Previously on Dragon Ball Super Aftermath: The Primal God

Nygyn's eyes widen. "My lord... Are you sure they are ready to see it? You said another googolplex years-"

"Do it," Arhenahin replies. "They will have to see the truth. Come out, Caelicola."

Piccolo nods and walks toward Nygyn, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Arhenahin: Absolvisti!"

Nygyn glows brightly, and a multicolored pillar of energy shoots off into the Metempiric Space. A new figure emerges, and he rises, turning toward Arhenahin. "...I'll take it from here, my lord."

He spreads his heads, and a shock wave goes through the entire Metempiric Space, patching the holes and repairing it. "This brings back good memories..."

"This doesn't make sense, though," Gohan says. "Wasn't Nygyn- I mean... Caelicola, a follower of Akuma?"

"I was at one point," Caelicola replies. "That is not important right now. We need to come up with a plan to take down mother."

Arhenahin nods. "I am sorry if this is confusing to all of you. Right now, we need to prepare ourselves and go into a full lockdown. Mother is Omnipotent. We cannot destroy her, but we could perhaps put her to an infinite slumber."

Chapter Eight

"Is it possible to put such a powerful being into slumber?" Gohan asks. "She is capable of destroying existence as we know it in an instant. She has control over the entire Void."

"I am well aware," Arhenahin replies. "Caelicola was a victim of her wrath. The Spatium Space got destroyed by her, but he was able to flee in time."

"What's the Spatium Space?" Piccolo asks, confused. "I thought the Metempiric Space was all there is?"

"There used to be more realities spread across the Void," Caelicola says. "However, over time, Mother got a little irritated and destroyed them. We are the remaining creators left. I fled here and told Arhenahin what happened. He allowed me to suppress myself and lay low."

Piccolo nods. "I see. How many realities were there through the Void?"

"There were about eight," Arhenahin responds. "Each served a different purpose. This reality's purpose is... anime."

"Anime?" Gohan asks. "As in..."

"It's what you are, like it or not," Arhenahin replies. "This entire reality is anime. Let's try not to bring this up."

He glances toward Caelicola. "I've been creating something far more potent than the Blessing ever since Akuma's defeat. It's a marking with three limiters. Each of them makes you more powerful than the last."

Suddenly, he grunts and falls out of his throne, but stops himself before he hits the throne. The other four run over to check and see what's wrong with him. Arhenahin grunts and clutches his chest.

"I thought we got rid of it, my lord!" Caelicola says, concerned. Gohan turns toward him in confusion. "Got rid of what? What's happening to him?!"

"Damn Mother!" Caelicola curses. "We believe she put a very ancient lock on him to restrict his powers. Show them, lord Arhenahin."

Arhenahin hesitates, then closes his eyes as his body turns transparent. There would be markings covering the inside of his body, as a black ring with a red outline would be clamping around his heart, squeezing it. Energy from his body would be drawn toward it.

"This is bad," Piccolo says. "We know she will most likely come back and destroy everything. Without Arhenahin, we cannot win the battle."

"Can't you break it?" Goku asks. Arhenahin shakes his head. "I'm afraid not. No amount of strength could destroy it. It must be made with the very essence of the Void. Its durability and mass are immeasurable."

"Except the only way to destroy something made from the Void is the power of the Void itself," Gohan chimes in. Everybody looks at him, surprised. Gohan sighs. "It's obvious. We need to find a way to use the Void form that Vegeta used to destroy Furouxa."

"Nobody knows how to obtain that essence," Caelicola replies. "It's extremely complicated. Arhenahin and I were born with it."

"Hold up," Goku says, walking forward. "Arhenahin eventually lost his powers since he split them, and they became diluted. You clearly didn't do the same thing, Nygyn. You still have access to your god form. Shouldn't you have the essence?"

Even Arhenahin looks toward him for confirmation. Caelicola would be silent for a moment, then sighs. "It's complicated. But yes, I have a little bit. Mother took away most of it a long time ago."

He raises his hand, and the very fabric of reality begins to warp around it, as it seems to start being pulled in toward a center of infinite mass. A glowing multi-colored cloud of Void essence forms in his hand.

Right after it forms, reality seems to be trying to get away from it. "Behold, this essence is the anti-reality. When the two meet, they repel each other, but the Void is the more superior essence. However, as I said, I was born with it. I do not know how to obtain any more of it."

"How much more of it do you have?" Piccolo asks. Caelicola looks down at the ground. "This is all of it. We need to disassemble it and figure out its true power. The fate of reality depends on this small portion."

"Give it to me," Piccolo says. "Zalama, who is a part of me, is one of the smartest gods who ever existed. Arhenahin and I must work together to figure it out. If-... once we do, Goku and Vegeta will be able to transform once again, and possibly even fuse against Mother."

"Void fusion?" Goku smiles. "Alright. That's a good idea. Surely it has to be enough to take the void on."

"Then it's settled," Caelicola says as he turns toward Arhenahin and offers it to him. "Your prime was powerful, my lord. If we can figure this out, you could also enter your true power. You are the true God out of all the realities."

"He was the strongest?" Goku asks, amazed. Caelicola nods at his question. "Believe it or not, he was at the top. Out of all the realities, he had the most power. In fact, he was even stronger than you and Vegeta's Voidic forms."

Arhenahin waves his hand. "Alright, alright. It would be beneficial if I could get back into my prime. I will talk to Piccolo too. However, I will need your help as well, Caelicola. Piccolo, please take us to your dimension. Son Goku and Gohan, there is something very important you must know. There is a very ancient god located in a secret dimension outside the Metempiric Space. You must learn how to get to them.

"Who is this god?" Goku asks. Arhenahin closes his eyes. "A very old friend of mine. The key to getting there is located in my throne room. He is the oldest creator. We will get back to you in a couple of days of your time."

Piccolo nods, and he raises his hand, opening a massive portal. The three deities walk through it, and it closes behind them. The only ones left would be Goku and Gohan.

"Do you think they will succeed, Dad?" Gohan asks. Goku turns toward him and nods. "They have to. The void will return at any point. We must train and prepare ourselves for the final battle."

Later, the two Saiyans would be training intensely in the Alpha Realm, soaring across the sky. Explosions would appear everywhere at once. The two would punch back and forth in their Omni Evolution forms.

They rapidly vanish across the sky as they would be training intensely. Goku yells and uses his Daishinkan and Blessing powers, sending Gohan flying through many Omniverses.

Gohan gets up, wiping blood off his chin. He roars and enters his Mystic state, powering up to full power as well. He zooms forward and brings back his fist. "Arhenahin: Stagno!"

He slams a punch into Goku, and he is paralyzed. Gohan then rapidly barrages him with full force. "Celeritas!" He goes even faster than finishes it with a kick, sending Goku flying downward.

He then has an idea, as he places a hand on his back. "Lorem!" He uses an Arhenahin technique on himself as he launches himself at Gohan twice the speed he launched him.

Gohan would be shocked but barely have enough time to react. "Armis!" A coating of powerful armor applies to him as the punch lands, sending a massive shock wave.

He grunts, having negated a ton of the damage. The two continue to clash, sending chunks of matter in every direction. The two launch at each other, bringing back their fists. However, a punch lands on Goku's face and sends him back.

He turns to see Vegeta in Omni Evolution, smirking. "I woke up and couldn't help join your spar. I'm behind you two, but that won't be for long."

Goku smiles widely. "Heh! I missed fighting ya, but we've gotten stronger than before." Vegeta launches toward him and begins to barrage him, yelling.

He dodges each of Vegeta's attacks, then spins around and kicks him in the gut, causing him to cough up spit. "You should keep training with us, Vegeta. We learned new techniques from Piccolo and Nygyn. I'll teach them to you."

Vegeta clenches his fists. "You and Gohan might have surpassed me, but I will get stronger! I will keep up with both of you, and we will kick the Void's ass!"

A portal opens next to them, as all of the Tier Sevens come out of it: the God of Strength, Speed, Time, Cold, Heat, Power, and others. Goku turns toward them, confused. "What's up, guys?"

The God of Strength walks forward and places a hand on Goku's shoulder. "We had a deep discussion and made a decision. We want to fuse ourselves with you three permanently. You three need a massive boost in power."

Gohan gasps. "Wait... are you serious? Permanently fusing with multiple Tier Sevens would make us a lot stronger, but it isn't worth your lives!"

"It is," the God of Speed chimes in. "The fate of everything rests on you three. We won't be able to do this alone. It's either we go, or everybody dies. Lord Arhenahin, Piccolo, and Nygyn will succeed."

Vegeta sighs then looks back up at them. "Fine. Let's get this over with."

"Are you really sure you want to do this for us?" Goku asks, and the Tier Sevens nod simultaneously. "...Alright. Let's do it."

The God of Strength places his hand on Goku and Vegeta's shoulders. "Sacrificium!" He splits his essence, and it goes into Goku and Vegeta. The God of Power fuses with Goku and Vegeta as well, along with the God of Time.

The God of Speed, Cold, and Heat fuse with Gohan, as he'd now have immeasurable speed, control over time, and control over temperature. The three of them would have an astronomically massive power-up.

"I have unlimited power," Goku says, looking at his hands in shock. He yells and enters Omni Evolution, sending pillars of energy up into the air. He yells, his energy rising, not having a cap anymore.

Vegeta brings back his fist and swings it, as millions of Omniverses explode. He then uses his time powers to reverse time back to before the destruction happened. "Unbelievable... Our powers have been amplified many times!"

Gohan smirks and gets into a stance, facing both his father and Vegeta. "Well, let's continue the spar and learn to control our powers. Can you keep up with my speed, though?"

He vanishes then zooms in front of Goku, kicking him in the gut. He coughs up spit as he is sent back flying. He then turns around to see Vegeta's fist flying toward his face, an inch in front of it.

Right before it hits, he ducks then coats his fist in energy. "Celeritas!" In an instant, he'd have punched Vegeta and sent him flying, going across the Metempiric Space. "GUCK!"

Goku vanishes behind Gohan and rapidly barrages him with a flurry of punches and kicks. Gohan dodges all of them and swings a punch at his face. He dodges his punch, surprising him. "What?!"

Goku roars and slams a punch into his stomach, causing Gohan to cough up blood. "Stagno!" Gohan finds himself unable to move, as Vegeta shoots in front of him. "FINAL... FLASH!"

"Speculum!" Gohan mirrors the attack back at him, forcing him to move out of the way. Goku smirks and turns toward Vegeta. "Hey, this isn't a 2v1, ya know!" He yells and begins to attack Vegeta, and the two begin to clash.

It would be clear Goku has the advantage in power. He uppercuts Vegeta then flips over him, kicking him downward. Just as he does that, Gohan launches at him. "KA... ME... HA... ME... HAAA!"

He launches a giant blue beam toward Goku, and his body hardens. "Armis!" A massive explosion happens, and Goku stands there with most of the damage negated on his body.

He blinks and suddenly Gohan is gone. He turns just in time to see his face slammed by Gohan's foot, sending him tumbling back. "AGH!"

Goku manages to stop himself, panting. He watches as Vegeta flies over in rage and begins to fight Gohan. "His speed is too much... If only... I have half of the God of Power and Strength... Omni Evolution must not be the final form now. I have to do this... for EVERYONE!"

He inhales and lets out a roar, a pillar of light cracking reality around him. "HAAAAAAAAA!"

A shock wave shoots from him, catching Gohan and Vegeta's attention. Goku's red glowing lines and orange hair and pupils begin to glow brighter. His hair turns dark red, and the glowing lines become wider and spread across his body some more.

A huge portion of the Metempiric Space shakes, alerting a lot of the gods. Gohan's eyes widen in confusion. "What- what is this transformation?"

Vegeta gasps when he senses the energy. "This energy..."

"Could it be that he unlocked the... Celestial Essence?" Gohan asks. "But how? How could somebody get it as well? He has every type of energy!"

Goku opens his eyes and they would be multicolored, a galactic light in them. "Alright. Let's continue."

Gohan nods toward Vegeta and the two launch toward Goku, beginning to barrage him. Goku dodges all of the attacks, as his eyes turn silver for a moment. He swings his fist as a burst of air launches them back.

"He used Ultra Instinct while in that form momentarily," Vegeta observes. "Damn it... Kakarot is another step ahead of me! I have to catch up..."

"Celeritas!" Gohan vanishes and shoots in front of Goku, going to kick him. Goku blocks it with one arm, not moving his head. He then raises his fist, covering it in an essence the same color as his eyes. It would have billions of dots as if they are stars.

He spins around and yells. "Almighty Smite!" He slams it into Gohan's gut, as lightning strikes across the Metempiric Space. He is sent so far, that he hits the edge of reality, before going unconscious.

Goku powers down and pants heavily, sweat going down his face. "That technique... It had... the same kind of power as Arhenahin's attack..."

He vanishes next to Gohan and kneels over, placing a hand on his chest. "Restitutio." A pulse goes through Gohan as he grunts, leaning up. "Dad... What kind of attack was that?"

"I unlocked a new transformation," Goku replies. "I had Celestial Essence and... something else..."

"We must get to that ancient god Arhenahin was talking about earlier," Gohan reminds them. "He said the god is outside the Metempiric Space in a secret dimension. Why did he hide that from us before?"

"Let's ask those questions later," Vegeta says. "We must get to Arhenahin's throne room and find a way to open that portal. This god may have many answers to our problems. Arhenahin said he is the oldest creator. Does that mean he was the first one out of the other gods that created the realities?"

"That's a good observation," Gohan replies. "Anyhow, we must get going. The sooner we get to that god, the better."

"Grab onto me," Goku says, as he raises his fingers up to his head. He concentrates on one of the angel maids working in the palace and teleports the three of them to the energy signature.

They teleport right in front of the angel and she screams, running off to another room before one of them could respond to her. Goku looks around and sees the throne room completely empty. "Now's our chance. We cannot let anybody see us doing this."

"Start looking for secret levers and such," Gohan says. The three of them split up and walk around the throne room, touching and pulling different objects to try and find a secret mechanism.

Vegeta's eyes focus down on the floor, where there would be many different patterns leading up to an eye. He walks over and kneels down. He yells and punches the ground, but it doesn't budge.

This catches Goku and Gohan's attention, as they walk over. Gohan looks over his shoulder at the eye. "Vegeta, what are you doing? Are you trying to get us into trouble?"

"Just help me destroy this eye," Vegeta replies, irritated. Goku walks forward and transforms into Omni Evolution, roaring. He begins to barrage the eye, but it still wouldn't budge.

"You have to enter your new transformation, dad!" Gohan says. Goku yells and powers up, his hair turning dark red, and the entire palace shaking. The walls crack and he raises his fist.

"FORTE!" He coats his fist in all of his energy and he slams it on the eye. A massive shock wave spreads across the Metempiric Space, as it begins to crack. The eye shatters, and there would be a hidden room.

"Bingo!" Goku leaps down and there would be cobwebs everywhere. "What is this place? Hmm..." He turns to see a glowing lever made entirely out of the same essence he used against Gohan earlier. "What the...?"

He sees a sign up above and he wipes the dust off of it, but the text would be too faded to read. Vegeta and Gohan leap down behind him and he places a hand on the lever. "Well, here goes nothing."

He pulls it, and dust rains down from the ceiling, as the entire palace shakes. Guard angels would be hurrying around, trying to figure out what is going on. A secret panel opens up in the room, as a floating ring would begin rapidly spinning.

A portal lights up, and electricity shoots out of it, slowly melting the area around it. They would see many, many dots in the distance, but there would be a large one close to them.

"Let's leave home and go visit the ancient god," Goku says. The three of them hesitate, before walking straight into the portal, it closing behind them due to being too unstable to maintain itself.
