Korra is a hard series to write for but I am trying.

"See you later." Mizuki smiled at his boss, moving out of the library he worked and out to the streets of Republic city. It was only when he left the building and moved a few hundred feet away that he let his exhaustion show. He was beat, utterly worn out. 'Why do I have to have two jobs? I am only sixteen... why is Republic city so expensive? Especially for a nonbender. I can't get a well paying job as a healer or at the lightning factory... stupid biases.' Sighing, he hurried to the large arena where the pro benders were performing. It was an important day, one that he looked forward to. He may not care much for sports but he did like acting as a healer for those within. Bolin and Mako and the other guy on the Fire Ferrets gave him wonderful experience as a healer, even if no one else would hire him despite having gone through three years of healer training.

No one questioned him as he ran inside, they had known him for the last six months, ever since he graduated as a healer. His discount services were just barely legal so he had ended up helping many Probender over the last few months. Everyone knew him, and many paid him rather well allowing him to live far more comfortably than without this under-the-table job.

Making his way through, he eventually heard a familiar voice calling out. "Hey, what're you doin' in my gym?" It was Toza, an old Earthbender he had helped with massages and other such things to help his rough shoulder.

An unfamiliar voice, a girl's, said. " Uh, I was just looking for a bathroom and I got lost."

"Ah, the old "I had to pee" excuse! You know, I'm sick and tired of you kids sneakin' in without payin'! I'm taking you to security!"

"No, wait!"

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you!" A smile crossed Mizuki's face as he heard Bolin's beautiful voice. He adored Bolin, the boy was the kindest person he had ever met. " It's all right Toza, she's with me.

"Yeah, I'm with him."

"No, you see, we're together."

"Well, not together together, more like friends.

"Right, friends. No, no, I didn't mean to imply." As Bolin cleared his throat, Mizuki finally made his way to the gym where he saw Bolin, Toza and a stunningly beautiful girl with perfect muscles and a kind smile. She was water tribe clearly, with an incredibly potent aura. It was actually kind of scary, he knew with chi like that she would be a terrifying bender.

Toza raised his arms. "Ah, I don't care what you are! I got work to do." As the old man turned, he and the others saw Mizuki. "Hey, do you have time for a massage, my arm is aching something fierce."

Smiling, Mizuki approached. "After the match I am all yours, my friend. Free of charge."

Toza laughed. "Hiring you was the best thing we did, I always feel so much better with your help."

"That is my goal... now, come one Bolin, Miss, we have a match to get to."

Bolin nodded. "Hiya Mizuki. Right this way, miss."

They walked by as Toza started using earthbending to practice moving the barbells.

"And thank you, sir! Seriously, thanks."

They both walk away, smiling broadly, while Toza keeps repeating his exercise. After a few moments of silence, they moved to the Place where the Teams sat and waited for each match. It was fun to see the Lady's face filled with excitement at the sight of it.

Bolin beamed smugly. "Whaddya think? Best seats in the house, huh?"

"Whoa! Unbelievable This place is even more amazing than I imagined!"

"Name's Bolin, by the way." Bolin said as Mako and the other Fire Ferret walked into the room.

"Korra." The girl said.

Mizuki shrugged. "Mizuki, I am the team healer. I work for everyone here since most teams can't afford a water bending healer."

"Psst," Mako said. "Bolin, Mizuki."

"Yeah?"

As Mako put on his outfit, he glared at Bolin. "I told you, you have to stop bringing your crazy fangirls in here before the matches. Get her out of here. And you, Mizuki, stop letting him bring people here."

Mizuki glared right back. "I don't let anything, he is a big boy. Besides, I am curious as to why her Chi is so massive. I have never come across anyone like that before."

Bolin started to whine. "Come on, Mako! Right, look, I kinda promised her she could stay, but man, I got a good feeling, there's somethin' special about her. I know it!" Bolin grabbed Korra by the shoulders and pulled her over. " Come here, I want you to meet my brother, Mako."

Korra offered her hand to Mako. "Mako? Wow, I-I heard you playing on the radio."

Mako ignored her entirely, like the jerk he could be. "Come on, Bolin, we're up."

"... or I could meet him later."

Bolin smiled. "Yeah, sorry about that. My brother just gets real ... focused before a match." Bolin put on his helmet. " Okay, I gotta go, wish me luck. Not ... that I'll need it."

"Good luck. Knock 'em out!" Korra exclaimed, excited and happy!

As per usual, Mizuki barely paid the game much attention, he wasn't there to be a spectator but a healer. He had no interest in idiots attacking each other with their bending. Still, he tried to pay attention to Bolin, who he was extremely fond of. The boy was amazing as a person and as a Probender.

Eventually, after the Fire Ferrets won, the team hurried back to the Locker room.

Bolin was beaming. "Woohoo! Yes! One more win and we're in the championship tournament! " He snapped his fingers as he took off his helmet. " So, what'd ya think, Korra? Bolin's got some moves, huh?"

Korra grabbed him by his shirt's collar. " What did I think? What did I think? That was am gazing!" Korra playfully pushed Bolin backward. Mizuki snorted, if nothing else, Bolin had found a good friend in Korra.

Turning, he saw Mako and Hasook arguing, with Hasook charging off out of the locker room arrogantly.

Mako sniffed. " Useless."

Korra was beaming. "You guys were incredible out there! " She pointed at Mako. "Especially you, Mr. Hat Trick!"

Mako frowned coldly at the girl. "Oh, you're still here?"

Mizuki had enough. "Mako, enough, be rude on your own time, she is being nothing but respectful. Be nice or I will refuse to help you."

Mako frowned, then sighed. "I... fine. I am sorry, Korra."

Korra frowned right back. "Whatever." Then she turned to Bolin. "I've been immersed in bending my entire life, but I never learned how to move like that! It's like there's a whole new style here! Think you could show me a few tricks?"

Bolin nodded. "Ab-so-lutely!"

Mako groaned. " Right now? Come on, Bolin."

"Just ignore him. Yeah, I could show you the basics. I'm just not sure how my earthbending would translate to your waterbending, but we'll figure it out."

Korra turned smug. "Won't be a problem. I'm actually an earthbender."

Bolin looked at her confused. "I'm sorry, no, no! I didn't mean to assume. 'Cause I, you know, I was just figuring ... with your Water Tribe getup ... that you are ... a Water Tribe ... gal."

Mizuki started to laugh, gathering their collective attention. "She has more chi than anyone I've met, she is a water and earth bender... she is the Avatar, Bolin!"

Korra nodded, her expression smug as could be.

Bolin's eyes widened in shock. " No ... way. The Avatar!"

Mizuki bumped into the girl, smiling. "Ignore him, he is a giant fanboy of anyone famous. Good things he's cute. Anyway, why don't you show us what you got? Or, well them, I have to go massage our friend... hey, you are training with Tenzin, right?"

She nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"Can you introduce me? I ... I am not a bender but I am trying to learn from the cultures to make a broader form of healing. Using tricks and abilities from all nations. I can sense chi thanks to a firebender, I can read auras like a water bender and I can feel lies like an earth bender, Not the bending form but still. I want to learn the other forms and tricks to help become a better healer and more interesting person."

She nodded. "That would be interesting... sure, I always learn better when I am training with someone, It can' hurt."

He hugged her. "Thanks. I'll meet with you to travel to the Temple tonight, if you don't mind."

"Sounds perfect."
