Chapter:5 Sight of a Penny

Vic and Team RWBY are walking around Vale as the citizens are preparing for the Vytal Festival Tournament.

Vic just joined along the all girls team as his caretakers are kinda busy with helping take care of all of his Pokemon except Bunta, Team JNPR were training with one another in their spare time, and he wanted to visit the city for a long time since he only goes to all of Beacon's owned land.

"It is really good to get out of Beacon for once," Vic said.

"So you haven't seen anything outside Beacon?" Blake asked.

"Will people believe a kid suddenly appeared from a world full of monsters?" Vic rebutted as Blake could only agree.

"But you can finally a special event coming soon," Weiss said with a smile.

"You mean the Vytal Festival Tournament right?" Vic asked as the four girls looked at him.

"Yeah how do you know?" She asked.

"I heard some talks about it, and Ozpin wants me to do a 'special event' during the tournament," Vic said as the four girls understand why.

"Well since you have only heard it, let me educate you what the festival is," Weiss then cough on her hand to fix her voice and said. "The Vytal Festival! The Festival where Huntsman from all over the Four Kingdoms gather together to celebrate different cultures through dances, parades, and a tournament!"

"Sounds like a good time" Yang said.

"Then it must be interesting then," Vic said as he thought about it.

"It is indeed! And this is why the war ended so they could find peace with one another," Weiss said happily as they continued walking till they reached the docks.

"Remind me why are at the docks again?" She must followed and didn't know why.

"Yeah it smells like fish." Ruby said.

"Well we are near the docks, and there selling some fish their." Vic explained as he points to a local fish market.

"Well Yang if you must know students from Haven, Atlas, and Shade are coming here for the Vytal Festival, and I wish meet them and also welcome them." Weiss explained.

"She wants to know who we compete." Blake said and the heiress tried to deny it.

"Well it might be fun to see some new people," Vic said till the group saw a broken Dust store with police tape in its premises.

They went near and asked the local officers on what happened as they explained that the Dust in the shop were all stolen but nit the money, and they said that the White Fang did it.

Vic also heard of the White Fang from human's and Faunus' point of view.

When he asked a human, he said that they were animals and should be kept on a leash, and Vic made sure to pummel him since he also referred Velvet as one.

When he asked a Faunus, he said that they are dragging their kind to the dirt and someone needs to stop them, and Vic appreciate the answer.

"Hmph! The White Fang," Weiss scoffed as she looked in displeasure. "What an awful bunch of degenerates."

Blake heard that and the two began to argue the old equality group as Weiss unintentionally insulting the other Faunus as well, which Vic began to defend the view of Faunuses as well since Weiss unintentionally insulted Velvet.

Suddenly their little argument is halted when they saw a Monkey Faunus jumping off a ship, and is being chased by sailors of said ship.

The Faunus is a tan-skinned boy with short spiky light-blonde hair and dark-gray eyes.

He wears two red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves and an open loose-collared white jacket with no shirt underneath, displaying his muscular physique. He also wears blue cargo pants tied up with a white belt. He wears white bandages on his legs and has a chain hanging from the belt loop on the right side of his pants.

He sports black and yellow sneakers and wears a twisted golden necklace around his neck, replaced by a black cord, with a round pendant bearing a monkey emblem. He has a long prehensile monkey tail the same color as his hair.

"You no-good stowaway!" One of the sailors shouted in anger as the Monkey Faunus went up a lamp post.

"Hey, a 'no-good stowaway' would've gotten caught! I'm a great stowaway!" He then got a banana from somewhere and it as he threw the banana peel on of the sailor's faces as he jump off the lamp post and ran again.

The Faunus then ran by the five students and gave Blake a wink as he went straight ahead.

"Huh neat," Vic commented as he did like to make people's lives miserable since he was younger when he wanted to tell world that he was there to rise, but he think back that he only did it to find his family but no one came.

Seeing Vic's sudden depression, Ruby ruffled his hair which made him smile.

His short comfort was then cut short when Weiss began to chase the Monkey Faunus, so her other teammates and Vic followed her to not cause trouble.

They then went to an alleyway till Weiss ran into something since she was so focused to the Faunus.

"Weiss are you alright?" Ruby asked in worry.

Vic looked at what Weiss ran into, and he looked in shock and adoration.

It was a cute girl with short, rather curly orange hair that came down to her chin with a small ahoge on top, and she wore a pink bow on the back of her head. She also has bright green eyes, light skin, and freckles. She wore an off white old-fashioned styled off the shoulder blouse with frill detailed trim and frill flared cuffs that half cover her hands alongside copper button detailing on the lower parts of her sleeves. She also sports a short gray pinafore dress with golden trim on the hem alongside four light green stalagmite styled stripes on the lower half of the dress, two on the front and two on the back, accompanied by two matching colored circles above the tips that have a stripe that runs around her waistline, with golden outlines, and a detachable black and light green collar. She also wears a pair of black thigh-high leg pieces that seemingly are attached to black shoes. The leg pieces have a single green stripe up the sides that appears to light up.

Vic look with a blush as he quickly look away, but Yang saw it and waited for later to tease him of it.

The others were oblivious at the girl on the ground till the three finally saw her and jump in fear.

"Sal-u-ta-tion," The girl said as she still lay on the ground.

The girls were kinda weirded out, but Vic thought of it as cute.

'I hope Coco never hear of this, or she hold this on my head forever,' Vic thought as he slightly shivered.

"Are you okay?" Ruby asked the crashed girl.

"Oh I'm alright, my name is Penny pleasure to meet you," The now named Penny greeted as the five of them look at her weirdly.

"Well my name is Ruby."

"Weiss."

"Blake."

"Hi I'm Yang."

"H-Hi my name is Victor, b-but call me Vic," Ruby, Weiss, and Blake look at Vic in shock at how nervous he is rather than being collective as he usually was, while Yang was snickering behind her hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you," Penny repeated.

"You already said that," Blake said.

"...So I did," Penny admitted with a smile as Vic thought of it as really adorable. "Anyway, I was just taking the sights before the Vytal Festival. I just can't wait to fight in the tournament."

The five look at them in bewilderment at the cheerful girl when she mentioned the tournament.

"You're fighting in the tournament?" Yang said in an incredulous tone.

"I am combat ready," The odd girl said with a salute to emphasize her statement, which thought of as cute.

"Forgive me, but you don't look the part," Weiss said.

"This coming from someone that wears a dress," Blake quipped as Ruby and Weiss glared at her.

"It's a combat skirt!" The corrected in unison which earned two sweatdrops from their two other members.

Vic completely ignored them as he looked at Penny's very beautiful eyes as he feel entranced but felt wrong at the same time, Penny noticed this and only did a smile that made Vic turn away with a blush. Suddenly Weiss perk up when she remembered something.

"Wait a second, did you happen to see where the riffraff went?" Weiss inquired. Blake clenched her fists when she heard that since the heiress siad it like he was some lowlife.

Penny returned her gaze to the girls and asked, "Who?"

"The filthy Monkey Faunus from the boat!" Those words were the last straw for Blake.

"Stop it!" Blake's outburst startled the others as they went back to their earlier argument but more fiercer.

Vic looked at the two with a bad feeling in his mind; it was the question that troubles him for years as he couldn't let go of the thought of, and made him very depressed. Why did his family left him, where were they now, what do they even looked like, did they have a fallout, were they kind, and do they even care for him? He doesn't have any answer at all.

Ruby felt Vic's depression as she tried his hair again, but it was ineffective which made her sad.

"Are they friends?" Penny asked as she tilts her head.

"Yes," Ruby said but grimaced when the two girls of the opposites colors glare at each other fiercely. "I think."

"If they are friends, why are they arguing? I thought that friends were honest and trusted each other. I would wish for my friends to agree with me, i would not want to argue with them."

"Not everything is always perfect," Vic said with a frown that made Ruby worried. "Everyone thinks that they wanted everything to be perfect so they don't have any problems, but nothing is perfect as we are just humans, even Faunus, we have aura to say that we are alive but never perfect. We all have our own faults, dreams, and hopes that can only be solved with trust that is unmatched by any other, but we are restrained by a fake peace that hides cruel things from the public."

Then everyone stopped when they heard Vic's words, but couldn't help but agree.

"You sound so mature?" Penny said as she kneel to his eye level so he could see her eyes.

"Being an orphan helps that," Vic said as Weiss and Blake were shock to the new information, and Penny looked saddened. "I always did wonder why my family left me, why I never saw them again, and why that they didn't left me a photo so I could remember them. I-It really hurts thinking about it when none of the people in my town never knew them so I could know them, but it really hurts more when you are a nobody that lived alone without the love of a parent."

Tears threatened to go out of his eyes as he continued, "W-When I keep remembering this question really hurts me, b-but it never left me no matter how many times I tried to forget it when I keep see things that triggers it."

Weiss and Blake then looked guilty as they knew that their arguments were kinda like a married couple arguing, which will remind him of his troubles.

Penny instantly hugged him as he felt shocked, but she said, "Looks like you need it."

Vic smiled as he returned the hug, then they let go and Vic realized what happened and instantly turned away with a blush.

"So what are you gonna do now Penny?" Ruby asked.

"I'm continuing exploring for now so farewell," Penny said as she left the group, but quickly looked at Vic as she left stranged.

The four girls then looked at Vic as he rubbed his arms nervously.

"When we go back to Beacon, no more secrets, no more lies, and no more arguments. Please, I'd rather not see someone falling apart from something they haven't known," Vic asked as Weiss and Blake could only nod as they knew he was right.

They then went back to Beacon as Team RWBY were worried for Vic's mental health.

Night has finally come as Team RWBY were in Vic's room with him setting some chairs for them as Vic's Pokemons help him set up.

"Okay guys, take a seat," Vic said as he sat down on his room's chair as Team RWBY sat down on the one's they set up.

Vic sigh and said, "For now, this is about the two of you: Blake and Weiss. Both of you will talk one at a time, no bad accusations, no bad mouthing, and no trying to blame one another in a past time."

The two could only agree as it would really help, but it will break some trusts but they hope they can repair.

"You first Weiss," Vic suggested.

Weiss then told her tale when how the White Fang kidnapped her for ransom, the attack on her family's company, her troubles with said family, and her wanting to save her family's company from their greedy father.

The listeners were quite sad at her struggles as Blake felt more guilty.

"Its your turn Blake," Vic said as Blake felt scared, but Kakashi look at her and she knew that she had to do it without resistance.

Blake slowly reach out to her bow and pulled it off to reveal...

Cat ears.

Wait?

"So that's why," Vic muttered as everyone also look in shock.

Weiss was about to accuse till Gai stood by Blake with his arms crossed as he gave her a look to stand down, so she responded to not angering the large humanoid.

Blake then explained everything from her childhood, her time in the White Fang; which Weiss was about to hate her till Gai stopped her with a glare, the realization of her actions and the whole group, then her self expulsion to the whole group to redeem herself.

Everyone slowly took everything in as Weiss suddenly stood up, Vic's Pokemons were ready to defend Blake till Weiss let out her hand to the now revealed Faunus.

"I know that it will be difficult for me to trust you, but considering that you did wish to be redeemed for your actions. I believe it for now," Weiss said as Blake looked at the heiress for a second, and reluctantly took her hand.

The others smiled at the two trying to patch things up.

"Well its now late guys, so get some good sleep for now," Vic said as the girls agreed with him and returned to their room.

As they finally left, Vic sigh in exhaustion as he went to the bathroom and looked at the mirror.

His mind then remembered his meeting Penny as he blushed in embarrassment, and tried to forget it by taking a shower.

He might need to sleep it off.

A week has come and it has one minor problems.

Weiss and Blake's are still arguing but the two are slowly trusting each other, since they didn't want to have Vic be sad when he was the to try mending their bond, and wanted him to be always be happy since the two learned that he was an orphan.

When Vic isn't with Team RWBY, he would join up with Team JNPR and train with them as he is being trained by Pyrrha in spear throwing since he finally got the spear tip he needed, and he would train Jaune to the very bone as he did play around with a stick and trash lid since he was a kid and gotten very good using it.

When they took a break, he would always be with Nora since it felt right for him to be with her but not in a romantic manner as it felt more stranger for Vic, so he ignored it for now as he need to focus on training the blonde.

He also met Shori and Seier's Pokemons.

Shori introduced his first as he introduced Rash the Venusaur, OWO the Gyarados, Alpha the Pidgeot, Peach the Victreebel, Voltus the Raichu, and Teresa the Rapidash.

Rash is the giant toad, OWO is the serpent, Alpha is the bird, Peach is the giant plant, Voltus is the mouse, and Teresa is the horse.

Seier first introduced the humanoid and the bird as she called them Emerald the Gardevoir and Fox the Staraptor, then she introduced her other Pokemons.

First is a bipedal, primate-like Pokémon that is primarily reddish-brown with sections of white fur on its chest, head, and lower legs. Several gold markings adorn its body: swirled, circular ones on its knees and shoulders flame-shaped ones on the back of its hands, and a stripe around its back that forms two swirls on its chest. On top of its head is a large flame, which is never extinguished. It has an orange, rounded muzzle, long, round ears with blue inside, and a red ridge over its eyes. The eyes themselves are blue with yellow sclerae. There are five blue digits on both its feet and hands, and it has a long tail.

Second is a quadrupedal Pokémon resembling a fully-grown lion. While its face, hind legs, torso, and the back of its front legs are blue, much of its body is covered with shaggy, black fur. The fur is longer around the shoulders and the base of the tail, and forms a mane on its head. It has yellow eyes with red sclerae, a blunt muzzle, and rounded ears with yellow insides. There are three yellow, half rings on the back of each foreleg. Its long, thin tail is tipped with a yellow four-pointed star.

Third is a blue, bipedal, platypus-like Pokémon. It has red eyes, a cream-colored beak, a red gem in the center of its forehead, and four spikes on the back of its head. Its hands and feet all have three clawed digits with cream-colored webbing in-between, and it has a long tail.

The last one is a mammalian, quadruped Pokémon. Its body is tan with dark brown paws. It has a multitude of small green sprouts growing all over its legs, chest and back, with the longest one on its head, in front of four tan tufts of fur. It's ears and tail are stylized to resemble tattered leaves. It has brown eyes and a small, brown nose.

The four of them is Sun the Infernape, Blake the Luxray, Dew the Golduck, and Jaune the Leafeon.

In different places of the world, six certain people suddenly sneezed and they didn't know why.

Right now, Vic is currently with Velvet and her teammates, which are his other caretakers, as they are taking care of his Pokemons.

He saw the other girl when he first entered this world, and there are two guys with them.

First is a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick.

He wears a sleeveless, muted orange zipper vest with black lining and a high collar, a pair of black jeans, and brown, laced shoes. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips.

He also wears a pair of long black gloves and has several pouches attached to his belt.

Second is a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin, who wears mostly pale-green and brown attire.

He has a long short-sleeved robe, which he wears on one shoulder over a black muscle shirt. The robe is fastened at the waist by a leather armored belt with two pouches on it.

He also wears brown pants and black-and-green boots. His left arm bears a 5-layer sode which extends up past his shoulder.

"Thanks again taking care of them when I was going to the city for the first time," Vic said as he brushed Kakashi's fur, Velvet is brushing Kin's fur, the blind guy watering Maru and Bunta to keep them hydrated, the big guy feedung Temari, and the girl with shades is giving Gai some protein shakes.

"No problem kid as long you are not causing trouble and we are being blamed at," The girl with the shades said.

"Hey! You were firing bullets at me because I just trip and my lemonade hit your clothes," Vic countered as she glared at him.

"You know he's right Coco, and since you are our leader; we will also get punished because of you," The blind guy said as the girl now named Coco looked at him in betrayal.

"Fox is right, you're the only one causing the trouble since you did take the job very seriously when he only do minor troubles," The big guy said as Coco slumped in depression.

"There there," Velvet comforted Coco as she pat her on the back, till the fashionista did a 180 on her mood.

"But I am happy for you as well. Having you here in Beacon really change some of the people's views here, you are righteous, a fair person, will driven, loyal, but most of all a good leader," She then smiled when she saw him blush and looked away. "You might be too young to have those traits, but that's what makes you special. You expect your partners to back you up, and they expect you to do as well; if the tide isn't in your favor then you make it yours. This is who you are Vic, and nothing is changing that."

Vic still looked away but has a smile on his face as he felt great hearing her compliment.

"Thanks Coco," Vic said till he felt his Scroll vibrate so he took it and saw that Ruby is calling him.

Vic then pressed answer and he answered, "Hello?"

"Hey Vic can you come to our room" Ruby asked throught the scroll.

"Why?"

"Just come to our room," He then heard Weiss' voice though it.

"Alright alright I'm coming," Vic said as he put his scroll back to his ppckets and returned his Pokemon. "Well see you guys later."

"See you later Vic," Coco said as Vic began to leave and he and Team CFVY wave at each other as Vic finally exited.

Vic was then outside Team RWBY's room as he knocked on the door.

"Come in," He then heard Yang through the door.

"Please tell me that all of you are clothed?" Vic asked.

"We are," He immediately believe it since it was Blake, and he opened the door to see the girls in new outfits.

Ruby is now wearing a long-sleeve, light gray shirt with black belted cuffs near the ends of the sleeves. Over top of the gray shirt is a black pinafore with two vertical lines of red stitching that resemble the lacing on a corset. She wears a red skirt with a large black print of her emblem on the side and matching black tulle underneath.

Her stockings and shoes remain the same as her original outfit, though the boots lack the red trim that decorated the top. A few pieces of metal arranged in the shape of a rose are attached to the shoulder of her left sleeve, and her cloak's hood has been wrapped around her neck in a scarf-like fashion, while the rest hangs down like normal.

Weiss is wearing a white, double-breasted pea coat with black piping, cuffs, and buttons over a white, pleated full skirt with black lace trim. She also wears a pair of white, thigh-high boots with black heels and lace-topped black stockings.

Blake is wearing a white, v-neck, zip-up crop shirt with a black hem and three-quarter sleeves. Her emblem is printed in off-white on the left side of the shirt. She wears black pants that have a vertical gray stripe on the outer side of each leg and a black belt.

Attached to the rear of the belt is a black piece of fabric that covers her from hip to hip. Underneath this is a longer, translucent, purple piece of fabric. She also wears black high-heel boots with two straps and buckles and purple underoles, reaching to mid-calf. She retains the black ribbons on her forearms and her black bow.

Yang is wearinga deep-collared cream vest worn over a low cut black shirt; both are covered by a dark gray shrug with a raised collar, three-quarter sleeves adorned with a single black stripe down the outside of each sleeve, and gold cuffs. A black miniskirt is worn under the cream vest.

A pair of crooked black belts with gold accents are slung around her hip, with a purple piece of fabric attached to the left-rear section of the lower belt. She wears thigh high stockings attached to her miniskirt by garter-belts on the front and back of each thigh, decorated with four golden studs above her knee and her emblem on the outside of each thigh in gold. She also wears black ankle boots with multiple buckles and white ribbons on the back tied in a bow. Around her neck is a purple pendant set in silver.

"What are you guys wearing?" Vic asked.

"We are going to Vale City tonight," Yang said.

"Why?" Blake then decided to answer that.

"We are finding out who's stealing all of the Dust."

"Well count me in."

And that is it for this chapter of the day.

You can already see the effects of Vic and the other trainers in the whole story line as you could see why.

I do hear that I am not creative in naming, but those were the names that I really used in my Emerald Nuzlocke and Platinum Wedlocke, I did create the names in my Leaf Green Wedlocke, and I will be using my bestfriends team, on game that I will not reveal yet, with his permission.

I am struggling on planning my stories, but I will use the main story plot and renovate it to construct my story.
