You have no idea how large the smile on my face right now.
I know you guys have some questions about last chapter, so I must say it now.
Since you guys saw the anniversary chapter of the story, I was also planning on more story ideas if I ever finish this one then it clicked to me, so that's why I have added that part in because I want to continue connecting the two series more in this story and I want some Legendaries to have some connections to our cast.
I already have Vic and Nora with the Dragons of Truth and Ideals, I have Jaune with the God of Pokémon itself, so why not have Ruby have a certain connection with the Pokémon of Life.
I might not do this to the others since I already have Blake as part Pokémon while Weiss has her own partner Pokémon, so it leaves Yang, Ren, and Pyrrha without any connection.
But I might do it in some way so expect it in the future.

Chapter:50 A Reunion in Mantle
"Our heroes have now reached Atlas and are very wary in newer territory, they would meet old and new faces but something dark lurks just right above them, and have to be ready for this threat."
Manta airships patrol the skies around the City of Atlas, keeping in communication with each other over radio. As Maria pilots the group's stolen Manta toward the city, they receive radio contact.
"Manta 5-1. Welcome home. Please continue your approach to Atlas docking bay Omega-12. A security team will meet you there. Over."
Ruby and the others aboard Manta 5-1 look around at the large military air fleet surrounding the kingdom's capital.
"I don't understand. What's happening here?" Ruby said questioningly.
"I don't know," Qrow said.
"This is giving me the heebie jeebies," Nomad said as he slightly shiver.
"But we are here. We got the lamp to Atlas, so I guess we land and get some answers," Jaune suggested.
"I'm not so sure. I've never seen our forces deployed so aggressively before. If we land in a stolen ship, there's no way the security team will let us anywhere near Ironwood. But I don't know about my father," Weiss said as Blake gains a saddened look, while Ruby and Yang look at each other, uncertain of what to do.
"So…"
Weiss suddenly got an idea as she looks up, "Winter!"
Weiss then brought out her Scroll and said to Maria, "Put some distance between us and the fleet."
"You don't have to tell me twice," Maria said as Weiss walks to the back of the ship, Maria steers the ship toward Mantle. As people wander the streets of Mantle, the group looks over the city through the Manta's windows. They fly past a giant screen on the side of a skyscraper. Ironwood's voice comes from the screen, catching Ruby and Yang's attention.
"...cannot express our appreciation enough. Many describe these as uncertain times, and while that may be the case for the rest of the world, I can tell you what is certain. The Kingdom of Atlas will remain strong, and it will remain safe. That is my promise."
Ruby and Yang look saddened.
"General Ironwood. He looks…"
"Tired," Ruby finished her sister's sentence.
"James, what have you been doing?" Qrow muttered in worry.
Four Atlesian Knight-200s are seen walking down a street in Mantle, while civilians around them complain about their presence.
"Ugh, not these again."
"Why can't they just leave us be?"
A small drone floats along a sidewalk, while a pair of small children hide in an alley. One of the children picks up a rock and throws it at the drone, which spins around to look, prompting the children to hide against the wall. Weiss sadly stares out of Manta 5-1's window with her Scroll in her palm which worried the Alolan Vulpix. Weiss' Scroll is set to call Winter, who does not answer.
"This isn't right. None of this is right."
Once again, the stolen Manta receives contact over the radio.
"Manta 5-1, we've noticed a detour in your route. You are to make your way to docking bay Omega 12 immediately. Do you copy? Over."
"I'm not answering that," Mel said.
"We're kind of running out of time here, kids," Maria said.
"We need to ditch the ship," Yang suggested.
"Agreed. Get lost in Mantle and buy ourselves some time," Qrow said.
"I'm telling you, my sister can take us to Ironwood," Weiss said adamantly.
Blake, who has been staring out of a window, looks over her shoulder and speaks up.
"Uh, Weiss?"
Weiss walks over to Blake's side and looks out the window with her as a familiar voice plays from a giant screen.
"A reminder."
"Huh?" Weiss could only say in confusion.
"Failure to cooperate with Atlas military personnel is a punishable offense. If your sector is under lockdown…"
"Winter?" The heiress said in shock.
"Well that just went down the drain," Randy said.
"He's right, Weiss. I'm not sure that's a good idea anymore," Qrow said as Weiss tenses her shoulders and turns to Qrow, fists clenched.
"There's obviously something very wrong. If we can just talk to her, then we--"
"Look, I'm not even sure we should be talking to Ironwood until we know exactly what's going on with Mantle."
"But--"
"Everyone, calm down," Maria stops them as she let out a sigh. "I know someone who can help with both."
"Manta 5-1, you are to make your--"
Maria quickly shuts off the radio in annoyance, "Geez, lady, take a hint!"
After landing the stolen Manta in Mantle, Maria cautiously exits an alley by slowly shuffling along with her cane. When she sees the coast is clear, she picks up her cane and walks normally, and everyone else exits the alley with her. In the distance, a small group of Atlas soldiers run down a street in the direction that Maria and the others came from.
"It landed over there, let's go!"
The group begins walking through Mantle together. Trucks drive past, and Atlesian Knight-200s stand on various sidewalks. A small child places a poster of a white-haired woman on a street lamp. There is a hologram board displaying news articles with the following headlines:

"Election Imminent
Mantle Hometown Hero vs Atlesian Tycoon"
"Embargo: The Right Call?
Pressure and Criticism Continues to Mount on Council"
"Outer Wall Damaged
Resources Stalled"
The group walks past a garage with graffiti art reading "Show Your Teeth"
"Come on now, hurry! It shouldn't be much of a walk," Maria said.
"Is this many soldiers normal?" Jaune asked.
"Yeah, this is overkill," Randy said as he put his hands near his Pokéballs, where his Gijinkafied Pokémons are in.
"No. At least, I didn't think so," Weiss said as she was unsure to what really happens.
At the back of the group, Yang notices a whirring sound and stops to take a look.
"Huh?" The blonde could only say in confusion.
There is a small drone hovering to her right. The camera part of the drone lifts up, focused on her. When Yang shrugs it off and resumes walking, the drone follows her. She stops again and looks at it in surprise and confusion. As she leans in to take a closer look, the drone takes a photograph of her face with a bright flash, which Yang recoils from. In response, Yang kicks the drone, knocking it out of the air and causing it to tumble into the street, where it is struck by a car.
Yang cringes at the destruction of the Droid and said, "Ooh..."
Yang turns to see everyone else in the group staring at her. She awkwardly shifts her posture with a sheepish smile.
"Maybe we should pick up the pace."
They did so.
"You have to remember, the Kingdom had just lost the Great War. The people of Mantle needed a sign of a brighter future, and that sign was Atlas. After all, a home in the clouds is as bright as it gets," Maria told them.
They look up at the City of Atlas, while the earlier broadcast from Winter plays once again nearby. A pair of trucks drive by with miners, covered in black material, sitting in the beds. Posters depicting a white-haired woman are plastered across one of the buildings that the trucks pass, with the text "PROTECT MANTLE" printed on them.
Blake and Nora watch the second truck as it drives by.
Nora crossed her arms, looked away and said, "Unless you're the one having to look up at it."
"This whole city, it just seems awful," Blake said.
"No kidding," Nomad said as he felt uncomfortable.
"Yeah?" They then saw a drunken man stumbling from a porch. "You don't like it here? There's plenty of space out in the tundra."
Blake sigh and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean to--"
"Atlas is the greatest Kingdom in the world, alright?!" He yelled in his drunken stupor.
Ruby stepped forward and shouted, "Hey!"
Blake quickly stepped ahead of her leader and quietly said, "We can't cause a scene."
"The embargo...The embargo's got us in a rough patch. But it'll blow over, you'll see," The drunken man's equally drunken friend said.
"We try and help the other Kingdoms, and this is what happens? I say let 'em rot!" The drunken man said in anger.
"I apologize. I didn't mean to insult you," Blake said with lack of sincerity.
The drunk man spits on the ground, glaring at Blake and said, "Stupid Faunus like you wouldn't unders--"
He looks down to unscrew his flask and pauses when he sees a black glyph beneath his feet. His glasses hover off his face as his eyes widen in surprise. The glyph flings him into the air, and he falls into a dumpster in the nearby alley, his glasses and flask accompanying him soon after. Yang, Nora, Blake, Ruby, Nomad, and Randy stare at the dumpster, then turn to see Weiss pointing Myrtenaster where the man had been standing with the Alolan Vulpix wagging its tails, clueless.
The heiress shrug with a smile and said, "It was worth it."
The group flees while a pair of Atlesian Knight-200s investigate. The man's drinking buddy hurries down from the porch and looks around in thought, before reaching out toward the girls.
"Hey, wait!" The drunken man's friend called out to them as he ran after them. "You're-- That was--"
The drinking buddy trips and collapses to the sidewalk. Winter's broadcast is heard playing once again.
"We are here for your safety. Thank you for your cooperation."
The group approaches a building with a glowing green plus symbol above its front door. The side door opens, and a Faunus with a prosthetic arm exits, waving cheerfully to the old man who speaks to her from inside.
"And no more heavy-lifting, yah hear?" The old man said.
"Ah, it's good to see you again, old friend," Maria said as the old man is sitting behind the desk, shuffling things around in a drawer. Maria clears her throat, startling him, and he lifts his head to look at her, shutting the drawer. Maria smiles at him.
"Ah, yes, yes," The old man said as he pushes a stack of paper aside. "Have we met?"
Ren entered and said, "This is off to a fantastic start."
"Cybernetic optical implants," Maria said as she points to her eyes. "You adjust them. Every ten years or so?"
He stares at her for a few moments before throwing his hands cheerfully into the air and said in joy, "Maria!"
The robotic chair he is sitting in begins walking out from behind the desk and said, "Yes, with the cybernetic optical implants! I adjust them every ten years or so."
He offers his hand to her and leads her to an examination table.
The elderly man laughs and said, "Oh wow, has it been that long already?"
"Ah, I know. I age like a fine wine. Would've been here sooner if I hadn't run into these jokers. At the time, I thought they might need my guidance while fighting a little old Sphinx," Maria said.
"Oh, did they?"
"No, no. They had much more complicated issues."
Qrow cleared his throat and said, "And this is?"
"So impatient. I didn't think I'd need to introduce one of Atlas' finest minds," Maria said.
"Working in a place like this?" Yang questioned as the building creaks, and a ceiling tile falls to the floor.
"He likes to keep a low profile. Something I've come to realize none of you know anything about," Maria said.
"You can call me Pietro," The now named Pietro said.
"Finest heart, too. This pharmacy is just where he volunteers when he's not building the future of Atlas alongside Ironwood, up in the clouds."
"Oh, it's stuffy up there. Down here, I get to help the locals and have a little fun. I'm currently working on shoes that make you dance. Wanna try 'em on?"
"YES!" Both Nora and Mel said in excitement.
Yang quickly stepped in and said, "Before we get to that, we were wondering if you could help us. We came to Atlas hoping to talk to General Ironwood, but um…"
"What exactly has been happening here?" Blake asked.
Pietro coughs and said, "Well, the Fall of Beacon took a toll on all of us. James was no different. I couldn't tell you exactly what it was he saw there, but it changed him. He's…"
"He's scared," Qrow guessed.
"Paranoid would be the more appropriate term. You have to understand, it wasn't just the Grimm. Someone completely dismantled Atlas security code, made it their play-thing, and made us look like traitors to some and buffoons to everyone else. Whoever managed to do that is either a genius or one of our own. I fear the answer may be both, and so does the general."
"Maybe Atlas isn't as safe as we thought," Ruby said.
"After we came all this way, we can't just leave, can we?" Oscar asked as U. Pichu looked worried.
Weiss stepped in and said, "How does the council feel about all of this? Or Winter Schnee? Do you know anything about her?"
"Well, the council's so scared, they'll agree to whatever he wants. Though, some representatives from Mantle… Wait, you're… You're Weiss Schnee!" Pietro said in realization.
Weiss gasps and steps back, with her friends looking nervous.
Yang stepped forward with her prosthetic arm outstretched as she said, "Wait, what was it that you were trying to say about Mantle?"
Pietro looked at the prosthetic, "You painted it."
Yang withdraws her arm, confused, "What?"
"Is everything okay?" Ruby asked.
"You're Team RWBY!" The Team RWBY girls look at each other in confusion till Pietro's eyes layer on Team JNPR. "And Team JNPR."
Team JNPR looked uncomfortable till Pietro then look at Mel, "And you must be Meliodas."
Mel's eyes widen as Ruby quickly said, "You know us?"
"Oh, my girl, I do. I most certainly do. And I feel like such a dunce for not recognizing all of you sooner. My daughter's told me so much about you along with her prince charming," Pietro said.
"Your… daughter?" Ruby questioned in confusion
"Prince charming?" Nora said, slightly appalled for reasons she doesn't know.
Their conversation is interrupted by the sound of an alarm and people screaming. Outside, civilians are running, and the lights from the street lamps have turned red.
"Ah, trouble," Jaune said as everyone ran outside while Pietro tried to reach out to them.
"Wait!"
Everyone in the group draws their weapons. Upon drawing her katana, Blake looks at the broken blade, exhaling sharply before folding the blade down to wield it as a gun.
"I guess the city defenses aren't doing much," Oscar said.
"Are they really neglecting this city," Pyrrha said as she worried for the citizens.
Nora glanced at Ren and said, "Somehow, that doesn't surprise me."
Down the road from them, growling is heard, and an Atlesian Knight-200 is thrown against a lamp post.
"Hm?" Jaune hummed in anticipation.
Another robot is thrown, and three more back up into view, shooting at Sabyrs, which tackle and destroy them one by one.
"Well, we didn't come this far to fail now!" Ruby said.
Ruby changes Crescent Rose into scythe form and aims the sniper barrel toward the Sabyrs, which finish destroying the Atlesian Knight-200s and charge toward her and her friends. Everyone readies their weapons while Qrow let out Hunch, Randy let out Lanaya, Nomad let out Spark, and Mel let out Blade. Yang charges forth using recoil from her gauntlet, followed by Ren, Randy, and Mel launching themselves forward.
Nora gasp and shouted, "Hey!"
Getting an idea, Nora looks at Pyrrha, who look determined. She uses Magnhild to pole vault toward Pyrrha, who puts up her shield in response, allowing her to land on it. She then kicks off from the redhead's shield, launching herself. After Yang uppercuts a Sabyr, Ren lands on another one's back, stabbing his guns' blades into it, and it leaps into the air to knock him off, only for Nora to slam it to the ground with her hammer. Jaune and Pyrrha beheads a pair of Sabyr, and when a second one leaps at Jaune, Pyrrha blocks with her shield and stabs it just above its collarbone. Randy threw three ghostly kunai at another Sabyr which hits its neck while Lanaya used Psychic to another one and threw it to the one Randy hit. Nomad grabbed the jaw of a Sabyr as it slashes at him but it empowered Nomad's Semblance and he punched it to another Sabyr with the stored power he took and Spark fired a Thunderbolt to three of them and used Wild Charge that tried to stike him from the side. Mel rode on Blade's back as he fired a blast of pressurized Wind Dust while the Axe Jaw Pokémon rushed in with Outrage and crushed any Sabyr that comes on his way.
Qrow and Hunch slices two Sabyrs in half, the drunkard leans back to dodge a third as it attempts to tackle him. He transforms Harbinger into scythe mode and uses it to hook the Grimm as it makes another attempt to tackle him. As he finishes spinning his scythe, he plants its blade into the ground and punches another Sabyr in the head, then uppercuts it into the air. He then kicks Harbinger upward, catches it, straightens the blade, impales the Sabyr, and Hunch slices another one that leaps at Qrow from behind the deceased Sabyr's smoke.
While Qrow shoots at more Sabyrs and Hunch attacking any stragglers, another one turns its attention to Oscar. It charges him, and he leaps into the air and stabs at its skull with Ozpin's cane. While he watches it die, another one leaps at him from behind, only to be shocked by U. Pichu and followd by a snipe from Ruby, who smiles and nods to Oscar.
Ruby transforms her rifle back into scythe mode and runs forward. As a Sabyr leaps at her, she does a flip and slices it in half. She continues running, fires Crescent Rose, and begins using her Semblance to speed down the street, before appearing to split into three blurs of red that go around a Sabyr, which splits apart with a roar. The blurs converge and transform back into Ruby, who stabs the tip of her scythe into the asphalt, swinging forward on it and landing on the ground. She fires Crescent Rose and lets go of it, sending it spinning through a Sabyr and into the air. She leaps onto and kicks off of another Sabyr, spinning and catching her scythe. She fires Crescent Rose to keep up momentum and slams the blade into the ground, sending out a shockwave that takes out two more Sabyrs.
After Weiss slices through a Sabyr, four more come running toward her from another street. The Alolan Vulpix used Icy Wind to slow them down and Weiss casts four black glyphs, using them to levitate the Grimm. As they flail helplessly in the air, Ren leaps from Sabyr to Sabyr, cutting each of them in half. Meanwhile, another Sabyr attempts to run up behind Yang while she finishes one off, only to be shot by Blake, who smiles and nods to Yang.
Suddenly, another Sabyr leaps into the air behind Blake, who gasps and turns to face it. Before she can fight back, a green laser fires from the sky, cutting the Grimm in half. More lasers shoot from above, striking down the remaining Grimm along with beams of ice and bolts of lightning. The alarms throughout the city stop, and the street lamps change back to their normal color. Everyone watches as a figure with long hair flies into view, with green jets coming from her feet. She twirls in the air and slowly descends with two figures jumps in the alleyways. Pietro and Maria walk outside to join the group, while Ruby stares at the girl before gasping and gaining a look of recognition.
"Penny!"
"Darling, why don't you say hello to your friends?" Pietro said.
Penny turns to look in the direction her father's voice came from. Upon seeing Ruby, she gasps and her eyes shine with joy. Ruby smiles and puts her weapon away. Penny leans forward a little.
"Sal..."
"Huh?" Ruby could only say in confusion.
Penny lowers to one knee as a high-pitched charging noise is heard.
"U..."
"Uh?" Riby said nervously.
Penny begins gleefully sprinting toward Ruby at high speed while shouting, "Tations!!!"
Penny leaps and activates her jets, rocketing forward and tackling Ruby, who flails her hands around in front of her and screams, eyes wide. Upon crashing to the ground, Ruby groans in pain. Everyone else puts their weapons away and approaches the pair. Penny pops back up onto her feet, while Ruby slowly rises with her hand on her head.
"It is such a pleasure to see you all again!" Penny said in joy.
"I missed you!" Ruby said as she hugged her as Pietro approached them.
The two figures then exited the alleyways and Team RWBY and JNPR quickly who they were.
"Bunta! Kakashi!" Nora called out in joy.
The Discharge Pokémon ran up and tackled her as Kakashi licked her face while Bunta just walked to them.
"If you're here then..."
Jaune was cut off when a decapitated Sabyr head dropped just a further away from the group and a figure dropped by it as Nora quickly recognizing who it was and couldn't help but grin in joy.
"Vic!"
The once short boy now stood tall with his hair slightly grown with his signature shades on his head.
He wore a slightly darker tan shirt with a black leather jacket hanging around his neck by the cord and a orange V with flames on it. He wore a pair of camo jeans with a belt hanging loosely by his waist and a pair of winter boots with a more sturdier sole underneath. Lastly is a pair of dog tags hanging on his neck with both Mei and Choji's name on it.
"Nice to see you guys again," Vic said with a smile till he look at Mel and he looked overjoyed. "Mel!"
Mel laughed and said, "You son of a gun, you were here the whole time?! I was sent to Vacuo for Pete's sake."
"You two know each other?" Nomad asked the short teen.
"Tell you later," He said.
"That's my girl. We're not going to let a little ripping to shreds stop us, are we?" Pietro said with a laugh but he then coughs.
"No sir!" Penny assured as she knock on her head with a clanking sound.
Vic chuckles at this as he put his arm around his girlfriend's neck and said, "Probably not now though."
"This is..." Weiss could only say awkwardly.
"Strangely wholesome," Blake finished.
"You got that right," Randy said with Drago nodding as the Dragapult Faunus returned to his Pokéball.
"Sounds like Vic and Penny to me," Yang said while Vic let go for Penny to grab Ruby's shoulder excitedly.
"We have so many things to catch up about. I cannot wait!" Penny said with a grin till the alarms went off again. "It seems we will have to wait."
Penny bounces backward and salutes. As she charges her jets and then rockets off into the sky, she continues speaking quickly to Ruby even as she takes off.
"Let's talk more later! I can't wait to hear about all of your adventures and tell you how I have been and I am just very excited about the whole experience!!"
Vic chuckles at her antics and said, "Be safe guys. We'll see each other again soon."
He then returned Bunta and Kakashi back in their Pokéballs as he jump in the air while a blue blur headed for him, and he landed on it to reveal that it was Temari as the two left.
"I can't tell if I completely understand what's going on or have, like, a million questions," Nora said as Pyrrha nods in agreement.
Pietro then went back to his pharmacy and said, "And thankfully, I have about a thousand answers. But let's get out of this weather first."
Maria followed him and said, "I have absolutely no idea who those two were. Are they important somehow?"
"That was unexpected," Jaune said.
"Never a dull moment," Ren said.
"Especially with Vic around," Pyrrha said with a giggle.
"But I wouldn't say unwelcome. I was honestly expecting things to go a lot rougher," Qrow said.
The group begins following Maria and Pietro. However, as they walk, Ren senses something behind them. Before anyone can react, several bolases wrap around Nora, Oscar, Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Randy, Mel and Nomad, the spheres at the ends of the ropes locking into place with Gravity Dust while U. Pichu and the Alolan Vulpix rushed to their respective owners. Blake turns to look back at the commotion, just in time for all of Team RWBY to be caught. As Ruby lands, the Relic of Knowledge comes unhooked from her belt and clatters to the ground. Qrow draws his sword and looks for their unseen enemy, before being captured himself. Five uniform-clad people come out of hiding and surround the group.
The first is a man with short brown hair and teal-green eyes. He wore a sleeveless Atlesian Specialist uniform that consisted of a white sleeveless double breasted coat with red and blue accents with ornate detailing shaped to the form of wishbones, broad tail with red lining and a four-leaf clover pin on the lapel. His belt had a rabbit's foot keychain hanging off it. He also wore white pants and covered his hands with brown fingerless gloves. He also wears blue calf high boots with four dark blue straps and silver steel toe plating.
The second a young Faunus with long greenish-black hair tied in a bun and red eyes. His trait is a black canine tail.
He wears an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of a white double-breasted coat with silver buttons, dark blue accents, collar, shoulder flaps with matching cuffs that have two silver buttons. The coat's tail splits, allowing his tail to move freely. He has a dark blue belt with a silver buckle around his waist with a dark blue pouch on the right side. He has a red ascot tied around his neck. He wears a red shirt under his coat. He wears dark blue trousers tucked into his black knee-high boots.
The third is a tall man with short shaved gray hair, deathly pale skin and light blue eyes. He had several tattoos, including a third eye tattoo along the center of his forehead and chin. He wore an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consisted of a white double-breasted, partially unbuttoned coat with a broad tail, navy blue accents, collar and shoulder flaps, a red sash running diagonally over his left shoulder meeting a second red sash around his waist under a large blue belt, and navy blue fingerless gloves that go up to his brachium. He wore navy blue pants tucked into a pair of navy blue thigh-high boots with steel toe and heel plating, a small pouch on the sides and kneepad detailing. He wore beaded necklaces around his neck and beaded bracelets around his right arm alongside two silver bands, one small, one large on his left forearm.
The fourth is a tall young muscular woman with medium brown hair in a short ponytail, brown-tan skin, and brown eyes. She wears an Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of an open white, one-sleeved crop jacket with dark blue accents, shoulder flaps and collar and a dark gray shirt. She has silver vambraces over her forearms She has a red belt around her white pants and goes barefoot save for some martial arts footwraps alongside dark blue calf plates that cover the tops of her feet, the plates have three red straps tied around them; the soles of her feet are appropriately dirty as a result. She also has a silver hoop earring on her right ear.
Then the last one is a dark-skinned young woman with platinum blonde and brown hair shaved on the sides and dark pink eyes.
She wears a very short-sleeved Atlesian Specialist uniform that consists of a sleeveless white double-breasted vest with silver buttons and dark blue accents. It has a white and dark blue-collar, a dark blue short-sleeved t-shirt, a red tie and white shorts. She wears dark blue chaps that presumably connect to the tops of her shorts. The chaps expose the inner part of the thighs and the backs of her calves. She also wears blue fingerless gloves and dark gray trainers with black accents and a white stripe accompanied with red socks. She also has white calf pads and dark blue knee pads as well. There are also dark blue straps fastened around the top of her vest. The blond portions of her hair are styled in a way that resembles a rabbit's ears.
"Good work, team," The brown haired man said.
"Hey! What's going on?!" Oscar asked in shock.
"I need an adult!" Mel screamed.
"We have one," Randy said in annoyance as he struggled to move
"Hey, pal! I'm a licensed Huntsman! Just helped save everyone?" Qrow demanded.
The man looks down at Qrow, twirling a horseshoe on his finger. He puts the horseshoe away and picks up Qrow's weapon. The other uniformed operatives begin gathering everyone else's weapons, while Atlesian Knight-200s approach, and the operatives hand the confiscated weapons to the robots. The man then approaches Ruby, picks up the Relic, and looks at it.
"Hm. Let's get them loaded into the next transport."
"Please! We were just trying to help!" Ruby pleaded.
"What is the meaning of this?" Pietro and Maria then approached them as the elderly man coughs. "What are the Ace-Ops even doing down here in Mantle?"
"Ace-Ops?" Ruby asked.
"The military? Really?!" Nomad shouted in disbelief.
"Doctor, good to see you. Well, we heard a report of an unauthorized ship making an unauthorized landing, followed by an unauthorized use of weapons by unlicensed Huntsmen," The man said while Maria turns and walks away.
"Really Maria!" Mel shouted in anger.
"If we could just talk this out--"
The man juggles the Relic around and said, "They'll be able to talk this out once they get to Atlas. Let's move out!"
The Ace-Ops split up and leave the area. Team RWBY, Team JNPR, the three Trainers, Oscar and Qrow are forced into the back of a secure van with their wrists bound, even U. Pichu and the Alolan Vulpix were put in a cage when the two were captured because they wouldn't leave Oscar's and Weiss' side.
"Now, this…This is much closer to what I was expecting," Qrow said.
"Yep this is it," Nomad said as he then grumbles under his breath as the back doors of the van are slammed shut.

Tale of Two Champions: To Move On
Shori is seen walking around the container impatiently while Seier meditates in a corner. The woman's eyes then open and stood up from the corner.
"We're here," She said as Shori looked at her.
They then felt the container moving as the pair stood still till it let out a loud clang. The two then walk outside to see that they were in an isolated island but has signs of technology around.
"Let's do this," Shori said as he walk over while Seier look to the horizon.
"Yeah," Seier then followed just behind as the two look around warily.
They keep walking and walking till they heard machinery walking to them as the couple took cover to see a group of androids patrolling around.
Seier then gain a serious look as she suddenly began to sneak behind them which made Shori anxious.
"Stop!" Shori quietly shouted to his wife but she continued to sneak past the robots, and he relented as he began to follow her.
Seier had to look around warily while swiftly moving out of the android's view while Shori followed suite very closely.
"You need to slow down," Shori whispered.
"Not enough time," Seier said as she continued forward.
"What do you mean?" Shori questioned as he tried to keep up.
"We're close, he will never escape judgement after what he did to Mt. Glenn."
"You just don't need to rush in."
Seier then turned around to glare at her husband as he quickly wilted from her gaze.
"I have the ability to see the future and you don't, he has enough to prepare and we are nearly there."
"But still, you can't just interpret those visions of yours and tell me those are always true. It happened in the past before and those visions aren't complete as you thought they are."
"Because I don't want that man to live!" Seier shouted as Shori look at her in shock. "We were there Shori, right there in Mt. Glenn during its construction, standing in the middle with the rest to fight them off, but what did we do? We ran! We ran when those people were left to dead!"
"We were still young by that time," He tried to reason with her.
"And we fought separate organizations that tried to rule the world in that same age!"
"And what about our daughter?" He said sternly as Seier now look at him in shock since he was always the one who never threatens. "What would she think when she would learn our past, our past that would waver the thoughts of many? I want Nozomu have a normal life, a normal journey or a normal school life, I don't want to have our daughter be subjugated by the same curse we have gotten or the horrors we have seen. If it did, I want Nozomu to still have her mother, to focus on her, to love and cherish her dearly, and to be there for her in her days of trouble."
Seier could only look away in shame while Shori let out a sigh.
"So please, no matter how long, now matter where he would be, or whatever happens to him. I want the woman that I love to focus on our family, to prepare our daughter to the outside world, and protect her to the dangers that she would face."
Seier then look at his eyes, the eyes of the man he loved dearly as she let out her own sigh.
"Fine," Seier said as Shori smiled. "We can do this slowly."
"Together then?" Shori asked as Seier then let out a giggle.
"Together."
"Then let's go."
The two then continued to sneak through the island till they hear a loud rumbling in the distance. They look around to see both Grimm and Android ready to fight.
"Together we stand," He said as he grab one of his Pokéballs while looking at Seier.
"Together we thrive," She said as she grab her own Pokéball.
"Go Rash!/ Reach to the stars! Sun!"
The two then threw their Pokéballs in the air to let out their Starters as the Seed and Flame Pokémons let out cries of defiance.
The horde of Grimms and Androids then charge at them so the four followed suite.
Sun then charged in and used Rock Slide as portals appeared above and rocks began to fall on their enemies while Rash used Frenzy Plant to trap them so their trainers could move in.
Shori then burn the roots to make the horde to move slower while jump Seier jump over the fire and fired buckshots at both Grimms and Androids.
Sun following his trainer and began to pummel their opponents to either dusts and scraps while Rash used Razor Leaf to cut them down.
Shori then puncture the upper casing of one of the ranged Android and threw it to a group of Grimms and Androids, and quickly turned to a group of melee Androids so he could turn them to slag. Seier zoom through the horde to cut and shoot them down till she have to leap over a mutant Creep and shoots it head to smithereens.
While they slowly cut their numbers, more kept coming.
Shori then push a Beowolf away and decapitated its head as he look to his wife and said, "We need to go! We can't hold them all of!"
Seier then have to cut down a pair of Beowolves while Sun the Infernape used Rock Slide to crush them, so she said, "Then let's go! Go to the building!"
Shori then return Rash as he, Seier, and Sun ran to the building as they take out anything that comes to their way, they quickly got inside and Sun used Rock Slide to block the entrance.
The two then sigh till Seier's Scroll suddenly rang. The three look at each other as Seier picked it up.
Then it showed a face that Seier quickly loathed.
It was a face of an elderly man with disheveled gray hair, a matching mustache and beard and prominent eyebrows. His left eye is robotic and glows red and around it were noticeable claw marks.
"Merlot," Seier said with a hint of venom in her voice.
"Well, well, well. It has been years you two," The now named Merlot said.
"And a cell is ready just for you back in Vale," Seier said as she just glared at the screen.
"Seier," Shori could mutter in worry while Sun the Infernape is worried as well.
Merlot sneered and said, "You can't scare me anymore little girl, while those monsters destroyed my creation for the destruction of Vale, I still have many ready for the whole world."
"Like you have any reason to call those Pokémons monsters! You are the true monster here and I'll get you to prison where you'll never escape!" She yelled in anger as her Scroll began to crack from her grip.
"Then come and get me."
Seier's Scroll then gave in on her as it broke and she threw it to the ground. She then began to ran deeper in the building with Shori and Sun quickly following her.
The three continued walking till they saw a pipe with a green glowing liquid inside.
"This must've caused the Grimms to mutate," Shori mumbled as they continued walking till they a wider part of the tunnel filled with holes.
Then more Grimms and Androids come to attack with mutant Deathstalkers with them.
"This is getting old," Shori mumbled as he tossed Rash's Pokéball to let him out again.
The horde then charge as Rash used Sleep Powder to make some of the Grimms to fall asleep but didn't effect the Androids, so the two Trainers and the Flame Pokémon charged in to take them down.
Seier leap in to decapitate a pair of Androids then blast another with a buckshot of bullets, and Shori then grab one of the sleeping Grimms with his weapon and threw it hard to a mutant Creep so it could blow up anything in its blast radius.
Sun the Infernape then used Flamethrower to burn the Grimms and melt the Androids as he then followed it with a Close Combat to destroy the weaken chassis of the Androids.
Seier then ran up to Shori and used him as a jump platform to do an overhead slash to an Ursa Major and then a cross slash to its chest. Shori quickly caught a Beowolf by its throat, threw it to the ground, stomped its head, and used his weapon as a golf club to smack the dead Beowolf to another mutant Creep to blew it up.
The continued to cut off the nbers of the horde till Sun finished the last Android and crushed the head.
"We're getting close," Seier said.
"Then let's finish this then," Shori said but he felt something wrong in this place.
They quickly returned their Pokémons and burst in through what they thought Merlot would be but they didn't found any sign of him.
"We've been had," Seier muttered angrily till they heard Shori's Scroll ringing.
Shori picked up to see that Merlot also hacked through.
"Oh you have reached lab? To bad I was already gone," Merlot said in a mocking tone as Seier growled. "You might have stop part of my experiment, but you will never stop the rest. Especially if I get rid the two of you along with this island!"
Shori quickly destroyed his Scroll till they heard the place began to self destruction.
"Let's get out of here!" Seier said.
"You don't have to tell me twice!" The then began to ran away while the island began to get destroyed.
When they were outside, they saw the whole island slowly be consumed by the sea with no means of escape.
"To that cliff!" Seier ordered as she points to a cliffside.
They then ran for it while the stone formations around the island began to fall over, when they reached halfway to the cliffside, Seier quickly grab one of her Pokéballs with Shori following suite as both of them let out their flyers.
The two quickly jump on their flyers while the island below slowly sank to the ocean.
Shori let out a sigh and said, "We made it."
"But we didn't caught him," Seier said in a sour tone till her eyes glowed and gain a smile. "But I don't think we have to do it."
"It's them aren't they?" Shori said with a cheeky smile.
"Yeah yeah, I know that I was adamant of it, but I understand that I went overboard in it."
"Overboard? You were so adamant that you always rush in before you could finish seeing your visions,"
"I was not that bad," She said in annoyance but he wasn't convinced.
"When we heard another lead about Merlot, you quickly went to find him when you didn't know if it's true or not," Shori said while Alpha and Fox chuckles at the woman's blushing face. "But we could atleast move on now, we shouldn't worry about Merlot when those kids are on their way saving the world."
"While not as dangerous as Team Galactic's plan, but I could see them saving the world like us," Seier said with a smile, now feeling relieved with the turn of events.
"Then let's move on then, to be with our daughter that needed us."
"If time calls for us, then we should intervene if needed."
"If we are needed? We always intervene to help no matter what."
The two then share the laugh as they watch the sun began to set as the two held each other's hand as Seier could finally let go of her life's pursuit and be with her family again.

And that is it for this first of Volume 7!!
I am excited to keep this story going even more, I guess I quickly got used to making stories and probably continue towards the end of RWBY.
I would make another story if Volume 9 is still unavailable and will continue VTR till I finished the Volume of the new story.
I already have some ideas for the new story and with the RWBY Fandom, I could give more story telling with the starting Volumes unlike with VTR's Volume 1 and 2.
I would then put the new story in a two week upload since I want to give you guys some time to digest what I gave you. The update time would be the same if Volume 9 shows itself.

And finally, till I find a reliable anime or manga wiki, I will not do anything outside RWBY till I found a series that I could easily follow.
