"DUEL!" Kaiba and Kevin called together as Alexis, Atticus, Zane, Jaden, and Mrs. Yuki stepped back to watch.

"Like I said you can go first, I'm looking forward to seeing what you're capable of Kevin Yuki." Kaiba told him.
Kevin 1st Turn:
"Got it." Kevin said drawing looking before saying, "And I'll start by setting 3 cards, and that's it there."
Kaiba 1st Turn:
"Three facedown cards and that's all?" Kaiba questioned. "You clearly have something up your sleeve but for now I summon Assault Wyvern in attack mode."

"As for the cards, I'll pick these three." Kaiba smirked before revealing all three Blue-Eyes White Dragons.
"So it doesn't matter what I'll pick. Clever, you can have the middle one." Kevin told Kaiba.
Kaiba nodded adding it before shuffling the other two dragons into his deck. "I'm sure someone of your skill can see the benefit of that kind of move. Though it doesn't mean I'll go easy on you, I reveal my Blue-Eyes in order to call Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon to my field."
Alternative rose up roaring.

'He has something?' Kevin thought at that.
"I activate Burst Stream of Destruction, since I control a Blue-Eyes White Dragon this destroys all your monsters." Kaiba declared.

"It might prevent my Blue-Eyes from attacking but since this is a spell it gets past your monster's protection, you're disappointing me Kevin."
"Huh, but you don't have one." Kevin said to him.
"My Alternative Dragon counts as Blue-Eyes while on the field." Kaiba revealed as his dragon fired a blast at First of the Dragons.
The blast destroyed First of the Dragons as Kevin grunted from the shockwave.
"Assault Wyvern attack his life points directly!" Kaiba called.
The dragon charged attacking Kevin who called, "I activate Jar of Greed!"

After drawing he was struck. (Kevin: 1750) That was before a capsule popped up.
"What is that thing?" Kaiba questioned.
"Damage Condenser." Kevin answered, "By discarding a card, I can summon a monster who's points are equal or lower then the damage I just took."

Kevin added the card as the dragon shattered, "But I can use another ability."
"What now?" Kaiba questioned.
"It's Keeper of the Shrine!" Kevin called as a dragonic shaman appeared.

The second dragon appears.
"And with it's summoning I add a third copy." Kevin said adding the card, "Then Dragonic Tactics!"

"By sacrificing 2 Dragons, I can summon a level 8 dragon." Kevin said to Kaiba.
"By all means." Kaiba smirked.
The two vanished as Kevin called, "Come Tyrant Dragon!"
A crimson scaled dragon appeared roaring.

"Tyrant Dragon, that's an impressive monster but it's weaker than my Alternative Dragon." Kaiba reminded him.
"I know. Tyrant Dragon attack Assauly Wyvern!" Kevin called as Tyrant Dragon coat itself in fire attacking the lesser dragon.
Assault Wyvern roared before shattering.

"That's my turn." Kevin told him.
Kaiba 3rd Turn:
Kaiba drew his card. "I set this and now Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon destroy Tyrant Dragon, Blue Lightning!"
The dragon attacked Tyrant destroying it. (Kevin: 1650)
"Well it summons back Keeper of the Shrine!" Kevin called as the Shaman reappeared.
"Your move." Kaiba told him. "This is your last turn."

Hearing that Kevin drew, "Well first off I'll use Pot of Greed."

Kaiba nodded at that. Kevin looked before smiling. Kaiba raised an eyebrow at that.
"I activate Harpie's Feather Duster!" Kevin called.

In a burst of flame Tyrant Dragon rose up again roaring.
"Tyrant Dragon is still too weak." Kaiba pointed out.
Kevin grinned to him showing the other card he drawn.

Kaiba's eyes widened in shock. "That card!"
"Yup, and it means Tyrant Dragon is breaking through!" Kevin grinned as Tyrant Dragon absorbed Alternative's power.

"And now Tyrant Dragon go!" Kevin called as Tyrant Dragon charges at Alternative.
Kaiba's eyes widened as the attack hit creating a massive explosion.
"Did that work you reckon'?" Atticus asked.
"Hopefully." Alexis admitted.
"We're about to find..." Zane started before they heard a roar.
"Huh?" Kevin asked at this.
"One of my facedown cards was Return of the Dragon Lords." Kaiba explained revealing the card as the dragon survived.

Kevin wins the duel!
"He won... Kevin, you won!" Jaden cheered.
Kevin looked stunned before smiling to Kaiba, "It was an honor to battle you Kaiba."
"The honor was mine. Though I don't plan on taking this defeat lying down. We'll duel again one day." Kaiba smiled before turning to Mrs. Yuki. "Think about what I said, we'll be going."
Hearing that Mrs. Yuki gave thought as Kaiba headed back to his limo.
Atticus: It wasn't the most dramatic duel, but all of us know one day Kevin and Kaiba will have a match the world will remember for a long time.
Flashback End...
"But until then I continue growing stronger." Kevin said to the group.
"Exactly." Zane smiled.
"But not strong enough against Malek it seems." Kevin admitted.
"Then we should put things in motion to correct that."
They looked over. It was Camula. "We'll have to discuss me staying as you suggested, but once we do there is something I can assist you with."
"With what?" Syrus asked.
"The power of the vampires." she answered. "Synchro Summoning."
"You would really give me such a powerful ability?" Kevin asked her.
"Would you prefer I don't?" Camula asked him.
"No, I would be glad too." Kevin said with a smile.
She smiled back.
"Should we let you two focus?" Atticus asked them.
"Once my arrangements are finalized." Camula answered before pausing. "Though will this be a good starting point?"
She handed Kevin a card

"Well, I guess we should talk to Chancellor Sheppard now?" Atticus asked.
With that they headed to his office. They heard him talking to Dr. Crowler and Banner. Kevin knocked on the door.
"Come in." Sheppard mentioned.
They walked in at this.
"Is there something we can help you with?" Banner asked only to flinch slightly noticing Camula.
"Well I want some living arrangements made for Camula, and get some clothes for her." Kevin admitted to them.
"Alexis, are you aware of any space in the dorm?" Sheppard asked.
"There is a empty room close to mine." Alexis admitted.
"Is that acceptable?" Sheppard asked her.
"Yeah it should fine." Alexis answered.
Camula nodded in agreement.
"And now for clothing." Kevin added to them.
"About that, I assume I need to be tested to remain on this island?" Camula inquired.
"Well normally but you already were from beating me." Dr. Crowler admitted to her.
"Not to offend, but you do remember I spied on your deck correct?" Camula asked him.
"Well despite that you still proved to be a powerful duelist." Banner admitted to her.
She nodded at that. "If you're certain, thank you for allowing me to stay. Though, I doubt the rest of the Shadow Riders will be making themselves at home on the island."
"Who else are they?" Kevin asked her.
"Tomorrow, I'd prefer to get settled first if you all don't mind." she told him.
They all nodded at this.
Later...
Soon they helped get Camula's room ready for her, and Bastion had even made her bed look like a coffin saying it should have her feel at home.
"I appreciate your assistance, I will see you all tomorrow evening." Camula mentioned calmly.
"If you need anything just call or send a bat to one of us." Kevin told her with a smile.
She nodded with a small smile. "You're a strange person, but not in a bad way."
With that she closed the door to head to sleep.
"Am I really that strange?" Kevin asked the group.
"You're falling for a vampire, you have to be a little strange." Atticus smirked.
Kevin only chuckled shaking his head.
"Can you guys excuse us?" Alexis asked suddenly.
They nodded hearing that. Jaden blushed before walking off with Alexis. She hugs him. Atticus smelled seeing that.
That night in Kevin's room...
Something was at his window.
"Huh?" Kevin opened the window.
A bat flew in before landing on his desk.
"Oh one of Camula's bats. What is it?" Kevin asked it with a smile.
"Do you have a few minutes?" Camula called from outside.
"Yeah, I do." Kevin answered.
"Could you come out to the lake?" she requested.
"Kay." Kevin said walking out to the lake.
Camula was there in an Obelisk Blue uniform before turning to him. "Kevin, do you remember what you said during our match?"
"That I'm different?" Kevin guessed.
"Well yes, but more about how you offered to help me." she mentioned. "Your words were genuine back then."
"And, I will keep them." Kevin smiled to her.
She smiled back. "I believe you."
Camula then gently kissed him. Kevin blinked before kissing her back.
"Goodnight Kevin, I'll see you tomorrow." she smiled softly before smirking slightly. "Though, I won't go easy on teaching you either."
"Yeah, I get that." Kevin chuckled a little.
She chuckled back before turning and walking off.
"Oh Camula!" Kevin called.
She turned to him. "Yes?"
"Just remember that I will protect you." Kevin smiled to her.
She stared at him in shock hearing that before nodding. "The same applies to me."
Kevin nodded with a smile walking off.
