I do own my own character – Jalyne.

Chapter 28 – The Seduction

She could feel the rustling of the covers as her mind and body neared consciousness and sensed someone leaning over her. Jalyne cracked her eyes open to see dark flowing tresses just inches from her face and she reached up to caress them.

"I have to go." Adrian whispered. He dipped his lips to her neck and kissed her. "Beautiful place you have, by the way."

Jalyne smiled at him, eyes adjusting to her surroundings. She trailed a hand down his toned and exposed chest. "Thank you, Adrian." She murmured sleepily. "For everything."

"It is I that should be thanking you, my dear." He chuckled as he slid his leather coat on. "Anytime you arrive at any of the clubs, everything's on the house. I hate that I have to leave."

"It's alright." Jalyne smiled again. "Business doesn't stop."

"Too true." Adrian whispered in goodbye. "See you soon?"

"Of course."

The owner made his leave quietly to not wake her further and Jalyne laid in bed silently for a moment. Finally, she swung her legs over the side and stretched, the shimmer of the mako reactors still shining in the early morning night sky. The sun hadn't started to rise and as much as she needed the rest, Jalyne was restless.

"Go back to bed, yo."

She snapped her head to the other side of bed and watched as Reno cracked one eye open to peer at her. She smiled warmly at him and reached to caress him, letting him know it was okay that she was awake. Jalyne wasn't prepared for his lightning reflexes as he pulled her down and rolled on top of her.

"It is too early in the morning, yo." Reno breathed and nuzzled her neck affectionately. "Go back to bed."

"And if I don't?" she teased. "I have training in a few hours with Elena."

"I'll make ya go back to bed, yo." He slid his hand under her ass, trailing it along the back of her thigh and raising her knee. Reno dipped his head to her neck, trailing kisses down to her breasts, attending to each one lovingly as he tugged the jewelry on her nipples with his teeth, eliciting moans.

Jalyne trailed her fingertips lightly along both sides of Reno, causing him to shudder. She chuckled at his reaction to her tickling her of which aquamarine orbs were suddenly staring into hers.

"Oh? Is that how it's going to be, yo?" Reno threatened, letting his hair tickle her face as he shook his head lightly. He braced himself on his elbow next to her head and lightly ran his fingertips across her abdomen, feeling her muscles tense in anticipation.

"Don't you dare!" Jalyne suddenly shrieked at him, raising both legs to encircle his waist in an effort to fend him off. "You know I hate to be tickled!"

They tumbled around the bed for a few minutes, trading tickles until Jalyne came to land on top of him, out of breath and panting. Reno reached up and ran a thumb under her left eyes, grazing the bottom of her diamond mark. She closed her eyes and leaned into him, enjoying the contact. Jalyne opened her eyes and gazed at him.

"What?" she whispered, studying the emotion within his eyes.

"Nothing at all." He replied quietly and reached up to kiss her. Jalyne settled into place at his side and cuddled up to him, yawning, content to doze the rest of the night away.

"Rest. We have a long day ahead, yo."

"I know." She murmured. "I'm just not that tired at the moment."

"Uh-huh." Reno smiled into her hair, kissing the top of her head. Her even breathing started a few minutes later, telling Reno she was fast asleep. He stared at the ceiling and wondered what the future could hold for them. What happened a couple of hours ago, was fantastic, but it changed the dynamic of the relationship. Would it happen again, and is this woman capable of settling down? Was he even willing to settle into a monogamous relationship for he enjoyed the wilder side of his sex life?

Reno closed his eyes to doze, content in holding her close and not letting her go. The future is ever changing.

Elena fell face first on the mat, the breath taken from her. She rolled over and stared at her fellow Turk. The normally short blond-haired Turk now sported wavy flowing light chestnut long strands and she reached to swipe the sweat covered hair out of her face. Elena ached from the training session with Jalyne and groaned lightly.

"A lot of this is just angling you head to keep the hair from your eyes." Jalyne said extending her hand to help her up.

"How do you do it?" Elena asked brushing off her sweatpants.

"I'm used to it." Jalyne shrugged.

"Reno looks tired." Elena wryly commented giving Jalyne a side glance. "How was the club?"

"Interesting." the Princess evaded the question. "We had fun."

"Late night?"

"Early morning." Jalyne smirked at Elena.

"Reno got drunk, didn't he?"

"Nope." Jalyne laughed, eyes filled with mirth. "He got exercise, though." She paused. "A lot of it. Adrian did too."

Elena's mouth dropped open in surprise. "Jalyne!" she exclaimed. "You didn't! Did you?" Jalyne chuckled and winked at her.

"A Lady doesn't tell the details." She laughed and assumed the stance to continue training.

Reno lounged on the couch in the observation deck overlooking the training area, idly watching the ladies work out. Rude sat flipping through the files on Solarna and Tseng stood at the window, deep in thought. The red head yawned and stretched out further, watching Jalyne take Elena down for the umpteenth time. Rufus silently came through the door and stood with Tseng, observing his female Turks.

"Late night, Reno?" Tseng asked calmly, slightly turning to him as his Second stifled another yawn.

"Early morning is more like it, yo." He answered standing up and stretching.

"How did Jalyne fare at the club?" Rufus questioned still looking at them.

Reno smirked as he came to stand with them. "I hope you are ready for this, yo."

"What do you mean?" the President turned to look at him. The smugness of the second in command irritated him a bit with his cryptic answer.

"You may want to be alone, Sir, when observing her later."

"Reno." Rude interjected, not looking up from the files. "Out with it and quit being slick."

He laughed heartily and grinned at his superiors. "She'll put you in pain, I guarantee it. Let's just say she took care of some pent-up frustration for Adrian and me, yo."

"She did what?" Tseng inquired sounding surprised. "My hell, Reno. She wasn't supposed to dance last night."

"Yeah, go ahead and try to tell her what she can and cannot do." Reno scoffed. "She tried it out, yes. That and much, much more."

"And?" Rufus probed, slightly missing his intent.

"She can make a rock melt. She'll be just fine for this mission." He admitted glancing back out the window. "Shit."

The three others turned to look out the observation window just as Jalyne lifted off the ground. She hovered in front of them, crossing her wrists which glowed lightly. Spreading them apart slowly, the glass in the window shimmered and disappeared.

"Sir." She addressed each of them formally. "Elena and I would like to take all of you on. If Solarna has guards or multiple people in the back room with him, we would like to be able to counter it. Elena could benefit from a brief session. Even you, Mr. President, if you can spare the time." She looked at them, confused by their expressions. "What?"

"Damn." Reno finally breathed. "How could anyone deny this, yo?" he pointed out.

"Jalyne?" Rufus said slowly.

"Yes?" Jalyne answered turning in the air. The short dress she wore was the same as she modeled previously, and her hair was a deep red with lighter highlights. Her violet eyes shone in anticipation and mirth at taking them off guard by her appearance. The Turk had changed her partner in crime for this mission also, and Elena waited patiently at the mats, dressed to the nines with her chestnut hair and green eyes alight in mischief. "We have to practice, Sir. And what better way than in full gear." Reno stifled a laugh and Jalyne grinned at him. "I could lend a hand to you for the short way down, Sir." She teased.

"I'd love it." He countered not really thinking his way through his words and as he finished the sentence, Jalyne's power wrapped around him, taking him out the window. Reno yelped in surprise but wasn't afraid or scared. She settled him in front of her and smirked lightly at him.

"You were saying?" she challenged.

"You forget, yo." He smirked at her. "I love to fly."

Jalyne cocked an eyebrow at him, holding him steady for a brief moment before coming to hover close to him. He glanced at her form and noticed her light, the same light that he saw on Drogavor, pulse within her. Reno reached out to touch her, over her heart as she did the same to him, lending a spark of light to him.

"Reno?" she started to explain. "When I retract my power, think of flying."

"What are you doing?" he asked calmly.

"Something I've never done before." Jalyne stated, furrowing her brows. "I'm lending you a bit of power."

"Really?"

"Yes, so I hope you like to experiment." She said and withdrew her hand, leaving a spark of light within his chest.

The others looked on curiously, not wanting to miss the action of their strange and otherworldly Turk. Reno dropped a few feet before he stopped and opened his eyes, smirk upon his lips as he hovered below Jalyne. The aquamarine eyes glowed lightly with her light and suddenly he took off, using his speed bursts and combining it with her light and flight. Jalyne kept up with him around the room, much to the astonishment of the others. His mag rod came out and Jalyne defended expertly within the air, calling a blade to her. Finally, after a few minutes, Reno pinned her high on the wall, near the ceiling.

"That was fun, babe." He whispered. Reno could feel the light dissipating within him. "But to what end?"

"Never know when we're in a sticky situation and need to do this." Jalyne paused, breathing heavy from the exertion. She reached up and took his hand. "I've always wondered if I could transfer a bit of power to another."

"Ahh." He commented. "Thinking like a Turk, yo."

Jalyne guided them to the ground and landed softly next to him, with a glance upward at the others. Elena rushed to him excitedly.

"What was it like?" she asked as they waited for the others to join them.

"I love to fly." He stated calmly. "But that was different and exhilarating and damn if I could do that all the time!" Reno turned to Jalyne who was watching him calmly with a smile. "Now I know why you love it so much. It's intense and calming at the same time."

Jalyne nodded in agreement as the others joined them to finish the training session. By lunch, Rufus called it a day and sent them to their apartments to rest and relax until it was time to start the mission.

They arrived at precisely at five and Adrian met them at the back entrance and escorted them to the room Reno had set up the earlier in the week. Tseng and Rude were pristine as always and Reno's relaxed style was apparent, though he kept an alert eye. Jalyne and Elena followed behind, dressed in their Turk attire, and waiting patiently.

"I'm the only one here." Adrian explained of the eerily quiet club that Jalyne remembered was so lively the night before.

"That's fine." Tseng answered. "We'll get set up and be out of your hair."

"No rush." The owner continued. "The cooks will be here in an hour. I'll bring food here for you to have."

"Do you think Solarna will be here at nine?" Jalyne asked.

"He always is." Adrian chuckled, red eyes gleaming at her. "Your stunt last night spread like wildfire. I'm expecting a full house tonight. Phone's been ringing off the hook. All of Midgar might be here to catch a glimpse of you, my dear."

Jalyne smiled warmly. "Do I need to make an appearance, Adrian?" she teased.

"Jalyne." Tseng warned.

"Eyes on the prize." Rude inputted.

"Sorry, Sir." She said downcast but with a wink to Elena.

They entered the room and looked around. Reno started bringing up the electronics on the cameras and monitors. Within fifteen minutes everything was ready and Jalyne walked out to the bar to see Adrian, her earpiece in place.

"Can you see me?" she asked quietly.

Perfectly, Jalyne. She heard Tseng through the device.

"Good, Elena and I will stay around this area to start, then." She nodded at Adrian who started clearing off the bar and placing specific signs around the area Jalyne indicated. Jalyne walked to the booth that Reno and Adrian had occupied the evening before, when she heard static across the line. "Good evening, Mr. President." She whispered and nodded at the camera lightly.

Jalyne. He acknowledged. Are you and Elena ready for this?

"Yes, Sir."

Be careful and don't underestimate him.

"Yes, Sir." Jalyne replied respectfully. She switched her earpiece off and made her way back to Adrian, spying his form affectionately. The owner was special to her, and not just because of the previous night's events but because he also never looked at her differently or treated her differently.

"Adrian?" she asked timidly. "How long have you known Reno?"

The businessman chuckled lightly and looked amused at her. "Well, that wasn't a question I thought to hear." He paused, calculating the time. "About 20 years, why? We grew up together."

"I just wondered." She replied and looked down at the shiny bar, lost in thought. Adrian lifted her chin to gaze at her for a moment, red eyes boring into her green ones.

"I'm not sure what is going on between you two," he started, "but each of you needs to come clean and have a good heart to heart on how you feel for each other."

"You know?"

"It's plain to see and everyone does but you two." He chuckled. "This I know, Jalyne. He will always be there for you, no matter what and no matter whether you two are together or not. He is just that way. Loyalty to a fault and you are his family too – a Turk."

She nodded in understanding as Elena came up behind her holding her brown wig. "Boss says it time to change." She commented.

"Wigs?" Adrian questioned, looking at the stands in Elena's hand.

"Not quite." Jalyne winked at him and retreated to the room with Elena.

They took some time to 'change' into their outfits as the guys continued to make sure preparations were ready before the doors opened. Reno was in front of the computers and monitors with Rude, flipping switches and calmly calling out codes. Rufus had joined in briefly, his hologram showing within one monitor. He was apparently in relaxed attire, judging by the clothes that Jalyne spied, though she wondered why he chose his guest suite instead of his own.

"Protection." Reno answered her unspoken question. "We're all here and though he has other guards, anyone looking for him, wouldn't necessarily look there." Reno looked over his shoulder at Jalyne and took a sharp breath.

Jalyne straightened up and turned around with Elena doing the same. "Good?" she questioned. Reno caught the look in her eyes.

"Stop it." He commented acutely aware of her aura. "It's not time yet."

"I…can't?" Jalyne replied, spreading her hands. "It's a natural ability."

Yes it is. Rufus chimed in. You both look gorgeous. Be careful.

"Thanks, Sir." Reno sarcastically commented. "That's…not reassuring to hear. Of course, if you would have been here last night…you would have seen her full effect."

The President does not attend such public places, Reno. He replied with a hint of amusement.

"Uh-huh."

They were at the bar, Elena and Jalyne, as the crowds came in and the girls on the stage started dancing to the now loud music. Adrian was fixing drinks for other patrons but keeping an eye on the ladies. He'd try flirting with them to which they rolled their eyes and continued to themselves. The ladies sipped their drinks gingerly and casually spoke amongst themselves, giggling every now and then to amuse the onlookers.

He just walked in. They heard Tseng's voice. He's headed to the center booth.

Jalyne ran a hand along Elena's leg, trailing up to her ass just as the target passed them. Raphael paused, glancing at the two women at the bar who were flirting with each other. Jalyne's violet eyes contacted him briefly and she returned to Elena, who giggled with the light touch, taking another dainty sip of her vodka and cranberry. He nodded in response to the eye contact and continued to the booth, whispering to his two guards and the gentleman who accompanied him.

Damn, woman. Reno commented. That was quick. He's already interested in you too.

"Maybe he's ready to begin the night." Jalyne commented wryly.

Two are headed to the back room. Two are with him. Rude's voice explained.

But who is with him? Rufus's voice came through. I don't recognize him.

"He is not from Midgar." Jalyne smiled at Elena, brushing her hair back lovingly. Elena surprised her then by placing her hand on Jalyne's and leaning her cheek into it affectionately and blowing a light kiss her way.

How do you know?

Jalyne leaned into Elena's ear, nipping lightly, and causing her to shudder in pleasure. "Because his mind is screaming something foreign. The patterns are not the same as most here. Language is different." She replied.

Ahh…to have a telepath on the team. Reno joked lightly.

Elena and Jalyne turned to watch the dancers on the stage. Every so often, Elena would lean in to ask a question and Jalyne would answer with laughter and giggling when appropriate. Adrian would stop by and refill drinks, though taking it a little easy on Jalyne's. Out of the corner of her eyes, they both noticed Raphael glancing back at them now and again.

You definitely caught his attention. Tseng stated. He even moved to keep eyes on you two.

"Let's turn it up some then." Jalyne commented.

Jalyne. Reno warned.

"I won't do anything…yet Baelo."

Jalyne stood and motioned to Elena, who took the cue rightly and shook her head minutely, while Jalyne pleaded and pouted. The green dress slowly swayed as Jalyne moved her hips to the fast music, light on her toes, the sequenced green shoes glistening in the low light of the club. Elena stood and started slowly and jaggedly moving to the music.

Actresses. Came Rude's one word comment.

"Not bad, eh?" Elena replied.

This is gonna be a long night. Reno soured.

"You had a long night, yesterday." Jalyne jabbed back with a laugh as Elena pouted at her partner. "And I haven't even started dancing yet."

Yep…a very long night.

I must have missed something. Rufus commented.

Don't worry, Sir. Just remember what I told you. Reno replied.

Jalyne ran her hand to behind Elena's neck and sat back down on the bar stool to be at the same eye level as her. She glanced over Elena's shoulder to make sure Raphael was looking and leaned in to kiss her. Though surprised a bit at the timing, Elena returned the kiss fervently and convincingly, reaching up and massaging the nape of Jalyne's neck in response. The ladies had discussed this previously and conveniently forgot to mention it to the guys.

Holy Ifrit. came Reno's moan. Woman, I swear!

You are breaking my girlfriend. Tseng commented calmly.

Hook, line, and sinker. Rude stated succinctly. He's headed your way.

They broke apart as Raphael stepped up to them and waved at Adrian to take his order. "Excuse me ladies. I didn't mean to intrude. It's just a bit crowded tonight."

"That's alright." Jalyne smoothly stated with a smile. "No worries."

"I am Raphael." He took Jalyne's hand and kissed it. "Raphael Solarna."

"I'm Jalia. Jalia Miden." Jalyne stated and indicated with her other hand. "And this is my girlfriend, Leia Monrei."

"Pleasure." He responded, taking Elena's hand, and repeating the action.

Jalyne looked at him closely. He was meticulous in his attire, nothing out of place and Raphael exuded confidence and dominance. She gazed upward into his chocolate eyes, noting the pristine cut of his hair. It was styled short and business like, with not one platinum blond, black tipped strand out of place. He was handsome and his build was closer to Rude's than anyone she knew.

He smiled down at her, looking into her violet eyes smugly. "Do you two come here often?"

"This is our first time here." Elena stated calmly calling his attention to her.

"Are you enjoying the view?"

"Yes I am." Jalyne commented lightly.

"Jalia is itching to dance, but we're not sure if we're allowed or not." Elena said giggling. "She want to try out her skills. She's an actress."

Jalyne laughed and shook her head, making light of Elena's admission.

"You are an actress?" Raphael asked.

"Aspiring."

"And you? What do you do?"

"I'm an artist." Elena answered. "I study the early Cetra era and their works. You?"

"Very interesting, ladies. Me? I'm a businessman and a researcher." He paused. "So, you like to dance?" he changed the subject and directed his question to Jalyne.

"Yes." Jalyne pouted appropriately. "I would love to try that out." She continued, nodding at the pole. "But I don't know how to make it happen."

"I could make it happen." Raphael stated conceitedly. "Under one condition."

"And that would be?" Elena asked girlishly.

"Dance for me." He replied. "Both of you. And then accompany my friend and I for the night."

"I…umm…can't dance." Elena admitted sullenly. "Two left feet."

Raphael flashed a grin while waiting for the drinks of which Adrian was dutifully taking his time. "Alright. How's this?" he began. "You keep my friend company and Jalia can dance for me."

Jalyne knew that glint in his eye. He wasn't going to take no for an answer. She looked at Elena inquiringly hiding the smile that was threatening to overtake her features. Deal?

Deal. Elena responded and looked at Raphael with the perfect vaporish look in her eyes. "I think we can do that." Elena smiled at him.

"Let me introduce you to my partner while I wait for my drinks." He extended an arm to both of them and they submitted dutifully. The music was loud and blaring and the ladies looked around airily as he led them to the center booth.

"Ladies, this is Yuri. Yuri Taio." Raphael introduced them to his partner. Jalyne scanned him over and sent her thought out to Tseng. He reminds me of you. Possibly Wutain?

I know that name. We'll look into it.

"Yuri, this is Jalia and Leia. They will be accompanying us tonight. Jalia would like to dance, of which I will go arrange."

The younger man stood and bowed his head and Jalyne gazed at him a little closer. His white, pin striped suit accented his dark black hair and his black eyes. He had a foreign air to him and Jalyne figured he was Wutain. He held an arm out to them as Raphael walked back to the bar.

"Please, sit." He asked in a heavy accent. "It is nice to meet you acquaintance."

Elena slid into the booth first. She jerked her hand back and brought her finger to her lips. "A splinter." She pouted. Yuri sat down on the other side and Jalyne scootched by Elena. Raphael returned with drinks and they sat around idly chatting with each other.

"In about ten minutes, the club will darken. The lady on stage will finish her set and then it is your turn." Raphael smiled at Jalyne. "I must ask, though, are you a natural red-head?"

Jalyne laughed and waved him off sillily. "Yes and no." she answered. "My base is all natural." Jalyne grabbed a strand of her hair. "But I like to add the highlights. Makes it more…"

"Intense." He supplied.

"Yes." She agreed turning her violet eyes to him. Jalyne was slowly rubbing Elena's leg and she was reciprocating enthusiastically as she noticed his jaw clench slightly. "Do I need to do what they do?" she asked innocently.

"Are you shy?"

"I just want to know what you expect when I get up there. I'm an aspiring actress. I am to please."

"I'm sure you will, dear." He said confidently. "I would love to see what you have to assets. Perhaps I can help you along in your career. I am a businessman with many contacts.

Jalyne's eyes lit up enthusiastically. "Really? You would do that for me?" she exclaimed placing a hand over her breast and then turned to Elena. "Baby, I may get a break into the movies!"

"That's great!" Elena encouraged kissing her.

The lights dimmed and Jalyne looked at Raphael who offered to help her stand and lead her to the stage. "Is it showtime already?"

"It is, dear. Let me see what you have to offer."

And here we…go. Reno commented as Jalyne took the stage. Enjoy the ride, gentlemen. You too, Elena.

"Reno!" she whispered.

Jalyne took her position at the pole and waited for the music to start. The pole light flickered on, highlighting her and the sequence that was on her dress and shoes. The first song was a warmup, really, and Jalyne curled her leg around the pole, letting the skirt ride up more and exposing her toned thighs. Her hips rocked to the music, erotically using the pole suggestively. Jalyne trailed her hand in between her breasts and down her toned stomach and abdomen all the while maintaining eye contact with Raphael and licking her lips.

The start of the second song had her lithely sliding off her green shirt, revealing her nipple pierced breasts which upon them hung diamonds and amethysts which swung with her movement. Jalyne was purposefully keeping her dancing restrained and building up to the third and final song. The crowd didn't notice or didn't care. There was a gorgeous red head on the pole and the stage was lined with customers. Jalyne twirled in her heels making the rounds for gil as gentlemen stuffed it in her skirt.

The third song started and Jalyne shed her skirt.

Holy fucking shit. She heard Reno say. Then she heard a crash in the background.

What are you guys doing? She hissed as she faced the pole and flipped a switch upon it. It was a good thing the music was blaring.

Nothing. Rufus responded innocently.

This mission needs to end now. Reno commented seriously. You are mine tonight, Beloved.

Not if I get to her first, Reno.

Boys… Jalyne whispered as she bent over at the hips and placed her palms on the floor.

Holy Bahamut!.

You are seriously breaking my girlfriend, Jalyne. Tseng interjected.

She is not! Elena laughed hiding it behind a cough. Gives me ideas though. Yuri reached around to help her as she coughed, rubbing her back as the show continued.

Her thong tonight was diamond jeweled with the matching amethyst in the center. Jewels hung in fringe around the waist and moved just perfectly as Jalyne danced. The sparkles from them accentuated her moves and gave a magical feel to go along with the music.

Jalyne was to the left of the pole and as she rolled up to standing, she continued backwards into a backbend. She raised her right leg vertical and paused, then curled her knee around the pole. She extended her other leg outward perpendicular to the pole and paused in the handstand, her muscles flexed and glistening as being under the lights made her hot.

Jalyne pushed off the ground, allowing the rotation of the pole to guide her. She flowed around the pole like an angel, arms extended outwards and the glint of the jewels casting orbed light around her. Jalyne pulled herself upwards and grabbed the rotating pole with her hand, letting her leg free. All of her movements were controlled and graceful as she climbed the pole higher and higher.

Stop it!. Reno begged. Fucking hell, Jalyne, you're killing me, yo!

No. came the calm reply as she flipped upside down and swung around the pole, changing positions gracefully and fluidly, showcasing all of her toned and perfect physique. Jalyne grabbed the pole and let go with her legs, carefully bringing them horizontal to her body and slowed the spin to a crawl, suspended like a T. She brought the heels of her feet to rest on opposite sides of her hands in a sideways spit across the pole and heard another crash in her earpiece of which she smiled, imagining what the gentlemen were doing.

Painful. Came Rude's quiet voice which surprised her.

Sol can do this too, Rude. She whispered teasingly to the silent Turk with moans filling the earpiece.

Jalyne glanced at Raphael who was licking his lips lightly but never took his eyes off of her. She braced her elbow to the pole and flipped elegantly, circling the pole on her descent to the ground. Jalyne pushed off pole at the marble floor and spun, landing on her back with her face inches from him and then rolled over and propped up on her arms seductively and leaned into him, violet eyes challenging his chocolate ones. She teased kissing him twice, breathing and exhaling erotically to him before pushing and sliding away, twisting, and arching her back into a sitting position. Jalyne looked coyly over her shoulder at him and proceeded to entice the crowd on her hands and knees, accepting the proffered gil. The song came to an end with her sitting against the pole with her head back, allowing her red hair to cascade to the floor. The lights dimmed in the club.

And that, gentlemen, is how we erotically dance on Trerran. Jalyne chuckled. There was a long pause.

I stand corrected, Reno. She finally heard Rufus.

There was another crash in the background.

I am not the only one in pain, now am I, yo? Reno responded.

No. came the unanimous reply.

What are you doing? Jalyne asked picking up her clothes and dressing, making her way to the booth.

We…um…made a mess. Tseng replied. With the food.

Jalyne smiled as she came to stand in front of Raphael. "What did you think?" she questioned in her ditzy character. He reached out and pushed a stray hair back from her face.

"You have talent." He stated, licking his lips.

"That was great, Jalia!" Elena exclaimed, kissing her girlfriend again of which Jalyne lovingly returned.

"Why don't we take this in the back lounge where it is a little quieter?" Raphael coughed to get their attention. "We can discuss your up-and-coming career, Jalia."

Yuri stepped out of the booth to escort Elena and Raphael took Jalyne's hand to guide them through the excited crowd. Raphael slid his arm around Jalyne's waist, and she felt a prick, looking questioningly at Raphael.

"I apologize, Jalia. Did my ring catch you?" he asked sliding his hand up to show her his ring. It carried an emblem she did not recognize. Elena and Yuri were a few people ahead of them when Jalyne saw her sag within Yuri's grasp.

Shit! Jalyne threw out telepathically. They dru—

Jalyne slumped into Raphael, who continued to manuever through the crowd, a devious grin on his face.

ELENA! JALYNE!
