Chapter:51 In Unknown Territory

Ruby gazes out the window of the police airship as it flies over Mantle, then turns and looks at her friends. Nora chews at the bolas restraining her wrists and Mel trying to break free, while everyone else sits silently, the only sounds being Nora's growling and the muffled chattering of the guards piloting the ship.

"Where do you think they're taking us?" Ruby asked her uncle.

"I'm gonna go with jail," Qrow said.

"Worst-case scenario: It would be prison," Mel said as he kept struggling in his binds.

"I still can't believe that fishing pole guy took us out like it was nothing," Jaune said.

"Welcome to Atlas. Those were Ironwood's Ace Operatives," Weiss said.

An unfamiliar man sitting with the group finally speaks up, "Hmm? You guys had a run-in with the Ace-Ops? Ironwood must really have a bone to pick with you."

Weiss rolled her eyes and said, "They're not that big of a deal."

"Not that big of a deal!? The Ace-Ops are the elite-of-elite military Huntsmen and Ironwood's personal attack dogs."

"So they got you too, huh?" Nora said as the man scoffed.

"Pfft! I wouldn't let myself get caught by them. I'm here because I've been speaking out against Atlas' exploitation of Mantle, and General Ironwood is trying to silence me."

"You threw a brick at her ship!" The pilot said which somehow made the man proud of himself.

"It's worth it if it gets people talking about our cause!"

"We could do better than that," Nomad whispered to Randy as he nods while the pilot let out a sigh of annoyance.

""Our cause"?" Blake questioned.

"Yes, the fight for better conditions in Mantle! Lead by the charismatic, talented, lovely Robyn Hill and her Happy Huntresses!"

The main pilot presses a button, causing the window between the cab and the back of the ship to begin slowly closing. The man notices this, stands up and begins frantically shouting to the window so the guards can hear him.

"They were all top Atlas Academy graduates, who could've signed up for the military, but Robyn and the Huntresses chose to stay in Mantle. She's gunning for a seat on the Kingdom's council, and when she gets it, she's gonna put an end to Ironwood's tyranny!"

"Happy… Huntresses?" Oscar muttered.

"Is that their real name?" Yang asked.

"Don't you think "tyranny's" a little dramatic?" Weiss asked as the man turns around to respond and looks surprised upon realizing who had just spoken.

"Easy to say for a Schnee heiress, living comfortably up in Atlas."

"Not really," Weiss said as she was still contemplating about her family.

The airship finally makes it up to the City of Atlas, and Ruby looks out at the city in awe, while Nora and Mel are once again trying to remove their restraints.

"Whoa, it's gorgeous up here!" Ruby said as it causes Jaune, Nora, Mel, and Nomad to leave their seats and look out the window with her.

"Don't let that fool you," Weiss muttered.

"Hm?" The man looked at her as he stands from his seat and looks outside. "This isn't the police station."

"It's… Atlas Academy." Qrow said.

The ship docks on a landing pad in front of Atlas Academy and is met by a pair of guards, who open the ship's rear double doors to let Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Oscar, Qrow, the three Trainers, and the two Pokémons exit. Ruby gazes up at the towering academy while more guards line up along the path leading to the building.

"I guess we will be seeing the General. For better or worse," She said.

"I'm getting nervous," Randy mumbled to himself.

The group heads up to the school while the man watches in confusion and curiosity from the airship.

"So, what do we do?" Ren asked as the group finds themselves riding a rising elevator inside the academy with their wrists still restrained, accompanied by guards.

"I don't know yet. But we should be careful with what we say," Ruby said.

"Really careful," Nomad said as one of the guards looks over his shoulder at them.

"We'll follow your lead, Ruby," Blake said quietly.

Ruby smiles but then starts to look worried again. The elevator beeps as it arrives at its destination, and the guards escort the group out into a hallway and down a flight of stairs. They arrive in a room just as James walks through, speaking to someone else.

He looked more stressed with his stubbles grown to full beard and his hair is now disheveled and swept to the left. James wore a dark-blue collared shirt and red tie, along with a white coat with dark blue cuffs, dark blue and red accents and silver buttons. He wore a white long-sleeved double-breasted jacket over the shirt, with two dark-blue belts, one across his chest, the other around his waist. He also sported dark blue pants tucked into a pair of dark blue calf high boots with red lining and large cuffs alongside silver steel toe and heel plating. He also sported a pair of white gloves.

"I swear if I have to sit through one more council meeting like that…"

He turns toward a small flight of stairs on his way to his office, accompanied by Winter, Vic, and Penny. The latter two notices the group and Penny stops with a gasp.

"Yay, you're here!" Penny said in joy while Vic smiled.

Penny's celebratory greeting catches Ironwood and Winter's attention, causing them to stop and look. Weiss steps out from behind Ruby and approaches them.

"Winter," Weiss said as Winter gasps lightly in surprise, and the sisters' reunion is quickly interrupted by Nora leaning in and holding up her bound wrists, grinning and waving her fingers.

"Anyone wanna give us a hand with these?" Nora asked as Mel also hold up his bounded wrists.

Winter takes a moment to collect herself, returning to her usual stern demeanor and addressing the guards, "You have ten seconds to take those off before I start hurting you."

The guards look at each other in confusion till finally understanding the situation, the guards frantically begin removing the bolases from everyone's arms, while Ironwood watches with a smile.

"Sorry!"

"Please, let us help you!"

"Forgive us!"

The bolases fall to the floor, giving off a purple glow and retracting the ropes before emitting a beep noise.

"Please, come in," James said as the group follows Ironwood, Winter, Vic, and Penny into Ironwood's office. "It is so good to see all of you."

"Our reception didn't really convey that," Yang said while massaging her wrists.

"Those things were really restricting on the wrists," Nomad said as he flicks his wrists to ease the pain while Randy stretches his arms.

James let out a sigh and said, "I sincerely regret how you were treated by my team."

Qrow rolls his eyes with a small huff. Ironwood walks behind his desk to sit down, and Penny and Winter take positions standing at either side of the desk while Vic stayed by the group's side.

"When a rogue airship entered our airspace, it raised some… red flags. We assumed the ship was stolen," James said.

"Stolen?" Ruby said as she nervously laughs, before taking an apologetic tone. "Okay, yeah, it was stolen."

"Sorry sir," Nomad apologized on behalf of the others.

Ironwood's eyes widen in surprise. He then smiles, and his shoulders move a tiny bit with a silent chuckle. Winter, meanwhile, finds no humor in the situation and begins scolding Weiss.

"You stole an Atlas airship?"

Weiss watches with a frown as Winter approaches her.

"What were you thinking!? You might've been shot down! How unbelievably irresponsib--"

Weiss surprises and interrupts Winter by hugging her.

"I'm sorry I worried you. But we did what we had to do," Weiss said.

"I..." But Winter sighs and hugs back, calming down. "I suppose I understand."

Winter then turns her head to glare at Qrow.

"But I cannot believe that you allowed this to happen, Qrow."

"You try stopping these kids when they have their mind set on something. Speaking of which…" Qrow then faced James. "We have some important information for you that's… confidential."

Winter returns to her position beside Ironwood's desk.

Penny moved beside Ironwood's and said, "Oh, is it about the Relics?"

"Or perhaps the Winter Maiden?" Winter said as she moved to the General's other side.

"You told them?" Qrow asked in surprise.

Ironwood stands from his desk and retrieves the Relic of Knowledge from a drawer, making it grow to its normal size as he holds it up.

"Did you really think you were the only one who got to work on a new plan after Beacon? With Ozpin gone, I needed my own team of people I could trust. So yes, I told them. The Ace-Ops too. Which is why I'm so glad you're here… with this," James said as he gestured to the Relic. "Until now, I believed it was impossible to truly turn the tide against Salem. Oz has pushed her back, has kept victory out of her claws, but she will keep returning stronger and stronger… unless we destroy her."

He places the Relic atop his desk, while Ruby looks deep in thought and said, "But… what about the Atlas Relic?"

"You mean the Staff of Creation?"

"It's safe inside the Vault!" Penny answered.

"And the Winter Maiden?" Qrow asked.

"She is secure and in stable condition," Winter answered.

"Stable condition? What does that--"

"She's, uh, not exactly a spring chicken," Qrow answered for his elder niece.

"I know how this all looks. Recalling my military? The embargo? I probably don't seem the most trustworthy right now," Ironwood admitted.

"Then why continue it?" Blake questioned.

"The people of Mantle are hurting!" Nora pointed out.

"I needed to ensure Salem couldn't infiltrate Atlas. And I wanted my military here, protecting my people," He said to them.

"But it's not protecting them! It's making everyone hate you," Yang said in frustration.

"It's a price I'm willing to pay," James said as he reaches over to a glowing panel of buttons on his desk and taps a button that resembles a table emitting light from its surface. "Just as you all have been entrusted with the knowledge of Salem's existence, I need you all to trust me. I have a plan."

Shutters come down outside the windows, darkening the room. A circle in the center of the floor bearing Atlas' emblem begins to rise up, prompting Ruby and Oscar to step off of it. As Ironwood talks and makes his way over to it, the circle continues to rise and transforms into a table.

"Ozpin believed the best way to fight Salem was to do so in secret. Whether that was the right choice or not isn't for me to say. But we find ourselves in a position of needing, well, a new approach," James said.

"And what do you suggest?" Qrow questioned.

"Yeah, what do you have that might beat her?" Nomad said.

Ironwood brings out a tiny remote and presses a button, activating a hologram display of Amity Colosseum, which hovers above the table.

"That's… Amity Colosseum," Jaune said.

"Where the Vytal Festival is held?" Oscar asked.

"You kidding, this is where you battled that other trainer?" Mel asked Vic as the orange haired teen just shrug at the shortest teen of the group.

"Indeed. When Beacon fell and everyone on Remnant lost contact with one another, I knew our current system was outdated. Amity was built to bring the nations together, and itwillserve that purpose once again," James said as he presses the button again, and the hologram Amity Colosseum gains an antenna atop it. Ruby and her friends stare at the hologram and look at each other.

"Isn't it great? We're not going to just replace Beacon Tower. Building a new tower on top of Amity Colosseum will re-establish global communications!" Penny said joyfully.

"By launching the tower high into the atmosphere, our scientists believe we can create a sort of… satellite out of reach of the Grimm and capable of maintaining global communications even if we were to lose another tower," Winter said.

"That is great," Ruby said as she could agree with that.

"Since nothing can really survive out of space, it could really be the greatest to put it in," Vic said.

"James... you don't need the entire military for this," Qrow said to the general.

"I will for the next part, where I finally tell the people about Salem," James explained.

"Huh, so that's why you withdrew your troops, to handle the panic that would break out in Atlas," Qrow said in realization of the plan.

"Yes, panic is inevitable, and panic brings Grimm. But I believe we are ready. Once Atlas has come to grips with the fight ahead, I'll use Amity Tower to spread the message to all of Remnant," The General said.

"But everything will fall apart. Grimm will be everywhere!" Weiss pointed out.

"You're right, but Atlas is willing and prepared to assist," Winter assured.

"Trying to hide the truth from the world will eventually kill us all," James said as he presses a button on his remote, and the hologram disappears, the table transforms and recedes into the floor and the shutters pull away from the windows.

"Oz spent his whole life, many lives, keeping this secret," Qrow said.

"I know. But since Beacon, things have changed," James said as he begins heading back to his desk. "Without him here to guide us, all I can do is use my best judgment."

Behind him, Oscar shifts uncomfortably. As if sensing something, Ironwood stops to look back and said, "What is it?"

"Actually, Oz isn't completely gone," Oscar said to him.

"Uh, Oscar here is… is the next Ozpin," Qrow said.

"Oz?" The General said with a smile as he quickly and eagerly approaches Oscar, who looks nervous. "I'm so glad you're here. I didn't think you--"

Oscar puts his hands up and interrupts Ironwood, as the latter crouches to Oscar's level. The farmhand then said, "Not quite. He's kind of, um, gone... at the moment."

Ironwood's smile fades, and he lowers his head.

"That's not normal," He said as he then looks back up. "How did he--"

"We don't know," Ruby cuts in as he, Qrow, and Oscar looked at her. "We were in a train crash, and ever since, well… suddenly, Oz wasn't there anymore."

"That's the worst news yet," James said as he rose to his feet. "Did you learn anything from him about the Relics before…?"

"He told us the lamp can answer three questions. But all the questions were used up already," Ruby said while hiding the fact that she is keeping the last question a secret because she felt a bad feeling in her gut, she looks to Vic and he quickly nods and keeps his mouth shut while Blake and Yang look at each other.

"Right, right," Ironwood then walks back behind his desk and stares out the window. "Ozpin told us that too, once upon a time."

He then faced the gang again, "At least we have you, Oscar. You're safe here in Atlas. Maybe together we can figure out how to bring Ozpin back."

Oscar grins and said, "Thank you, sir."

The farmhand then quickly stand in attention while having an awkward smile, "I mean, uh, general. Uh, Ironwood?"

Ironwood then picks up the Relic of Knowledge, walks over to Ruby and offers it to her.

"You're giving it back to me?" Ruby said questioningly as she looks at the General with her X shaped pupils.

"After what happened with the Ace-Ops, I don't want you to think I'm keeping anything from you, especially something as important as this. For the time being, I think it's safest with the people who brought it here," James said as he hands the Relic over to her.

"Um, thank you," She said as Ruby then shrinks the Relic and hooks it onto her belt, exchanging a look with Oscar.

"We must work together if we're to fight Salem and win. Now, if you're all on board…"

Ruby thinks it over for a few seconds, then looks at Ironwood and said, "Tell us how we can help."

"Good, because getting the Amity Tower ready to launch won't be easy," He said as he walk over to his desk. "But first, I think we need to get those weapons of yours up to our standards."

A hologram screen appears, showing footage of Blake drawing her broken katana before their fight against the Sabyrs in Mantle. Blake reacts with embarrassment.

"Remember, this is Atlas. While assisting the military, we will provide you with the best equipment our scientists can devise," Winter said.

"Ooh!" Both Nora and Mel said in awe.

"Really?" Ren asked.

"Yeah some upgrades," Nomad said while Randy shrugs since he doesn't really need one.

Yang then fist in the air and cheered, "Yeah!"

Upon exiting Ironwood's office, the group encounters the Ace-Ops once more.

"So, that was the second time I got banned. Then there was the third time when--"

"Alright, cut the chatter," The brown haired man cuts off the Faunus.

The first bulletin explains that the administration restroom is closed due to flooding from a "decimated toilet", followed by instructions to use the upper barracks restroom instead while the administration restroom is being repaired.

The second bulletin is about an upcoming "monthly all-hands meeting", during which they will honor Penny as employee of the month and show the results for a competition that was held. The bulletin also says that Ironwood holds open office hours once a month and to reach out to Stephanie Santiago to schedule a 15-minute slot with him.

The third bulletin reads as follows:

"ELECTION WATCH PARTY

•Come join to watch the results of Robyn Hill versus Jacques Schnee

•Free food and drink in the Main Atrium of the Academy"

As Ruby and her friends walk down the stairs, the Ace-Ops approach them.

"I'd like to sincerely apologize for the miscommunication down in Mantle. We didn't intend to--"

Suddenly, the tall woman of the group pushes her way past the man and the Faunus and begins frantically shaking Ruby's hand, accidentally flailing her about in the air.

"I feel so bad, honestly! If we had known who you were, we'd be laughing over a hot meal right now and--"

"Hey easy there Elm," Vic said to the tall woman as the now named Elm then drops the now-dizzy Ruby on the floor.

"I understand. You were just following orders," Ruby said as she gets to her feet, groaning, only to be spun around by Weiss.

"I mean, you could have asked us some questions first," Weiss said.

"Questions are for the weak. But we're all on the same team now. Not that I'm happy about it," The Faunus said as he crosses his arms and soon realizes that his tail is wagging. He reaches back and grabs it, much to last female member's amusement.

"We just wanted to say we're sorry. And that we're looking forward to working with you on our next mission. You might be students, but you've been fighting just as hard as we have, if not harder," The leader said.

"Exactly why I'm looking forward to seeing what you kids can do," The other female member said.

"Not everything's a competition, Hare," The pale man said to her.

Penny then enters the room and slides in front of Ruby, throwing her hands up in excitement while Vic walked just behind her.

"C'mon! Let me show you around campus," Penny said as she enthusiastically marches away, with Ruby and friends following her. Ironwood exits his office just as Qrow begins to walk away from the stairs in front of the office.

"Qrow."

Qrow stops and turns around, and James descends the stairs and approaches him.

"I meant it when I said it was good to see you again," He said.

"Uh, yeah, you too," Qrow said awkwardly as James steps forward and hugs Qrow, who looks confused at first but then hugs back with a smile and an eye roll. Elsewhere in the school, Penny and Vic leads Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Oscar, and the three Trainers through various hallways, while the group becomes more and more tired as the tour goes on.

"So that way's the cafeteria, and that way is the training rooms. Oh, and over there are the classrooms!" Penny said as Ruby stretches, yawning loudly. The group comes to a stop, with everyone looking exhausted. Nora leans against Ren, asleep on her feet while Mel and Randy looked like they are gonna fall over.

"This all looks great, Penny. But where are we staying?" Ruby asked.

"Remember, you're in Atlas now. As the most well-funded school on Remnant, every teen at Atlas Academy gets their own room! And if that wasn't enough--"

"So we're staying in the dorms?" Ren asked as Penny did a dance of excitement and followed it by a hop which made Vic chuckle.

"It'll be just like Beacon again!" Penny said in excitement.

"So you guys better get some good night sleep," Vic said.

Finally, Nora then collapses on the floor with Mel and Randy followed suite.

Down in Mantle, it has begun raining. Ironwood and Winter's broadcast videos continue to play on screens around the city.

"The Kingdom of Atlas will remain strong, and it will remain safe. That is my promise."

Carrying a bag and an umbrella, with a set of new rings on his fingers, Watts walks along a sidewalk while talking to Tyrian through a communication device that is placed in his ear.

He also began to wear a large, symmetrical purple and pink coat with fur lining along its hood.

"For the last time, a singular hideout makes us susceptible to discovery," Arthur said as he hacks the traffic post across the street to change it to allow pedestrians to cross as he walks across the street.

"But what if we're seen? What if we're recognized?" Tyrian asked.

"We stay mobile," He said as he then heard sound of multiple stabbings can be heard over the communication device.

"We're walking around a city with a thousand eyes."

Watts then changes another traffic signal and crosses the street without pause, causing cars to come screeching to a halt.

The scientists let out a sigh and said, "While cybersecurity has been stepped up in Atlas, as usual, none of the code was updated in Mantle."

He walks across another street, hacking another system to make a blockade of posts rise up from the road, which a car crashes into as it swerves to go around him.

"Oh no! Gosh!" A woman screamed as she ran to check the driver. "Are you okay!?"

Tyrian chuckles and said, "That certainly sounds useful."

"It should be," Arthur said as he pauses and presses his thumb to one of his rings, which glows cyan. All nearby security cameras power down. "I helped write that code, after all."

Muffled screaming is heard from inside a building, while the camera next to its door powers down. The door opens, and Tyrian steps out, shutting the door behind him with a happy sigh.

"Well, I suppose we all have our talents," The Faunus said.

Tyrian walks away down an alley, while a pool of blood flows out from under the door. The blood slowly makes its way into the view of the hacked security camera.

Omake:

Pokemon Study: The Johto Region

It was weeks ago after Shori followed his wife, the students in Shade Academy were worried for their teacher.

The door to the room suddenly opens to reveal the two Champions in their proper teaching attire as the students look in shock.

"Hey there kids," Shori greeted them.

"Professor!!" The student shouted as they now feel relieved for the safety of their teacher while Shori let out a laugh.

"It's good to see you kids again."

"Where were you Professor?" Sun asked.

"Well..." He then look at his wife as he grab her hand and faced his students. "Let's just say that we have some unfinished business."

Before anyone could ask for anymore questions, Seier quickly said, "Enough questions, we still have class."

The class decided to sit down as Shori step forward.

"Now let's talk about another region, the other region connecting my home region, Johto," Shori said.

"We don't have any tales about it since we never lived there, but we do have some recordings from our other student' parent," Seier said as she quickly went to the back and grabbed a projector.

The female Champion then turned it on as it showed Victoria Valkyrie, mother of Vic and Nora Valkyrie.

"This is Day 1 of my digital diary and it's the start of my journey! I am so excited~" Victoria said in joy which caused the class to laugh till the projector showed a new recording which showed a conflicted Victoria.

"This is Day 2 and I... I don't know what to do, I... I mean I was excited but this!!" Victoria then showed the back of her hand to reveal a crude N tattoo on it. "I talk about the Professor about this and it would forever disappear if I reached the end of my journey or I quit! Quit!! I want to have a normal journey but this! It all went down the drain!"

The students look at each other till a Pokémon walk right next to Victoria.

It is a bipedal, crocodilian Pokémon with well-developed jaws. It has red eyes with ridges above them, black markings around its eyes, and several sharp teeth. On its chest is a yellow, V-shaped marking that extends to its arms; there is a thin line through the center of the marking. Totodile has five fingers and three toes. Down its back is a row of three red spines with a small, red ridge on either side. The tip of its tail has a single red spine as well.

Victoria gave out a sad smile as she pats the small Pokémon and said, "I'm okay Caimen. Go ahead and sleep, I'll be there soon."

It then showed a new clip of a slightly relieved Victoria.

"This is Day 3 and I am slightly calmed down a little, I got Moe the Sentret, Johnson the Geodude, and Chinook the Pidgeot near the Professor's home town and I am startled you know," She said as Caimen walk beside her and she rub his head. "It already sucks that this curse wouldn't let me get another Pokémon in the same route, but if let one of my Pokémon lose in battle, they're done! Ready the graves!"

This shocked the students as they look at their teachers in worry. Shori and Seier noticed this and kept quiet till it showed another clip of completely relieved Victoria.

"This is Day 10 and I feel quite relieved now, got Monarch the Caterpie, Bacchus the Zubat, and Bell the Bellsprout. But that isn't what matters. THIS IS!!" She then pulled a Bellsprout but it was different.

It was a Shiny.

"I GOT A SHINY!!" Victoria said giddily while The couple look on in jealousy. "I named her Autumn and she is a treasure to me, nothing will change my mind!"

"Fast forward it," Shori said bitterly as Seier did that to show a happy Victoria.

"So I trained my team till Monarch evolved, and I beat the Flying Gym with Johnson alone! Good thing I have him because I will never use Autumn to this Gym. I am currently in the forests again to train the team and Monarch evolved again," The now evolved Monarch then flew around Victoria as she giggled. "I think things are slowly turning around for me."

Another clip then showed a traumatized Victoria.

"I-I was wrong," Tears began to come out from her eyes. "I-I thought that Moe could handle it b-but I was wrong. It was so strong and it killed her."

This caused everyone to gasp in shock while the two Champions look on with sadness in their eyes.

"I-I tried forgetting but seeing my own Pokémon dying in front of me is horrifying. I don't think I could handle this, but I don't really want to give up. I know it's selfish but I just can't do it!"

Seier quickly change to another clip to show Victoria now looking nervous.

"It's Day 15 I guess, both Caimen and Chinook evolved when I continued training, but I feel scared to everything I would see is a danger to my team. For now I guess, I'm gonna train for my next Gym."

The next clip then showed a now relieved Victoria.

"I did it, I beat the Gym with Johnson and Bacchus, I just need to go to the next town I guess. So I trained my team again till I get to the next city. I heard that the Gym is super hard so I have two days to prepare."

Seier then changed the clip again to see the young Trainer now happy.

"My fight with Whitney was a close call, but I did it with Autumn slowing her ace down while Caimen lowered its stats down enough for Johnson to take it out. So after that, Autumn and Bacchus then evolved while I caught Wooly the Mareep."

"At least it mellows a little," Sun muttered as Neptune nods in agreement while the clip changed.

"Alright! Day 24 and I beat the 4th Gym with Bacchus, now a Crobat, along with Chinook and Monarch. Then it clicked on me, I'll get Monarch to the top as the Champion's Butterfree!" Victoria said in excitement as Bacchus and Monarch flew to her.

The clip then changed to a slightly drenched Victoria.

"Day 30 and I finished the 5th Gym with Bacchus and Wooly, who evolved along with Caimen to their final stage, and beaten the 6th Gym with Johnson, now a Graveler, and Caimen. I celebrated by having a swim with my team in Olivine City," Victoria said till she got tackled by a new Pokémon.

It is a quadrupedal canine Pokémon. It has orange fur with black stripes along its back and legs. The fur on its muzzle, chest, belly, and tail is beige, as is an additional tuft of fur on top of its head. Its coat is noticeably longer on its chest and tail. It has gray eyes, a black nose, and large, round ears with beige interiors. Its forepaws have two visible claws, while its hind paws have three toes each. Each paw has a brown pad.

Victoria then let out a giggle and said, "Of course I wouldn't forgot my new team member. Say hello Ferno."

The little let out a cute bark to the screen which caused half the students to look at him with looks of adoration.

"I caught him stealing someone's meal and I chased him, then he saw me and began to cower in fear, I of course showed him that I'm not a threat and gave him some food. Eventually, he began to follow me around and I decided to catch him, he deserves a lot of love after what happened to him."

The clip then changed to Victoria inside an icy cave in winter clothing while a fire is lit on behind her.

"Day 32, when I entered Mahogany Town, I met Team Rocket, I heard that they were disbanded by their boss, I of course beat them and went to their hideout to stop their operation along with the current Champion Lance."

"So my theory was correct," Shori mumbled. He was quite confused when he checked the young women's history, so he speculated that there are multiple worlds doing there own thing, he checked both of his wife and Vic's history and slowly began to believe it till he now watched the clips and thought of continuing his research on it.

"I then beat the 7th Gym with Wooly, Caimen, and Ferno. So I am here in the Ice Path so I could get to Blackthorn, it's freezing here so I really hope that I could get out of here tomorrow. Before going back to Goldenrod to finally stop Team Rocket for good."

The next clip then showed Victoria now in a comfy room.

"I finally beat all the Gyms, I beaten the 8th with Wooly and Caimen, so I'm gonna get some rests till I go on the road again so I could meet up with some Kimono Girls in Ecruteak City."

The next clip then showed a broken Victoria.

"... I'm sorry Autumn," Victoria said as a single tear drop from her eyes.

Everyone wince at this and Seier quickly change the clip to show a determined Victoria.

"Day 39, I am currently training my team for the League along with many others. My final team is Caimen the Feraligatr, Monarch the Butterfree, Bacchus the Crobat, Wooly the Ampharos, Ferno the Growlithe, and the replacement, Nezu the Raticate. I'll train them hard till I beat the League."

The next clip then showed a more serious Victoria.

"Day 45, I beat the competition and now preparing for the League. My team is still the same but doesn't mean that I don't have to train them. My fight is in a week and I don't want to miss my chances."

The next clip then showed an overjoyed Victoria.

"Day 49, I finally beat the League!! I couldn't have done it without the help of my team. Caimen and Wooly helped me with the Psychic Elite Four; Monarch, Wooly, and Ferno helped me with the Poison Elite Four; Caimen, Bacchus, and Wooly helped me with the Fighting Elite Four; and lastly I beat the Dark Elite Four with Caimen, Monarch, Bacchus, and Wooly.

The last obstacle is the Champion Lance and I beaten him with only Caimen and Wooly. I finally become Champion. But I am not done yet, I have a new destination to go to: to defeat the Legendary Trainer Red himself.Of course I have to rest and celebrate with my team for a few months, so I have to do it next year."

The next clip then showed a slightly older Victoria on the base of a mountain.

"It has been months after I become Champion and I reached my final destination. I have beaten the Gyms in Kanto so I have a total of 16 Badges. Unfortunately, Nezu died when I train for the Gyms, so I mourn for him till I got over it in a week, and replaced him with Tiny the Snorlax. I of course demolish the Gyms with my new team and quickly headed to Mt. Silver to finish my quest."

Finally, the last clip showed a sleepy Victoria in her pajamas as she sat on her desks.

"Well I did it, I finished it all and it is all thanks of my team," Victoria said as she showed the back of her hand to see the tattoo now disappeared. "Tiny took care of his Pikachu and Blastoise before taking a Thunderbolt and two Focus Blasts, Wooly took out Lapras, Caimen took out Snorlax with a powerful Superpower, Bacchus stalling Venusaur with Confuse Ray and Fly, and Ferno taking out his Charizard with the use of his Ability and Physical capabilities with Strength and Extreme Speed."

Victoria then lean on her chair with her hands on the back of her head, "I guess this is the end of my diary, I would continue helping my dad here in Ecruteak while I mourn yearly for my fallen comrades, till I wait for a new adventure just come in my doorstep and I would see what's new to know."

The blonde girl then leans forward on the camera, "Well this is Victoria Senshi, and this is the true end of my journey. If anyone ever discover this, then I hope that anyone that knows about this would learn to not do."

Silence then filled the room till the bell rang.

Seier coughs and said, "Alright class, we'll continue this next time, and we'll talk about Hoenn. I hope you can wait for Vic's tale?"

The class quickly went outside to leave the two teachers alone, both were still thinking of the blondes journey and compared it to theirs.

"That girl survived the run with three deaths, just one short to her son," Shori said.

"You think that they have something to cope with those loses?" Seier asked as her husband shrug.

"Let's wait and see till we get some contact with Vic. So did you get Fox to go to him?" He asked.

"Yes I did, so let's get them ready to other aspects next," Seier said as Shori nods.

Omake end

And that is it for this chapter.

Oh yeah! Second Chapter of Volume 7.

Doing another Pokémon Study really give me some troubles on making but I don't really mind.

I would really like to do more RWBY stories even if it's finished like some people still doing stories on Naruto and Bleach despite the two being finished along with some older anime that also finished.

I could really do a lot of types of stories because of the esthetics of the show.

Sci-fi and fantasy is a very strange combination if you ask me, but it would be a perfect part of it for a crossover story.

I already am thinking of doing it with Fate and other series that I know of.

With me being an impatient guy that I am, RWBY really let me do what I wanted to make out of it. While I do still have restricted creative freedom because I am more into the simple life, I could still see that with some help, I could really do some decent stories.

So for now, I just hope you enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you guys in the next one.

Vic out Peace.
