This is the barest of barest bones of this potential story... obviously it would be fleshed out... and much more explained... but this is a good idea I think...

Traitor... brother... Son... Demigod... Hero... Vessel...

Like trash, he floated across the waters and space, beyond even death...

Luke had been to the Underworld, he knew this was not the after life... this was nothing... a place where the explosion born of a Titan scattering had sent his soul...

He would never be allowed rest...

He would drift forever...

"Oh stop being so dramatic."

Luke settled, the world twisting in an instant, so he was left in total form. He looked down at his hands, stunned and amazed to see that he was till intact. "Where am... how?" He knew it was foolish, but this made no sense.

Thankfully, the source of the voice he had just heard sighed, and he looked at it. The source was neither man nor women, with no determinable race or identity... and yet, it felt undeniably familiar. The voice's source was sitting on a throne born of what looked like a massive tree, decorated with very familiar apples... and several odd pears that were equally golden.

The source of the voice looked at him with a bored expression, sighing lightly. "Are you focused? Cause we don't have a whole lot of time, and I really want to get this offer of mine started." The voice was pitched perfectly, almost like a robot's impression of what a human was supposed to sound like. "A Fair enough comparison I suppose... now sit down, and ready yourself, Luke Castellen, we have much to discuss."

He fell back, onto a throne of his own, one that matched Kronos' old black throne. "Who... I don't understand..."

The voice laughed, silencing him with an off handed rudeness. "I imagine not." The voice had shifted, becoming far more human but still lacked accent. "I haven't even introduced myself yet. My name is Khaos, it is an honor to meet you, Luke Castellen, child of Prophecy."

He choked, shaking and terrified. " Khaos… as in the primordial creator of our world and parent of all immortals?"

The Immortal just shrugged. "I didn't make your world child, and I am hardly the only one of my kind. Trust me, the only thing that makes me special is that I added to your world instead of consuming it like I was made too... now let me explain fully before you speak again. I don't have enough time or focus to keep you here for too long." The being in front of him sighed, shaking it's head. "Now, from the beginning... I am a tree, in fact I am the tree you see behind me." It gestured to it's throne. "My siblings and I were beings crafted by an ancient force, sent to other planets to feed on the warring essence of humans. We would grow to massive levels and destroy that world. It was cruel but that is what we were made for. Most of my siblings have done this, with several beings learning to draw on our powers by tapping into the physical vessels or even eating out fruits. I was different... Humans had spread too far to be united by my power, to fight each other to the death... I could not tap into their animalistic nature enough to feast on the life of the Earth... and so I did what I could. I managed to create lesser versions of my tree, and sent them to each part of your world. The Golden Apples of Hera, of Induun… the Golden Pears of Immortality, the Tree of the Fruit of the Knowledge of Good and Evil..." With a sweet, loving gesture, the being gestured to the various apples and pears on her tree. "Where each of my incarnations appeared, new gods rose, born of the connection between me and the people native to that area. I was feeding and growing, but since I was divided I was not destroying them world and I was content.

The gods manifested different in each world, as my parts were not perfect. Some were more spiritual, some more Physical... and that was reflected on the nature of the Gods. The Norse gods, for example were purely physical, where as the Hindus were all about my spirit, my energy... for a time I was happy, with my lesser incarnations and children shifting and changing with time... then I realized the sad truth. In each world, Fate appeared, and with that force, that horrible biproduct of the power of my creators, my legacies were doomed to suffer and repeat so that I could feed.

That is the source of the evils you faced, young Luke, and for that I am deeply sorry..."

Luke didn't speak for a moment, then he nodded. " I... I am not sure why I believe you, but I do..."

"You were touched by a Titan, your very soul scorched by my power. All immortal souls are born of my power, as are the power of the Immortals. You can sense my lies as if you were the liar. Same with the truth... now as to why you are here. I have an offer, one that would allow you to fight Fate and help those abused children you were so admiment to save early on in your treachery, before greed and hate took too strong of a hold."

Luke sighed, but nodded. "I assume that if I don't, I either go to Hades or just stay here, right?"

"Basically... now here is my offer." Mist, stronger then anything Luke had ever seen, gathered around the room and he saw a boy, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Is that my brother?" It looked like one of his brothers, damn near identical... the same elfish aura of mischief and a familiar look of being beaten down by life.

Khaos shook it's head. " No, that is Naruto Uzumaki, The child of Prophecy from a world where one of my siblings live. In his world the power of the God Tree was consumed by an alien named Kaguya, making her a power beyond all of the gods of your realm. Her sons inherited her powers, much to her insanity, and she hated them. I will not bore you with the details, but know that she was sealed away... however something is striving to resurrect her. Naruto Uzumaki is meant to be the hero that puts her away again... only problem, the boy is weak. He cannot sacrifice for himself or understand the darkness of this world. He will succeed but at a great cost...Behold the world he would create!"

The Mist swirled again, revealing utterly nothing...a world, torn apart by war.

"How... how did one person do such a thing!"

Khaos sighed. " He didn't... Naruto is unable to make hard choices, he is too much of a paragon. He has never questioned that his morals are not the best, or that his logic and reasoning could use some clarity. It is his critical weakness... no one ever bothered to correct him. He was placed into a place of unquestionable power, with the might of a god. I am sure you can figure out the result."

Luke clenched his fists, reflecting on his own actions. "He's like Percy... like me... without someone to teach him, he just makes impulsive decision after impulsive decision until there is nothing left. He cannot grow... and that means he causes more problems when the world needs a darker leader."

"Exactally, which is where you come into play. Your soul is already displaced, and you understand the real world. You understand the grey areas. I will, if you allow it, place your soul in Naruto's at a critical point in his life. You will help the boy, and make him into a soldier and a leader. His world has a million heroes, and so few leaders..."

Luke nodded, without question. "Do it..."

I am not doing this story, at least not for a while, but this is the barest of bones of it...
