Previously on Dragon Ball Super Aftermath: The Primal God

Vegeta instantly switches to Super Saiyan and slides his feet across the ground, bringing back his fist. "HAA!" He slams it onto Akuma's face, sending him flying back.

Akuma is sent crashing through many rocks, sliding across the ground. He grunts in pain and struggles to get up. "Just... two punches?! Two punches hurt me this much?! What's your trick, Saiyan?!"

"Oh, it's nothing much," Vegeta replies, smirking. "Just pure strength."

"Pure strength?!" Akuma roars, running forward. "How could pure strength do that much?!"

He launches beams of darkness toward Vegeta and he flickers out of the way of them in an instant. "I remember you being much stronger, or maybe it's just because I'm far above your level."

Explosions travel across the air, smashing holes in the battlefield. Vegeta and Akuma rapidly clash attack after attack, being equal in power. They zoom around, clashing centillions of times per second.

Vegeta uppercuts Akuma and sends him back. Tiias yells and launches glowing blue fire toward him. Vegeta plows through it and kicks him in the gut, sending him spiraling back.

He launches a Galick Gun that Akuma dodges, then spreads his arms, causing matter and anti-matter to collide together right at Vegeta's position. There would be a gigantic explosion, him laughing.

A burst of wind knocks the smoke away, as Vegeta wipes a little blood leaking out of his mouth. "I'm bored of you, Akuma. It's time to end this."

"I am just getting warmed up!" Akuma replies, powering up once more. He vanishes in front of Vegeta and punches him in the face, sending him flying. "NNGH!"

Vegeta crashes into a rock and gets up. He smirks and raises his hand, grabbing Akuma using a telekinetic force. "GN... WHAT THE?!"

He then yells and slams Akuma into the battlefield with full force, causing part of it to shatter. He continues to do that over and over again, debris being launched everywhere.

He then finishes the attack by closing his fists, a huge supernova creating a shock wave across the area.

A moment later, Akuma manages to get up, coughing blood onto the ground. "Son of a... I can't counter his forces!"

He roars and begins to grow in size, getting bigger and bigger by the second. He grows wings, a tail, and horns. He enters his dragon form, growling at Vegeta. He lets out an ear-piercing roar.

He opens his mouth wide and it begins to glow. He launches a barrage of quick beams toward Vegeta. Vegeta hops out of the way of one and then holds his hand up, reflecting it toward Akuma.

Akuma growls and knocks it out of the way with his wing. He flaps his wings and zooms toward him, a glowing trail following him. "No more underestimating the demon of the Void, Saiyan! I am the one who defeated Arhenahin twice!"

Vegeta raises his fists and prepares to take the attack. Akuma crashes into him, causing him to skid back far, struggling to stop. He slams his foot on the ground and Akuma is suddenly unable to push him. "What?!"

Vegeta yells, the ground cracking under him. He looks up, his hair glowing blue. He'd have entered Super Saiyan Blue. He throws Akuma with such force that he is disintegrated.

He powers down and turns toward Ryina, who wouldn't be phased by the death of Akuma and Furouxa. "Hm... They lost. What a shame."

In the distance, Solis gets up off the ground, coughing. "I got knocked out... How pathetic of me. I need to rejoin the battle." She launches forward, plowing through many Voidic Beings.

Akuma manages to regenerate and roars in anger, powering up even further than before. "Bastard! Do not underestimate me!"

He grows into full size in his dragon form and stands on his hind legs, letting out a roar that shakes the battlefield. He flaps his wings and creates a shock wave that blasts a lot of the gods back.

He opens his mouth wide and begins to charge an even more powerful blast than before. Vegeta takes a couple of steps forward and gets into a stance, charging up into Super Saiyan Blue Evolution. "Come."

"GRAHH!" Part of the battlefield collapses as he launches his biggest blast toward Vegeta yet. Vegeta closes his eyes and raises his hand, grabbing the blast with his bare hand and stopping it with ease.

"That's i-impossible!" Akuma says, sweat going down his face.

"I've trained under four Caeleste for trillions of years," Vegeta replies. He then teleports the blast inside Akuma's body and it explodes. Akuma roars in pain and coughs up blood, falling onto the ground.

Then, to everyone's surprise, Akuma begins to tear up. "No... I cannot fail Mother again... She has... She will kill us..."

He then shakes his head and growls, getting up again. "The demon of the void does not CRY! How pathetic of me! I must have gotten hit in the eye by a stray Ki blast!"

"What a shock," Caelicola mutters. "What is Ryina doing to him behind the scenes, exactly?"

"Whatever it is, we still have to end Akuma," Materia says. "Whether he's brainwashed or has chosen to serve under her, we need to kill him. He's a demon; a corrupt Caeleste."

Akuma reverts to his normal form and launches toward Vegeta at full speed, swinging at him. Vegeta would be dodging each of his blows with ease. "What's wrong, Akuma? You've lost your focus. I thought you were better than this."

He knees Akuma on the chin and sends him flying back, crashing into a rock. "Why can't I absorb his energy?! What's going on here?!"

"I've developed a technique to prevent something like you from taking my energy," Vegeta replies. "It's kind of complicated, but I've basically locked it to my own body. I don't lose energy from being in transformations because of that."

Akuma roars and raises his hands, creating an astronomically large energy ball. "I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THE VOID! I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!"

Suddenly, he'd freeze and the Ki blast would disintegrate. Everybody looks toward Ryina in shock, who would have one finger raised. "I don't think so. I'll make your suffering for disobeying me even greater than before. Your brother Pymas will no longer be guaranteed safety for your work."

Goku gasps. "He... No way..."

"Brother Pymas?!" Caelicola would be shocked. "I thought he died a long time ago..."

"Who's Pymas, anyway?" Gohan asks them.

"Pymas and Akuma were once very close," Materia explains. "However, Pymas disappeared one day and Akuma changed. He always changed the topic when asked. Then he began to work under Mother. He became an empty shell of himself."

Ryina smiles and begins to walk toward Akuma. "Ah, yes. I took the one you call 'Pymas' and threatened to destroy him if Akuma didn't work for me. He was forbidden to tell anybody about his problem. My little servant did all of this just in hopes of one day releasing Pymas. I never intended to do that."

Caelicola clenches his fists and grunts, his energy spiking up to huge levels. "All of this... Everything that he has done to us... was because of him trying to save Pymas?! You... scum!"

Ryina grabs Akuma and slams him on the ground, causing a shock wave that sends everybody flying. "You have failed me for the last time, Akuma. You and your brother will die."

She raises her hand and the Void bends around it, forming into a blast. "Any last words?"

"P... Please don't, Mother," Akuma says weakly. "I... I can still be of use..."

Gohan nods toward Goku, then takes a step forward. His hair flickers and he charges up, entering Stage one of the Void form. He would launch toward Ryina and Akuma in an instant, nobody except for Ryina able to see him.

He reaches out to grab Akuma but Ryina raises her hand and chops him on the back, sending him crashing into the ground. The resulting explosion would shake the Void, sending everybody tumbling away from her.

Gohan coughs up blood and would be a fair distance away, holding an unconscious Akuma. "Damn it..."

"Impressive you survived my weakest attack," Ryina says. "Why do you want to save somebody who has destroyed your reality? He is the reason that you have lost many dearest to you."

"He might have, but you're the reason he's like this," Gohan replies. "Nobody deserves to be put with the likes of you!"

Ryina's smile fades and she begins to walk toward Gohan. "Is that so... A lot of big boy words coming from a weakling. What could you possibly do to the goddess of the Void?"

Gohan clenches his fists and yells, powering up once again. The red lines on his body turn purple and pulsate faster. "Stage... TWO!"

Then he raises his arm, revealing an ancient marking on his body with three lines going through it. He places a finger over it and swipes it, the first line shattering. His energy rises even more and the ground shatters under him.

"How interesting," Ryina observes. "It seems that Arhenahin has developed a technique that allows you to break your limits in different ways. I'm guessing that removing all three of the lines comes with a great cost."

Back then in Piccolo's dimension, Caelicola was standing in front of Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan, looking down at them in his full size. "I have implanted the ancient markings on you three. Each line represents your spiritual limiters."

He raised his arm and showed the same markings. "Removing the first limiter will give you a great boost in power." He swiped his finger over it and it had begun to glow brightly, the area around them shaking.

"The second limiter will boost you even more and allow your body to attract the energy of the Void," he explained. "It will be straining on your body, so you cannot use it for too long."

"What happens when you remove the third limiter?" Goku asks.

Caelicola's face darkens and he looks at the limiter, then back at them. "Well..."

Gohan gets into his fighting stance, a huge aura around him. He launches forward so fast, that time begins to reverse around him, then it goes back to normal, speeding up. He swings a punch and Ryina blocks it with the back of her hand.

The Void cracks and shatters around them, a big section of the battlefield being annihilated. Gohan yells and presses with full force.

Ryina stares at him with an expressionless face, before her eyes pulse, and Gohan is sent flying back. His velocity would be so great that the entire sidelines of the army would be destroyed.

Everybody would stop. Even the Caeleste would be sweating.

"What were we thinking?" Solis mutters to herself. "We cannot defeat her... She took a punch of that power without breaking a sweat..."

Gohan would have been knocked unconscious and Goku flies over, kneeling to check upon him. "Tch... He's out cold. All of his bones are broken."

Goku then remembers an individual who can help and smiles. He places a hand on the ground and closes his eyes, a glow beginning to emit from him. "I should have done this earlier. We need somebody to assist and heal us."

A familiar figure is summoned from being trapped in the Void. She looks up and would be a Grand Priestess from Multiverse #1293817389.

Adia gasps and looks around in confusion. "I-I'm back... I'm back! Wait... Where-... Son Goku?!"

She turns toward Goku. "How did you bring me back?!"

"Good to see you back, Adia," Goku says. "We need you to be a healer on the battlefield."

Adia looks at her hands. "I'm far too weak to be a part of this place, though. Wait..." She looks toward the Caeleste and the army. "Why are there multiple... Huh?"

Goku places a hand on her shoulder and suddenly she feels a massive spike in power, the ground cracking under her. "Huh? What's going on?"

"I've unleashed your hidden spiritual limits," Goku explains. "I've made you as powerful as you can possibly be, plus I gave you some of my energy. We have a lot of casualties."

Adia would look toward the injured then would immediately understand. "On it."

She launches toward them to go and heal them. Vegeta walks toward Ryina, getting into his fighting stance. "I'm not going to be as careless as Gohan. Take this!"

He raises his hand and slams Ryina into the battlefield with full force, causing part of it to arch upward and shatter. The wind would force everybody to shield their eyes. A moment later, Ryina gets up, brushing the dust off of her. "Amusing. What else can you offer me, Saiyan boy?"

"It's Saiyan PRINCE!" Vegeta yells, getting irritated. He enters Omni Evolution and vanishes in front of her, swinging a punch. It would phase through her. "What are you waiting for, prince? Show me your full power."

Vegeta leaps back and clenches his fists. He roars, a pillar of light shooting out of him. He enters stage two of the Void form. The red lines on his body spread even more and turn purple, pulsating faster. "It's time to destroy you and end this war!"

He swipes the first line on his arm, then the second. He yells, the veins on his body bulging. He breaks his limits even further, the aura around him becoming bigger and bigger.

He slams his foot on the battlefield, splitting it in half, and launches toward Ryina. "HRRRAAAH!" He swings a punch and Ryina blocks it, skidding back. "That's a very powerful attack, I must admit."

"He moved Mother," Caelicola says, his eyes widening. "Could he win...?"

Vegeta rapidly barrages Ryina, the two clashing rapidly. It would be clear that Ryina is hardly trying. "Hm... Not bad. You're the first being since Unmei to make me fight back."

She brings back her fist and it begins to glow with energy. "Let's see how you handle a punch at 0.01 percent of my power. She swings it and the Void begins to collapse around her."

"VEGETA! WATCH OUT!" Goku yells.

Vegeta's eyes widen. "Armis!" The durability on his body is multiplied by hundreds of times as the punch slams into him, creating another huge shock wave. Vegeta falls to his knees, coughing up blood. "Gck..."

He raises his arm and is about to swipe over the third line, but Goku would yell at him. "Stop! It's not worth it, Vegeta! You know what that does!"

Vegeta grumbles. "Fine... I'll use another technique to get stronger. TERMINUS! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

He breaks his limits once again, the strain on his body becoming unreal. "GRHH... HAAAAA!"

"That fool!" Solis says. "I told him not to use that limit breaker technique!"

Vegeta brings back his fist and slams it into Ryina. "ALMIGHTY... SMITE!"

Ryina twitches and is launched back so far that she ends up on the other side of the battlefield and past it, crashing through an old, destroyed reality. Then she explodes, a bright light consuming part of the void.

"Unbelievable," Materia says, walking forward. "He sent Ryina flying... We can beat her!"

Ryina vanishes in front of Vegeta, this time looking a little irritated. "I'm sure you're pleased with yourself, prince." In an instant, she knees him in the gut and sends him flying. "GAHHHH!"

Vegeta crashes into a rock and immediately gets back up, panting. "How is this bitch still standing? That was one of my most powerful attacks..."

"Give up and I'll erase you rather than slice you in half," Ryina says, walking toward him. "Well, even if you don't give up, I can still do that."

Vegeta begins to walk toward her, his fist raised. He powers up once again, the ground shattering under him. "This isn't over yet." He raises his other hand and Ryina is suddenly frozen in place. "What?"

He leaps back and spreads his arms, lightning crackling in the Void above them, striking parts of the battlefield. "It's time to use an older technique of mine to take you down."

He presses his palms together, multicolored rays of energy emitting from them. "FINAL... FLASH!"

He launches a massive beam that slams into Ryina and sends her flying up toward the Void.

"KA... ME... HA... ME... HAAA!" Goku yells, launching a huge blue blast to combine with Vegeta's.

"MASENKO!" Gohan yells, launching his blast as well.

Caelicola, Materia, and Solis would launch their own blasts as well, along with everybody else on the battlefield. The beam turns into a massive swirling beam that explodes, the wind blowing everybody back.

When the light fades, Ryina would fall toward the ground and land on her feet, cracking the ground. "I must say... This fight has been a pleasant surprise."

Vegeta's eyes widen, sweat going down the side of his face. "Impossible! How can she still be alive?!"

She raises her hand and launches a beam that has literal infinite speed so that nobody can react to it. It pierces Materia's chest and he explodes, disintegrating into particles.

"NO!" Caelicola and Solis yell, watching hopelessly as Ryina then aims a beam toward Gohan. "You are next. I am going to enjoy this."

Suddenly, Goku would launch toward her at the sidelines at full power. "Celeritas!" He goes even faster and kicks her arm, causing the blast to miss. "No, you don't!"

Ryina glances toward him and chops him on the shoulder, paralyzing him. "Ughh... What the?!"

"You came underprepared," she says, raising a blast toward him. "It was a bad idea for you to attack me. Die. DIVINE-"

Suddenly, she is kicked at the side and her eyes widen. "Guh!" She is sent flying, crashing across the battlefield.

Goku looks up to see Unmei in the Void form. However, it would not be the normal version. The purple lines on her body turn bright blue and pulsate super quickly, logic redefining itself around her. "It seems that you needed my help. This is stage three."
