Chapter 20: Save the World with Love
Review Replies
Riot Bringer: Well i can't say for others but i personally like this story, the plot is great and the grammar is pretty good so i see nothing but a great story by a couple of hard working mates, so thank you for your hard work.
ThermalsniperN7: Thank you.
Dragon Emperor0: You have no idea how much this makes us, and especially me personally, feel better. I've always been confident in what I've been writing. Now I feel like my confidence wasn't misplaced.
Stronghammer474: so I accidentally clicked on the first op to start the thing and I thought that the whole thing was gonna be like that before I realized I was on the wrong chapter, I was pleasantly surprised.
Dragon Emperor0: Don't worry. Happens to the best of us. :)
ThermalsniperN7: Plus, pleasant surprises are nice when they happen, aren't they?
LucklessBlock86: I really enjoy this story. Sometimes I get confused, but that's just because I haven't seen 7 Deadly Sins in awhile. Don't let the haters get you down, this story is good.
Dragon Emperor0: Glad to hear it. And thanks for your kind words. And please, next time you feel confused, don't hesitate to drop a review saying what confused you. Or shoot us a PM. We'd be happy to explain anything you need to the best of our abilities.
ThermalsniperN7: He said it best.
Dextheronin: I like this story.
Dragon Emperor0: Glad to hear it.
AbyssDragonslayer777: I personally like this story and can't wait for new chapters. Screw all these haters, please don't let them get to you.
Dragon Emperor0: Thank you. And don't worry, from now on, that's exactly what we're gonna do. Haters be damned.
ThermalsniperN7: Damn right.
Kakarifers: I dropped this story way back, but curiosity got the better of me on looking at the reviews to see what others had thought about the story. Honestly, I think you two really need to work on yourselves some as well. You deem others name-calling and the like to be harassment but two wrongs don't make a right at all. You're doing the same exact thing here by naming-and-shaming and calling users assholes. I quote you: "You just lost all credibility when you resorted to personal attacks." What you're doing when you reply to negative reviews in these chapters like this are the same exact thing. Instead of responding in a professional manner you're lashing back out at them, calling their review irrelevant, etc. People can read between the lines on negative reviews/trolls: they know what the author really thinks about them, but it speaks volumes of your maturity when you respond like you two have been. I actually did glance back at a previous chapter to see if things had improved at all - to see if you'd taken any criticism from others into account. Honestly, it seems you haven't at all. Chapters are lacking depth and continuity. There's no scenic descriptions or details to keep the reader engaged: just snippets of dialogue between characters. It makes things dry and one-dimensional. Think back on books you've read in the past: did they follow this kind of format? I also see the opening is still around. While you have your artistic liberties with your stories it seems to be a problem to users as well: it detracts from the story more than it adds. When I went back to the previous chapter and finally scrolled through the opening snippet, a sixth of the chapter had already gone to it. Honestly it feels like it's there to inflate the word count of each chapter at this point. If readers are frustrated with it, and you're frustrated with trying to format a page break for it - why bother including it at all? What does it add to the story? I stand by my previous review: this is a text medium, not a visual one like anime. All this said: I stand by the fact that you're free to do as you wish, but I felt the need to point out that you're being very hypocritical with your actions against your readers. I get that negative reviews can be frustrating, but there are other methods in which you can address them without stooping to their level. Calling out a reviewer directly by name and asking your other reviewers to pick sides on it? Yeah... Just no. Seems witch hunt-y to me honestly. You have other methods available to you besides a public name-and-shame. It's unneeded drama.
Dragon Emperor0: Well news flash pal, I removed all the openings except the sections that are just the openings by themselves. And my stress levels have been through the roof because of the toxicity I've been getting. Happy now? And we were calling out the people who crossed the line, we weren't naming and shaming. We aren't obligated to sit there and take this bullshit.
ThermalsniperN7: If, and more than likely when, I decide to put openings in some of my stories, don't expect me to listen to complaints about them.
Dragon Emperor0: And another thing, the reason why there isn't a lot of "scenic descriptions or details to keep the reader engaged" as you called it. Is because this is a fanfic. Most people who read it probably already know the show and it's backgrounds so we don't really see the need to describe it every time. It's not "one dimensional" it's assuming our readers aren't invalids who can't imagine things in their heads of media they've seen before. It's called not holding a person's hand.
LuisAU: Harassment sucks but you can still sometimes find valuable criticism if you ignore the hate. This chapter was kinda bad and that sucks because I've enjoyed the story otherwise it just feels weird.
ThermalsniperN7: I'll admit that it's true that valuable criticism can be found, but sometimes it's actually hard to see it. All that hate can cause stress that blinds us to it, and in turn, causes us to make mistakes.
Dragon Emperor0: Yeah. And as for the Bonus chapter… Eh, can't win 'em all.
ThermalsniperN7: True.
XxSoulMasterXx: I Hate that there are people like that out there. But nevertheless, I happen to enjoy your stories and frankly don't care what other people think. Really the only options there are ignoring them or blocking them.
Dragon Emperor0: Thank you. And you are 100% right.
ThermalsniperN7: What he said.
SuperShadic2002: You're right. People are assholes at times. Just do what I do and ignore them, and focus on the people who enjoy what you do. And if they can't learn to leave you alone, then ignore them too. They'll get the idea after a while. That being said, good work on the story, you two, and keep up the good work.
Dragon Emperor0: Glad you think so. And I believe you're right about only focusing on the good people. Because in the words of Moses Mimonatese: "I'd rather speak with one intelligent man than a thousand fools". Not to call the actual good critics fools, but I just thought it was an appropriate quote.
ThermalsniperN7: That's a pretty good one, too.
-UA faculty lounge-
In the faculty lounge of UA, All Might, Midnight and Cementoss were watching a news documentary on the former. It was a retrospective of the hero's start as a hero while training in America.
"Ah, seeing this really takes me back." The blonde sighed.
"Oh? And how many decades was that, exactly?" Midnight questioned. The man just coughed in response. "Real subtle way of dodging the question." She said flatly.
"I know that costume, it's from your young age!" Cementos said as he recognized the costume the young symbol of peace was wearing in the documentary.
"That's a good eye." Midnight noted.
"Well, I have been a fan of All Might ever since I was a little kid." The cement hero chuckled.
"Aren't you an inspiration?" The R-rated heroine chuckled before All Might went buff.
"No! Not at all!" He exclaimed.
'Could He be anymore smug?' The woman thought as All Might's computer went off.
"An email is here! An email is here!" It exclaimed.
"It's time for the special classes to begin." Aizawa said as he entered the room.
"I have a few notes about my costume." Midnight states.
"No need to worry, everything is ready." Cementos added as All Might looked at his computer.
"Let's go teach those wannabe pros a thing or two about hero-ing." The blonde said.

Meanwhile in the classroom, before Aizawa arrived, Izuku was covering the right side of his neck with his hand, while Ochako was doing the same to her left. Why? Because both of them still had very large hickies on their necks from the night that they had spent having sex.
Bakugo glanced at them and wondered what was up. They'd been acting like that since they arrived, and he was confused. It was like they…
'If they got together, then that's awesome.' He thought with a shrug, not realizing they were at third base. Taida meanwhile knew what they were hiding but was just as clueless as Bakugo as to how far they got.
Ignorance is bliss, as the saying goes. It was at this point that Aizawa entered the classroom. "Alright students, today we'll be having a special class that will test you situational awareness, intel gathering and discretion." He told them.
"How's this gonna play out?" Izuku asked.
"You'll have a set of special instructors for this exercise." The man said as All Might walked in behind them.
"I am here sneaking in through the back door!" The hero exclaimed.
"Whoa! All Might's helping?!" Taida yelped in excitement.
"Nice." Izuku smirked, uncovering his neck by mistake.
"He's not the only one, Cementos, Midnight and Present Mic will be helping as well." Aizawa explained. "Now go to training ground Beta, we'll start there."
(Later)
After everyone got to the training ground, Aizawa explained that their exercise was a hostage situation in a jewelry store. With basically every possible variable being unknown.
As of right now, the kids were trying to figure out a plan to figure out everything they needed before they decided to move forward with an attack plan.
"Hey sis, think you can get up to the window?" The Grizzly Sin asked his sister.
"By myself?" The girl asked.
"We'll need you to tell us what's in there while I sneak into the building using Zero Sign." The immortal told her before turning to Taida. "Speaking of, King, can you call Oslo here for me?" He asked.
"On it." He nodded before stopping. "Wait, what do you need him for?" He asked.
"He has the ability to transport anyone who he puts in his mouth to another place, right? I'll have him do it with the hostages while you guys distract the villains." The Fox Sin stated.
"Um, can the dog actually do that for people?" Iida asked.
"Oh yeah, he can alright. Oslo's done it to us plenty of times." Ochako explained with Taida nodding in agreement.
"Well then do it, we're wasting time." Bakugo told them as Ochako floated to the roof and King whistled, causing a purple portal to appear and a dog to come out of it.
The dog was rather small, being about the same size as a medium sized English bulldog with the same kind of stocky build like one, but had features of a Tosa and a Shikoku dog, his fur was green with purple spots and he had knife-like teeth. As well as three lines for eyes.
"Good boy Oslo." The fairy king grinned.
"Is there a particular reason why you never introduced us to your little friend?" Shoto asked as he dialed the villain so he could distract him long enough for them to get ready.
"His favorite food is Crow…" Taida chuckled nervously with a sweat drop, making them realize that he thought that the pup would mistake Tokoyami for food.
"That makes sense…" Izuku muttered. He then spotted his girlfriend holding up her hands, one finger on her right and three on her left. One villain and the hostages. "One villain, three hostages. Got it." He nodded before gesturing for her to come back. "Okay Oslo, I'm gonna sneak around back myself. What I need you to do is transport Ochako into the store behind All Might and transport the hostages out here before I get there. Think you can do that, bud?" He asked the hound. He got a single bark in reply that meant 'yes.'
"Wait, is there even a back entrance?" Iida asked.
"All these buildings have back entrances, I saw it when I was taking the entrance exam." The green haired boy responded as Uraraka returned. "Okay Oslo, you're up!" He told the dog, causing it to gain a wicked grin before it chuckled and grew to an immense size and suddenly glomped Ochako into his mouth.
Iida looked like he wanted to freak out while Shoto had wide eyes, Tsu looked like she was going to faint, and Bakugo… he just didn't care. In fact, he seemed irritated at the lack of action.
However, as Oslo tried to swallow Uraraka entirely, he unfortunately had to stop when her heart-shaped rear became stuck. He wasn't going to risk choking or drawing anymore attention.
"Oh no…" She groaned in dismay. "Can I get some help here, Deku? I'm stuck." She said quietly. Izuku looked sideways with his eyes as he noticed that Taida was glaring at him the entire time.
"I'm never gonna hear the end of this." He groaned as he grabbed his girlfriend's rear firmly, getting a yelp from her before pushing her all the way in, allowing Oslo to close his mouth and teleport away. Izuku sighed as he turned to his classmates and teacher. "Don't you say a word." He warned.
"My lips are sealed." Aizawa nodded.
"Um… so are mine." Tenya replied awkwardly.
"If anyone asks, I saw nothing." Shoto nodded.
"Don't worry, I won't talk." Katsuki said with a wave of his hand.
"Ribbit." Tsu nodded.
"… Pervert." King stated before he got smacked in the back of the head by the immortal.
"I'm outta here." Izuku said as he made several grasping motions. "Zero Sign." He said as he became invisible to All Might who was in the window and walked around back, finding Ochako and Oslo waiting for him. "Ready?" He asked them.
"Ready." The brunette nodded.
"Woof!" The hound barked. Oslo then teleported inside and started moving the hostages as quietly as he could while Ochako started untying them. Once they were out of the way, Izuku then popped his neck and flexed his hand before he released a 10% Detroit Smash into the door and ran inside… only to be greeted by something that horrified him.
All Might laid on the ground… Dead, with a bloodied knife on the ground nearby.
"What the fuck…?" He whispered as his hands trembled. Uraraka was quick to run into the room and to his side, and saw what had him so shocked.
"Oh no…" She gasped, before they ran to the door and threw it open. "Everyone! Inside! Now!" She yelled. The rest of their classmates rushed into the building and froze at the sight that greeted them.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" The Pomeranian bomber shouted with wide eyes.
"What just happened?!" Everyone else gasped.
(Later)
After bringing the hostages back inside for questioning, Shoto was quick to freeze All Might to the floor, as he moved when Tsu checked him. This was for the unlikely case that his being a pretend corpse was just an act for his villain persona.
Currently the kids were all getting statements from Cementos, Present Mic and Midnight. Cementos was an employee of the store who was tied up after handing over the jewels, Mic was a customer who was there at the start of the robbery, and Midnight got there as it was going on.
After several minutes of deliberation. The kids were stumped. "Okay so there's definitely no way that the killer could be a hostage, or another villain." King noted. "They were tied up and All Might was working alone, so that means either this was an accident with his own weapon in his attempt to flee, or…" He said before trailing off.
"It was suicide." Izuku stated coldly, his expression as hard and as cold as stone. The sight made everyone shiver in discomfort.
"Um, care to explain, Midoriya?" The speedster of the group requested with a gulp.
"Think about it, no other suspects save the hostages. No other villains in the area, and there's only two pieces of evidence on the murder weapon: All Might's fingerprints and blood." The immortal stated.
"But how can you be so sure? Like King said, it could be an accident." Shoto chimed in.
"Don't argue with him, Icy-Hot." Katsuki stated. "He knows what he's talking about."
"I've taken my own life more times than any of us are probably able to count ever since I was in grade school, Todoroki." The sin of greed stated. "So I know a suicide when I see one." He added.
"But that still doesn't explain the motive." Tsu said, causing everyone to become thoughtful.
"He obviously had a history with someone in the store." Izuku said, looking at the hostages.
"Yes, question is, who?" Iida nodded.
"Alright you three, start flapping your gums before I start cracking skulls!" Bakugo growled impatiently.
"Bakugo, no! Torture won't help here! Ribbit!" Tsu exclaimed.
"Who said anything about torture?!" The blonde snapped.
"Let me be the first to say that I never knew that man." Cementos stated.
"Neither have I, yo! What a coincidence!" Mic added dramatically.
"Then that leaves you, Midnight." Shoto said as he looked at the woman, who shuffled nervously as part of her act. This made Izuku's features darken even more as King and Uraraka tried to comfort him.
"So does that mean that… this was…?" Ochako gasped.
"A crime of passion, fuck me." The boy groaned as he sat down, face in his hands. "This is bringing way too many bad memories back to the surface." He added with an aggravated whine. "Somebody please kill me…" He groaned.
"I wish I could." Bakugo muttered, getting an elbow to the ribs from Taida. Though both of them clearly understood what Izuku was going through.
"Very good, you six." Aizawa said as he stuck a hand out to help Izuku up. "You passed the test, even managed to avoid the planned pitfall we set in." He added. "Midoriya, your deductions were something that was scripted. We knew you'd be able to identify it as a suicide because of your experience." He continued before he looked slightly uncomfortable. "Though some of the faculty found that a little morbid." He admitted.
"Pitfall? What pitfall?" King questioned, Oslo cocking his head to the side. Though the sound of struggling soon caused them to see that All Might was still supposed to be alive.
"Oh, I get it." Katsuki spoke up. "While our backs were turned, All Might would bolt on us, but he couldn't since Icy-Hot froze him to the ground." He deduced.
"Correct." The erasure hero nodded, but turned to Izuku as he heard the sound of his fists clenching.
"That was a dirty trick, Mr. Aizawa…" The Sin of Greed growled, his knuckles turning white from how hard he was clenching his fists. He looked like he was ready to slug someone. Aizawa knew he was on dangerous ground and had to choose his words carefully.
"Midoriya, listen. I swear I had no idea this would bring up bad memories on your part. And neither did the faculty." He explained in a placating tone. "If we had, then another method would have been chosen." He added. "This just seemed like the most rational choice at the time."
Izuku was silent as he stormed up to his teacher and reeled his arm back, making the man embrace for impact… before All Might dashed in and took the blow instead, and the blowback sent both heroes flying out of the building and crashing into another building across the street.
Everyone was silent as they looked at the scene with wide eyes. Izuku had an angry snarl on his face as he glared at the direction the two were sent. He remained silent as he stormed off elsewhere.
"Uh, think we should go after him?" Taida asked.
"Ribbit, I don't know King, that seems like a bad idea." Tsu replied nervously.
"He looked about as mad as I was when I faced Sero in the Sports Festival…" Shoto noted, empathetic of his friend's feelings.
"And me when I found out what happened to my brother." Iida nodded before turning to Katsuki and Ochako. "Uraraka, Bakugo, what do you think?" He asked.
"I think it would be for the best if we gave Deku some alone time so he can cool off." The pink cheeked teen replied.
"You guys can go up to him, I'd rather not get slugged and have to kill that nerd for the umpteenth time today…" The blondie said as he started walking away.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile after helping Aizawa out of the rubble, All Might went into the faculty lounge and started reading his email. It was from the daughter of his friend, David Shield, Melissa.
"Huh, haven't heard from her in a while." The man mused. Curious, he opened up the email and read its contents. "So I-Expo is coming soon, and Melissa wants to surprise her dad by inviting me there… Heh, Dave, I wouldn't mind seeing him again. Especially after all this time." He nodded. He then noticed that he could bring a plus one. "I know just who to bring." He grinned to himself as his almost completely non-atrophied thumb rubbed a picture of him and Izuku.
(Later)
Izuku sighed as he walked home alone, rubbing the mark on his cheek left over from when Ochako gave him a cheer up kiss. He was still pissed about earlier, but wasn't as much as before.
"Haha! I am here! Waiting to ambush Young Midoriya on his walk home from UA!" All Might exclaimed as he booked it in front of his student, suitcase in tow. "Hi!" He said as he stood there.
"I'm literally not in the mood after the shit you pulled earlier." The immortal told him with a twitching eyebrow.
"I recall." The Symbol of Peace nodded before deflating. "So, as a way of saying sorry in a way, I'm taking you with me to I-Island." He added, causing his student to do a double take.
"Wait, seriously?!" The Fox Sin gasped. "Then that must mean you have tickets to I-expo!" He added.
"Yes, there are several rules for the trade that you need to learn while you're there so be prepared." The symbol of peace said, before he noticed the lip mark on his pupil's cheek. "... Where'd you get the kiss?" He asked.
"Not important." Izuku deflected, trying to sidestep the question. Though he did so a little too quickly, cluing his mentor in that he had a girlfriend.
"Uh huh." The No. 1 hero said, not believing his student's words for a moment. "Anyway, go pack your stuff. We can't keep the plane waiting." He said, startling the Fox Sin.
"Wait, we're leaving now?!" He yelped.
"Yes! Now go! Get moving!" All Might exclaimed.
"Okay!" The boy nodded as he ran towards his house to get packed.
I-Island, here he comes.
Dragon Emperor0: And there you have it folks, this is the first chapter before we officially enter the big movie chapter. And personally I can't wait. It's gonna be epic.
ThermalsniperN7: This is the first time I'm covering a movie for a story like this, as far as I can recall. If my hunch is right… It's probably gonna wear my fingers out.
Dragon Emperor0: Not if we space it out correctly throughout the week. Also, to all of you who were begging me to remove the opening from every single chapter. Congratulations. You got your wish, and I'm feeling absolutely mentally drained and on edge because of all the insults I've been getting. Great work guys, this was supposed to be my way of escaping stress, not getting it.
ThermalsniperN7: Seriously, insulting someone just for how they write? Real mature. News flash: there are other authors that probably put openings in their chapters, too. Unbelievable.
Dragon Emperor0: Whatever happened to respecting boundaries and people's mental health?… In other news, to all the people who have been sending me comforting messages and reassuring reviews, thank you. You have no idea how much it means to me to feel like someone out there actually gives a damn about me. Thank you, a thousand times, thank you.
ThermalsniperN7: Yeah. Good on you. Anyway, see you guys in the movie arc!
