I hope you all enjoyed the two parter for Ginny's 27th birthday and what happened to the characters.

In this chapter, Lily turns a year old. Let's see how that goes and if any mischievous or drama related things happen during it.

I bet none of you were expecting that cliffhanger with Tonks becoming a servant of Mzana, Milikan's mom, at all. Expect to see more of her in the coming chapters, I hope you like that twist on things that Ginny will now know someone in this snake clan.

It may be exhausting, but my new job is going really well. I get complimented quite a bit, and it feels great. FREE FOOD too. Haha.

Another cliffhanger ending for this chapter that I can't wait to see what you guys think.

Again, this chapter is mostly another Harry and Ginny chapter. Yay :D

Enjoy

Ginny Weasley: Double Life

Chapter 11- Lily's First Birthday

Slight sexual content in this chapter.

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

"Have I mentioned how happy I am that you took the rest of the month off, sweetheart?" Ginny sighed happily, snuggling closer to her husband in bed. This was one of her birthday presents, Harry coming home saying he had taken the rest of the month off and a few days into September.

Harry laughed, wrapping an arm around her. "Why yes Gin. Countless times, as I recall." Harry teased her lightheartedly, prompting Ginny to slap his arm. "Ow."

Ginny smirked at him before rolling her eyes and laughing. "You prat," she said teasingly. Her smile was the legendary Ginny Weasley smiled that he loved so much, and it made him bring her closer to him to feel her warmth from her body against his.

Loving the feel of his body against hers, Ginny snuggled in closer to her beloved husband, the early morning sunlight bathing a part of their room in light. Fortunately, the sunlight was a short distance away from their bed, much to Ginny's relief; with the chaos of the day coming up, the redhead wanted to have some more shut-eye.

"I love you, Ginny Molly Potter." Ginny giggled while closing her eyes, "I love you even more, Harry James Potter."

The two Potter parents soon went back to sleep hoping no little one would awaken them, but it was all for naught when just seven minutes later the cries of the birthday girl, Lily Luna Potter, made their way across the house. As soon as the noises reached their room, Ginny was immediately on her feet and hurrying away from her bedroom to care for her now one-year-old daughter.

Groaning due to a sore shoulder James caused him three days ago, Harry slowly sat up in bed and walked to the shower, hoping that the warm water could help with the small ache he felt in his arm.

Downstairs sitting on the couch with the birthday girl, Ginny expected her husband to come down to help make breakfast since she was busy breastfeeding Lily (they were making the transition to bottle formula, but Ginny still appreciated the closeness of this kind of feeding).

"Pst. Pst. Ginny… Can I come in for a quick sec?" Came a hushed whisper from the window. Ginny sighed anxiously at the idea of having her kids, or worse her husband, catch her Mistress right now, but couldn't ignore the brief pleasure she felt at the idea of seeing the snake, particularly given her position as Lily's honorary aunt.

With Lily attached to her breast, Ginny quickly maneuvered over to the window, which luckily had a seat next to it for when someone wished to have some fresh air. Glancing back at the stairs quite nervously, Ginny stared at the area for a few seconds, and when no one came, she turned back to the snake. "So, what's up, Mistress?" She asked in a whisper.

Smiling at her honorary niece and giving the little girl a small happy birthday kiss on the cheek, the snake then paused for a brief moment when hearing a sound come from upstairs. Ginny didn't seem at all worried as it only was the sound of the shower turning on, assuming it must be Harry trying to get rid of the ache in his shoulder.

"Just wanted to let you know that I won't be here until at least September 5th. I'm going to be heading home to my clan while Harry is off. I'm assuming he is off until the 5th? I remember seeing his calendar on the refrigerator when you snuck me in the other day to give me a slice of… p… pizza? Right?"

Ginny giggled remembering that moment and nodded. "Yes, then on the 8th he and the boys have been invited on a two-week-long camping trip with my brothers, sisters-in-law and their kids." At the snake's questioning glance at her, Ginny quickly explained how she couldn't go due to needing to go into work on the tenth and needing to take care of Lily afterwards. Milikan nodded in understanding and quickly backed away from the window on instinct when the sound of the shower turned off.

The two quickly shared a goodbye kiss and an 'I love you' before Ginny moved back over to the couch and turned on the television to the news station. Lily still sucked away the milk from her mother's nipple as Harry came downstairs five minutes later.

Seeing the two girls on the couch brought a huge smile to his face, bent down and shared a kiss with his adoring life while he stroked Lily's head. "Hey, there are my two favorite girls."

Ginny beamed at him and gestured for him to sit beside her to cuddle up, which he did, wrapping an arm around her shoulder watching their daughter breastfeed.

Harry smiled fondly at his daughter, though he couldn't help but give a chuckle. Ginny raised her eyebrow at him in confusion. "I wonder how difficult it will be for us to have her use a bottle." He said after a few moments, realization dawning on Ginny's face as she started to lightly laugh at the thought, since James and Albus had a hard time making that transition themselves.

Ginny groaned, "Those moments were torture. It felt like I was back at ST. Mungo's trying to push them out all over again, the stress was unbelievable." Said the mother of three, hanging her head back over the edge of the couch.

Harry stroked her hair and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Hey, look on the bright side, we got what I always wanted…"

"A family… A proper family." Ginny cut him off with a smile, knowing full well that he wanted to start a family badly with her when they first realized during her fifth, his sixth year, that they wanted to be with no one else.

Harry nodded smiling. "If it wasn't for you, and the rest of our family, I don't know where I'd be right now."

Ginny caressed his cheek lovingly, snuggling closer into his side, laying her head down on his shoulder as she readjusted Lily in order to burp her.

"You'd probably be out somewhere, hiding from everyone and brooding over everything that had happened at the end of the war without me being there to comfort you." Turning to look him in the eyes, a smile grew on her face as she shifted her gaze down to look at Lily as she cuddled the girl against her. "I'm so happy we never had to deal with that possible nightmare."

Harry mumbled his agreement, settling down beside his wife to watch some television as Ginny stroked their daughter's back, smiling brightly at the family feeling they were having at the moment before their sons ruined the peace any moment now.

Ten minutes later the redhead finally realized that their sons hadn't come to disrupt the calm feeling of the trio's current family time, and sighed, a dreamy smile coming onto her face, so dreamy in fact that it only ever was seen on her face when her Mistress was in her presence. 'They must still be asleep. Thank Merlin for that…'

Ginny moaned as Harry wrapped an arm around her. "I love you so much… I'm so happy we have this family…"

Harry compassionately kissed her very slowly to preserve the moment and pulled away all too soon for her, a kind grin on his face. "You've given me the greatest life I could have ever asked for after the war."

Giving him a long and slow kiss, Ginny smiled against his lips as she wrapped her free arm around him, hugging him to her protectively like she always has done ever since they have been together.

"I can't believe I almost lost Sirius earlier this month…' Harry shook with unshed tears that wouldn't fall thanks to not losing him.

Ginny, who had been practically inseparable from him since they got together a few hours after the raid, watched him in concern until she saw his eyes holding back tears, and instinctively reached out to hug him protectively not before locking the door, so Draco wouldn't come to ruin their moment.

Putting Lily down in her crib next to the couch, so she could play with her toys, Ginny quickly reconnected her lips with Harry as her arms squeezed him like the time she remembered from her fifth year when she saw someone eyeing her longingly. When Harry had started to get particularly self-conscious, Ginny had been forced to pin him to the nearest wall just to make sure he'd shut up about any fears of her leaving him, and to show off how much she really liked him. Deep down she knew that she loved him, just didn't want to utter the words yet since Harry needed to learn about the feeling.

"You'll leave me… Won't you? When a more good-looking and romantic man comes out of nowhere… Won't…" Harry gasped as he was pushed up against the wall behind him by his glaring girlfriend who looked to be giving him an 'are you serious' expression right before that look softened and kissed him for all he was worth.

"There won't be. The only good-looking and romantic man I see in this school is pinned up against this wall." A predatory look crossed the features of the redheads face, he knew that look, it was the look that if she wanted something then that is what Ginny gets. The feelings he was getting warmed him, knowing that she was being protective of him by the way her arms squeezed him because she heard many girls gasping at their little display.

The next moment Ginny remembered caused her to pin Harry to the couch, they weren't going to take it any further, but Ginny liked this position.

"Take care of her, Harry… Fred would have wanted that as much as I do." George spoke softly after catching Harry and Ginny coming in from a late night walk a few days after the end of the Battle of Hogwarts.

Ginny smiled softly as her brother ascended the stairs to his bedroom and turned to Harry, arms crossed over her chest smiling softly, pointing to the couch in the living room, and he complied. That snog was the best in their dating life as Ginny let out all of her feelings of protectiveness towards him. The thought of almost losing him during the final hour of the battle made her realize that she was going to be overly protective of her Harry and nothing would stop her from showing him a great life being with her. At the same time, Harry also felt pretty protective of her.

When Ginny pulled away, she cupped his cheeks in the palms of her hands and smiled brightly as they stared into the other's eyes, mesmerized by their beauty, and couldn't help but kiss again.

Their soul bond was growing and neither of them knew it. Their feelings of total pure love for one another felt so natural that neither of them realized that the bond was causing them to fall even deeper in love with each other. It's not like they would have a problem with that at all.

Harry reached under her shirt, running his hand across her smooth stomach, causing the redhead to moan his name quietly, and he soon took his hand out and rubbed her back.

"We got to get ready for the party at my parent's house…" Said Ginny, pouting at having to stop what they were doing.

Harry wagged his eyebrows at her, "How about tonight we continue what we started and go a bit further?"

Ginny closed her eyes half way, sending him a seductive little smirk, "Do you promise Potter? Because that sounds perfect…"

The only response she got was a nod and slap to her butt that caused her to yelp as Harry ran to the shower.

"Git." Ginny grinned, placing her breast back in her shirt and hugging her daughter to her. "How's my baby girl this morning?"

"Hehe…" Lily giggled once her wonderful, loving mother began to tickle her stomach.

"It's your first birthday… I can't believe it, you are growing up so fast, dear." A tear rolled down Ginny's cheek at the thought of her baby girl getting married and going off on her own, a thought that she knew would drive Harry up the wall being overprotective of her. Sure, she would to, but probably to a lesser extent than the love of her life.

"Whose birthday is…" James entered the room yawning, arms stretching over his head. "It…?"

Ginny tilted her head to the side with a smile as she patted the seat next to her and cuddled her son to her. "Your sister's…"

"Really mom? Lily's?" Asked the oldest Potter child in amazement. Ginny laughed and nodded.

"Wow…" James said in awe.

Harry soon came down with the now-awake Albus, after which it only took the family another hour or so until they were ready to leave for the Burrow.

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Lily Luna Potter's first birthday party had been going on for a good 45 minutes, with the birthday girl smiling and giggling at the gathered members of her large family. Ginny smiled down at her daughter in her arms, kissing her forehead.

"Happy birthday sweetheart." Ginny gushed happily, while also emotionally.

Lily reached out trying to touch her mother's cheek, "Mama… Mama…"

Smiling, a single tear rolled down her cheek at hearing the little cry of joy once again, leaning her cheek down for her beloved daughter to touch her cheek.

"She is pretty determined sis… Maybe a good new worker for the ministry one day." Said Percy off to the side, looking at Ginny with a teasing smile. The 'over the top follow the rules' Percy Weasley had lightened up the last ten years, allowing himself to be fun and comedic, something his brother George really enjoyed.

Ginny scoffed with an eye roll, causing him to laugh before settling his attention back onto his wife.

Neville Longbottom walked by winking at his best friend, "Great party, Ginny. You Potters and Weasleys never disappoint." Hannah, his wife, echoed that statement.

"Is that little Lily?" Hannah squealed, "I haven't seen her yet." The blond walked over and sat beside her friend to look at the one-year-old with a look of elation on her face at the sight.

Neville crouched down next to Ginny and couldn't help but make silly faces at Lily, prompting a joyful squeal and giggle from the little girl.

Hannah and Ginny stared at each other with a knowing look as they both knew Neville wanted children as much as his wife did, but they simply weren't ready yet, they are still young.

Ginny returned her attention to Neville, "How is teaching Herbology, Neville?" Ginny asked casually after not hearing about how his position was going for the last year.

Meanwhile, Harry was sitting with Ron talking about life and such when he felt the need to go to the restroom. So Harry excused himself, and just so his wife wouldn't ask where he was, he quickly interrupted her conversation with Neville just to tell her. When she acknowledged where he was going to be, he took off towards the house with Ginny watching his behind smirking. Hannah laughed as she saw where Ginny was looking.

Neville then realized that Ginny wasn't even with Harry to begin with and was sitting by herself. Ginny just shrugged it off and said Ron asked to speak to Harry alone, which the Longbottom's understood as Ron trying to get Harry away from Ginny for a minute or two to talk and to not see them snog.

When Harry entered the Burrow's kitchen, he smiled at how Molly had decorated for today. Underneath the birthday decor was still the kitchen he had regarded as the first proper home he'd been in when he first visited it back when he was twelve years old, particularly the moment when he met the future love of his life.

"Um, mommy, have you seen my jumper…?" Asked a little redheaded girl who had just bolted down the stairs in her bathrobe.

Molly smiled and confirmed, "Yes dear, it is upstairs hanging outside my room."

"Thanks. Good morning everyone…" Once her eyes landed on Harry sitting at the table, she smiled at him, he smiled back and that was when her eyes widened, she blushed a dark red and ran off up the stairs.

From what Harry could remember, he had started to feel something for her that day that was then suppressed when the Weasley's kept him busy and didn't resurface for a few years.

When the auror entered the living room to look at all the presents stashed in the corners, a smile tugged up on his lips at all the gifts for his little Lily, and was about to turn to go up the stairs to the bathroom when the floo burst to life all of a sudden.

Out stepped the man Harry never thought he would ever see again thanks to the man's preferred job. Charlie Weasley stepped out of the floo and wiped the soot off his pants, all the while hopping a bit before looking up and seeing Harry Potter staring at him shocked.

Charlie frowned, tuning out of the joyous noise outside and the decor spread throughout the house, and focused on the one man he despised for dating his sister.

Harry raised an eyebrow when seeing him stepping out of the floo, even becoming cautious when Charlie put his hand over the pants pocket that contained his wand. "Hello, Potter. Fancy meeting you here in my childhood home…" A glint caught the dragon handler's eye in the form of a wedding ring on Harry's finger. The look that crossed Charlie's face could've sent anyone to the ground in hysterics, the dragon handler looked like a kid on Christmas.

"You… You're married? Does that mean you left my sister for some other witch?" He raised his hand up for a high five, "I knew you two weren't meant to be. So, who did you marry, a reporter? Quidditch champion?" Harry suppressed a chuckle because that is exactly what Ginny is for the first two guesses, "A professor? Auror? Hitman? A muggle? Come on man, say something…" Charlie whined in exasperation to Harry's silence.

Harry lost it and fell to the floor holding his stomach in laughter, deciding to lead him on, "I did marry a Quidditch champion who, after retiring, did become a reporter." He smirked as Charlie's smile brightened, "Awesome. I bet the moment you found this woman, you left Ginny, right? She wasn't good enough for you…"

Harry's eye twitched a bit as he tried to not lash out and just tease him, "She is also a redhead. I have a thing for redheads, you see?" Charlie chuckled, "And she is just so amazing."

Charlie breathed out a sigh of relief as he knew, in his own way, that the relationship his sister had with the 'great Harry Potter' wasn't that amazing as they never showed any love. 'Unfortunately' in his view, that was only because he was only ever around when Harry and Ginny weren't feeling particularly in the mood for anything overly romantic.

Noises from the outside reached his ears now, which caused the long haired man to look around the room, seeing the party decor.

"Who's Lily?" Charlie asked suddenly, having not been home in years, he didn't know much about his nieces and nephews.

Harry had to suppress the urge to say it was his and Ginny's child as he walked over to the banner in the threshold of the room, "My third kid, Lily Luna Potter. She has her mother and I wrapped around her little finger."

'Phew… Can't be Ginny that he is hiding from me then because there is no way she would be a mother. She isn't cut out for it.' Mused the dragon handler, thinking Ginny couldn't fend for herself with a family, or a job. He had been away from home for so long since he started working that he hadn't truly seen how Ginny in particular had grown up, and their brief meetings in Egypt or at the Quidditch World Cup hadn't exactly given him time to form a clearer opinion of his sister.

When Harry asked him to leave since a party was going on, Charlie snapped out of his deep thoughts, frowning and pulling a wand on him, "I'm still not over you dating my sister in the past, Potter. I at least want to teach you a lesson to never mess with my sister." The 2nd oldest of the Weasley's growled as the spell he wanted to say was on the tip of his tongue.

But before he could say the curse, a female voice entered the house, "Harry? Sweetheart, what is taking you so long?"

Harry's smile turned to an evil smirk, "You're in for it now, buddy."

Charlie raised an eyebrow as the same woman asked, "Who are you talking to?" said the woman walking into view, causing Charlie's jaw to drop and gasp for air, "GINNY?" He focused back on Harry and snarled reeling to punch him, though his fist was caught by the target, "How DARE you MARRY my SISTER…" he was pushed away roughly by Ginny with her wand out.

"What the fuck, Charlie? What is your deal?" Ginny asked, teeth bared in anger, eyes blazing in fury staring at her cowering brother.

"M-my deal i-is that you m-married a man who will leave you the m-moment another woman comes a-along whom h-hates his fame… And you had a kid with him… You r-realize that will break both your hearts…"

The next thing he saw was Ginny's fist hitting him in the face, breaking his nose, collapsing on the ground holding his nose in pain, "Get over your self-imposed idea that Harry is that kind of person. We've been married for the last five years, so I think I know I can trust my husband, and you would know that if you got over your stupid ideas about what you think he's like."

Charlie didn't respond while Ginny continued as she crouched down to his level, "You could have been here for my wedding…"

"I thought George sent that as a prank…"

"The birth of my kids, James, Albus and Lily and my Quidditch games and all of those fun activities over the years, but no, you just sit in Romania thinking my relationships and my life needs to be guarded by you and our brothers. I'M NOT A DEFENSELESS DAMSEL IN DISTRESS, CHARLIE. GET THAT OUT OF YOUR DAMN HEAD."

"Now I'm going to go back outside to enjoy my daughter's first birthday, while informing our brothers that support my relationship, that you are here and nearly attacked Harry. Let's see if they go easy on you."

"Wait…" Charlie cried just as she reached the kitchen door to head back outside. Harry retreated up the stairs to use the restroom, finally leaving the two fired up siblings alone.

Ginny didn't turn around to face him. "What?" He heard her reply venomously.

"I-I'm sorry…" Charlie wheezed, feeling like he was losing his voice due to how scared he was of his sister right now.

Ginny turned to look at him with one eye glaring at him. "You should be, Charlie. My life, ever since I began to date Harry, has been nothing but bloody fantastic if you don't think about the war. And you coming in out of nowhere after the Battle of Hogwarts ended saying our relationship was doomed to fail because of x and y reasons hurt me deeply."

Charlie's eyes widened as Ginny said, "He means more to me than you'll ever know. Harry is the love of my life and I care so so so deeply about him as he does me." She could see him as he slowly got up and ventured to the floo and without another word he vanished into the green flames, hopefully to think about his past mistakes.

"I'm going to assume Charlie the prat was here?" Ginny breathed out to control her anger and saw George standing near her, looking very concerned for what made her so angry.

"Jackpot." Ginny sighed as George took her in a hug, "I feel like I'm beginning to despise our brother's existence. He has become so cruel to us… I'm not sure if I prefer Percy calling Harry a delusional liar or Charlie acting like Harry would one day leave me for some other chick?"

Footsteps from behind Ginny made her turn to see her husband walking over to them, accepting his reassuring hug.

"So," George said, after giving his only brother-in-law a few moments to whisper sweet nothing's to his sister, "how about we go back to enjoying the party and forget Charlie was even here to begin with?"

The Potter's smiled and nodded, following the man out back to the party, where Harry and Ginny couldn't be seen more than two feet away from each other as they celebrated their daughter's first birthday with their family and friends.

Harry wrapped an arm around his stunning wife, who was laughing and looking cheerful as ever, though he knew she was still fuming after Charlie's visit. "Are you alright, sweetie?"

Ginny's smile feel as she laid her head on his shoulder, shaking her head. "Not really. I hate when people refuse to see just how amazing you really are. It hurts me to know one of my own brothers thinks so low of you to one day leave me…"

Harry nodded his head, thinking that it was a horrible reason for Charlie to be this hateful towards him. Ginny tensed a little before saying what she wanted to say. "Can I tell you something, Harry…?"

With an affirming nod and grunt, Ginny grit her teeth in a nervous way as she looked off towards the Burrow. "Is it bad that when we first got together I was very insecure and thought you would leave me for another witch…?"

Harry laughed and shook his head no. "Believe me, babe, I thought the same thing every day for my entire sixth year. I was very scared that some boy who gave you a seductive look or did some kind of romantic gesture to catch your attention would take you from me." He explained to her with a soft tone.

"Well… Does Neville giving me flowers count?" Ginny asked innocently, in the background Neville was getting glared at by Hannah, though jokingly.

"I knew and trusted him not to betray our friendship… Besides, Neville only thinks of you as a friend." Harry smiled when Neville gave them a thumbs up. He had only ever thought of her romantically when he had taken her to the Yule Ball.

Hannah smirked at Harry and Ginny before whisking the professor off somewhere else, leaving Harry and Ginny alone.

Ginny smirked at Harry, cupping one cheek in her hand and brought them face to face. "You know, it's been a couple of hours since we've had a good snog." Her eyes bright and pleading.

Elsewhere, Hermione was trying to keep Ron's attention to what Seamus was saying, just so he wouldn't get upset over seeing his sister and best mate snogging and not celebrating Lily's birthday at that moment.

Seamus, Dean and a work friend of Hermione's were trying not to laugh, watching as she battled to keep her husband's attention on them.

Sunday, August 24th, 2008

A few days after his daughter's birthday, Harry got up early to head over to Hogwarts to speak with the Headmistress. "Harry? What are you doing here?" Said Neville in surprise when noticing his friend enter the Entrance Hall in Hogwarts.

"Hiya Neville. I wanted to speak to Professor McGonagall if that is alright…?" Harry asked uncertainly.

"Sure. Right this way." Said Neville, who happened to be the Deputy Headmaster in his position as the new head of Hufflepuff house.

Harry smiled being back in the castle where he felt like he had grown up and had to be pulled out of his thoughts many times by a smiling Neville because he purposefully led him by areas that were of significance to Harry's relationship with Ginny when they were dating.

Neville and Harry walked past the Gryffindor Common Room when Harry all but blurted about an upcoming student. "I can't believe Teddy begins his schooling here next year. Bloody hell, where has the time gone." He said fondly, nostalgic about how his godson was already 10 years old.

His once cowardly friend smiled at him, and soon they both reached the gargoyle guarding the staircase to the office where McGonagall resided.

"You may enter." The two men heard once outside the door and had knocked.

"Hello, Minerva." Harry greeted, taking a seat in front of her desk, smiling at her own look of delight at seeing him.

Setting aside her roll sheet of students this year, as well as her half finished tea, she turned her attention to him. "What can I do for you today, Mr. Potter?"

"Minerva, last night Ginny and I discussed your offer you gave me and Kingsley two years after the war, if you remember, about me helping with Defense Against the Dark Arts as like a second job when nothing noteworthy is happening out in the world that would require auror attention." Harry started as he took a sip of the tea Neville had returned with.

"I remember Mr. Potter." Nodded the older woman, "Am I to assume you wish to try?"

"Sure. But only as a part-time teacher's assistant instead of teaching all the classes, and with the option of leaving if something comes up that needs my attention," Harry explained his reasons for working here part-time, which McGonagall agreed with happily.

A few moments later, Neville brought in the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, who looked very promising from her records. Ms. Elizabeth Sanders, a muggle born witch from Ireland, taking on the position for how long she could since the position was no longer cursed by Voldemort.

Elizabeth and Harry shook hands before she took the seat to his side and listened to what the Headmistress had to say about Harry's terms.

"Well, I think that is perfectly fine with me, Minerva and Mr. Potter." Elizabeth said with a smile. She smiled at the two of them as she stood up and again shook Harry's hand. "I look forward to working with someone with talent such as yours, Mr. Potter." When seeing his look of unease, it made her laugh.

"Don't worry, Mr. Potter, I actually pay attention to your facial and body expressions whenever I happen to see you in the paper. Suffice to say, I know you find your fame deplorable, as does your wife. I admire her attitude, and assure you I'm not going to be another kind of crazed fan." Her eyes shone with happiness and a hope for a friendship.

Harry smiled at her and stood to walk her out. "Thank you, Ms. Sanders. I look forward to working with you as well. I believe I've heard about your father... Damian Sanders, was it? A master duelist in your family?"

Elizabeth beamed at her companion for his recollection. "You aren't wrong. Dad taught me everything he could until he figured out that I was already as strong as him when I was 14."

"Really? That young? Wow… You remind me of my wife," Harry said, fondly thinking of the woman he loved.

Elizabeth smiled at him as they got to know each other a bit more and plan their term curriculum.

Later that night, Harry came home with Elizabeth to meet Ginny. The two got along almost immediately once she knew the woman held no romantic feelings for Harry, had dinner, and even asked her if she would like to come over again soon, to which she agreed. The Potter's had made a new friend.

"I like her… She's a very nice young woman." Ginny suddenly said when they were climbing into bed, a few hours after their dinner with her.

"Yep. I got to know her and her teaching methods she plans to use every day. Suffice to say, she will make a great DADA teacher." Ginny grinned as Harry laid down in bed with a smile on his face, staring at his beautiful wife. "Being an assistant teacher to her might be interesting."

Ginny giggled, rubbing her hand down his bare chest. "At least now you won't be in countless dangerous situations on a regular basis... I hope, at least." Her voice was soft as she laid her head down on his chest.

"Haven't death eater attacks gone down recently?" His wife asked after a short yawn. Harry nodded and explained how in the last few months about almost nine out of ten of the few dozen escaped Battle of Hogwarts death eaters have been caught, while others are being watched closely by undercover aurors, and/or Hit Wizards and Witches. With Azkaban still going through various kinds of renovations to confirm that it was secure in the absence of the dementors, the aurors were under orders to only capture if they were sure potential prisoners were a danger to others.

Ginny smiled, snuggling into his side as she had her head on his chest, mumbling something incoherent.

Smiling softly at her, he kissed her on the head, and when her breath evened out to let him know she was fast asleep, he whispered. "I love you, Ginny Molly Potter. Sweet dreams."

Monday, August 25th, 2008

The next morning was a rather delightfully strange waking up for Ginny. She had flowers laying on her over the covers that simply had a note on it that said 'come downstairs'.

After getting dressed in her nightgown, Ginny went downstairs to discover Harry in a nice dark green suit with a green bow tie that she had bought for him on his 23rd birthday to compliment his stunning eyes that Ginny loved so much. She smiled as they hugged. "What's the occasion, love? I didn't forget anything, did I?" There was no fear in her voice at the question; even if she had forgotten something, she knew that Harry would understand.

Chuckling, Harry shook his head at the way his wife gets anxious if he dresses up without telling her. "No, you didn't forget anything, Ginny. I was just thinking if you wanted to do the Three Broomsticks for lunch. We haven't been on a date in a while." Harry smiled as he placed his hands on her hips and raised the nightgown, exposing the nude beauty to his gaze all over again.

Ginny shivered from his touch on her breasts as they leaned up to kiss, though a thought entered her mind as they pulled away. "Harry… Not that I don't love being naked with you, but are you sure that's a good idea when the boys could come in at any minute and be… well, scarred for life?" Ginny giggled at the thought, even though she didn't want that to happen.

Harry laughed the laugh that Ginny adored. "I already sent them over to the Burrow. Bill and Fleur are there, so the boys were thrilled."

"Excellent." Ginny grinned at her husband. "I'm guessing you wish for me to shower?" Seeing his nod, Ginny pouted as she twirled her finger through his tie and squeezed her breast with her other hand. "I would have… liked for you to join me… but oh well."

Harry kissed her, "Tonight we can love…" Ginny cut him off with a hard kiss that lasted five minutes, despite Harry wanting her to shower for their date, he wanted more, but Ginny was teasing him with that seductive smirk that she has been using on him ever since they grew used to how romantic they both could be with each other at the beginning of her fifth and his sixth year.

"That smirk of yours…" Harry trailed off trying to get a hold of his senses, pointing his finger repeatedly at his gorgeous wife. "You have no idea what it does to me…"

Ginny sauntered up to him, her breasts swinging gracefully as she put her finger on his chin and shut his gaping mouth. "I have an idea, Mr. Potter. I've had this effect on you for many years, I reckon. It is the same for me… Your laugh… It is intoxicating." Her giggle lighting up his face with a smile.

Right after she teased him some more with her words and actions, Ginny walked up to get a quick shower in to head out on their date to the Three Broomsticks.

15 minutes later, the Potters were out the door and apparated to the small wizarding village of Hogsmeade near Hogwarts.

It was a rather chilly day, so Ginny cuddled into her husband as they walked along, reminiscing. A shop display caught the eye of Ginny, and she nearly choked on her own air as she looked at the necklace around the mannequins neck.

Ginny put her hand to the window with a fond smile, remembering back to the first Hogsmeade visit she and Harry had together where she practically begged for the necklace, Harry offering to pay for it, but she refused him not wanting to have him spend his money on her, and maybe she could get in the future.

"The time is now…" Ginny whispered to nobody, withdrew her hand from the window and dug into her purse, pulling out 150 galleons.

Harry's eyes widened in curiosity, seeing how much money his wife seemed to have come from her purse, "When did you go to our vault to withdraw that amount of money?"

"Oh, I went the other day. I was expecting to buy a whole load of supplies for my office, but the Daily Prophet management bought us all the necessary equipment. I've been holding on to these ever since, now that I see this beauty, I'm going to buy it." Ginny declared happily, hoping her loving man wouldn't argue with her about buying something like that for her subpar jewelry collection that she didn't really care about, as that is not something she would even feel like showing off due to their refusal to attend many balls and Ministry functions.

Harry shrugged and smiled as she ran inside to point out the necklace to the cashier, who happily sold it to her, since no one took any interest in such a necklace due to the high price tag that not even the Malfoy's could afford. Ginny thought that maybe she and Harry were the richest family in the Wizarding World after all. Harry did tell her that 98% of their Gringotts Potter vault had yet to be explored, which intrigued the both of them immensely.

When back outside, Harry admired the necklace around her neck and even was shocked to see that Ginny had asked the cashier to engrave her name on it along with "Forever Harry's" which had him smiling with how Ginny loved being possessive of him as they took each other's hands and walked down the street to the Three Broomsticks pub.

Once inside the warm, quaint and friendly pub, Madam Rosmerta practically skipped to their table to take their orders. As soon as she arrived, she was gone. Ginny snuggled into Harry's side. "I love you… we should do this more often…" Ginny said, kissing him on the cheek romantically, forgetting that they were even married for the moment. The feeling being like when they were back here for their first Hogsmeade trip together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

"I missed this…" Harry sighed contently, wrapping an arm around his wife as she nodded against his shoulder. Ginny smiled. "I nearly forgot that we were married. This feels like the old days… No kids, no job…"

"Eh… I would, and wouldn't want to be back in the old days." Harry laughed, which turned to a little chuckle, "I would only want it to be the old days if Tom was destroyed earlier or all together when he attempted to kill me as a baby."

Nodding at him, Ginny took a sip from the cup of Butter beer that one of the waitresses brought over before asking him if he wished he could go back and change the fate of Voldemort growing to power.

Harry refused, not even a second later. "Nope. Because that is what led us to being together." He said, proud of himself for thinking that, even if Ginny frowned at him.

Ginny rolled her eyes with a slight smirk at how clueless her husband is sometimes. "You realize we have a soul bond, right? If it wasn't for the prophecy, and Dumbledore's slight meddling into our personal affair with that, then we would have gotten together a lot earlier due to the pull from the bond…"

"Right haha…" Harry scratched the back of his head, embarrassed that she had to tell him that.

Before Ginny could tell him that she was always right, a person with dark hair walked up to the table, looking quite pissed. The person stared at Ginny, her hands curling into fists. "Well, if it isn't Harry Potter and his ugly reporter wife…" Spat the woman.

Ginny frowned, placing her hand on her wand under the table. "What do you want, Cho? Can't you see we're busy with a date…"

"I happen to work here in Weasley, and it just so happens you aren't allowed in here. Only Harry is." Her smile was sickeningly sweet.

Ginny leaned forward on the table, hands under her chin, with a sweet smile on her face as she decided to play along with her semi foe. "Is that so? What would Madam Rosmerta think of this? Huh, Chang?"

Cho's eyes widened as she didn't think Ginny would threaten to tell Rosmerta about her trying to barr the redhead for the bar just because she didn't like her.

Sighing aggressively, Cho stormed back up to the front of the pub to take orders from other patrons, leaving the girl she despised alone with the man she wished she could have.

"So… How's your new position at work coming along?" Harry asked Ginny after giving her a moment to cool down her rage following that brief talk with Cho.

Taking a deep breath, Ginny addressed her husband with a smile. "Rather splendid actually except for the occasional drop in from that guy flirting with me, but I can tolerate it as long as he doesn't make a move on me." She said to reassure him that the guy wasn't annoying her as much.

Harry nodded before he started eating the meal that Madam Rosemerta sat in front of them. They chatted about their time here on each Hogsmeade visit in school, the one before Christmas during her seventh year being the one she loved the most, due to how romantic Harry was that day from missing her terribly since she got to school.

"I love this. Just you and me whenever we get the chance." Ginny said after taking a bite of her food.

While they talked, Draco Malfoy walked into the pub with his wife and son, nodded at Harry and Ginny before walking to the front and taking a table out of view.

"I sure am glad he isn't a terrible bully anymore." Harry whispered to Ginny in order for Draco to not hear him if he could.

Ginny raised an eyebrow at her husband. "Yeah, though Malfoy still is a pure blood elitist…"

"I understand that part. I'm just happy he doesn't just bully for the sake of it."

Ginny smiled. "Yeah, that is nice. I would probably hex the shit out of him for bullying you still, haha." her giggle causing him to smile greatly before kissing her fully on the lips, a move that caught her off guard, but she returned it with equal passion.

"I know you would, my fiery redhead." He teased her, eyes closed as he laughed quietly not to disturb the other patrons in the restaurant.

Ginny eyed him with a seductive smirk. "Call me that again, Potter, and we're going home to play." She put emphasis on play as she knew he would jump at the opportunity since they haven't been able to have their near daily love making for a few weeks due to work and playing with the kids.

With a soft clatter of the fork on the plate, Ginny eyed Harry looking at her as he neared her ear, anticipating what he was going to say, and she leaned closer. "Yes? Do you need to say something, my love?"

Chuckling, Harry whispered, "My… Fiery… Redhead." into her ear that sent chills down her spine and cause a blush to creep onto her cheeks as she placed the galleons required for the meal on the table and practically dragged Harry out of the pub and to the nearest apparation point to go home, nearly risking it all by shagging him in the middle street, love for her husband filling her up with each step.

Harry James Potter, for the millionth time in her mind, was the perfect man for her was what she was thinking.

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

A couple of days later, Milikan was outside the clan's boundaries on a leisurely late evening stroll through the woods with her best friend, a maroon colored snake, and his servant girl along with another dark grey colored female snake.

"Aberdan…" Milikan looked curiously at her friend, "Who is she?" She had never seen the grey snake before, even if her smile assured the stranger that Milikan didn't mean anything of ill intent by this question.

Aberdan grinned at the snake in question before turning back to his best friend. "This is Zeta from the clan on the East Coast states of the United States." Zeta beamed at him as he explained their association. "Zeta arrived two years ago via a human boat because the need to flee her clan was growing. Apparently humans had discovered it and the members of that clan had to flee." He said sadly.

Zeta shed a tear since she didn't know the fate of the rest of her clan, both her fellow snakes and their human servants, as she had fled a couple of days before the humans were set to arrive. "We grew close, and we are set to be married at the end of the year…" Zeta finished for Aberdan, smiling brightly at him and his servant girl. "And after that, I'll be an official part of this clan."

Milikan gasped in delight hearing that and hugged her friend tightly along with the servant girl, delighted for him to be engaged. Though old news to the servant, she still wished to show support for her loving master. Her spiky hair waving in the wind with the tiger tail attached to her underwear also did so.

"What's your name?" Milikan asked, finally looking at the servant girl who had accompanied Aberdan. The girl was wearing a tiger skin outfit, spiky hair pointing in all directions, DD cup large breasts hiding underneath that tiger skin garb with scars on her arms and cheeks grinned at her master's friend. "My name is Angel. I have been Master Aberdan's servant since I was 12 years old. I'm 24 now," the young woman said, delight clear in her voice, blushing when eye contact was made with the snake she loved.

Nodding at the girl, something odd caught the snake's eye. "What's with the hair, Angel?" Milikan asked in bewilderment at how her hair was like that, when the girl couldn't possibly have what humans call hair gel lying around.

Angel poked at it and giggled, "Funny story actually…"

"Which will have to wait, I'm afraid." Growled a voice from up ahead, "MILIKAN, I CHALLENGE YOU. YOU MAY HAVE KILLED SIMORA, BUT I WON'T GO DOWN SO EASILY." Kallous emerged from the darkness literally looking as if he could be foaming from the mouth, "I'll leave you to get ready. Meet me at the Hypnotia Arena..."

"The Hypnotia Arena?" Zeta repeated in confusion. "What in the world is that?"

Aberdan shook his head back and forth, cursing under his breath. "It's an arena for those challenged to fight to the death or when the other yields. It's barbaric, I tell you. There is an underground cave entrance at one end and if you fall in then that is it, you're dead, spikes are all over that cave bottom. What is Kallous up to?"

"I know what he is up to." Milikan said, gathering the attention to her, "I have a theory that ever since I vanquished Simora, Kallous has been plotting against Ginny and me. He wants to end me, effectively knocking Ginny out of my control…"

"Excuse me? That's horrible…" Terrified, Zeta was shaking in fear at the idea of the servant under Milikan's control going free. "Couldn't your death breaking the hypnosis over her cause… I mean, depending on how long she's been under or how she's responded to everything, she could go catatonic or…?" Zeta shook with the thought of those consequences affecting the woman that meant a lot to Milikan.

"Not or." Aberdan took the conversation back up after Zeta trailed off from her fear of what could occur. "She'll just go into a catatonic state for a day or two. The worst could be that she goes unconscious for the same amount of time." Aberdan said to his lover's relief, "We don't know much about soul bonds yet between human and snake. Hopefully nothing worse would happen, but depending on what she was doing at that moment…"

"Right… Now, back to the talk about this arena…" She asked him as he thought about where he had left off before the whole death of Milikan took hold of the conversation.

"Many have fallen over the years in this arena. Not one combatant has ever yielded to their opponent." Aberdan said shakily, slithering over to look Milikan in the face. "Do you plan to accept the challenge? Face Kallous for the ultimate dual that affects the fate of… Ginny? Was it?" The hidden tone in his voice was that he was afraid for his best friend's life.

When Milikan didn't answer him right away, Angel spoke up. "M-Maybe you should go tell the clan leader… Kallous could be banished and this dual cancelled… Don't let Simora's death affect how your life goes…" Urged the human to look in another direction for help.

Aberdan smiled at the young woman's convincing offer. Though, Milikan didn't seem like she would even budge. "I would listen to her Mili… My Angel is a smart one." Hearing his praise made the black haired girl blush a dark red.

Milikan's eyes darkened, closing to slits, her tail sliding through the mud harshly back and forth as she thought things over. Milikan wouldn't let Kallous win tonight, not by a long shot. 'That bastard Simora chose his own fate by setting his sights on Ginny. Now Kallous is following along the same path as his brother… This will be that delusional radical's downfall. I will not lose this fight. Radicals tend to get cocky, which I can use to my advantage. Ginny's fate, as does my own, lies with me. I will come out victorious.' She smiled, coming up with her plan on how to defeat him, tuning out the other three trying to convince her to expose Kallous's intentions.

The three others were listing off possible opportunities on what she could do to stop this fight or avoid it, while unknown to them, their ideas went on deaf ears.

Just as they were about to list off another idea, Milikan slammed her tail against a rock. "The arrogance of this deluded radical will be his downfall. I'm going to fight."

A little while later, the sun was beginning to set, rays of the last bits of sunshine beaming through the trees as dark clouds formed overhead with a dark aura.

Kallous, along with the last few remaining radicals, all sat around the arena waiting for the snake challenged to duel him to show herself.

Just as the sun set on the horizon, Kallous was in a bitter mood, thinking Milikan chickened out of his challenge when several orange glints caught their eyes at the tree line. The radicals were shocked to see five human servants walk out of the forest with torches, Angel and Tonks among them as they were following the snake that they served, minus Mzana for Tonks, as Mzana stayed at the clan to help the clan leader. Milikan had gotten a few others involved in this just to witness this fight.

Milikan emerged from the forest riding on a male servant of another one of her friends, a smug look on her face as she looked at her foe. Aberdan laughed out loud when noticing all their looks of shock, thinking that the only audience Milikan would bring with her were the two snakes and servant girl.

When noticing that same stick weapon attached to the purple haired woman's bikini bottom, Kallous recoiled in fear, which made Tonks confused as to what was making him so scared when looking at her.

"Kallous." Milikan said as the male servant carrying her let her down at the edge of the pit, "Before we begin, I have an offer for you." She kept her neutral expression on her face, while inside she had the biggest smirk of her life. What a perfect plan to make him cocky.

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh? What could you possibly have to offer to me?"

In the glow of the torchlights, Milikan's smirk became visible as she slithered down into the pit, followed by her opponent, and met face to face. "Here is my offer. If I win you, and you yield, your pathetic line up of radicals stay at the top of Hypnotia Mountain and never come down unless called to so."

Kallous looked back at his brethren to confirm if they would accept. They did.

Turning back to the purple snake, Kallous asked. "And if I win?"

At this, Milikan frowned, though still smirking on the inside, "If I yield then I transfer my control of my servant to you. She would be your servant and forget all about me. But you must accept these terms. No eating, no harming her, and no taking her away from her family. Got it?" She asked heatedly, ready to back track her offer if he declined.

As she said the point about giving Ginny to him, Milikan could already see his mind becoming clouded with what he could do to her as his eyes became glazed as he said rather clumsily. "I-it's a deal. May the best snake win. Which is obviously me."

'There it is. He's fallen right into my trap.' Milikan playfully laughed in her head at him showing his cockiness early.

"Are you sure you'll win?" Milikan faked concern as she pointed at his face, "You seem to be missing an eye. I wonder why?" She teased him.

"Why you…" Without being told to start, Kallous swung his tail at her face, which she dodged and brought her tail up, smacking him in the face hard with a resounding crack. Kallous fell to the ground hard, mud splattering all over him, just as it began to rain and thunder.

When he sat back up, he curled a rock in his coils, thinking that it was sneaky. Though unfortunately for him, Milikan saw it and smirked as he taunted her. "Lucky shot you damn bitch. You caught me off guard. It won't happen again." He growled at her as he prepared to throw the rock at her face.

While the rock was thrown at a fast speed, Milikan was faster and deflected the rock with her own tail right back at him, which he dodged and charged his opponent, who charged back meeting each other in a headlock in the middle attempting to push each other.

Kallous gritted his teeth as he tried to turn her towards the hole in the ground where she would fall to her death, but Milikan swiftly slipped herself out of the hold he had on her and slapped him towards the hole instead.

The radicals gasped in horror as Milikan looked like she would be winning sooner than expected.

Salazar, who was sitting back on a rock, smirked, seeing his error. "Milikan's leading him on and making him cocky. The Clever girl had this planned out from the start."

Kallous roared in anger as he tried to take a swing at Milikan which she effectively dodged no problem before headbutting him hard, causing him to reel his head back to rub it.

"Come on… My servant is very good at what she does." Milikan teased him to coax the snake into attacking her again. "Surely someone like you would want a servant so appealing, right?"

Kallous growled. "She may be a servant under your command… But under mine she shall be a slave when not around her family…" He smirked wickedly as he finished rubbing his sore head. "Whenever that human is with me, she shall forget all about her family, until the given time when she needs to return to them. I'll also have her quit her pitiful job, that is, if she has one, because no slave of mine will be working for anyone else."

Milikan chuckled as she rammed her tail into his missing eye, causing her opponent to scream in pain and make an attempt to bite at her tail, which he didn't do. Milikan pulled her tail away as fast as she could before jumping backward as Kallous whipped his tail at her with a jagged rock cutting her across the forehead.

Her eyes widened in pain from the blow, cradling her head, watching for the next attack from the evil red-eyed snake.

As she would've expected, the dark skinned snake didn't even bother to make a move. To scare him and get a possible attack off, Milikan looked behind him and began to fake being afraid. "Look behind you, Kallous. I-it's a b-bear…"

Due to how horrified his purple skinned opponent seemed to be, he took the bait and was suddenly caught in a fierce choke hold by his opponent.

"That's cheating you human lover…" Yunba spat out in rage. No one paid any attention to that radical's cry as Milikan dragged Kallous over to the edge where the pit was.

"Do you yield, you bastard?" Milikan growled in his ear right before he felt his body leave the ground, hanging by the mercy of Milikan's tail around his neck.

"Never… You piece of filth…" Gasped the dark skinned evil-doer. "Why would I… sur-surrender to a human lover like you…?" The one eyed bear victim never thought that Milikan would actually let him go. He thought her a coward to do so, but that slipped from his mind when he felt the grip around his neck loosen and his lone eye widened in fear. "Y-you're bluffing… You won't drop me… right?" He asked in fear as her tail loosened once more.

Milikan giggled, "Am I?"

Just when there was only one coil loop around his neck did Kallous actually get worried about the situation. "Someone… help… me. Help your leader." He cried to his friends, a cry to which no one answered due to it being a duel where no can interrupt.

"Simora would be disappointed in his brother for failing this easily. Looks like you die just like him. Fighting over my servant's life and or fate in the world." Milikan eyed him critically thinking he would argue, but when he said nothing, that is when she decided that he wanted to die.

With a sigh, Milikan loosened her grip on him even more. "I guess this is fare…"

"I YIELD… MILIKAN, I YIELD." Kallous gasped in horror when he felt Milikan about to let him go.

Milikan smirked, "I knew you would, Kallous. Now…" She leaned in to tell him something.

Several of the audience members gasped in shock, while the radicals did so terrified. Yunba looked at Kallous with disdain for yielding to their enemy, gritting her teeth viciously looking like if she wanted to attack Milikan when she brought Kallous face to face with her, said something to him, and then chucked him to the side.

Kallous held his head low as he slithered to his radical friends. Some were disappointed in their leader.

Back at the clan, Mzana was pacing back and forth, her nerves getting the best of her. If she were a human, all of her fingernails would be gone as she continued to pace.

When a commotion down in the social area suddenly erupted out of nowhere, Mzana raced out with the leader of the clan and his council members and had smiles grow on their faces when seeing a disgraced looking Kallous climb up the mountain with the rest of his embarrassed flock.

When the radicals reached the top of the mountain, Kallous broke down into a fit. "Milikan's right… Simora would be ashamed of what I have become…" The others watched as she retreated into his cave. "What's the point? Ginny will never be within my grasp. I want her dead, but who knows if I'll ever get a chance…"

Yunba hugged him, though she was still a bit pissy about him yielding and spoke a bit harshly to him. "Never say never… You will prove yourself to be a true radical when you meet Ginny once again."

"But how? We can't leave the mountain… We have to rely on human lovers to give us food and water…" Kallous sounded broken as he laid down.

"Who knows. But I won't rest until Simora is avenged. Let's just hope Milikan brings her pesky slave to this hellhole, and she wanders up here."

"Now that would be quite interesting." Quiz broke in smirking at her, and she frowned back at him, causing him to scurry away.

Going to sleep that night, Kallous felt really ashamed of himself for yielding to Milikan and knew that his long dead brother would think of him as a coward. The only question was how would he even be able to kill Ginny Potter if they couldn't leave this mountain?

Kallous sighed sadly, wishing his parents were there to help him plan, but alas they weren't, and it pained him even more. He was the last of his line.

The red eyed snake felt broken, cheated, dirty. But most of all, he felt like he had let his radicals down by yielding tonight. Being the first one to ever yield in the history of the Hypnotia Arena made him feel weak.

But most of all… Kallous felt as if he was a useless leader if he couldn't bring down one snake and her human lover.

"Where do I go from here, brother?" Kallous looked to the sky, expecting an answer from his long dead brother on how to kill either Milikan or the human slave bound to her...
