Chapter:4 Trouble in Forever Fall and Dreams

Forever Fall, a forest that kept its namesake, its a place that looks an eternal autumn with grass even share the color of the leaves.

Goodwitch is leading Team RWBY, JNPR, CRDL, and Vic through the forest to collect some sap with Shori assisting her.

Vic is currently collecting sap with Temari opening gap for him to let the sap drip into his jar.

Vic could look at the jar with a troubled look since he heard that this things are very sweet.

"Why aren't sour sap be found here?" Vic mumbled as Temari could only roll her eyes.

"Because it only happens in winter, and this place is autumn all day long," Shori said as he was keeping an eye on Vic by Seier.

"Dang it," Vic cursed at the information as he looked around.

He saw Team RWBY calmly collecting theirs along with Team JNPR, but Jaune is looking around warily. He then saw Team CRDL going away from Glynda's sight as he saw a box with them.

"Is that feeling still right?" Shori asked.

"I still feel it, but I just don't know what it is," Vic said as he join along with Team JNPR.

Back in Beacon, Seier was in her and Shori's classroom as she and the feminine humanoid were organizing the books on the shelves in the room.

"So Emerald, do you felt something strange with Vic?" Seier asked the humanoid now named Emerald.

"I have master, his aura felt... odd. I feel his aura connecting to two of his partners," She said.

"Which one of them?"

"The amphibian and the dog."

"What do you think it means?"

"I don't know master; but I also felt it with your friend with his first partner, the bird, and the serpent, and also you and I."

"I hope we find out soon," She said as her eyes slightly glow as she gave a smile.

"What did you see?" Emerald asked.

"A bond between man and Pokemon will unlock a new power within the heart of one another, granted that victory will strengthen it or may cause chaos," She said cryptically. "But I believe that we will live through fear without the fear of losing."

"Interesting"

"I can now feel why Vic felt happy, there are something out there that is hidden for it to be revealed," The two then continued organizing as their class finally starts.

Back in Forever Fall, in the sky is Temari, who is scouting ahead on her trainer's orders to keep watch on Team CRDL. She circled around as she saw Team CRDL hiding behind some bushes near Team JNPR and Vic.

Temari landed on a vacant tree to listen in on their conversation by pretending to be a common bird.

Bad idea I know, but she wasn't noticed at all.

When Temari continued watching, Cardin looked at Team JNPR and Vic with hate.

"Come on a little closer," He muttered as he have a jar of sap on his hands.

"Cardin, are you sure that its safe to be separated with the group?" Russel asked his leader.

"I thought you want to get back at the brat," Cardin said.

"We all do, but are we even safe here. I think something is watching us," Sky said as he looked around.

"Don't worry. This will be quick," Cardin assured as he waited more and happily saw Team JNPR and Vic coming closer, so he reeled back his arm as he wait for the opportunity to throw it.

Temari doesn't want any of that as she gave out a loud cry as it startled Cardin which made him threw the jar upwards and crashed beside him

"Where did that come from?!" Cardin demanded as he looked around till he looked behind to see a bush rustling. "Who's there?!"

He got his answer with a bear Grimm also known as an Ursa as it looked at the now scared all-guys team.

Cardin's three team members began to run as he tried as well, but he was pin down by the Ursa.

He screamed in fear of it eating him, but was shock to see its head being decapitated.

He saw Temari on the headless body as she glared at Cardin for being worthless.

They then heard the bushes rustling, and more Ursas came out to hunt.

Temari let out a cry as she spread out her wings to intimidate them.

"That's nice," Vic muttered as he chew on a sour gum that he brought with him.

"I still don't understand how you handle those things. I thought kids like sweets?" Shori said.

"Yeah, not a lot of people even like sour candy," Jaune said.

"I have a different taste for candy," Vic said.

"Can we move on to Vic's candy problem?" Pyrrha asked.

"Hey!" Vic shouted at her as he pout.

They continued walking till they join Team RWBY as they talk any teenagers would know as they wondered around.

Then three members of Team CRDL came out of the woods with frightened faces.

"There's a huge Ursa!" Russel shouted as he continued to run, only for Yang to stop him.

"Where?" She asked in urgency, seeing as their leader was missing. Russel pointed back to the woods with a shaky hand,

"Back there, and it got Cardin!" Russel shouted as he ran past them.

"Well some action might be nice," Vic said as he grabbed his staff.

"Say we haven't know what you call your weapon," Yang said as she and everyone got their respective weapons, except for Shori.

"If you tell me yours," Vic said.

"Mine is Crescent Rose," Ruby said.

"Myrtenaster," Weiss said.

"Gambol Shroud," Blake said.

"Ember Celica," Yang said.

"Crocea Mors," Jaune said.

"Magnhild," Nora said.

"Miló and Akoúo," Pyrrha said.

"Storm Flower," Ren said.

"Nice to meet you all, and as I am honoring my words, my weapon's name is Sol Valor," Vic said as they ran to the woods.

Temari continued to use Wing Attack on the incoming group of Ursas as she tried to divert their attention to Cardin to her.

"Swel!" She cut one of the Ursa's leg as she went to the others and cut them in different points.

"Charge!" She then smiled as she saw her trainer and his friends charging at the Ursas as they completely demolished them.

"Well ain't that easy," Vic said as he was slightly exhausted.

"Now I know why you guys have weapons," Shori said as he wave his hands to let out the pain.

Temari landed on Vic's shoulder as she peck him on his cheek.

"What is it?" He asked as Temari looked to the left with her locked eyes looking at the direction.

Vic understood as he readied his staff and shouted, "Everyone Stand By!"

Everyone, except Cardin as he took the opportunity to run, then readied themselves as the ground began to shook.

Then what could be a small army of Grimms came out and crushed the surrounding trees as they looked in shock.

"I think we need more back up," Vic said as he grabbed his other Pokeballs.

"Couldn't agree more," Shori as he also got his Pokeballs.

"Everyone Formation!/ Let's Rumble Everyone!" The two trainers then threw their Pokeballs as Vic's whole team appeared along with Shori's bird Pokemon and new Pokemons as well.

First is a squat, quadruped Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin. It has small, circular red eyes, a short, blunt snout, and a wide mouth with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. On top of its head are small, pointed ears with reddish pink insides. It has three clawed toes on each foot. The bud on its back has bloomed into a large pink, white-spotted flower. The flower is supported by a thick, brown trunk surrounded by green fronds.

Second is a serpentine Pokémon with a long body covered in slightly overlapping scales. It is mostly blue with a yellow underbelly and a row of yellow spots down each side. Its mouth is very large and gaping, bearing four pointed teeth and yellow lips. It has one barbel and a small white fin on each side of its face. The barbels are white on a female and tan on a male. It has small, red eyes, a three-pointed, dark blue crest on its head, and four white, spiky dorsal fins.

The thirdis a plant Pokémon with a bell-shaped body. It has a gaping mouth with pink lips and two sharp teeth. Its semicircular eyes appear directly under its mouth and it has several dark green spots on its body. On either side of its body is a large green leaf. Covering its mouth is a leaf with a long, brown, yellow-tipped vine growing out of it.

The fourth is a bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon. It is covered in dark orange fur with a white belly. Its bifurcated ears are brown on the outside, yellow on the insides, and end in a distinctive curl. There is a circular yellow marking on each cheek where its electric sacs are, and it has a triangular, dark brown nose. Its arms and feet have patches of brown fur at the end, and the soles of its long feet are tan with a circular orange pad in the center. On its back are two horizontal brown stripes. Its long, thin tail has a lightning bolt-shaped end.

The last one is an equine Pokémon with cream-colored fur and a pointed horn on its forehead. It has small, red eyes and triangular ears with reddish interiors. Yellow and reddish-orange flames stream from the back of its head to form a long, flowing mane. A short version of the mane trails down its back to its equally fiery tail. Flames are also present on its fetlocks. It has slender legs, each with a single black hoof.

Team RWBY and JNPR were in awe at the new Pokemons as Blake eyed the electric mouse hungrily.

"Alright Teresa use Flamethrower," The fire horse then let out a stream of fire out of its muzzle as it managed to burn some of the Grimms.

"Guys firing squad! Kin Hyper Beam!" The ones with long ranged weapons quickly line up as they rain fire while Kin fired a white beam at the Grimms.

The Grimm took it as a sign of battle as they charged in.

Vic then deployed his flag and activated his Semblance, "Charge!"

All of them got their boost as they charge in to battle.

Kakashi and the mouse used Thunderbolt as it knocks down some of the Grimm.

Ruby along with Temari and the other birds began to mow down some of the Grimms like grass, but needed to back away to some rolling Boarbatusk.

Gai and Yang punched away some Grimms as Gai even used a Deathstalker as a bat.

The serpent and Bunta used Surf to wash away their enemies as the large toad like Pokemon and giant pitcher plant shoot out a bunch of razor sharp leaves that wounded them.

Blake, Weiss, Pyrrha, and Nora rain down bullets, Dust, and explosives as Konohamaru fired a Sludge Bomb, and the fire horse surprisingly has vines appeared on its shoulders and whips the Grimms.

The Grimm to overwhelm them as the Hunters, Huntress, trainers, and Pokemons tried to push them back.

"Push!" Vic shouted as he used his Semblance more as they pushed the Grimm horde back.

The horse jump high into the air when a Deathstalker tried to hit it, and it came crashing down on the scorpion Grimm's back and cracked it.

Gai held two Deathstalkers with two arms each as Yang and Jaune hit their exposed bellies.

Bunta then fired a beam of ice along with the serpent, and Weiss firing Ice Dust rounds.

Shori took a Boarbatusk by its tusk and snap them in two as he used them as small daggers.

The pitcher plant and toad fired more razor sharp leaves, and Kakashi and mouse keep electrocute the Grimms to a crisp.

They could've continued till a loud stomp stop them as they went for the defensive.

Everyone formed a circle as they cut them down, but they are getting tired if they continued.

"Swel!/Geot!" The two birds squawk in fright as everyone look up to see two trees being hurled to them.

"Get down!" Vic shouted as the everyone get down to the ground as the Pokemons blast the trees away.

Them out of the forest is a large elephant Grimm, that is known as a Goliath, looked at the small group.

Vic knew the immediate danger so he shouted, "Retreat!"

They immediately did so as they need to regroup with the rest.

The Pokemons gave them cover fire, but a stray rock landed in front of Vic and tripped him and broke his ankle due to him having his Aura running out.

"Come on," Shori then carried Vic on his back as Vic slowly losing consciousness as his Aura is running out to boost everyone.

"Swam!" Bunta called out in worry for his trainer along with the others as they looked helplessly to help him.

"Bunta... I believe... in you... all of you," Vic muttered as he accepted the prospect to sleep as he finally lose his control over his Semblance, and everyone were now a little slower.

But Bunta and Kakashi felt a small wisp of their trainer's Aura as they could feel his emotion like they did in their journey, but they feel his pain and worries, but also his dreams and will. The two were always with their trainers side more than the others as they felt this connection more connected than the other trainers they saw, so they wanted to help their trainer. To help him win and reached the top.

To help him survive in this unknown world.

Both Bunta then stop as the two faced on to the now small horde of Grimms with the Goliath in front.

"What are they doing?" Weiss asked as she and the retreating group, so they could see the two gave out their respective cries to the enemy Grimm.

"They are buying us time," Shori said as he ignored the increasing pressure on his back.

"But why?" Blake asked.

"Unlike your typical animals, Pokemons will try to bond with their trainers to get to the level they need to help, they always be together to help each other no matter of situations, and this in front of us is a sign of the complete trust and strong bond between trainer and Pokemon," Shori said as he looked on Vic's unconscious body to see something glows on one hinge of his shades.

"What the-" Jaune was cut off as the glow let out an array of yellow light to Bunta and Kakashi.

They then saw something glowing in Bunta's hand and on Kakashi's neck as it shows them two well hidden rainbow colored stones tied to a very thin string as the two stones shoots an array of blue light behind them.

The two beams then collided with the first beam as everyone look in shock as the three began to combine to a pinkish light, and Bunta and Kakashi also glowed in the same color.

They then were surprised to see their bodies growing bigger and bulkier as their Auras grew larger.

Then the glow covering the two shattered like glass as Team RWBY, JNPR, and Shori looked in awe of the two new form.

Bunta's upper body and arms become more muscular, bulging compared to hus squat lower body. The orange padding on Bunta's thighs vanish, but he gains two additional patches of orange padding on each wrist and another patch on each shoulder. This padding and his gills become a darker, redder shade of orange, while the gills are now larger and bulbous, with filaments extending past its mouth. The black fins on his head are thicker and now extend down past its shoulders. The black tail fin is still shaped like an upward-turned fan, but it now forms a short ridge that extends up to this Pokémon's forehead, flanked on either side by the aforementioned head-fins. The digits on Bunta's "hands" take on a black color and now feature better defined articulations.

The yellow mane of Kakashi is considerably larger than his previous state. The center spike on his head has shifted, and now forms a large, tilted growth that extends over his snout and has a point on either end. The remaining two head spikes are thinner, longer, and have small, pointed bulbs in place of the earholes. The mane now extends down the length of Kakashi's body, forming four additional spikes. One of these spikes extends down past the Kakashi's chest and has points on both ends. The tufts of fur on his haunches are now blue and form more numerous, thinner points. While he retains the yellow tufts around its front feet, they now have two short spikes extending backward. Finally, Kakashi lacks the sharply angled tail of his previous state and now has red claws.

"Swampert!/Manectric!" The two called their names as it was filled with pure power as the Grimms slightly back away.

"What just happened?" Blake asked in shock.

"Mega Evolution," Shori muttered as the two teams look at him. "I don't know anything about them, but I heard to achieve this is that both trainer and Pokemon has the strongest bond with each other and two stones per trainer and Pokemon as the catalyst for the two to connect their bond to a whole new level of power."

The two teams were in awe as Bunta and Kakashi starts to intimidate their opponents with their new power.

Bunta then used Surf as the giant wave was more larger and easily swept the Grimms along with the trees in front of him.

Kakashi then fired a powerful Thunderbolt that roast half of the horde to a crisp.

"Woah," Jaune said in awe at how easily the two handled the now halfed army.

"Children!" The group then looked behind to see a worried Glynda running to them.

"How did you find us?" Shori asked.

"Team CRDL's leader running away from the woods and all of you missing. Its not hard that all of you might have come here to help," Glynda said then she saw Bunta and Kakashi's new forms. "And what are those?"

"I'll explain later, but we need to get out of here," Shori said as Glynda noticed Vic unconscious on his back and she nods as she led the group to the Bullheads.

As they finally left, Bunta and Kakashi can now release their full power without anyone getting in the crossfire.

Bunta then slammed his two fists to the ground to do a powerful Earthquake, and Kakashi quickly went to the high ground to avoid the attack.

Kakashi then fired a powerful Thunder that scorched the area, and destroyed a quarter of the horde.

The Grimms tried to attack, but the rising earth and cracks due to the shaking causes them to get damaged and they fell over dead when some hit their heads from the raised chunks of earth.

Bunta and Kakashi then charged in as Bunta covered himself in water, and Kakashi covered himself in electricity as they faced off the remaining horde.

Everyone were now near the Bullheads as Vic was layed down on the seats to let his Aura filled up, and they still heard the fight from where they stood.

"What are we waiting for?" One of the first year student's asked.

"We are waiting for Mister Polaris' other team members," Glynda said.

"Let's just go, those animals already served their purpose," Cardin said but Shori quickly shut him up by punching him down to the ground.

"Let me remind you that those 'animals' you called saved your stupid butt, and you wouldn't lived another day!" Shori then kicked Cardin on the head and made the large teen fell. "And for the record; I have them as well!"

"You know he's unconscious right?" Ren asked as Temari was on his shoulder again.

"I just want to let out some steam," Shori said as he glared at the rest of Team CRDL as the remaining three raised their hands in surrender.

They then heard the fighting stop as they heard the bushes rustle as they tense up, but were relieved that it was just Bunta and Kakashi back to their original forms.

The two Pokemon smiled when they saw their trainer safe, and the two followed the same path as their trainer.

Shori quickly went to Vic's unconscious body as he grabbed the Pokeball's of his Pokemons and returned them inside till they are properly healed.

"Alright class let's go," Glynda ordered as everyone entered the Bullheads with Team CRDL carrying their unconscious leader.

Vic suddenly open his eyes as he saw the blue sky, he then sat up and was shock to what he saw.

He wasn't in Forever Fall anymore, but a different place that he didn't remember or saw.

He was still clearly in Remnant since he saw broken moon, but he was on the bottom of a mountain that was even higher than the other mountain that heard of, and in front of him is a hollow cave with no light on the end of it.

"What do we name him?" Vic heard a male voice echoing through the cave.

"His name will be...," Vic was now curious when he heard the female voice and why it stop.

"Hey there... I'm your new sister...," He then heard another feminine voice but it was more younger.

'Wake up boy!' Then a loud yell resonated through the tunnel as the world enveloped into darkness as the last thing he saw were a pair of red eyes and gleaming gold.

"Ahh!" Vic suddenly screamed in fear as he found himself in the infirmary again, and saw Team RWBY, JNPR, Shori and Seier.

His visitors jump in fright we he heard Vic scream as he looked at him and were relieved to see him okay.

"Vic!" Ruby shouted in joy as she tackled the poor kid again as she was happy to see him okay.

"Ruby!!" Vic screamed in pain as he tried to get Ruby off him.

"Vicky!!" Nora then jump over them as she is gonna land on the two.

"Nora!! No!!" Everyone screamed in fear and it was followed by a huge crash.

Hours later, the gang, except for Shori and Seier, were heading to Ozpin's office with Vic having a cast on his right leg and a crutch with him.

"Oum damn it Nora," Vic mumbled as he was having trouble walking now as Nora rubbed the back of her head sheepishly.

"Good thing the nurse said that it will heal for four weeks," Jaune said as Vic could sigh.

"Let's get this over with," He said as they entered Ozpin's office to see the Headmaster doing his paperwork.

"Have a seat children," Ozpin said as they sat down. "I got the reports from Glynda and Mister Suisei, and I was intrigued on what they wrote."

"Yeah what was it called again? Oh that's right! Mega Evolution," Ruby said.

"Ah yes, do you know any of this Mister Polaris?" Ozpin asked.

"I have never know or heard of Mega Evolution till Shori told me when he left for his next class," Vic said.

"Look on your glasses Mister Polaris," Ozpin said as Vic removed his shades off his head and saw a stone embedded on one of the hinges.

"What the heck?" Vic muttered as he looked at the small stone.

"I see you haven't seen it yet?"

"I haven't even noticed it, but I could've sworn that these weren't on it," Vic said as he looked at the stone again and returned his shades on its rightful spot.

"Well since that is taken care of you may go," Ozpin said as Team RWBY and JNPR left, but Vic stayed behind which Ozpin look at strangely.

"I have some questions," He said.

"Go on then."

"When I was unconscious I think I saw a tall mountain," Vic said.

"It might just be Mount Glenn," Ozpin said.

"I think it wasn't, it was more taller than Glenn and I saw a tunnel on the bottom of it," Ozpin was now intrigued.

"What else did you see?"

"Well I didn't see anything, but I did heard voices in the tunnel."

"What did they say?"

"I think that they were a small family with a newborn baby boy, but they wouldn't say his name. But I think I have a theory."

"And what is that?" Vic then looked at Ozpin with solemn eyes.

"I think that I was the kid."

And that is it for this chapter of the story.

So how do you think the plot goes, it took me a long time to think about it, but I did manage to follow it up.
