Author's Note #1:
When you get to when Rapunzel comes face to face with Lady Caine and her army led by Gothel, play "Horse with No Rider" composed by Alan Menken, who is the co-composer of "Nathan Rosenberg: JobTrainee," alongside Christopher Lennertz.
Nathan: After going through the Internet for a few minutes in the computer room, I headed outside, where Rapunzel was keeping a lookout.
"They're still out there?" I asked.
Rapunzel nodded slowly.
"They should've found Eugene and brought him back by now." I said.
"I know." replied Rapunzel. "I'm starting to worry about them too."
As much as I wanted to stay and look out for Pascal, Max and the Minions to come back with Eugene, I knew I had to catch the bus to the Caltrain station.
Rapunzel sadly watched as I crossed the street to the bus stop.
As I stared at the parking lot, where Eugene and I came across Caine and her army of thugs earlier, a pang of sadness and worry came through me, for I was starting to miss Eugene as much as Rapunzel did.
Pretty soon, my bus arrived at the stop.
While getting on, I stared at the parking lot one last time as the bus drove away.
Rapunzel: By nightfall, it had already started raining when Max returned.
As he plopped down by the bushes next to the bus stop, he noticed a hand lying on the ground.
Meanwhile, I was heading back inside JobTrain when I heard his whinny.
"Max?"
Before I could go back outside, a familiar voice rang out. "Well, I thought you'd never call it a night."
I turned back seeing that behind the front desk were Lady Caine and her group of ruffians. Ham was with them too.
And standing in front of them was...
"Mother?"
"You were expecting, maybe, Cruella De Vil?" joked Otter, pointing at her gray hair.
The other ruffians, minus Ham, laughed along with him while Mother only frowned.
"You're the ones who attacked Eugene and Nathan earlier." I realized.
"Oh, please." sneered Caine as she walked up to me. "That Rosenberg kid won't make it through this week alive."
Already fearing the worst, I asked. "What did you do with Eugene?"
"That...criminal...is no longer your concern." said Mother, who snapped her fingers.
Before I could do anything, one of the ruffians covered my mouth with a cloth as Ham watched in horror.
At the same time, the Stooges returned to JobTrain
They've been out looking for Eugene too, but with no success.
"What a waste of a..." Moe began, only to be cut off by Larry, who said. "Hey, look!"
From across the street, they could see someone riding off with Max into the rainy night.
"Has Eugene been hiding there this whole time?" asked Curly.
Suddenly, the Stooges saw Ham running outside of JobTrain in a hurry.
Fearing something's wrong, the Stooges got out of their ice cream truck, but stopped themselves when they heard Mother say. "Make sure she stays up in her tower. I have some meat to grind."
The Stooges peeked through the window, where they saw me chained and gagged* as Mother added. "And as for your little program, Rapunzel, your days of cooking with your little friends are over."
Realizing she was getting rid of the Culinary Arts Program, I tried to let out a scream, but I couldn't because of the cloth in my mouth.
As he, Larry and Curly watched Mother walk outside JobTrain and the ruffians dragging me away, Moe said. "We gotta warn..."
Before he could say whom to warn, the Stooges found themselves grabbed from behind and hurled into their truck...by the Stabbingtons.
"Nobody's warning anybody." sneered Sideburns, who closed the back door and locked them inside with the truck keys they took.
Meanwhile, in his lair back at Downtown Menlo Park, Meowrice walked up to the Minions, who were locked in a cage, as his henchcats watched.
"It pains me to have you locked up, boys." he said. "But I can't risk having you make a scene when we produce one delectable dish after another out of these little creatures."
Upon seeing Pascal placed on a Renaissance Wrap, Bob gasped. "NO!"
"Never has a cat tasted a chameleon before." Meowrice chuckled evilly. "Until toda..."
Just then, there was a knock at the door.
"Oh, who could that be at this of night?" asked Meowrice, who opened the door, revealing...Sylvester.
"I should've guessed."
Sylvester chuckled nervously. "Uh, sorry to bother you, Mr. Meowrice, but I can't help but hear..."
Before he could continue, however, Meowrice shoved a can of sardines at him, saying. "Scram, kitty. You're bothering me."
Once the door had been shut closed on him, Sylvester squeezed the can...which let out a squeak!
"You may consider yourself lucky for tonight, little one." Meowrice said to Pascal, whom he placed in a cage. "But just wait and see what I have planned for tomorrow's menu.
"And if I were you, Armand," he said to one of his Shadow Cats, whom he dragged away by the tail with his own. "I'd hold back on my midnight snacking."
As he watched the cats walk away, Pascal knew he had to break himself, his fellow chameleons and the Minions out of there.
Author's Note #2:
*Although I still don't favor the climactic scene in "Tangled," where it shows Rapunzel all chained and gagged, I knew I had to, at least, add that moment into the story...for many reasons.
