A/N: I don't own Star Trek Enterprise or the characters except for some of the Tuckers and the admittedly pretty badass

Admiral Hazelwood. And like always shoot me up a message if you have any suggestions good or bad because honestly you can't hurt my feelings. But before I go you should totally check out my other stories I have posted and tell me how you feel

about them to because I do like the input and I really think they're entertaining for some not all. Finally if you have any other TV

shows or movies that you want me to write about shoot me a message and I will totally think about it, and if you don't think I've

seen it then you will be thoroughly surprised to know that I probably have ( I really do need to get a life) and I form some sort of ship

for everything I watch so go ahead. I hope you enjoy and have a great night, day, morning wherever you are. tschüss!

" What? Admiral Black? Look Admiral I know that he's somewhat of a .. a.." Malcolm fell silent when he realized where Courtney was getting at.

" Yeah and he went everywhere we went. So I want everyone to double check the mess hall, the shuttle bay. You know everywhere." Malcolm nodded and left right away. T'Pol, who was silent the entire time, stayed behind.

" Hey his Mom and Pop understand why you thought they did it. Hell we all thought they did it. His siblings are bastards and I am so sorry that you have to deal with that. Now can we get to work? I have been wanting to take Black down since the moment I met him." T'Pol raised an eyebrow.

" Where are you going now?" Courtney started to smile at the question.

" I'm going to do a couple more chores before retiring to bed. Gotta be well rested if I'm going to pick up the Admiral in the morning and bring him to the interrogation room and do my magic." Courtney knew that look and her eyes went big.

" Oh no no no. You know that I have rules against that. You can not help you are way too close. I mean I'm kinda scared of Mama T'Pol."

" That is why it is logical that I interrogate him. I can control myself on Earth Admiral, I will not do anything you wouldn't do and he will be scared of what you call Mama T'Pol." The scary look in her eyes and the way her head twitches to the side made the Admiral change her mind quickly.

" Alright alright. You can do the interview. But I'm watching in the room and if I think you cross the line once then you're pulled." T'Pol nodded and walked out of the room. When she arrived back to the hall alone Joe decided that he was going to revert back to jackass ways.

" So what innocent person are you going to harass next?" It was Joe's way of venting out his pain, she knew. But the effect that the gas has on her is eroding her control more and more by the minute. She can feel the ropes getting cut, and she doesn't know how much more of Joe's attitude she can take.

" This is an ongoing investigation. I can not inform you of any progress we are making." T'Pol did her best to keep the emotion out of her voice but to make sure he heard the crisp edge in her tone.

" Trip I really don't know how you deal with this emotionless bitch as your XO. Hell you're about to marry her and she's going." Joe was cut off by both Trip and Jon tackling him. Trip grabbed him by the collar while Jon started to punch him. Trip then pushed Jon out of the way and Jon pushed back. Soon Joe was forgotten and John and Trip started to punch each other. T'Pol and Soval intervened by pulling the two off of each other and T'Pol decided that she had enough. Though the words were all hers it was the gas that made them sound as emotional and harsh as it did.

" What is the matter with you two? I thought that you claimed each other as best friends but the past year you have been growing more distant and the last two weeks near hostile. I am done. So I am going to call Doctor Phlox and you are going to work out whatever issues you may have towards each other." T'Pol may not be Captain yet though the two of them both know better than to argue with an angry T'Pol.

" Commander T'Pol to Doctor Phlox." T'Pol was barely keeping it together and being as strong as a telepath as she is, the emotions radiating from the tired, emotional humans is just making it worse. T'Pol tries to use some of the breathing techniques that are taught to every Vulcan at a young age but they are not doing much either. She has always envied her father's control but how he has stopped from going insane is beyond her.

" Doctor Phlox here commander. Are you okay." The question is personal and that makes T'Pol all the more uncomfortable. Today has been long and stressful but that question, that uncomfortable question made her feel better and more wanted. More needed.

" I am a physically fine doctor though I do have a problem with Captain Archer and Commander Tucker. They decided to let their own personal frustrations with each other get the better of them and decided to try and solve it physically." The emotion in her voice is filled with disappointment and Trip finally realizes that he messed up big time.

" I'm on my way Commander." Then there is Phlox's voice that cuts Archer deep. It was the same voice he used when the Vulcan pretended to be checking Archer for radiation poisoning right before the Xindi mission. It was a mix between anger and disappointment. Jack Tucker was helping his twin brother off the ground muttering something between the lines of ' aliens helping one another taking over the flagship.' Once again T'Pol chose to ignore the Xenophobic comments aginst her and lets Trip wrap her arms around her.

" I am so sorry T'Pol, we should have done better not to let our own personal problems affect the mission." When Phlox and Courtney show up one with a face full of disappointment and anger the other was a complete blank face that could only be pulled off by a Vulcan or a seasoned spy.

" Alright I think that the non Vulcan civilians call it a night and go back to their rooms." The Tuckers agreed and went back to their respective rooms and when they did Courtney's blank face was turned to Archer who was still standing in silence with a hung head.

" I think that it would work out best for everyone involved if Phlox pulled you both from duty for medical reasons than me for disciplinary reasons. Though may I just say this I don't know what the problem is but Captain you are about to be promoted to Rear Admiral, that is an honor that should not be taken lightly. Like I said I am going to let this little ' conflict' slip by this time but if you slip again I won't." Archer nodded his agreement to the Admiral with an added " Yes Ma'am" Before he was dismissed to his quarters. Courtney then turned her attention to Commander Tucker who now had his arms at his side and was facing forward at attention. Courtney gave him a soft smile that caught him off guard.

" Commander, I know you are under a lot of stress but you can't lose focus on what your priorities are. You have a daughter now who may I just say is adorably sleeping in Sickbay as we speak. And you are getting married. Now that is a big step but you have to make that step with all of you not just part. Part of getting married and becoming a father is growing up and a part of growing up is not getting into fights especially with your commanding officer." Trip nodded and she could tell that he was struggling to keep his head up.

" Today has been a long day for all of us and we are all tired. So Phlox did confine you to quarters but first I want you and T'Pol to go to Sickbay to pick up your daughter and be a family." Trip once again nodded and gave a weak " Yes Ma'am before they got going. Courtney was truly relieved that even though she has Vulcan blood baby Lizzy isn't affected by the gas. Now it was just her and the Ambassador in the corridor.

" You handled that situation quite well Admiral but your attempt was quite Human." Courtney knew by now not to take that as an insult but she really does have horrible patience.

" Well that may be because I don't know I'm Human. But then again that is just a guess." Soval was not amused at her use of sarcasm and had to fight to keep his blank face on.

" Admiral, I really must go before the effects of the gas become

. Will I see you and your family at the promotion ceremony?" Though he does become quite annoyed with the Admiral, her husband General Flynn Kirchhoff of Earth Defense Force is one of the most logical Humans he has ever met and they always do have interesting conversations.

" You betcha. Live long and prosper Ambassador." She said holding up her Vulcan salute with practiced ease.

" Peace and long life Admiral." Soval returned before taking his leave. Courtney looked around the corridor and when she found that she was alone she plopped herself on the floor and sighed. Today had been a long day and between the gas and the complicated family problems the Tucker's faced she was physically and mentally exhausted. The Tucker's truly are the most confusing family she has ever met and that's saying something her in-laws are German. Courtney laughed to herself at the thought and banged her head lightly against the wall. And thought to herself again when she pictured Baby Lizzy as a teenager. Having a couple herself she knows that Tucker and T'Pol are going to have a run for their money. Literally. She sat there for a few more minutes before getting up to hit the rack. She really did have a long day tomorrow, possible even longer than this one. Courtney gives one last soft sigh before admitting defeat. Tomorrow will definitely be longer.
