeared to be a skin-tight black mask covering his features, and attached to some sort of neck brace. Odd tubes and plates were protruding from the strange brace. Percy couldn't help himself, he snorted. His snorts soon turned to guffaws. His guffaws turned into outright laughter.

"You look like discount store Bane rip-off." He cackled, "Where the hell did you get that costume? Party City? Holy shit dude."

"I amuse you, do I?" The man said, all traces of levity leaving his voice. "You think my injuries are worthy of mockery?"

"Dude," Percy said, wiping a stray tear from his eye, "Please, can you just say, 'I was born from the dark,' please, I gotta hear it."

"No," The man said. Looking somewhat unbalanced by Percy's abrupt reaction, but he recovered smoothly, "You are an enigma, Percy Jackson,"

"Been called a lot before." Percy said, "That ain't one of 'em,"

"Indeed." The man said idly, folding his hands in front of him, "You see, Mr. Jackson, I too come from the time before quirks. I remember the time where humans were just that, human. Not the mutated species we've become. I was among the first to receive my powers, and I made it my mission to track down all who uncovered similar powers to myself."

"You look good for a fossil," Percy shot out, but the man ignored him,

"It was my business to find those with powerful abilities. To find them, and…make them my own. But I do not recall you. I don't ever remember hearing tale of a boy with your extraordinary capabilities. With your skills, or strength. And you would not have been able to hide from me. So I ask again, Mr. Jackson, who are you."

"I'm just a kid form Manhattan," Percy said. As All for One was talking, he began to slowly begin building his power. He was no fool. For all his bluster about how the man looked, Percy knew the man had power. Whether he actually was from the era before quirks was irrelevant, and honestly, Percy didn't care. All for One was obviously the man behind Shigaraki, and more than likely the Nomu as well. he was strong, and he was dangerous. He was exactly the type of opponent Percy had been training his transcendent form for. So he began, as subtly as he could, build up his strength, and form his power.

"You are not." All for One said, "You have multiple quirks. Wind and Water manipulation. Enhanced strength and speed. You appear to have several quirks. Unusual in their own right, but for you to have so many…I am intrigued." He trailed off and seemed to stare inquisitively at Percy,

"Where are we?" Percy asked, changing gears,

"This?" All for One asked, gesturing around him, "This is my lab, currently in a once lively city, that has since been lost to time. I have spent many years rebuilding this station. I had an unfortunate run in with someone some time ago who took exception to the work I was doing here, and it was very nearly destroyed. But I have recovered, and I have rebuilt. I am currently working on things that will…change the world."

"Is this where you offer me to join you whatever?" Percy asked, "Money, power, all that jazz?"

All for One chuckled, "Nothing like that." He said, "I've been studying you. I know your type, you're not one to fall prey to something like that. You don't value commodities and commercial products, and you have the type of power most men could only ever dream of. No, Mr. Jackson, I don't believe I'd be able to tempt you with such paltry promises. What I can offer you though, is a way back."

Percy froze, his mind going numb, and All for One chuckled again. "Have your attention?" He asked rhetorically,

"Y-you're lying," Percy said, doing his best to maintain his steady build-up of power, "There's no way back. I've looked into it, Nezu said-"

"That little lab experiment could only dream of what I know," All for One said coldly, "There are more quirks, more powers than he could possibly be aware of. I have travelled many places, met extraordinary people, and seen extraordinary powers. And I happen to have exactly what you're looking for…a way back. Back to your mother…"

Percy was hyperventilating slightly, as his fists clenched. It was a lie, a ruse to throw him off of his guard. There was no way back, he knew that, divine magic had sent him forward in time, there was no way that some mutant ability had the ability to match the power of a Titan. But what if he wasn't lying? What if he really did have a way to send Percy back? What if Percy could see his mother again? Annabeth, Grover, everyone? What if he could finally go home? It was too good to be true, and Percy knew that there would be a catch, there had to be.

"I can send you back home. Send you back to your mother. Reunite you with all you have lost." All for One offered,

"Why?" Percy demanded, his voice somewhat choked, "What's in it for you,"

All for One laughed, and spread his arms out wide. "In exchange for my generous gift, all I ask in return…is your quirks. We could do it the messy way, and I could simply subdue you, but I know you are capable and strong, and to be brutally honest with you, there are things in this facility that would not hold up to the type of battle I'm sure it would take to capture you, and I have no desire to break them." He took a step forward and outstretched a hand, "So, Mr. Jackson, what do you say? Your abilities, for the chance to see everyone you've lost again?"

Percy knew it was a ruse. Knew it was a lie. There was no way the man had the ability to do what he said he could do. Percy was ashamed by how much he wished that All for One was being honest. How much Percy wanted it to be the case that he had a legitimate shot at going back home again. But even as those thoughts occurred to him, he knew it was wishful thinking. Quirks were powerful things, but not even quirks could take Percy back to his life before. Nothing could. Besides, it wasn't like Percy even had a quirk to give the man to begin with. But that didn't mean he couldn't take advantage of an opportunity that was being given to him.

He did his best to keep his expression neutral, as he took what he hoped was a shaky step forward. The power was building within him, reaching a boiling point. He took another step, and he could feel his fingertips start to tingle, as power slowly surged through his body. He took a third step, and was within arms length of One for All. He extended his hand, and gripped the villain's palm in his own.

"Good man," All for One said smugly, "I knew you were a man of reason," His grip on Percy's hand tightened, and a bright red light washed over him.

There was a strange sensation washing over Percy, as though something were passing through his body searching for something. Percy could barely contain the power within him. It was threatening to jump forward, to explode outward, but Percy contained it best he could.

"What the…" All for One muttered, "It's not working," He looked down at their conjoined hands in confusion, "What is this?" He demanded, and Percy allowed himself to smirk.

"Sorry bud, but I don't have a quirk." And the word exploded.

BREAK

Izuku scratched nervously at the cast on his arm. He'd made it in time to catch Iida, just before he confronted Stain. Luckily, Todoroki had been in the city as well, and had managed to respond to the emergency hail as well. It had been a climatic battle, with more than a few near misses, but they had managed to come out on top. In addition to being able to knock out Stain, and hand him over to the authorities, Izuku had only suffered a minor sprain on his arm from using One for All. All of his extra training with Percy had certainly paid off.

After they handed Stain over, Izuku had re-grouped with Gran Torino, before he, Iida, and Todoroki were taken to the nearest hospital for medical assistance. The three boys were sat up on separate beds, currently getting a dressing down by a large man with a human body with a dog head. The man was Kenji Tsuragamae, the Chief of Police in Hosu. He told them that under normal circumstances, they would likely be expelled from U.A. and face strict punishment for the illegal use of their quirks on a villain. However, since the police was burying their involvement in the act, they weren't going to be punished.

The Chief of Police left, with Gran Torino and Manual following in his stead, leaving the three young heroes alone in the room. However, the door had only been closed for a few moments, before it was thrown open again. Izuku looked up, and felt his breath catch in his throat, as the number seven hero, Miruko marched into the room. Her eyes darted around the room, before they landed on Izuku, who felt himself shrink and quickly avert his gaze to the floor as she stared at him,

"Hey, kid," She barked out, and Izuku shakily looked up, meeting Miruko's fierce look.

"Y-yes, ma'am?" He stammered out. She clicked her tongue in disapproval,

"Don't stammer kid, I hate it when people aren't confident enough to speak their mind." She snapped at him,

"Yes ma'am," Izuku repeated, making a conscious effort to keep the waiver out of his voice,

"Good boy," She said approvingly, "Any of you seen that punk ass classmate of yours?"

Izuku shared a confused look with Iida and Todoroki, "Do you mean Percy, Ms. Miruko?" Todoroki asked quietly. Miruko turned an inquisitive look on the boy, and regarded him for a moment, before nodding,

"Yeah, he went after a pair of villains a while ago, and I haven't been able to get ahold of him because his phone shattered during a fight," She explained

"Oh," Said Iida softly, "That must be why he didn't respond to my SOS." The three boys had been talking about why Percy hadn't been there for the fight, especially after he had explicitly told Iida to call for help. Izuku had explained that he'd been fighting Nomu, but Izuku was certain that if Percy had known about the fight with Stain, he would have immediately tracked them down.

Miruko sighed, "Guess that means you haven't seen him then,"

"No, Miruko," Izuku said, "I haven't seen him since he told me to find Iida."

"Damnit Percy," Miruko sighed, rubbing at an ear in annoyance, "What the fuck is going on, I hate being left out of the loop like this, huh?" She looked down as something beeped from her utility belt. Reaching into one of the pouches, she pulled a phone out and stared at the screen. Her eyes went wide, and she darted over to the table beside Izuku and grabbed the remote to the television on the wall. Turning on the television, she turned the channel to the local news network, which was covering some kind of an explosion. The image on the screen was of the remnants of an old building, in what looked like an abandoned city. There was still smoke and debris in the air, as bits of rubble fell from the collapsed building.

There was a fierce wind whipping up around the drone, as sheets of rain fell from the sky. It looked like wherever the drone was, it was in the midst of a terrific looking hurricane. The disembodied voice of the news anchor commentated over the footage.

"This is a live feed from one of our news drones in the northern regions. Moments ago, this building suddenly, and violently exploded, there has so far been no signs of what could have caused the explosion but-wait a moment, what is this?" The camera suddenly zoomed in, and Izuku could make out what looked like two figures in the smoke, dust, and rain. One figure looked as though they were on one knee, several years away from the other figure. It was much easier to see the second figure. There was an ethereal sort of glow surrounding the figure, and some kind of blue light coming from several points on the figures body. Izuku's jaw dropped open, as he recognized the sight. He had spent enough time staring at it over the last several weeks to know immediately what it was.

"Percy!" He blurted out, and Todoroki and Iida turned a confused look at him. Miruko was staring so intently at the screen, that it was almost as though she hadn't even heard him. Sure enough, the smoke and dust finally cleared enough that the camera could zoom in on the face of Percy Jackson. The blue light from the tattoos over his face was nearly blinding. The camera zoomed out again and the newscaster began speaking, "We are receiving confirmation that this is in fact the student hero Argonaut, better known for his actions as the 'Homeless Hero' and for his victory in the annual U.A. Sports Festival only a few weeks ago. He was last reported in Hosu City fighting back against the villain attack earlier this evening. It would appear that he is fighting some other villain. We do not yet know who this villain is, or how Argonaut managed to get all the way to the north from Hosu."

"What the hell have you gotten yourself into Percy?" Izuku heard Miruko mutter under her breath. And as Izuku stared at the screen, he couldn't help but wonder the same.

"It would appear that our Mr. Jackson has gotten himself into something of a predicament." Nezu mused aloud. Toshinori hummed in agreement. The pair were sitting in Nezu's private office, having been watching the live footage of the fighting in Hosu. Toshinori had received word from Gran Torino that Young Midoriya had confronted the Hero Killer and had come out on top. He was immensely proud of his young protege, the young man was truly becoming a truly capable hero. He had been immensely surprised, however, when he had seen that Young Percy had apparently somehow managed to find himself all the way in the northern districts of the country.

Toshinori squinted. There was something oddly familiar about the building. Toshinori felt as though he'd been there before. Had seen that scenery in person. The camera zoomed out on Percy, before zooming in on the figure on the ground. Whoever it was, they were still obscured by the wind and rain, and it was harder to see them as they were crouched on the ground.

"Wait a minute," Toshinori said slowly, watching the screen intently. The figure finally looked up, and Toshinori jumped to his feet. Horror etched on his every feature. He was alive…he'd always suspected. Had always feared. But Toshinori had refused to believe that it was true. Had wanted so badly for it all to be a lie. But the truth was staring him right in the face. All for One was alive.

"There's a jet on standby," Nezu said softly at his side. Toshinori nodded, and ran from the room. He would wait to transform. He couldn't risk losing any more time for the upcoming fight. He needed to hurry. Percy was strong, perhaps the strongest person on the entire island, but All for One was something else entirely. Son fo a god or not, All for One had managed to kill Toshinori's former master, and even though Percy was strong, this was not his fight. It was Toshinori's. All for One was his enemy. All for One had killed his master. This was not Percy's fight. He only thanked whatever gods might still be out there, that he would have the opportunity to end the madness now, and spare young Midoriya the pain of experiencing what he'd had to go through.

His phone rang, and he saw that it was Gran Torino. Toshinori answered, "I saw, I'm on my way, I'll pick you up."

He only hoped that he wouldn't be too late.

BREAK

Percy extended his senses outward. Feeling for any signs of life around him. All he could sense were animals in the forests around him. Nodding in satisfaction, he decided he would try and end things quickly. It was clear that All for One was powerful, he wouldn't waste any time building up for the fight. One good shot was all he hoped it would take to take the bastard out once and for all. With power of his father coursing through his veins, Percy reached out, commanding the earth beneath their feet to shake and tremble. He felt power tear through his arm as channeled more and more energy into his fist. Raising his arm high over his head, Percy slammed it into the earth, unleashing all of the power he'd built up.

The earth shook, as Percy summoned an enormous earthquake. The ground beneath their feet split apart, as the remnants of the building shook. Metal creaked and groaned, as the foundations vibrated. The was a cry from the building, as the metal buckled under the strength of the earthquake. Percy vapor travelled to a safe distance, just in time as the building fell right on top of where he'd been only moments before. He landed in a skid, as he raised his hands out to both sides. There was a rive running along the outskirts of the large city, and Percy could feel it as easily as though he were submerged in it. He commanded the water to bend to his will, and it complied. The water rose into the air, swirling and writhing in the fierce gale Percy's transformation had summoned. Percy thrust his arms forward, and the water obeyed, as it fell to the earth.

A torrential flood crashed into the remnants of the destroyed building. Metal, shattered windows, and boulders were carried away as the water slammed into the collapsed structure. There was flash of light from the center of the flash flood, before an enormous explosion ripped through the center. Water evaporated, chunks of earth, steel, and glass were thrown in every direction. Percy had to cover his face, the light was nearly blinding, he felt something quickly approaching and he ducked out of the way, just in time as black and red energy raced over him.

There was a burst of movement out of the corner of his eye, and Percy turned, and crossed his arms in front of him, just barely managing to block the devastating punch from All for One. Percy summoned a burst of wind, which erupted around him, as he broke his guard. All for One stumbled, and Percy reached out and wrapped his hands around the metal mask around All for One. He tried to explode the blood vessels in the man, hoping for a quick end to the fight, but nothing happened.

All for One's leg sparked in black and red energy, it swelled up in power and a powerful kick caught Percy in the ribs. Percy gasped in pain, but endured the hit. Dropping his hands, Percy grabbed the leg, and hefted All for One in the air. He slammed the villain into the earth with a tremendous crash. The ground cracked under the force of the blow, but Percy didn't let up. Still holding onto the leg, he spun on his heel, and with all his might, he threw the villain. All for One smashed into the ground.

Percy raised his hands out in from of him. Water rose from the ground and Percy launched them like missiles at the tumbling All for One. The slammed into the villain, exploding violently from the impact. Percy pressed his advantage, leaping high into the air. Pulling water to him, he turned them into high velocity drills. The water spiraled around, a high-pitched whirring filling Percy's ears. He brought the drills down onto All for One, but All for One blocked the attack as a shield of energy appeared around him, the red and black energy flowing over the frayed fabrics of his tattered suit. His mask had torn, and for the first time Percy saw the man's face. Or the lack of one. He had no eyes, no nose, and only a small mouth. His face was just a blank, scarred canvas of cream colored flesh.

All for One channeled more of the energy into his arms, and Percy's eyes widened, as an enormous blast of energy exploded around them. It slammed into Percy, and he was thrown through the air. He felt his skin burn, and the hair on his arms singe, and it felt as though Percy had been run over by a truck. Percy tried to get shakily to his feet, as All for One channeled his energies, and launched a blast of black and red lightning from his fingertips. Percy dodged out of the way, but the ground exploded where the attack landed, and Percy careened through the air. He landed and recovered in a skid. Changing tactics, he channeled his wind, and launched himself at the man. Percy closed the distance in the blink of an eye, and leveled a heavy blow with his metallic arm in the man's midsection. Percy felt something snap as his fist dug into the villain.

All for One recovered, and threw a heavy blow of his own, but Percy ducked, and threw another jab that All for One blocked. Throwing Percy's arm aside, he closed into Percy's guard and leveled two haymakers into Percy's jawline. All for One gripped Percy around the front of his costume, and pulled Percy down as he drove a knee into Percy's stomach. Percy choked as the wind was knocked out of him. All for One gripped the back of Percy's tattered costume and threw him into one of the remaining walls of the collapsed building. Percy crashed through the wall, and landed in a heap on the ground. With a groan, he hauled himself to his feet. This was getting out of hand.

BREAK

Izuku was staring open mouthed at the television. That had been the most absurd display of raw power that Izuku had ever seen. He had spent years, watching videos of All Might fighting a whole host of villains, but never before had Izuku seen anything like what he'd just witnessed. Izuku thought he had known strength and power; thought he had seen true strength. But after seeing Percy literally throw an entire river at the villain, and summon an earthquake, Izuku realized that he had no idea what power and strength really were.

"Damn," Miruko whispered out, "I knew he was strong but this…" She shook her head,

"What-what was that?" Todoroki whispered. He too, was staring transfixed at the screen.

"That is Percy going all out." Miruko explained,

"What are those tattoos? Has he always been able to do that?" Iida asked,

"It's recent," Izuku said, before he could stop himself, "It happened at the USJ, when he was fighting the Nomu."

"He's been training it for a while. He's been up every morning this week, working on fighting with that form." Miruko continued,

"Is-is he trying to kill that villain?" Izuku asked,

"Probably," Miruko shrugged, unconcerned. Izuku just turned to her,

"Why-why do you sound so unconcerned!" he exclaimed, "Heroes shouldn't be killing villains! They're heroes! They help people!"

Miruko gave him a pitying look, "Kid, that naive viewpoint is going to kill you one of these days." She turned her gaze back to the television, and cut Izuku's protest off, "Percy isn't the type to just kill indiscriminately. He's strong enough to do it, and he knows it, but he doesn't do it. He's too good of a man for it."

She shook her head, "But sometimes, you're in a fight with someone too strong for you. There might not be a clean way to incapacitate them. Or just to survive, you have to go all out, you have to fight to kill, if only to survive. In theory, you're right and I agree with you. Heroes are supposed to help people, not hurt them. But in practice…" She snorted, "Impossibility. You'll go up against people all the time where you won't have the strength to take them out easily. Sometimes you just have to fight to protect your own life, and if that means taking the other guy down? So be it."

Izuku didn't know how to respond to that. He disagreed. He didn't think heroes should be responsible for the deaths of others, didn't think it was their right to decide who should live and who should die. That's what villains did. It was one thing to try and kill a monster like Nomu, they weren't human, were hardly even living, but to kill a thinking person? To take a life like that? It was wrong. He turned his attention back to the fight. The camera zoomed in on Percy's face, as he grimaced in pain. Percy was a good person. He was Izuku's friend. He had done more for Izuku than most people ever had, and had been far kinder than most of the people in Izuku's life.

Percy wouldn't really kill the man, would he?

BREAK

"I have to hand it to you, boy, you do have talent," All for One panted out,

"And you look like a godsdamn potato," Percy shot back, wiping a thin line of blood out of his eyes.

"I don't know what you are boy," All for One said, "And I don't know how you got your powers, but you're too dangerous to be kept alive. You've disrupted my plans, destroyed my lab, and now you've injured me. This is the end boy. And after I finish with you, I'll make sure to pay that little school of yours a visit. Hope you enjoyed your trip to the future boy, because this is the end for you!" All for One's body convulsed, as he let out a terrifying roar, the black and red energy coursing over him. His limbs grew, his body bulked, and skin grew more grotesque, as he suddenly to a new and more terrifying form. He became a Goliath of brute strength and power.

Percy rose unsteadily to his feet. He was nearing the end of his limit. He could already feel the toll that his extended stay in his new form was having on his body. But he still had time. He still had strength. People were counting on him. This beast, he was behind everything he'd faced since coming to U.A. He'd been the one to attack Percy's friends. He'd been the one to cost Percy his arm. And if Percy didn't end this here and now, he would do something else. He would harm more innocents. Would bring death to the people Percy was only just starting to allow himself to care deeply for. Percy had to be strong. Had to fight. Percy felt something warm, burning in one of the pouches of his belt. Reaching into his pocket, Percy withdrew the small spork from its contents.

"What the…" Percy said softly. The spork was glowing slightly. Even through the cool steel of his arm, he could feel the warmth the magical weapon was exhibiting. A voice, a painfully familiar voice rang out in the back of his mind,

"I'm proud of you, son. And remember, they called me the Storm-Bringer for a reason." The spork suddenly transformed back into its natural state of a trident. It still looked rusted and dilapidated, but it was glowing brightly. There was flash of lightning, and a crack of thunder overhead. Percy looked up, gazing through his summoned storm at the heavens above. He looked back down at the trident in his hands. It wasn't his sword, but it felt…right. It felt like it belonged in his hands.

"A pretty new toy will not help you child." All for One roared, as he dashed forward.

Percy seemed to know instinctually what to do, as understanding washed over him. He raised the trident high into the heavens, commanding the storm overhead to lend him its power. There was another crack of thunder, and as divine power pulsated through Percy. Lightning flashed overhead, and raced down to the earth below. It struck the trident, arcs of bright blue electricity pulsating along its prongs as it glowed brightly with power. There was another flash of light, and Percy could only watch in awe as the trident transformed. The barnacles and rust disappeared, as glimmering silver and gold took its place. The prongs, once dulled and useless, became sharp as blades once more.

Percy smirked, "Thanks dad, I won't let you down," With a mighty roar, Percy hefted the trident forward, and pointed the prongs at All for One. Bright electricity roared from the tips of the weapon, lighting up the ruins in a brilliant ethereal glow and it raced across the battlefield. The attack collided with All for One, who roared. His skin charred, and his remaining clothing burned as Percy's attack electrified the Goliath.

Percy panted as the last remnants of his attack withered away. The light faded away as All for One fell to one knee. The trident glowed hotly for another second, before the light dimmed and the trident grew cold. The divine silver and gold faded away, and was once more replaced with the foul rust and decay it had always had. Percy took one more look at the dropped form of All for One, and finally let his power die down. As the strength of the gods left him, the full weight of the battle he'd just had hit him. He hurt everywhere, and he felt as though he'd just finished the most grueling exercise of his life.

"Man, I really miss the days where I could just use a sword." Percy grumbled, as he advanced slowly on All for One's prone form.

Percy's eyes widened slightly, as he felt the earth vibrate under his feet. He dived out of the way, just in time, as All for One suddenly lashed out with a large arm. Percy landed in a skid, as the Goliath rose unsteadily to his feet.

"What the hades is wrong with the future?" He ground out, "What does it take to kill you people?"

"Kill me?" All for One laughed, his voice hoarse and rough, "You can't kill a god."

Percy just stared at him.

"Bet,"

All for One charge at him, and Percy braced himself. He was in considerable pain, and felt drained, but he was confident he still had enough juice to hopefully finish the fight. However there was a sudden blur of movement, and something wrapped around Percy's arm, yanking him out of the way. There followed by a sudden crash, and All for One was sent soaring head over heels across the battlefield, crashing into a pile of debris. Percy watched in utter confusion and astonishment, as he stared at the costumed back of All Might. There was the sudden roar of a jet engine, and Percy saw as an impressive looking jet swopped into sight about half a mile away. Looking down, he saw that what grabbed him and pulled him away, was a small, ancient man. Dressed in a strange looking yellow costume, with a very grave expression on his face. Confused and more than a little thrown by the sudden appearances, Percy called out,

"All Might!" The large man turned and looked back at Percy, that ever present grin still on his face. Percy ran forward to the larger man's side.

"Young Percy," All Might said, placing a large hand on Percy's shoulder, "You've done exceptionally well, I'm very proud of you, but leave the rest to me,"

"Like Hades," Percy blurted out, indignation welling up inside of him. "He came after me! He's the one that was behind the attack on the USJ! Get over your own ego for one second, and-"

"This man killed my former mentor," All Might said softly, and Percy froze, and he stared intently at the large man, who continued speaking, "This man has been after me since I was your age. I had to go into hiding because of it. He's my problem. My villain. And this is my fight. Please, Young Percy, I beg of you, do not interfere, I will ask nothing more of you than this, but I have to be the one to end this." There was a pleading to the man's voice that Percy had never heard before. Even behind the permanent smile on his face, there was a desperate look in his eyes. Percy sighed, then nodded, and stepped away.

"Percy," All Might said, and Percy stopped, and looked over his shoulder, "If I should fall, then you have my permission to fight back." Percy nodded, and walked back over to the ancient looking man. As he turned around to watch the fight, he saw something out of the corner of his eye. Turning to look, Percy saw that it was a woman. She was tall, and dark-haired. She was dressed in a brilliant white kimono, and her eyes were a brilliant gold. She was watching Percy intently, and there was familiarity to the woman that Percy couldn't place. Percy blinked, and the woman was gone. He rubbed at his eyes, and looked again, but there was nobody there.

"What are you looking at kid?" The old man asked, and Percy looked away,

"Nothing, just…thought I saw something." Turning back to the action, Percy crossed his arms.

It was time to watch the end of an era.

BREAK

On the other side of the globe, New York City was just beginning to start its day. In a small apartment in downtown, across the street from the Empire State Building, an elderly woman was just starting her day. She hobbled around her small apartment, gathering a small, chipped teapot from a cabinet.

The feeling had returned. It was the same as it had been for the past several weeks. She had felt it for the first time months ago. It had only existed briefly, maybe only for a few minutes before it had abruptly disappeared. It hadn't reappeared after that, in spite of her constant meditation. Then, abrputly, several weeks ago, she'd started feeling it again. Like clockwork, she woke in the late hours of the evening, as the sensation drew her from her sleep. She didn't know where it was coming from, but everyday, around the same time it returned. Each day, the feeling lasted longer than the last. Then, a few moments ago, the feeling had returned. Only this time, it was far more powerful, and potent than it had ever been before.

Somewhere, there was a fight.

It was a sensation that she recognized, but had not felt in decades. Not since the rest of her kin had faded. Why she hadn't faded as well, she hadn't known for a long time. Then, at some time last year, she had felt…something. A surge of power had coursed through her. It had been abrupt, and powerful, and had disappeared almost as soon as it had arrived. for the first time in decades, she had begun to feel any semblance of strength. Her family was her strength, gave her power, and she knew that somewhere out there, a lost member of her family had finally re-emerged. Settling the pot on the stove, she returned to her hearth, its embers once little more that heated coals, were now a small fire. She tended to it for a moment, searching once more for her lost kin, but to no avail. Wherever they were, they were beyond the sight of her hearth. With a sigh, she settled down into her chair, and turned on the mortal news.

She sat up quickly, all traces of drowsiness leaving her, as the news anchor spoke over a picture of a destroyed city.

"Once more, we are coming to you live from the Hokkaido district of Japan, where a fierce battle has just finished. The acclaimed hero All Might, world renowned as the most powerful hero in Japan, has finally ended a battle with a still, as of yet, unnamed villain. The battle began over an ago, where this man," A painfully familiar picture of a young man that she recognized appeared on the screen, "Percy Jackson, known as the Olympic Hero Argonaut, fought a pitched battle against the villain. Argonaut fought valiantly, and even managed to subdue the villain momentarily, before All Might's timely arrival." The picture changed again, and a video of Percy fighting against the villain played before her. A smile tugged at her lips as she saw the familiar blue markings and symbols dotting the young man's skin. So her brother had indeed gifted his lost progeny with a parting gift before he faded. The news anchor continued speaking,

"Argonaut was not available for comment, as he returned to U.A. academy in Musutafu, but it is rumored that he is actually from the time before quirks, and might actually be among the first to be born with his powers. More on this story, as it develops." She turned off the television, and sat back in her chair with a sigh.

"Japan huh?" She said aloud, to nobody in particular, "My boy, you have no idea what kind of storm you probably just unleashed." The Shinto were no doubt aware of his presence now. That would be a problem, the Shinto were territorial by nature, as all of their kind were, and there were those especially in the small island nation, who would not take kindly to the arrival of the son of a sea god. Still, she couldn't quite stop the swelling of happiness in her breast. While the rest of her family might have been gone, they lived on in the incredible young man, who had twice saved the world itself.

For the first time decades, Hestia smiled.

AN: All right, and there you have it! I've been moving towards this for a while now, and I'm so happy that we have finally gotten here. Things get very interesting from here moving onwards. Now, while I fully intend on telling a new story, that doesn't mean that certain plot points aren't going to show from canon. It just means that the overall story won't be centered around the canonical plot. Now I would like to briefly explain myself here, my original plan was for Percy to take out One for All and then the main plot would begin, but I ended up scrapping that idea. This fight is simply too important for All Might and his character for me to let Percy take up the slack. So All Might gets his fight, and Percy makes his presence known to the world at large. This is the last chapter I've written for this current arc, so it'll probably be a bit before we get back to this. I've got come chapters written up for One-Seven, which is getting some much needed love and if you haven't read it, but you enjoyed this, please give it or any of my other works a try! Thanks again for all the love and support here folks
