Alright guys! Its time for the battle in Beacon!
I will do two episodes in one chapter so I want those chapters be long and don't have to take multiple chapters doing them. If the battle is an odd number, then I would make the final episode be its own chapter.
I would also improve some of the characters abilities especially Jaune and Blake since I did give them new abilities. I also kinda made the battle with the old White Fang and new White Fang very one sided because of the hundreds of Pokemon and I am not regretting it. Some of them need to gain some sense and I think an army of magical creatures is the greatest solution.

Chapter:35 The Battle in Haven
On the school grounds,Qrow takes the lead as the currently present members of Team RWBY, the whole Team JNPR, Nomad, and Oscar follow close behind with U. Pichu on his shoulder. Ruby stops and looks up to admire Haven's CCT tower, before following the rest of the group to a nearby building. They enter the building and are greeted by Leonardo, who is standing on a terrace at the top of the stairs that is being held up by a statue of a woman in chains.
"Why hello. Thank you for... coming," Leonardo nervously said as he chuckles. "There... seems to be more of you than last time."
Qrow and the rest of the group stop to look up at Lionheart.
"Eh, you know what they say, "The more the merrier". So what's going on with the council?" Qrow asked.
"Why... did you bring your weapons?" Leonardo asked as well.
"What? Leo, we're Huntsmen. You okay?"
"Of course! Of course, sorry. Just haven't had my evening coffee."
"Look, it's nice to see you, but we got work to do. Are we getting support from the council or not?"
While the two talk, Yang notices from the corner of her eye a black bird perched on a balcony railing.
"Mom?" Yang said questioningly as she look at the bird.
Everyone's attention is turned to the bird. It flies away just as Qrow shoots at it, but he misses. The bird flies down behind Lionheart, transforming into Raven Branwen, donning her mask. Everyone glares at her.
"Raven," Ruby said.
"They... they really are magic..." Nora said as Raven took off her mask.
"If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting," The older Branwen said.
"What are you doing here?!" Qrow said.
Raven then walk down the stairs and said, "I could ask you the same thing. You've been scheming, little brother. Planning to attack your own sister."
"Leo... what have you done?!" Qrow said at the Headmaster as Leonardo flinches.
"I..."
"Leo did what any sane person would in his position - he looked at all the information he had in front of him, assessed the situation, and made a choice. And it seems you all have too," Raven said as Qrow look at her in anger.
"You have the Spring Maiden."
"I do," She said nonchalantly.
"Then hand her over and let's work together! We can beat Salem!"
"All that time spent spying for Ozpin and you still have no idea what you're dealing with. There is no beating Salem!"
"You're wrong. We've done things that most people would call impossible, and I know the only reason we were able to do it is because we didn't do it alone! We had people to teach us, people to help us, we had each other. Work with us. At least I know we'll have a better chance if we try together. Please," Ruby said as she holds her hand out, Raven glares at it.
"You sound just like your mother," Raven said with scorn as she suddenly draws Omen and creates a portal with her Semblance. From the portal, a fireball is launched and hits Ruby square in her torso. She lands several feet back.
"Ruby!" Yang shouted in worry.
While Yang runs to her little sister,Cinder steps out of the portal.
"Hello boys and girls," The false Maiden greeted ominously.
She is then joined by Vernal, Emerald and Mercury as they too step out from the portal.
"Cinder..." Ruby said with a glare.
Cinder and her group line up alongside Raven, while Ruby's group gasp.
"C'mon guys, is that any way to greet your old friends?" Mercury said as Yang growled.
"Everybody, stay calm," Qrow assured them as Nomad quickly stood beside him with Knockoff and Knockout on his hand.
Suddenly they hear the doors behind them open up.
"Oh no..." Oscar muttered in fear as Hazel is seen closing the doors behind him as he enters.
"The White Fang is prepping demolition and securing the school grounds. No one's getting in, and no one's getting out," Hazel said.
Outside, a White Fang soldier is seen placing a bomb on the CCT tower. The camera zooms out to show more bombs all primed set by more White Fang soldiers. Adam looks on.
"Once the charges are set, move back to perimeter watch. Tonight, Haven falls" Adam said as he smiles evilly.
Unbeknownst to him, a more bigger storm is coming.
Back inside, everyone watches Hazel slowly approach them. They turn their attention back to Cinder.
"This was all just a trap?" Weiss said as she was still shock.
"It appears so..." Ren said.
"Raven, tell me... how long have you been with them?" Qrow asked her.
"Aww, don't take it personally, little bird. Your sister was a recent addition. The lion on the other hand... Entrance into the Vytal Festival was a real treat, Leonardo's been sending Salem all sorts of information for a very, very long time. Isn't that right, professor?" Cinder said mockingly as Leonardo look down in shame.
"Stop it..." He said.
"It was you... you sit on the Mistral Council. You had information on every Huntsman and Huntress in the Kingdom, and you gave it all to her?" Qrow said as tried to hold back his anger.
"I-"
"I couldn't find any of them, because you let her kill them!" Qrow yelled at him anger while Nomad clenched his fists around the handle of his weapons.
Lionheart doesn't say anything, only still having a sad expression on his face.
"Aw now, don't beat yourself up about it, Lionheart, I'm sure Tyrian and Hazel would've found them on their own eventually," Cinder said.
"What is wrong with you...?" Jaune questioned Cinder as he seethe in anger. "How can you be so broken inside... to take so many lives, and then come here and rub it in our faces like it's something to be proud of?!"
"Jaune..." Pyrrha said in worry.
"All with that damn smile on your face!" Jaune shouted in anger as he felt enraged and drew his weapon along with the others.
"Everybody, stay calm!" Qrow called out to them as Cinder just glares.
"Jaune, just calm down," Pyrrha said as Jaune held his weapon tightly.
"She's right, but there is no turning back now," Nomad said as he pulled out all his Pokeball with Nora following his lead.
"Let's go everyone!/ Everyone come out!" Then the two released their teams which shocked that never knew them.
"If you think that you can beat us, then let's try it with numbers," Nomad said as the chaos soon followed.
Jaune and Pyrrha charged at Cinder as the false Maiden summons a pair of glowing scimitars to block the couple's blade.
"Jaune! Pyrrha!" Ruby called out as she leaps into the air, but a chain wraps around her and she is pulled to the ground by Emerald.
"Your not going near her," She said as she quickly avoid a Wing Attack from Bacchus the Crobat.
The couple was then pushed back by Cinder and the three begin their fight. Yang runs forward to join the fight, but Mercury lands in front of her.
"Hey there, Blondie. I'm thinking you owe me an apology for my leg, don't ya think?" Mercury said mockingly as Yang growl and uses Ember Celica to propel herself forward with Wooly the Ampharos and Spark the Luxray on tow.
"Take out the heiress. Don't bother wasting your power, she's not worth it," Raven ordered as she draws her sword as Qrow uses Harbinger to lock blades with his sister.
"Running away was one thing, but this... you've crossed the line!" Qrow yelled to her.
"Sorry, brother. Sometimes family disappoints you like that," Raven said.
"We're not family anymore," Qrow said as he slightly falters.
"Were we ever?" Raven questioned him.
"I guess so, but I got someone better," Qrow said to her with a smile.
"Dare I say, who it is?" Raven said mockingly.
"On your right," Qrow said as Raven was confused from his answer till she was hit on the stomach by none other than Hunch the Absol.
Qrow then sighs as Hunch stood beside him, he look at Raven as he put his weapon on his shoulder and said, "Blood doesn't make a family, its the bond that makes it."
Raven sneered as she stood up and began to fight the unlucky duo. While the siblings battle Vernal draws her weapons and confronts Weiss.
"Let's see what the Schnee name really means," Vernal said as she draws her weapons, while Weiss holds Myrtenaster en garde.
"I'm more than a name," Weiss said.
"Hm, prove it."
Weiss activates a glyph below her and projects herself forward to fight the Spring Maiden. Meanwhile, Oscar sneaks up the stairs to Lionheart while Hazel confronts Ren and Nora, who hold up their weapons defensively with Sumo the Hariyama and Tiny the Snorlax.
"I don't wish to fight either of you nor your companions," Hazel said.
"Nor I you," Ren said as Sumo claps his hands in a threatening manner.
"But we will if you're with her!" Nora said as Tiny roars.
Hazel cracks his neck and knuckles and said, "Very well, then."
Hazel proceeds forward. As Lionheart nervously watches the fights going on, he then notices Oscar walk up behind him with U. Pichu still on his shoulder.
"Young man, I don't know who you are or what you think you're doing, but for your sake and your companion, I suggest you leave. Now," Leonardo said sincerely. Oscar defiantly remains stationary before taking a few more steps toward Lionheart. "I'm warning you!"
Lionheart holds out Stalwart which switches to active mode, while Oscar prepares to draw something from behind him.
"That's enough!" Leonardo then rotates his weapon, having a glyph appear above it which then conjures a flaming rock that launches at Oscar, who holds out his arms in front of him defensively as the attack explodes. Oscar is unscathed, though his Aura shimmers. He continues to proceed up the steps and draws The Long Memory.
Leonardo eyes widen and said, "Ozpin?"
"Not quite," Oscar said as he then proceeds forward as his attacks force Lionheart on the defensive. Lionheart blocks or dodges most of them, one drives him against the rail. Oscar hits it as Lionheart avoids another strike, then follows up with a swing that sends Lionheart staggering down the steps as U. Pichu sent a Thundershock to sent him back more. He jumps down to continue attacking and eventually manages to whack Lionheart back a few steps.
"This can't be... I knew you would be back, but... you made it here! You found Qrow! How?" He said in shock.
'Leo... what happened to you?' Ozpin said in Oscar's mind.
"Wait. You can't have had this form for long. You're... not really Ozpin right now. Boy. Child. If I deliver you to Salem, she'll have to be pleased with me, and I can finally get out of all of this! I can finally be free!" Leonardo said with renewed determination as he prep his weapon.
'What do I do?' Oscar asked Ozpin.
'Fight,' He said dryly as U. Pichu let out some sparks from his cheeks.
Meanwhile, Weiss leaps around on her glyphs, dodging Vernal's weapons as she throws them like boomerangs. After backing into a pillar Weiss is then forced on the defensive and creates a large ice wall. She then stabs Myrtenaster into the ground as her Arma Gigas summon crawls out of her glyph. Suddenly, a large beam destroys the ice wall as well as the Arma Gigas before it could be fully summoned. One of Vernal's weapons knocks Weiss back several feet.
Vernal then catch her weapon and said, "Don't think I'm going to let you take the easy way out."
Elsewhere, Jaune was pushed away while Pyrrha continued to fight Cinder.
"You should've died if it wasn't for that brat," Cinder said angrily.
"I make my own destiny and no one else!" Pyrrha said defiantly as she began to push back as Jaune gets back up and help his lover with Cinder again. Ruby watches them fight but is snapped out of her distraction by Emerald. She then transforms Thief's Respite into its revolver forms and fires at Ruby, who twirls around Crescent Rose blocking Emerald's shots.
"Why are you doing this?! Salem's--"
"I don't care about Salem!" Emerald cut her off. "I don't care about Salem! But I owe Cinder everything. You want to fight her that bad? Be my guest."
Emerald then activates her hallucination Semblance, creating a wall of fire which Cinder emerges from and charges at Ruby. Suddenly, Cinder's form disappears as Emerald was about to trip the young redhead if not for Monarch the Butterfree and Flora the Leavenny stopping the thief on her tracks with Bug Buzz and Energy Ball while Bacchus zoomed in to get Ruby out of there.
Weiss blocks Vernal's shots with Myrtenaster as she attempts to summon, but Vernal is too quick and prevents her from doing so with a shot to the back. Eventually, Weiss manages to launch Vernal out of the way using a glyph and prepares to summon again. Suddenly, Vernal appears in front of her and lands a point blank attack that depletes Weiss' aura. Weiss lets out a pained scream. Jaune hears this and looks in her direction as he then began to feel fear.
"Who will you choose? Stopping me or letting her die," Cinder said as she continued to push them back.
"Go to Weiss, I'll hold her off," Pyrrha said but the false Maiden kept them in bay so they couldn't help the heiress.
"I don't think so," Cinder said as she then ignites her scimitars, which is now fully coated in flames. Cinder, Pyrrha, and Jaune proceed forward to clash. Ruby looks behind her and notices this. She briefly thinks back to the moment when they were almost met their end in Beacon that she still feared.
"NOOOOOOO!!!!"
A bright light engulfs the area but dies down when Ruby is knocked unconscious by Emerald. Suddenly, Cinder falls to her knees, holding her arm in pain. She looks up, and barely misses Jaune's attack as it chips her mask that conceals the left side of her face. As Cinder moves out of the way, Jaune trips and falls. Cinder gets back up enraged, activating her Maiden power while doing so. But Pyrrha quickly intervene and push her back as Cinder is starting to get annoyed by this.
"Why do you keep defying me!" Cinder yelled in anger.
"As long we are together, we won't stay down and let you people step on us!" Pyrrha shouted in defiance as Jaune stood beside her with his shield now fully transformed to its new form.
"And we never will," Jaune said as Crocea Mors began to create the barrier as he put it in front of him as he prepare for any attacks.
Cinder looks to couples' comrades as they fight against their respective foes. Nora jumps up attempting to bring Magnhild down on Hazel who grabs it. He tosses her aside then uses his arms to block Ren slashing with Stormflower, and was blindsided when Sumo and Tiny slam themselves on both sides but wasn't fazed. Mercury blocks Yang's attack then ducks under a shot and leaps back. He launches himself up but only hits the floor as she moves, yet Wooly and Spark quickly fired their respective attacks at him but he quickly evaded the attacks. She then growls in anger till she notices Weiss get knocked back several feet away, and begins to slowly proceed toward her while she conjures an obsidian spear with a maniacal grin.
The couple saw this as they tried to stop Cinder from advancing, but she used her powers to boost her speed and throws it.
"Weiss! Look out!" Jaune called out to her but he was too late.
The spear impales Weiss through her abdomen. She gasps in shock as everyone stops their fighting and stare in shock as well. The spear then disintegrates as Weiss goes motionless and slumps forwards.
"Weiss!" Jaune and Pyrrha shouted in horror as two rushed to help the heiress.
Cinder is shown smirking at what she sees and felt ecstatic. Oscar watches Jaune and Pyrrha approach and Jaune pick up the unconscious Weiss from his position. He then looks over to the unconscious Ruby as she was quickly taken care of by Emerald when her the two Bug Types and Bacchus couldn't catch the thief on time to get her away.. Angered, he smacks Leonardo with The Long Memory, causing him to fall down the stairs followed by a quick Thundershock from U Pichu, and into Hazel, who remains unfazed as Lionheart falls to the ground. Oscar quickly runs over to Ruby, with Nora joining him.
"Ruby, get up! Get up!! We need you!" Oscar said as he tried to wake her up.
Hazel picks up Lionheart by his collar, lifting him off the floor.
"That's not just a boy! It's Ozpin," Leonardo said as Hazel's eyes widen when the Headmaster says this. "He's already reincarnated!"
Hazel drops Lionheart and looks over to Oscar, who is still trying to nudge Ruby to wake her up. He then notices The Long Memory being held in the young farm boy's hand.
"Ozpin?" Hazel said as he continued to look at Oscar till his usual calm demeanor of slowly turns infuriated. Ruby stirs for a bit.
"Ruby! You--"
"OZPIN!!"
Oscar then looks up to the angry Hazel looking at him with loathe and hate.
'Oh no,' Ozpin said in worry.
"You thought you could hide from ME!!!" Hazel yelled as he rips his coat off, and then grabs a pair of lightning Dust crystals from a couple of pouches on his legs. "You'll pay for what you did! You'll die over and over again!!"
He stabs the lightning Dust into his arms, with his blood vessels turning yellow and popping out from his skin as well as having some lightning coat them. His eyes glow yellow, and he lets out an intimidating roar. Oscar slowly backs away, holding his cane up cautiously.
"Do-- do we fight?" Oscar asked Ozpin as he stuttered.
'No, run!'
Hazel leaps forward to charge into Oscar, but Qrow and Hunch gets him out of the way in time as U. Pichu jump onto Hunch's back. Qrow transforms Harbinger into its scythe form while Cinder watches. Raven and Vernal walk to her sides.
"Ozpin is here?!" Cinder said in anger.
"Is that a problem?" Raven asked.
"I'm not sure, but right now we got the upper hand. Let's not waste it."
Lionheart is shown on his knees when Cinder's voice gets his attention.
"Leo! Open the path to the vault!"
Lionheart gets back up and approaches the statue in the room. He takes out his pocket watch and places it in a small niche on the statue. The hands on the watch gradually spin faster and the statue lowers. Yang watches the situation in front of her. She looks to Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren as they tend to Weiss with the Pokemons standing guard, and then looks over to Nora who is still trying to wake Ruby up. Nora looks to Yang.
"Stop them! We've got your team covered!" Nora assured the blonde as Bacchus and the two Bug Types are guarding her and Ruby.
Yang lingers a bit before heeding Nora's advice, but she gets kicked to the ground by Mercury. He is then joined by Emerald.
"You wanna get to them? You're going to have to get through all of us," Emerald said as uses her Semblance to create multiple copies of Mercury, which surround Yang. Meanwhile, Jaune and Pyrrha uses their hands to apply pressure on Weiss' wound, while Ren holds her wrist checking her pulse.
"Ren, talk to me!" Jaune said in fear as he keep adding pressure on the wound.
Ren sadly shakes his head and said, "This is bad."
Jaune's and Pyrrha's eyes widen in horror when they heard this.
"No, no, no, no, you can't be serious!" Jaune said in shock as his will began to falter. "Weiss, c'mon please!!"
Meanwhile, Vernal steps onto the platform leading down to the vault.
"Make sure they leave Ruby alive. This won't take long," Cinder said to Leonardo as she steps onto the platform. Raven looks back a bit as she hears her daughter fighting vainly, shaking her head before she steps on the platform too. The platform then lowers down. Oscar is then shown dodging out of the way as Hazel slams his fist into the ground. Sumo and Tiny couldn't keep up due to their meddling speed and just wait for the right opportunity.
'Oscar!'
'No!' Oscar refused as he dodges another attack from Hazel.
'Oscar!'
'I told you, no!' Oscar gets punched back by Hazel several feet into a column.
'Please, let me take over! I can handle him!'
'You told me I needed to fight for myself!' Oscar then stand up. 'So I will.'
'This is not your fight!'
'What does that mean? Why is he so upset with us?'
"He didn't tell you my tale, did he, boy?" Hazel said as he approached them menacingly. "I thought you looked familiar, to think that evil was inside you when our paths first crossed."
He holds his fists in the air and yelled, "Your blood won't be on my hands, it'll be on his."
Qrow jumps in the way to block Hazel's attack while Hunch went to grab Oscar, but Hazel slams his fist into the ground, the shockwave knocking both him, Hunch, and Oscar back. They both get back up as Qrow engages Hazel. Qrow dodges a punch then slashes at Hazel, who blocks the sword with one arm.
'What was he talking about?' Oscar asked the Headmaster as U. Pichu quickly ran up to him.
"Tell him, Ozpin! Tell him how you KILLED HER!!" Hazel yelled.
'Her?'
'Gretchen Rainart was Hazel's sister. Despite her brother's wishes, she enrolled at Beacon Academy to become a Huntressand tragically lost her life on a training mission. Hazel... holds me responsible. Please, let me fight. I know Hazel. He's wounded in a way that cannot be healed.'
"You know now!" Hazel said as he toss Qrow and Hunch aside, U. Pichu stood in front of Oscar protectively as he let out some small sparks. "You can forgive me for what I'm about to do."
As Hazel approached the farm hand, Oscar quickly said, "Did she know?"
Hazel stops in place at his inquiry.
"Did she know the risk of being a Huntress?"
"She was only a child! She wasn't ready!!" Hazel said angrily.
"She made a choice! A choice to put others before herself!" Oscar said in determination as he held the cane defensively. "So do I."
Hazel just glares at him and said, "Then you've chosen death!"
Oscar glares back, determined.
'I'm sorry.'
'What?'
Oscar's eyes glow and his body falls to the ground, which startled U. Pichu and made him run, as Ozpin takes over him. Ozpin looks up, and Hazel looks back at him, enraged.
"OzzzzzzPIIIIIIINNNNN!!!!" Hazel roared.
Meanwhile, Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren continue tending to Weiss.
"She's hardly breathing. I... I don't know what we can do..." Ren said solemnly as the three of them look down to Weiss as she struggles to breathe, before suddenly stopping.
"No, it wasn't supposed to be like this! Please!" Jaune said his voice began to break while Pyrrha began to tear up. "We can't let her die."
'Then live she will be.'
Jaune's eyes widen suddenly, a faint shimmering sound is heard and a white aura starts to coat over Weiss' body. Weiss suddenly gasps for breath again.
Meanwhile, Cinder, Raven and Vernal are seen riding the platform down to the vault.
"Are you nervous, girl? The first Maiden in - why, I'm not sure anyone knows how many years - is about to open a vault. I would say it's quite an exciting time. Don't you feel honored?" Cinder asked Vernal.
"No, I'm not concerned with any of this. All I care about is my tribe- my family. This is a burden, not an honor," Vernal said as Cinder chuckles.
"You've conditioned her quite well, Raven," She praised the bandit leader.
As the three continue to ride down the platform, they see the vault under Haven Academy - a massive cavern with a large tree that has glowing orange flowers. The platform reaches the bottom, and the gate protecting the vault is lowered into the ground.
"Hm, it's certainly grander than Beacon's. I wonder what the extra effort was for," Cinder commented.
"Can we please not linger?" Raven said impatiently.
"After you."
Vernal steps off the platform first, followed by Cinder, and then Raven, the latter putting her mask back on.
Unbeknownst to them, the same pair of black eyes still watches them.
Back above ground, Hazel and Ozpin fight each other intensely, Ozpin dodges several blows as one punch hits a column. Lionheart tries to intervene by launching another attack from Stalwart, but is stopped by a gunshot from Qrow. The two of them begin to fight each other, with Qrow swinging Harbinger at him while Hunch looking for an opportunity to strike. Then following up with a kick before blocking several of Lionheart's projectiles. With the two busy Ozpin and Hazel engage each other again. Hazel tries to smash him with his fists, but Ozpin is too fast for him. Nimbly jumping around while striking the man several times. Using Hazel like a springboard to launch himself away, their fight moves back over to the terrace. Ozpin kicks off a wall dodging fists and electric blasts, striking Hazel's face then jabs him several times in the chest. Eventually, Ozpin manages to roll under him and knock Hazel down on all fours with a hit to the legs. Ozpin then twirls his cane and prepares to deliver the finishing blow, but Hazel roars and smashes his fists into the ground, creating another lightning shockwave. Meanwhile, Weiss starts to gasp and breathes normally again as the white aura encoating her continues to glow.
'Arceus, thank you,' Jaune thought as he felt relieved that the heiress is okay.
'Use this power safely my Champion'
"Weiss!" Ruby called out as Nora helps Ruby up on her feet, who then quickly runs over to her teammate's side. "What happened? What's going on?!"
Ren smiled and said, "I think she's going to be okay! She seems to be stabilizing."
With Weiss breathing again, Ruby smiles, relieved that her friend's life is not endangered anymore. Ruby then hears her sister struggling, she looks over her shoulder to see Yang getting knocked back by Mercury as Wooly and Spark tried to take out the other clones. Yang charges forward, but Mercury's form disappears as a result of another one of Emerald's Semblance hallucinations. Emerald then creates an image of Raven, which Yang is hesitant to attack. Yang then blocks another attack from Mercury, but his next series of hits manage to knock her down again. Ferno then decided to help the blonde as he and Nomad began to leave their defense positions with the Trainer firing some shots that their opponents needed to quicky avoid. Ruby then looks over to Oscar fighting Hazel, with the latter's attack becoming too wild and unpredictable for the young boy. Oscar is then hit by one of Lionheart's projectiles and holds his shoulder in pain. Hazel is about to punch at Oscar again, but Qrow and Hunch pushes Oscar out of the way and Qrow takes the blow in his back, launching him upwards. Ruby then lifts Jaune's hands up to see that Weiss' wound has closed
"Whatever you're doing, don't stop!" Ruby said.
"I won't," Jaune said.
"Good. Oscar needs help."
"I'm on it," Ren said.
"Jaune and Weiss still need cover!"
Ren takes out StormFlower, while Nora and Pyrrha approaches his side holding Magnhild, Miló, and Akoúo respectively.
"No one's gonna touch 'em," Nora said with a smile.
"Not on our watch," Pyrrha said as the other remaining Pokemons cried out their agreement which made Ruby smile.
"Ok, make it happen, RWY and JNPR!"
Ruby stands back up, transforming Crescent Rose into its scythe form and flips over. She lands to her sister's side, knocking Emerald back. Emerald's Semblance copies of Mercury then disappear, reforming back into the main Mercury as Ferno let out a Flamethrower while Wooly and Spark let a Discharge and Thunderbolt respectively to the two teens.
"Thanks, sis," Yang said as she stood back up. "You okay?"
"No, I'm angry," Ruby said as she proceeds forward.
Nomad then stood beside Yang as he reload his weapon, and said, "She will eventually."
Yang frowns and said, "Yeah."
Back down in the vault, Vernal, Cinder, and Raven walk towards the Relic chamber. Suddenly, a symbol on the ground glows bright, as well as the circle enclosed around it. Similar circles with symbols in them also glow leading up to the Relic chamber's door. The tree's flowers then glow even more, and it's petals gently fall and float around the vault. One petal falls into Vernal's hand.
"Having fun?" Cinder said as Vernal glares back at Cinder as the petal in her hand dissolves into particles.
"Vernal, stay focused," Raven ordered sternly.
"Oh, come now, Raven, let her enjoy this. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
"How does this work?" Vernal asked.
"Once the Spring Maiden places her hand on the door, it will open. For you - and only you. Then I will walk into the vault, and retrieve the Relic. No one else. Is that clear?"
"Yes," Vernal said in response.
"It doesn't matter to us. Let's get this over with," Raven said.
"Alright then. Vernal, when you're ready," Raven said as Vernal approaches the door. While she does so, Raven slowly reaches for the hilt of Omen, but stops when Cinder speaks. "You know, I've heard so many stories about you, Raven. They say you're a cunning leader, that you're strong, that you're clever."
Vernal hovers her fingertips close to the door. Cinder glances back at Raven.
"It's a shame that they're wrong," Cinder suddenly launches out a blue, frost-like projectile from her hand.
"VERNAL!!!" Raven called out as she tried to reach out to her subordinate, but she is already encased in ice by Cinder's attack. Vernal spins around and draws her weapons, but her body suddenly jolts as something stabs her stomach. She looks down and notices an elongated Grimm hand coming from Cinder's left arm, its' claws piercing her torso. Cinder looks from Raven back to Vernal as she approaches the prone girl.
"It's nothing personal, dear. You're just not worthy of such power" Cinder said as she draws level with Vernal. "But I am."
Cinder twists her Grimm arm, and Vernal screams in agony as she is thrown to the ground, struggling to remove the claws from her stomach. The ice coating Raven is shown cracking.
"So I will take...what is mine..." Vernal's struggles begin to weaken, her grip on Cinder's arm loosening. Cinder smirks as she looks down on Vernal's body, but then realizes that something is wrong. "Wha-- what is this? Where's the power?!"
Cinder hears ice shatter from behind her and spins around, to see that Raven has broken free. A bluish aura glows around her body.
"You won't find it, because Vernal isn't the Spring Maiden!" The bandit leader declared as she took off her mask and drops it. "I am!!"
Raven opens her eyes, the telltale flames of a Maiden glowing around them as another have started.
And that is it for this chapter.
Yeah this story is now Rated T, death is now common in RWBY, I didn't really did this before because its kinda tame till this chapter showed literal blood. I kinda do need to do this because of the future episodes of RWBY that I have seen and really need to do it, and might increase it to Rated M.
It is also kinda tough to add some interaction for Nomad and the Pokemons, and I hope that next chapter will be the time I can show some parts with them.
For now, I just hope that you guys enjoy this chapter and I'll see you on the next one.
