Malfoy Mansion

"Ah, Potter! You're finally here, what took you so long?"

Harry sees Draco and Ginny inside the kitchen. His friend is watching him with a glass of wine in his hand. Harry looks around the place and then, lifting his hands, he starts murmuring a few spells.

"What are you doing?" Draco asks, coming to stand by his side. Harry doesn't answer, he can't break his concentration. "Harry?" Draco extends his hand to touch Harry's arm, but someone stops him.

Harry hears Hermione saying, "Let him do it." Draco scoffs at her.

"I'm sorry, were you invited?" Draco says.

"Draco, stop it. We have a lot to talk about." She says.

Harry finishes the guarding spells and turns to them. "Did you owl Ron and Luna?" He asks Hermione.

"Yes, they should be here soon."

"Okay," Ginny comes from the kitchen, Aria in her arms. Dominic is probably at the Burrow. Ginny keeps complaining the he prefers to be there than in his own house. "What's going on?"

"We decided we're not hiding things from the people we love anymore." Hermione says to her and Harry sees Ginny's eyes softening.

"About time." She mumbles. "Wine?"

"Don't think I'm letting this go so easily." Draco says to Hermione as they walk to the kitchen.

She dismisses what he says with a wave of her hand. "What you wanted me to do? Jack is the Head Auror, he's the one calling the shots there-"

"Ah, come on, Hermione! I know he obeys you, I know you could forbid this ridiculous mission!"

"You two, enough." Ginny says. "I'll be fine by myself for a couple of weeks, Draco. I know you want to be home, but this is your job after all." Her tone leaves no room for arguing. Harry is surprise that she's taking Hermione's side so easily. But then Ginny turns to her. "And I really hope you have a good explanation for all of this." Hermione sighs. Ginny is talking about Jack and the engagement. She pours them some wine and takes an almost sleeping Aria to her crib.

"So, what were you doing back there?" Draco asks.

"Some guarding spells. They can identify charms inside the mansion, like those able to hear and watch us. But the house is clear and I made sure we're in a secure place to talk freely."

Draco raises his eyebrows at him. "Well, teach me those later."

Harry nods. Hermione leans forward against the kitchen's isle and Harry, who is behind her, can't stop his eyes from following her every movement. A few hours ago he was holding her inside his shower. He shivers. It was… rough. And amazing. He takes off his coat, feeling hot, the way she said 'fuck me' to him invading his mind. He takes a deep breath.

"Thinking about the shower?" She sways her hips a little, teasing him. Harry clears his throat and averts his eyes. He doesn't trust himself that much.

"Witch."

"Are you two talking inside each other's heads? Because I have to say it's a little freaky." Draco has a disgusted expression on his face. Hermione laughs and Harry coughs. Draco narrows his eyes. "I don't even want to know, do I?" Harry shakes his head at his friend and Ginny is back.

"What did I miss?" She asks.

"Nothing, really. We're waiting for Ron and Luna-" Harry starts.

"Oi! Heard my name!" Ron says coming from the other room.

Him and Luna greet everyone, but Harry notices her looking at Hermione with questioning eyes. Then at Harry with a smile. She hugs both of them together and says, "I'm glad you finally found your way back to each other." How can she tell?

When she releases them, Draco, Ginny and Ron are watching with wide eyes, mouths open. Harry sees Ginny's eyes scanning Hermione's hand. She's not wearing the ring. She said to Harry that it feels like a prison to wear it. It's a constant reminder that she needs to be nice to Jack and sometimes it drives her mad. He just mumbled to her that she should end the engagement and tell Jack to fuck off. She shook her head. Harry hates this.

He watches as Ron and Draco finally understand. They all start asking questions at the same time, making it impossible for Harry or Hermione to explain anything. So, she turns to him, and holding his head she kisses him. They all stop talking. "See?" She says to him, her lips still on his. It's a chaste kiss, just something to show the others. Then she releases him.

"Yes, we're together. No, I didn't end things with Jack. And yes, we're going to explain everything." She resumes to them.

"Yes," Harry takes her hand in his. It wasn't their intention to reveal that they are back together - because they are, they don't even need to talk about it, their emotions tell everything, it's what they want so they decided it would be this simple - already, but Luna saw right through them. "And I feel the need to warn you that what we're about to say involves bigger things and even dangerous things. We totally understand if anyone wants to be left out of it." Harry shrugs. "It's our problems and I didn't want to share, but Hermione said that all this mess we made, we made because we didn't share so-"

"And she's totally right." Ron says. "We're friends, Harry. Best friends." He looks around. "All of us." They all nod.

"I guess we're going to need more wine for this." Ginny says.

They're all sitting in a circle, Hermione is by Harry's side, leaning against him, his arms wrapped around her. If it wasn't for the craziness of the moment she would be in heaven. To be with him like this, after so many years, is something that warms her inside, that gives her life. The others are in similar positions on other couches. They just finished telling them everything.

"So, there's a prophecy that dooms you and the girls if you stay together?" The way Draco puts it is not refreshing.

Hermione makes a face. "Yes, basically."

"And there's the Agents and the Believers?" Ginny asks.

"Yes." Harry answers.

"I knew something was up that day. All those questions about prophecies." Luna shakes her head. "If you'd told us sooner we could be investigating it for months now." She's not judging them, just giving a piece of her mind. "I've been watching the girls as you asked me to do, Hermione. So far nothing strange happened. They're fine and all their friends seem okay… I mean, they're only eleven." Luna shrugs.

"You asked her to watch the girls?"

"Of course I did." She frowns a little at him.

"Oh, are you talking inside each other's heads?" Ron asks.

"How can they tell?" Harry sends her.

"I guess it's because we're quiet." She clears her throat.

"Sorry, we won't do it again in front of you."

"Yeah, right." Harry says.

"They don't need to know." She smiles a little.

"Oh, yes," Luna says, "I found something about this connection you two share, but I left all the information back at Hogwarts." Hermione's not sure what to say and Ginny steers the conversation.

"Okay, but can we trust them?"

"Harry thinks so." Hermione says. She doesn't like how much he trusts Marga and her intentions.

"And you?" Ron asks her.

"I'm not sure yet. Any kind of extremist group is something that should keep us on high alert."

"Like I told you all, I've been working with Marga for the past months and so far I have no reason to doubt them. She saved me and-"

"Harry," Draco interrupts him, raising his hand, "I'll say this with all my love for you, man. I grew up in a house filled with dark wizards, with Voldemort himself later and I know they can be deceiving when they want to. I mean, who is Marga, really? I know her, I trained with her too, but I always questioned her… Where were she when Voldemort was taking over? She's a powerful old witch, she knows secrets of the magical world no one else knows. And if I were the bad guy, this time, I would do it differently, of course… why go against you, Harry? Why not make you join forces with me by making you believe in what you want to believe? And don't give me this crap that you're not that powerful. You are. You wielded the deathly hallows in one point of your life. How many wizards can say that? And how many still want that?"

Draco's words silence them.

Hermione said similar things to Harry earlier, after their shower. They had a really long talk where Harry finally opened up about everything. About what he's been doing every night, about the kind of training he went through. What Marga wants from him. She's grateful, of course, the woman saved Harry, but… can they really trust her? What bothers her is that Harry doesn't even question it. He trusts her. Period. And then they decided they should tell their friends, their family, what's happening - leaving out only her real position at the Ministry. Hermione didn't find fair to them, to keep all these things, these secrets. Secrets can ruin everything. And she's tired of them. She's tired of pretending to love Jack… and that was something that almost gave Harry a fit when they were talking. He wants her to end things with him. Harry says he'll investigate Jack on his own, but that infuriates her. If she end things with him, she's sure Jack will find a way to make them pay, a way to get back at them. And he hasn't been a real threat. Yet. She said to him that she wouldn't end if she didn't have a reason good enough. But by the look Harry gave her when she said this she knows the conversation is not over. He's bringing it up again very soon. And then there's the note, the mission, the prophecy… She sighs. I want a break from all of this.

"For now Marga is our best shot." Harry says.

"Maybe." Luna says, her voice dreamy. "I mean, I know a lot about prophecies and divination too. I can help." Hermione smiles. She grew close to Luna since that party at the Burrow and she really loves her and how much she makes Ron happy. The girls love her too.

"Of course, Luna, we're taking all the help we can get." She says.

"Well, I can't say how relieved I'm that you're not really truly marrying Jack, Hermione." Ginny says. "I hate him."

"Me too." Harry says.

Hermione nods. "I know, and I'm sorry I kept this from you. Harry and I talked a lot and… I know is a little egoistical to think like this, but if you guys know everything you can also protect the girls and-"

"Don't you dare feel guilty about involving us, Hermione." Ron cuts her. "The more we know, the more we can help. And besides you two can't always carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Enough of this. We were a trio years ago and now we're a sextet!" He shouts the last word with enthusiasm.

Draco raises his eyebrows at Ron's words, Ginny smiles. Luna kisses her fiance lightly. Hermione shares a look with Harry. They all laugh a little. After a while Draco says,

"Can we talk about this absurd mission the Jerk is sending us?"

"Oh, yeah! What's Daisy doing here, Harry?" Ginny asks.

Hermione scoffs. "Her and Cho."

"Don't be jealous." Harry teases her.

"Please. I would never."

He laughs. "They did it again, didn't they?" Ron asks and Luna nods.

"Well, Cho is here because Jack asked for her personally." Harry remembers what she said when they reunited at the Burrow.

"What?" Hermione is really surprised. "It's the first time I'm hearing about this." She bites her lower lip, her mind working fast. "Are they in this together?"

"Oh, I have no doubt about it." Draco says. He sighs. "Ginny, Harry, I have to tell you something." He turns to his wife.

"Oh, what's going on?" Hermione asks.

"I have no idea. Should be good?" He's not sure, Draco seems pretty serious.

"Since we're all sharing secrets and being honest… I have to tell you why I hate Chang so much." He's nervous, rubbing his hands together. "Back in New York, when she was with Harry, she… she tried hooking up with me."

"WHAT?" Ginny shouts.

Harry is in shock. "While we were together?"

"Shocker." Hermione feels a little uncomfortable that Harry seems really upset about this.

"Yes, you and Ginny were running late for a dinner at our house and she was there, drinking and laughing and she said 'you know what would be fun? For us to have an affair.' She- she kissed me."

Harry clears his throat and removes his arms from Hermione's waist, changing his position on the couch, leaning forward. Ginny has her mouth open, totally furious.

"I pushed her away and she said it was the wine, that she was just a little drunk. She never talked directly to me again after that."

"Why you never told us?" Harry asks.

"Because she was there all the time, Harry! Lily loved her, she still does! And I knew that if I told you, you would end things with her and…" He briefly glances at Hermione, apologizing for his next words, "it was the first time after years that you were truly happy, I didn't want to ruin that."

Harry gets up and Hermione feels angry. Angry at the situation, angry at Cho. How could she do that to Harry?

"But why didn't you tell me?" Ginny asks him.

"I don't know, love, I'm sorry. It never happened again and I thought it was pointless…"

Hermione watches Harry heading to the kitchen. She ponders if she should follow him.

"More wine?" He asks her.

"Yes… Harry, are you-"

"Hermione, I'm just shocked. I really loved her back then, I was in love." It hurts to hear that. "But even then," She sees him, far away in the kitchen, he's looking directly at her, a smile on his face, "I knew I would always belong to someone else. I'm yours, Hermione. All yours."

She smiles at him. He comes back with the wine and sits by her side, embracing her. He kisses her briefly. Then her attention goes back to Draco and Ginny, he's tense and the red haired is still furious.

"So," Ron breaks the silence. "The mission."

"Right," Hermione says, "Jack called me to his office today to show me all the details of the mission. He has a lot of information. I asked him how he got all of them and he said Daisy was the one responsible." Harry frowns. "I tried stopping the mission from happening." She looks pointedly at Draco. "But he would be suspicious if I insisted. He said that after all I should be the first one to support it since I was so worried about Harry."

"Asshole. It's Marga's island, isn't it?" Harry asks.

"I don't really know. But…" She sighs. "It's a long mission. He's doing it on purpose."

"How long?" Ginny asks.

"At least a month."

Draco swears, Ginny too. Harry looks at Hermione, holding her closer. "I don't want to be another month away from you." And she totally agrees with him.

"When I'm not with you I feel like a part of me is missing." She says.

"But why?" Ron asks.

"He wants to separate us." Harry answers.

"Well… he can try." Hermione kisses him. "Never again."

"Never."

"But if he wants that… he can't be the wicked one." Luna says. All heads turn to her. "Because… the prophecy said that the wicked one can only end you if you stay together. Right?" She asks. But before they can think about what she said, Luna continues, "Or he wants you to think that, and maybe he's already planning how to destroy you… this mission being part of it." She looks at Ron, her blue eyes worried. "If it's the case he somehow already suspects we're all here, talking about him."

The note comes back to Hermione's mind. 'I see you'. Why have I discarded Jack so easily? She feels strange. Like there's something wrong, something she can't see clearly, but it's there. In front of her. What is it? What? She's anxious, it's getting harder to breathe and Harry shifts by her side, an alarmed look on his face.

"Love? What's wrong?"

She can feel his worry, but she can't answer him because her mind is almost there, it's leading her somewhere, to something… She closes her eyes aware that they're all watching her. She relives moments with Jack, there's something forgotten, something she missed. She tries pressing it, the memory or whatever. Her head leans back, she gasps, she can tell there's blood running from her nose.

"HERMIONE!" Harry is calling her, his voice desperate, but she can't answer, she needs to understand. What? Harry holds her hands firmly and she immediately knows. She opens her eyes and gets up in a swift movement, extending her left hand in front of her. Her eyes widen. The ring. It isn't on her finger right now, but- She curses, trying to remember, she knows something about the ring, something… she groans, frustrated. They're all on their feet, around her, worried. She looks at Harry. His nose is bleeding. Why? She presses her fingers against hers and there's blood there too. He puts his hand on her cheek. "What is it? I can feel it too."

She shakes her head and takes a deep breath. Trying to calm herself and the others down. "I think-" her voice comes out strange, weak, "I think Jack obliviated me."

"I'm going to kill this guy, right now, I don't even care." Harry is ready to flee and Hermione squeezes his arm.

"Harry, please, it won't help us." She sits down and they all follow her. She conjures a tissue and cleans the blood from her nose and then from Harry's. Everyone is tense and waiting. "I think I was trying to remember, but I couldn't reach an exact memory, just… the ring."

"The ring he gave you?" Harry asks. She notices how he doesn't want to say the 'engagement' ring.

"Yes. It has something to do with it." She closes her eyes, sighing. "Shit." Her head is throbbing.

"What were we talking about when it started?" Luna asks.

"I-" Jack as a threat. The note. Why she dismissed it being from him so easily and- "Merlin." She whispers.

"What? What is it?" Ron asks anxiously.

"I think the ring is enchanted." She looks at Harry. His face is so closed off, so angry. She presses her hand against his jaw.

"Enchanted how?" Ginny asks.

Hermione shakes her head, "I don't know!" She shakes her hands a little frustrated.

"Do you think you found out something about him or the ring?"

"I don't know. Could be anything." She gets up, walking back and forth, bitting on her thumb's nail, a habit she long stopped. Or not.

Harry grunts and says. "I can help you remember." Draco opens his mouth. They all stare at him.

"How?" Draco asks.

"I know how to manipulate magic… in a way that they don't teach at Hogwarts."

"Okay, why don't you look more excited about it?" Hermione asks.

"Because… it's dangerous and I need time to prepare, but I'm fucking leaving the day after tomorrow for this stupid mission."

Hermione takes another deep breath. "Fine. I won't wear the ring anymore. I'll say I lost it and meanwhile I'll try to discover if it's really enchanted."

"I don't think he's going to buy it! What if he suspects you?" Hermione can sense his emotions, Harry is mad that he can't protect her, that right now there's nothing he can do. That he can't just deal with Jack.

"He won't." She says even if she's sure that Jack will. "I'll be fine, Harry." She takes his hands and touches his forehead with hers. She notices the others averting their eyes, sensing their intimate moment. "Look at me." He does and she can see all his conflicted emotions there.

"We'll overcome this, love." She says to him. "Together."

He nods a little and kisses her. "It just drives me crazy that I can't be with you, that I can't protect you. What if he touches you, what if he hurts you?"

He's really shaken. She notices he's about to cry, a little pout on his mouth. Still holding his hand she turns to the others. "I think we can talk more tomorrow. It's pretty late already and we need to get some sleep."

"Hermione, won't Jack find it strange that you're spending your nights away like this?" Ginny asks, her face showing concern.

"We're engaged, but we're barely a couple… it's surprising how appearances can be deceiving." She sighs. "So, yeah, he won't mind or find it strange." She glances at Harry. He's quiet, squeezing her hand and staring at the floor. "I think we should go…" He nods. "The ring is at the Manor, isn't it?" She asks him getting another confirmation. "I need to go home to see if everything is fine but… can I sleep with you?" She feels shy, which is dumb.

"Of course." He smiles a little. A sexy smile. She can't help feeling giddy.

They say goodbye to the others and each apparates away to their own house, a promise to reunite at Harry's later.

Draco, Ginny, Luna and Ron are too alert to sleep, so they stay in the kitchen, drinking and chatting, recounting the day and after a while debating everything Harry and Hermione told them.

"It's absurd how they keep everything for themselves. I would never be able to do it. I mean I go around announcing my life to anyone who wants to hear about it." Ron says and they laugh.

"Yeah, Draco seems pretty good at hiding things too." Ginny's voice is cold.

"Love, I said I'm sorry." He tries taking her hand above the isle, but she recoils it, grabbing her glass. Draco shakes his head a little, sighing.

Luna, unaware of the moment says, "Oh, the documents I found about their connection!" Her tone indicates that she's remembering something. "I have to give them to Hermione."

"Yeah, about that, are we ignoring the fact that Harry's nose also bled?" Draco asks.

"Yes!" Luna seems excited about the topic. "It has to do with their bond. It's like something connects them on all levels. But I think it's mostly magical. And they said they can feel what the other is feeling."

"But not like this, right?" Ron asks. "Harry seemed surprised that his nose was bleeding too."

They don't talk for a moment, sipping on their drinks. And then Ginny, with a smirk, says, "You heard her asking him if the ring was at the Manor, right?" They nod, laughing a little. "And we didn't even interfere!" She looks up, not believing. "Thank you, Merlin."

"The girls will be sad they won't get a chance to put their plan into action." Draco remembers. "I really loved that plan."

"I think they'll be just fine since their parents are back together." Ron says and stops his glass midway to his mouth, "They are, right?"

"In the spiritual and magical sense of it I think they never really split." Luna says.

"Aren't you a romantic." Ron kisses her.

"I'm serious, Ron." He raises his eyebrows. "This connection, this bond between them is some kind of magic that we don't fully understand…" She looks anxious.

"What is it?" Ron asks her. Draco and Ginny lean forward to pay attention to what she's about to say.

"I had a vision." She shakes her head. "About them."

"Oh, no." Ginny says.

"I didn't say anything because… I know Hermione doesn't like Divination and they're already so tense. They have so much to worry about."

"It's fine, Luna." Draco says. "Do you want to tell us about it?"

Ron puts his arm around her shoulder and she gratefully looks at him. It's been a while since she had a vision. After the Burrow when she told him that something was near and he ignored her, he promised himself he wouldn't do that again.

She exhales, bracing herself. "It was dark and cold. There was no life, no laughter, no joy. Just destruction and sorrow. I saw-" she swallows, "Laura and Lily." Ginny gasps. "They were crying, but it wasn't a cry you see everyday… It was pure pain, pure desolation. They were wailing. There was a casket." She wipes away a few tears. The others aren't even breathing, waiting for her to continue. "Harry was dead." Ron tightens his grip around her. "And Hermione was so lost, so profoundly hurt that she didn't recognize anyone, she was there but it was like her soul was dead. Buried with him."

There's a loud silence after her words. Luna sighs.

"Of course these visions aren't literal, they just give me an idea of something… this one clearly foresees bad things happening."

Draco finishes his wine and says:

"Well, I guess we have to do our best to avoid that. I won't let any of my friends, of my chosen family, die. The same way I know you won't either."

Ginny takes his hand and they all agree.

And then Hermione's patronus comes fast into the kitchen, the otter circles them two times, disappearing next. Draco is already turning to Ginny, "Owl your mother to take care of Aria. This is mine and Hermione's code for 'help'. I'm apparating at her house, you coming?" He asks the others and they all nod.

Animus Mansion

She walks inside the foyer, everything is quiet. The house is just a shell without the girls. As she ascends to her bedroom, all she can think about is the memory that Jack took from her. It has something to do with the ring. Or maybe not, maybe the ring just remembers me about Jack… She hates both scenarios.

She wished things were easier, she wished she had gone after Harry earlier. She accused him of not fighting for them, but she knows she could have done more herself. But she was so hurt… and there's nothing she can do now to change the way life happened.

She fears who Jack might really be. She did an extensive investigation on him, but he has an impeccable facade. She never met his parents because they died a few years ago, just before they met and there's no one else in his family. That never alarmed her, now however…

She enters her room and stops dead on her tracks. There's a message on one of the walls. Written in blood. She doesn't move. Her eyes scan the place fast. She's afraid to use her wand. The message screams at her: I'm coming for you.

She finally takes out her wand and performs a revelio. The house is empty and that gives her a chill. Her wards are very unique and very strong. The only person allowed inside that could have written it is Jack. She closes her eyes frustrated. She had no time on her entire day to examine the note, to study the blood, to try to find some answers. She's sure she will find that it's the same blood on the wall. It isn't someone trying to gain some fame. Harry said the note could be from anyone, even some reporter that was lurking her house and saw them. But this second warning tells her this theory is far away from the truth. She knows it's the wicked one.

And her skin prickles to imagine that Jack, the man she once loved, the man she really considered marrying, is someone that wants to harm her and Harry. And our daughters. Just the thought of him hurting Laura and Lily gives her a murderous fury. If he even dares coming near them…

She walks to the wall and raises her wand. She can't trace the source of the blood. It's not a spell, not really. It's like someone used the blood as paint to write on the wall. The message is above her bed and… it feels intimate. She swallows hard. It appears that the moment she and Harry decided to be together, to fight for their happiness, they automatically set the prophecy into motion. Or better yet, the last part of the prophecy.

The moment she decides to apparate to the Manor, a pain so strong hits her she bends down on the floor. Her vision is doubled and she can't see in front of her, it's like she's watching through someone else's eyes. She sees the floor of her room and at the same time her engagement ring. A hand is holding it, Harry's. She screams, her chest burns, it's like she's being branded. She lifts her blouse and just above her heart, before her own blurry eyes she sees a little lightening bolt shaped scar appearing. Exactly like Harry's.

The scar starts bleeding and she immediately knows that Harry is feeling it too. Or is it him that was feeling it first and she felt after? She can't be sure. She does her best not to pass out, breathing deeply and gritting her teeth to deal with the pain. She needs to get to him. She knows it's the only option. Shaking she retrieves her wand that flew from her hand when she pressed her hand against her heart.

With all her mighty she apparates inside the Manor.

Potter Manor

He grabs himself some water while he waits for Hermione. He can't stop smiling. He feels lighter after telling their friends everything. It's the first time since he heard the prophecy that he's hopeful of finding a way to stop it. But the main reason of his silly smile is Hermione wanting to spend the night with him. He's excited to sleep with her in his arms, to hold her and protect her.

He walks inside his room. The bed is still a mess, a clear reminder of what they did. If it's possible his smile widens. Then his eyes go to the nightstand. Her ring is there. That fucking asshole. He can't put into words how much he hates Jack. Maybe I can find something before she gets here. With his left hand he takes the ring and puts it on the palm of his right hand. He scrunches his nose, like the mere action of holding the ring is vile, like its mere existence is an absurd. The fact that she actually accept his proposal still bothers Harry.

He closes his eyes, concentrating on the object on his hand. Inside his mind he goes back in time in reverse, the ring has its own memory, so it is enchanted. First he sees Hermione taking off the ring and putting it on the nightstand, then he goes back further, his mind racing with images of her doing her things, going through her day wearing this piece of metal. Them at her foyer last night. She was wearing it. He perceives something different, like a glow. He goes faster on the memories. He doesn't stop on any of them, he's searching for something specific. He wants to know the source of the ring. He wants to find the type of spell it holds. It's all a blur inside his mind eye. Then he stops.

It's Jack holding the ring, extending it towards Hermione, asking her to marry him. I don't want to see that. He's close to the moment Jack got the ring. Just a little further. Then he hits a wall. His vision blurs and he's seeing double. A floor. It's like he's at two places at the same time.

And the wall he just hit is enormous and magical. Only one thought consume him instantly. Voldemort.

He screams. Kneeling and releasing the ring, his right hand going straight to his forehead. To his scar. He's shaking, the pain is unbelievable and he feels himself slipping away. The scar is bleeding. There's blood everywhere. On his hand, on his face. He's shaking, he has no control over his body anymore and he feels himself hitting the floor, like he's having a seizure. The last thing he's aware is Hermione's presence. He suddenly knows she's there.

"HARRY!"

Then the darkness takes him.
