Previously on Dragon Ball Aftermath: The Primal God

Arhenahin, Caelicola, and Materia place a hand on Goku's back to help him regulate it. Goku inhales and exhales slowly as he begins to concentrate and find the exact location Akuma is at.

After a minute, his eyes open. "Found him. I'm going to need you to keep regulating my energy." He raises his two hands as he tears the Void layer that he used to seal Akuma.

From it, submerges a cube with a trillion seals on it. Sitting there would be Akuma, meditating, and fully healed. As soon as he is lifted out of the cube, he slowly opens his eyes, then looks at them for a moment.

Then, his eyes shoot open, and a giant shock wave causes the cube to crack. An orange and pink aura flares up around him as he begins to break the cube open. "THERE YOU ARE! You have some nerve to UNSEAL ME!"

Goku gets into a stance and enters his evolved Omni Evolution form. Arhenahin notices it, his eyes widening. "How did he obtain God Essence...?"

Akuma stops and smiles sadistically. "So, you got a little stronger, brat! I will not forgive you for making a fool out of me!" The cube bursts open, and part of the Metempiric Space explodes.

Chapter Ten

Akuma walks forward out of the cube, noticing Arhenahin, Caelicola, and Materia. Arhenahin waves his hand and creates a platform for them to fight on. "What the hell is this?! Caelicola? Materia?! What kind of damn sick joke is this?! Did Mother not make herself clear?!"

"We know why you became so powerful, Akuma," Materia says, walking forward as well. "Your absorbing powers, your Voidic Beings, your godly abilities... You possess the God Essence orb."

Akuma clenches his fist, baring his teeth. "And I assume you unsealed me to take it away from me? I won't let you do that..."

"All of Akuma's powers are because of the God Essence orb?" Gohan asks, shocked. Caelicola nods. "That's correct. When I saw him the first time in my Nygyn form, I knew something was different about him."

Akuma raises his hand and launches a googol blasts at all of them.

Gohan and Vegeta power up into Omni Evolution, as Goku launches himself forward, maneuvering around the blasts. He brings back his fist and clashes a punch with Akuma. The clash would be so mighty that some Metempiric Space reality gets deleted and becomes a soupy undefined mess.

Arhenahin, Caelicola, and Materia would be deflecting the blast. Akuma smirks as Goku then slams a punch onto his face, but it does nothing to phase him. He waves his hand, and Goku is sent flying, Arhenahin catching him.

Vegeta and Gohan go on the offense and begin to attack Akuma side by side, but the attacks would be doing nothing. Akuma brings back his fist and swings it at Gohan. "Armis!"

Gohan attempts to negate the damage, but Akuma is far above his level. He feels his body break and his eyes go blank as he is sent flying back, coughing blood. Goku raises his fist and covers it in God Essence. "Celeritas!"

He zooms forward toward Akuma and swings his fist. "ALMIGHTY SMITE!"

Akuma yells and swings his fist as well. "Pugnus Mors Est!" The two clash their attacks, and a massive explosion sends everybody skidding back. In the center of the blast would be a vortex.

Goku would be getting overpowered by Akuma. He feels his arm start to tear and his bones breaking. He yells in pain as he continues to try and win the struggle. His arm turns purple as it rips again, starting to cave in.

"Don't do it, Goku!" Arhenahin yells at him. "You'll die!"

Goku continues to skid back; the wind from the vortex almost flattening his hair. "P... PULSUS!" A massive pulse shoots from him, and he slowly begins to overpower Akuma.

"How is he still able to use his arm?" Vegeta asks himself as he looks closer and sees that Goku constructed artificial bones using God Essence.

"His new form, plus fusing with the Tier Sevens, made him more powerful than I could've imagined a mortal getting," Caelicola says. "He's... already getting close to Arhenahin's current full power."

"I'm just warming up," Akuma says. "Viribus!" His muscles grow more prominent as Goku feels his spine snapping, as he does everything he can to not fall to his attack.

Goku pants and coughs blood into the abyss before looking up, yelling. "Terminus!" He breaks his limits and pushes Akuma back, surprising him. "And... FORTE!"

An explosion of energy shoots from his fist, and Akuma is sent flying across the Void, grunting. Goku falls on the platform Arhenahin created earlier, panting heavily. "Gck... Did... did I do it?"

Piccolo crosses his arms, sweat going down the side of his face. "He's not going to be beaten that easily."

He looks up to see Akuma flying back toward him, yelling. "BASTARD!"

Gohan, who used Restitutio, flies over and brings his fist back. "LOREM!" He sends Akuma flying back at twice the velocity he had before.

He leans down and picks up Goku, carrying him over his shoulder. "You three gods, we need your help!"

Akuma vanishes in front of them and cracks his neck, starting to glow brightly. "Ah, that's better... That was a nice warm-up. Let's get to the real battle."

He glances toward Arhenahin and smirks. "Not going to use your true form this time? Well... Velocitatem!" In an instant, he'd have already slammed a punch into Arhenahin's gut, sending him flying into the Metempiric Space.

Caelicola slams a kick into him and sends him skidding back. Materia vanishes behind him and begins to barrage him. "Gck... What the hell?! You two are in your true forms?!"

The two Caeleste continue to attack Akuma and send him back and forth. Akuma leaps back, launching lightning hotter than the Planck temperature at them. They avoid it and kick Akuma simultaneously, flinging him back.

Akuma skids back and stands up, his wounds regenerating. "Don't forget, I nearly killed Arhenahin in his true form..." He creates a sword, as he morphs into a half-dragon, sort of like a Zoan fruit.

As Vegeta is watching, he feels himself powering down, his Ki being depleted. "What the- DAMN IT!" He turns toward Arhenahin, Goku, and Gohan. "You three, power down! I forgot he could absorb our powers passively!"

Akuma slices Materia in half and sends him back, but he reforms in an instant. Caelicola places a hand on his back. "Crepitus Tengoku!"

A massive white and golden energy blast consumes Akuma and sends him flying, but he regenerates, roaring. His muscles bulk up as his power rises. "This gives me good memories of the battle against Arhenahin..."

He continues to clash with Caelicola and Materia, more shock waves appearing everywhere. The two gods would be overwhelming him, making it challenging to keep up. They both slam a punch in his face, sending him flying back.

Piccolo shoots forward and enters his true dragon form, roaring. He launches a massive blast, but Akuma flicks it away and waves his hand, casting him back.

However, he'd be absorbing their powers, getting stronger. He zooms forward and elbows Caelicola in the gut, sending him flying. Arhenahin vanishes above him and yells, launching a blast at him.

Akuma deflects it and grabs Arhenahin by the neck, swinging his sword to try and kill him. However, he is saved by Materia, who kicks him in the side, forcing him to let go.

He stops and looks straight at Goku, then the others. "I sense something powerful that you possess... What is it? Could it be some of the Almighty Orbs?"

"He's onto us," Caelicola murmurs to Materia. "We need to finish this fast."

The two Caeleste roar, powering up to their max. They launch forward and begin to kick Akuma back and forth. They would both be more potent than Arhenahin's current full power.

Akuma roars and begins to grow in size. He towers over the entire Metempiric Space as he rises to half the height of it. He enters his true dragon form, roaring. He opens his mouth and charges a full-power blast.

Caelicola, Materia, and Arhenahin do the same. They would charge a combined blast. Akuma yells. "GO TO HELL!" He launches a shot that could eradicate the entire Metempiric Space with ease.

"ALMIGHTY UNION!" The three Caeleste launch a blast as well and clash with Akuma. He grunts as the explosions would be equally powerful. The center of the collision would be shaking a part of the Void.

Goku gets up, as he would've had time to heal using the God Essence. He powers up into his evolved Omni Evolution and gets into a stance. "KA... ME... HA... ME... HAA!"

He launches a full-power blast that combines with the Caeleste's, and it would begin to overpower Akuma. "WHAT?! NO!"

The blast hits him and results in a massive explosion that sends everybody flying back. Akuma shrinks down to his standard form and falls onto the cracked platform, panting.

He gets up and sees Goku, Arhenahin, Caelicola, and Materia walking toward him, preparing to attack him. Akuma gets up, grunting. "Fine... I will use my trump card! A shame I didn't get the chance to use it against the mortal brat in his Void form..."

He raises his hand, and a glowing orb materializes in it. The power the sphere radiates would be indescribable. When exposed to the Void, it would slowly be constructing reality around it.

"That's the orb that God Essence originated from," Materia confirms. "Its power is immense. It's the second most powerful orb in the Void. We must not let him use it!"

The three Caeleste launch toward Akuma, but it would be too late. He smirks and raises the orb into the air, absorbing some of the essences it generates. His veins begin to glow as he yells in pain, pulsating.

Electricity shoots from him, as the orb's sheer power creates a reality almost as big as the Metempiric Space. "GCH... This is a far greater amount than what I usually use..."

He roars again and transforms, growing in size. His body begins to have a dark, red galactic glow. The God Essence spreads across his skin, and his power skyrockets. "Now, then... I will finally have my revenge on you, Arhenahin..."

He'd create trillions of massive Omniverses and launch them toward the fighters. Arhenahin, Caelicola, Materia, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo would launch upward, plowing through them.

Caelicola vanishes in front of Akuma and yells, swinging a punch and hitting his face, causing a shock wave. However, it would only move his torso slightly. "Your energy... It's familiar... Wait a minute..."

He growls and grabs Caelicola by the neck. "You bastard... Were you that Nygyn fool that nearly killed me and brought me all this trouble?! It was you this entire time?!"

Caelicola chuckles weakly. "That's right... I knew you were Akuma from the start..."

Akuma begins to crush his neck out of anger, then kicks him, sending him flying. Materia and Goku fly in front of him, starting to barrage him. He dodges their attacks, then raises his fist. "Next, I will take the orbs you have as well and kill Mother..."

He punches them both in the face, sending them flying. "I am even stronger than I was when I killed your friend... I wonder how he returned from the Void..."

Piccolo vanishes behind him, in his Divine form. "Don't forget, the original Dragon God is a part of me! Don't underestimate me!" He spins his staff and presses it against Akuma, yelling. "SUPREME FRANGO!"

A dragon made out of energy roars and bites down on Akuma with great force. Akuma smirks and waves his hand, absorbing the dragon. "Oh, I'm not underestimating you. It's just you're pathetic."

He punches Piccolo on the face, and he feels his body break, knocking him unconscious.

"PICCOLO!" Gohan grunts, and his hair spikes up in anger. He roars as a pillar of light shoots from him, catching the attention of Akuma. He enters the evolved Omni Evolution form Goku previously obtained.

Goku's eyes widen in surprise. "Gohan...?"

"Dad, we need to fuse now!" Gohan says. "Otherwise, we'll lose! We have to get that orb."

Goku nods and powers up into the evolved state as well. "Alright, let's do this." He places a hand on Gohan's shoulder, and his eyes flicker before his aura sparks. "Arhenahin... Fusion!"

Their bodies get drawn toward each other, and a new fusion is born, shaking part of the Void. A newly reformed Gokhan walks forward. Vegeta watches from the sidelines, irritated. "Tch... I'm far behind them..."

"Their power is astronomical," Arhenahin admits. "It's even more than Gogito during the final battle with Akuma. I'm curious to see what this fusion can offer."

Gokhan smirks and ultimately disappears from Akuma's view. He looks around, squinting. "Where did he go?"

In an instant, he'd be uppercut and sent flying upward, yelling. He is then mauled to the platform, splitting it in half. He launches upward and clashes with Gokhan, but the fusion would clearly have the upper hand.

He kicks Akuma in the gut, then flips over and kicks him again. Akuma roars and counters his attacks, slamming a punch into Gokhan's heart. He coughs up blood as he is then sent flying back.

Gokhan wipes the blood off his chin and vanishes once again. "Celeritas!" He amplifies his speed and shoots around Akuma rapidly. "Nubila!" A bunch of blasts rains down onto Akuma from above, and he raises his arms to block the attacks.

While he is distracted, Gokhan would then swing his fist at Akuma, launching a glowing beam. "Lux Beam!" It consumes Akuma and sends him flying across the Void. "DAGH!"

"Now, it's time to get that orb!" Gokhan says. "Permuto!" He swaps places with Akuma as he is sent flying toward Gokhan.

He catches Akuma and reaches for the orb in his hand, but Akuma spins around and kicks his gut. "GAH!"

Akuma continues to grow in power, his body starting to change again. "I will eventually become stronger than Mother... I'll be the one to rule the Void!"

Gokhan lands on his feet and skids back, smirking. "I won't allow that. KAIOKEN TIMES TEN!" He yells, and a giant red aura flares up around him. He launches toward Akuma and knees him in the face.

Akuma stumbles back, grunting. Gokhan then launches a Masenkamehameha that sends him flying back, then exploding in mid-air. Akuma lands, and part of his body reforms, altering itself once again. "GRAH!"

Pillars of energy shoot out of the ground, causing everything to flash around them. He rushes forward and grabs Gokhan by the face, slamming him onto the remnants of the platform. He then throws him, sending him flying.

He smirks and turns toward the three Caeleste, raising his hand. "Now, it's time to die... I will show you the true power of the orb! It's time to recreate the Void in my image!" He raises his hand with the orb and begins to glow.

His body's veins begin to glow, but something would be off. He looks at the orb, and his eyes widen. "Wh-What the hell is this?!"

Gokhan lands and turns toward Akuma, smirking. He raises his hand and would have the God Essence orb. "I swapped it with the Celestial Essence orb when I kneed you. This is the end for you."

Sweat goes down Akuma's face as Gokhan raises his hand and begins to draw power from the God Essence orb. He begins to transform as God Essence covers his body. He yells and glows brightly.

He opens his eyes, and they would be glowing white—the three Caeleste watch in shock at his immense power.

"Could it be... that orb transformed him into a Caeleste?" Materia asks himself.

Akuma roars, his aura flaring up to its maximum size. "So what if you have that orb?! I am still powerful enough to kill you!" He launches forward and swings a full-force punch at Gokhan.

Gokhan blocks the punch with the back of his hand. He then grabs Akuma and throws him, sending him flying across the Void at extreme speeds.

Akuma grunts and transforms into his true dragon form and launches a massive blast, but Gokhan simply just slaps it away into the distance. Materia tosses the orb with his remaining Void energy, and Gokhan absorbs a little bit of it.

He transforms into the Void form temporarily as he raises his hand. Akuma vanishes in front of him in his hybrid form and kicks him with full-force, but... it does nothing. Akuma, one of the strongest beings in the Void, is unable to harm Gokhan.

Gokhan smiles and then creates a cube around him, beginning to close the void in on him again. "It's time to end this. Goodbye for good, Akuma."

He closes his fist, and Akuma's muffled yells are heard as he is sealed into the Void once again, saving the day. Gokhan is forced to defuse, as only a tiny portion of Void essence is left since he used a lot of it.

Goku and Gohan pant heavily as Caelicola flies over and picks up the God Essence Orb. "You two have done amazing. Thanks to you..." His face darkens. "I've finally obtained it."

Everybody turns toward him, unsettled. Materia squints at him, suspicious. "Caelicola? What do you mean?"

Caelicola smirks, and his eyes pulse, sending a shock wave that sends everybody back. "Oh, don't get the wrong idea, Materia. I was never on your side. I was only a spy for Mother..."

Arhenahin clenches his fists, trying to suppress his anger. "You... were sent by Mother? Why, Caelicola? All this time, you served under me. You became famous among the gods. You helped us to get closer to obtaining the Void Essence."

Caelicola laughs, and he creates a portal, tossing the God Essence orb into it. "Mother will like this find. She's been searching for it for years. Obtaining the Void Essence? Hah! I never helped you. In fact, I made it even more difficult. I summoned some during the testing to trick you into believing you are making progress."

He waves his hand and the spot where Akuma was sealed moves and ripples. Akuma flies out of the seal and lands, chuckling. "Fine job, Caelicola..."

Arhenahin and Materia launch forward at full speed, swinging a punch at Caelicola, who dodges them. He kicks Materia back as he grabs Arhenahin by the neck. "Every time I called you 'Lord,' I had to resist the urge to gag. After Mother punished me by sealing my powers for disobeying her, I notified Ak- Tiias and went to your reality."

FLASHBACK

"You failed to find the God Essence orb," a tall figure says. It would have a feminine upper torso, while its lower torso would be submerged in the void. It would have long hair and white eyes.

"But, mother," Caelicola pleads, "That god Solis got away with the orb. I know she has it. Tiias and I are certain. We've been doing our best, but she's too powerful."

She sneers and goes down to Caelicola, flicking him on the head and sending him flying back. "I do not care if she is too powerful. It would be bothersome to deal with a Caeleste, should one of them learn to control the orb's power. Retrieve it, or you will have severe consequences."

"Yes, mother," Caelicola replies. He turns around and starts to fly off, going to look for his brother Tiias.

What a twist! All this time, Nygyn/Caelicola was plotting against Arhenahin alongside Akuma/Tiias. Why do they despise Arhenahin so much? Who indeed is the Void? If they are allies, why do Nygyn and Akuma fight?
