"Man, I could really use a drink."
Lars yawned as sat in the courtyard of the Butterfly Castle, the rest of the King's Crew sitting around him. They had just gotten back from a mission dealing with some rebels harassing a local village. It was honestly something that the Guard probably could have dealt with themselves, but he never turned down a mission. Besides, it was good for the people to see him and the others out on the front lines fighting for them.
Dagon flew up next to him, an eager look on his face. "Hey, can we hit up that one near the Screaming Hollows?" he asked excitedly.
Pavo smirked. "Are you asking to go there because it's one of the few places that serves giantslayer, or because there's a chance we'll run into Hikaru there?" he asked.
"If you're thinking that I'm gonna say no and get embarrassed then think again! You're damn right I wanna go to see Hikaru!" the half-breed said, punching his fists into his palms. "I mean, it's a ways out, but she's worth the trip!"
"She really does have you wrapped around her fingers…"
Raza hummed. "Well, I do think they have some pretty good tasting ale there. But there's also some pretty rough company there," he said.
"The rough company is part of the fun," Lacerta said chuckling. "I guess we could swing by there and… huh."
"What's wrong?" Pavo asked.
"We're gonna have to hit up that place some other time. I think Nenet just showed up," he said. The rest of the King's Crew all stopped, and Raza in particular stiffened up.
"Ah, yeah. I sense her now," Pavo said.
"Damn it! Why do I have to miss a chance to see Hikaru because of her!" Dagon cursed.
If Nenet was coming to meet up with them, and she most likely was, then they couldn't risk going to that tavern and meeting up with Hikaru. Lacerta's cousin had a pretty distinct dislike of any god outside of the Japanese pantheon, and if she came face to face with Nenet it wouldn't turn out good.
"Whatever. It just means we'll hit up some place closer. It doesn't really notice," Lacerta said, shrugging his shoulders.
"I know that place. Not a bad second choice," Pavo said.
"A terrible one! Damn it! I wanted to see Hikaru!" Dagon snapped.
Raza looked rather nervous. "Y-yeah. Right."
It didn't take long for Nenet to show up, making her way into the courtyard and spotting them almost immediately. "Yo, what's going on you bums!" she called.
"Long time no see kitten. What are you bumping around mewni again for? On another mission from that Hera chick or whatever?" Lacerta asked.
Nenet clicked her tongue. "Well damn, I'm happy to see you too hothead. I'm not here for a mission. Had some time off actually. Just wanted to swing by and see what you knuckleheads were up to," she said.
"Well, we were gonna head to a place where we'd get to see a totally beautiful angel, but then you showed up and ruined that! So thanks!" Dagon yelled. "I can't believe we're passing up a chance to see Hikaru for this furball."
Nenet rolled her eyes. "Oh please. Ain't no angels waiting around for ya ugly ass. And nobody was dragging ya here either," she said. "If you wanna go see whatever girl is crazy enough to spend time time-"
"You take that back! Hikaru isn't crazy! She's the most sane and beautiful and radiant being in all of mewni!" Dagon shouted pointing at her angrily.
Nenet waved him off and looked towards the others. "Whatever. So what were you guys up to? Got a mission to go on or something?" she asked.
"We just got back from one actually. We were going to hit up a nearby tavern and get some drinks," Pavo explained. "You're welcome to join us. It serves giantslayer. As if we were ever going to go to any place that didn't."
Nenet shrugged. "Well, I was hoping to knock some heads, but I guess I'm up for knocking back a few drinks. Let's go," she said. "As long as you guys are buying anyway. I mean, it's about time you pay me back anyways."
Lacerta raised an eyebrow. "Pay you back? For what?"
"For ruining my fucking halloween party!"
"Your what?"
"The-!" Nenet looked at him with an expression of disbelief and annoyance, and then shook her head. "That party I had at my place, where everyone was dressing up. Ya pretty much wrecked the place with everyone else. You and Raza passed me around like a fucking football and spanked my ass raw."
Lacerta got a look of realization, while Raza blushed and looked down embarrassed. "Oh, I remember that!" he said laughing. "Yeah, that was fun."
"Ya dick…" The party honestly hadn't gone that badly. Everyone who talked about it said they'd had a blast. But she still remembered just how badly her butt stung after the whole thing was over. She couldn't sit right for days afterwards.
Lacerta just laughed, and she looked like she was about to smack him until she noticed Raza. Nenet looked up towards the goliath, who had been silent. "What's going on big guy? You've been pretty quiet."
Raza looked down nervously. "Uh… it's nothing. Nothing is going on. I've just… I'm a little tired from the mission and everything," he said, turning around. "I actually think I'm gonna go ahead and skip going to the tavern. I have some work to do in the forge…"
Nenet looked after him, a confused look on her face. This was not the first time Raza had been acting dodgy with her. She had a feeling that she knew what was up, but she hadn't gotten the chance to actually talk to him one on one about it. She was hoping to get the chance today, but he obviously was still trying to avoid her entirely.
"Okay, just to make absolutely sure I'm not tripping, ya guys can tell Raza has been acting weird around me right?" she asked.
Pavo hummed. "Yep. Incredibly so. He even gets nervous every time we even mention you lately. Been like that ever since your… hollow thingy."
"Really? Because I just thought he finally snapped to his senses and was getting sick of you," Dagon said, earning a kick from Nenet that sent him to the ground.
"Shut ya hole stink bug. But yeah, it was definitely the party. I mean the guy can't even look me in the eyes anymore," she said looking annoyed. "I was just trying to help the guy lighten up and have some fun. If I knew he was gonna be like this about it I wouldn't have even bothered."
Lars laid back on the crate he was sitting on. "Well what did you expect? You shouldn't have riled up Raza. You unleashed the beast," he said.
"Well how was I supposed to know that getting him tipsy would awaken a full fucking spanking fetish?!"" she snapped.
Lacerta just chuckled again, and Pavo sighed. "Alcohol, titan instincts, a pretty flirty girl in front of him. How could that possibly have gone wrong?" he asked sarcastically. "Honestly I'm not sure how either of you thought it was a good idea."
Nenet huffed. "Didn't help that hot head egged him on."
"You insulted my spank game. Had to get you back for that," Lars said.
"Didn't say anything that wasn't true…" Nenet muttered.
Lars narrowed his eyes dangerously. "What was that, kitten?"
"Um, I said I should go talk to Raza!"
Raza placed the freshly forged sword away on the shelf, trying not to think about how awkward he had been acting. He knew he probably should have tried to play it more coolly, but he just couldn't help himself. He got flustered just thinking about what had happened. Every time he looked at Nenet he got flashes of what had happened that night.
The kiss, the flirting, the spanking… and the fact that he enjoyed it. "Gah!" He reached up and grabbed his head. "Stop thinking about it! C'mon!"
"You okay big guy?"
"Ah!"
He jumped and then turned around to see Nenet standing before him. "H-how did you get in here?!" he asked, shocked and confused.
"Ya mama let me in," she said, pointing back at the door. "But never mind that. Wanted me and you to have a talk big guy. About how funny ya been acting lately."
Raza flinched. Of course she had noticed. How could she not have. He wasn't exactly being subtle about it, even if he was trying to be. "Oh, that… I was just, uh…"
She held her hand up. "Hold on, let me talk for a sec. I totally get why you've been acting so fucking weird lately… Ya obviously not into me. I mean, you must not have the hots for me if you can't even stand looking at me."
Raza looked confused. "What?"
She continued. "Probably came on too strong too. Asking ya to make that collar and that spanking thing at the Halloween party probably didn't help. Grossed ya out, right? Heard that before. Well, don't ya worry, big guy. I'll back off. Swear to the gods. I'll make sure ya never have to put me over your knee again."
Raza binked, standing in silence for a moment. "Wait, that's not… I mean…"
Nenet tilted her head. She had told him she was going to back off. She thought he'd be happy. Or at least a little relieved. But he looked more panicked than anything. "Dude, what's going on? If you have something to say then-"
"I wasn't grossed out by you. I just… I was nervous because I thought you were mad at me. About the party and everything," he said, rubbing the back of his head. "I got a little out of hand, and I thought you'd still be angry at me."
Nenet looked up at him in silence for a moment, and then smirked. "Seriously? Is that why you've been acting so weird? You've gotta be kidding me big guy," she said.
"I'm serious!"
"I know, I know," Nenet said, still smirking. "But ya got nothing to worry about. I'm not pissed about it or anything… well, I was just a little bit. But I'm honestly more pissed about what happened after. Ya don't spank a girl's ass to Hell then not take her to Heaven after. That's just fucking rude!"
Raza looked a little bit relieved. "Really? Are you sure?"
"Yeah I'm sure. I mean c'mon big guy, do I look like the type of person who doesn't like to get rough?" she asked. "But if you're gonna get all nervous about it then I'll still back off. I mean no point if we're not both having fun, right?"
Raza blushed slightly, looking down at his feet. "Well… I mean, it's not like I don't…" He really just thought was more upset about it, which made him feel guilty for enjoying it.
Nenet smirked. "Oh, that right?" she asked. "Well if that's the case then… wait, that's that?" she asked, looking up at the shelf before him. She stepped forward and then jumped up, hanging off the shelf and looking at the item in question. It was a pile of chains, and a collar. "Holy shit, you actually made it!" she said smiling.
Raza approached her, looking flustered. "W-wait! That's not what you think! It's for something else! Someone else!" he said, waving his hands in front of him.
Nenet gave him a sly smile. "Really? Because it has 'Nenet' engraved on it."
"It's for a different Nenet…"
"Sure it is big guy. Should I try it on for ya?" she asked. Raza looked even more flustered, and she laughed. She felt bad about teasing him earlier, but knowing he really didn't mind too much she figured it was fair game now. She leaned forward and gave him a kiss, which made the goliath go wide eyed.
After the shock wore off however, he kissed her back. After a few moments, Nenet broke the kiss. "Hope you don't mind, big guy. Couldn't help myself."
Raza shook his head. "N-no. I don't mind…"
"Now you wanna see how these chains and collar fit, or what?" she asked, grinning like a cheshire cat at the look on his face. She spun the collar around her finger.
The goliath reached up and rubbed the back of his heat. "I mean… I guess, if you want to," he said.
Nenet snapped the collar around her neck, and then stood up. "So, how do I look?" she asked, striking a pose. "This giving you any ideas?"
Raza simply stared at her. When he had made the collar it had really just been on a whim. He never even for a moment thought he would actually see her wearing it. Not that he was complaining. "You look good," he said.
Nenet knelt down looking ready to pounce, and then did. She jumped at Raza, sending the hulking boy stumbling back. He managed to stay on his feet, and Nenet wrapped her arms around his neck. "Glad you think so, big guy. But just because you put a collar on the beast doesn't mean you tamed it," she said.
Raza blushed as Nenet suddenly bit into his neck. Raza looked surprised, but then hummed. "That feels nice… like a massage."
Nenet pouted. "It's not supposed to be like a massage," she said. She was glad it felt good and all, but she was used to getting a little more of a reaction. His skin was so tough. "Ya gotta have a soft spot somewhere! And I'm gonna find it dammit!"
The girl started chomping away at Raza, who just blushed as he sat back and watched her. He supposed he didn't mind letting her go on for a bit. It wasn't like it really hurt, and it felt kind of nice. Nenet saw the relaxed expression on his face, and then smirked. "Oh, so you like getting nibbled on huh?" she asked.
He looked flustered. "Well, I mean…"
Nenet laughed and then chomped on him again. It might not have been in the way she wanted, but he was flustered so she was counting it as a win. "Just relax, big guy. I got this. Then maybe after I can do a little 'bull riding'."
Raza's face lit up, and he looked towards the door. "Uh, but what about the rest of the guys? Aren't they waiting for you?" he asked.
Nenet shrugged her shoulders. "They can wait. Or leave. I'm sure they'll catch on eventually," she said, leaning down and biting him again.
Raza looked like he was starting to relax a bit. "Yeah, I guess," he said, reaching over to pat her on the head.
Before he could, Nenet bit his finger. Raza grunted back in response, and though it sounded rather aggressive it was more out of surprise than anything else. Nenet smirked at him, her eyes turning sharp. "Watch it, big guy. I didn't say ya could pet me."
Raza hummed. "Guess you didn't…" he said, feeling more happy than annoyed.
He was honestly surprised how readily she was to wake up and see his more primal side. And even willing to bite back at him. She didn't shy away from his wild side, and he kind of appreciated that.
