Naruto shot at the man, only to freeze the moment the man opened up his other eye. Slowly the commas swirled until a fancy pattern appeared.
"From this point on, you are my servant. You will obey me, to the letter."
The eye fade, making Naruto stumble.
"You bastard!"
The man grinned. "Punch yourself in the face."
Naruto found himself on the other side of the room, his face and fist hurting.
The man was at his side. "You will not reveal my being here. You will begin to study, and training as I order both openly and in secret. Every week I will visit you or send a Subordinate. You will know them by this phrase.
The Roots remain, even after the leaves fall.
Obey their orders as you would mine. As you study and train, you will get people questioning your change. Say you overheard a boy named Rock Lee speak of graduating despite not being able to use Ninjutsu. You were inspired and trained hard so you can graduate."
The man vanished, leaving a horrified terrified Naruto in the apartment alone.
