Nathan: Four days have passed by and it was almost time to take the trip to Yahoo.
Outside the tower window, Pascal was doing his morning stretches when a grappling hook landed on the window ledge.
The hook was tied to a long rope, which the Stooges were planning to climb up the tower and coax Rapunzel out of there.
"If Blondie can't come down," Moe said to us. "We'll just bring her down ourselves."
"But who's gonna get up there first?" I asked.
"Whoever does better hurry up." said Krishna. "'Cause we're about to leave soon."
"Now, don't worry yourselves, folks." assured Moe. "We'll be back down before you can say..."
"WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP!"
Moe and Larry looked up to see that Curly got a head start.
"Hey, no fair!" cried Larry as he and Moe climbed up the rope.
"If anyone's gonna make it to the top," Moe said to Curly, whom he climbed past. "It's me!"
"No, me!" said Larry as he climbed past Curly, who fumed. "Hmm!"
"Oh, I hope they make it up alright." said Serene, whom Flynn and I are carpooling with to Yahoo, worried that one of the Stooges might fall.
"Come on, Curly! You can take them!" I called out.
"GO, MOE! GOOOOOOOOO!" Flynn called out.
"Lee, Lee, he's noor man," chanted the Minions. "If le can't batooay pik, segfax pudum."
Once he made it to the top of the tower, Moe laughed triumphantly.
But as he pushed open the window, he started to lose his grip, mainly because Larry caught a hold of his feet.
"Nyahh-ahhh! AAAAAHHHHHH!" screamed Moe.
So did Larry as they plummeted from the tower to the ground.
"Well, guess that all comes from having too many steaks* for breakfast, huh, boys?" asked Flynn.
"Ah, what do you know?" Moe said as he and Larry helped themselves up.
"Look!" said Larry. "Curly's still dangling!"
We all looked up to see Curly still hanging onto the rope.
"Come on, Curly! You can make it!" I called out. "You're just a quarter of a way there!"
"Hang in there, big guy!" Flynn called out.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Curly called back, then grunted while trying to climb up the tower.
But upon doing so, there was a SNAP!
The rope had broken loose from the grappling hook.
"Ah-ha-ha! Whooooaaaa!" We heard him scream.
Flynn pulled me away in time just before Curly landed on Moe and Larry.
"Oh." he exclaimed upon seeing the loose rope. "It all comes from not having rope strong enough."
As he spoke, Chef Adam cleared his throat. "If you gentlemen are done with your climbing exercises, we should get going."
"Already?" I asked. "But what about Rapunzel?"
"If we keep on waiting, we'll be late." said Chef Adam. "I'm sorry, Nathan, but there's nothing we can do for her now."
"But..." I started to protest, only to stop myself short and let out a sigh, realizing that Chef Adam was right.
Flynn gave me a comforting pat on the back while Serene said. "At least we tried."
Just then, the grappling hook hit Curly on the head.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh, look!"
We all looked up...and saw Rapunzel staring down at us from atop her tower.
"You coming, Blondie?" Flynn called out.
Rapunzel: Look at the world
So close, and I'm halfway to it!
Look at it all
So big, do I even dare?
Look at me
There at last!
I just have to do it
Should I?
No!
Here I go
As I looked back at Pascal, who tied a lock of hair around him, I heard Flynn call out. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, so pretty and so fair. Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your ha..."
Before he continue, though, I did let down my hair.
"Oh, everybody take out your phones!" Krishna said to the chefs. "We gotta capture this moment."
Everyone got their phones out and recorded me sliding down my hair. Well, everyone except for Nathan, for his phone doesn't have the same features as the others.
When I saw that I was getting close to the ground, I stopped, stared at my friends, then at the grass, where I cautiously placed my feet down.
The Minions cheered while Curly gave out a...
"WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP!"
Just smell the grass! The dirt!
Just like I dreamed they'd be!
"All right, let's hit the road." said Chef Adam.
During the ride to Yahoo, my friends cant' help but hear me singing outside Moe, Larry and Curly's ice cream truck.
Just feel that summer breeze
The way it's calling me
For like the first time ever, I'm completely free!
I could go running
And racing
And dancing
And chasing
And leaping
And bounding
Hair flying
Heart pounding
And splashing
And reeling
And finally feeling
Now's when my life begins!
And it has, especially with my friends by my side as we toured through Yahoo.
Author's Note:
*It was true. We did have steak for breakfast before going to Yahoo. Normally, when it comes to eating steak, we never had it for breakfast, for it's often meant to served for dinner or, in my case, lunch.
