Chapter Three

Bishop and Torres headed for the stairs to the third floor level of the motel. Once they had reached the level with Torres having the duplicate key card in his hand while Bishop had her weapon in her hand to be ready for anything.

Taking a moment to take a deep breath after climbing three flights of stairs instead of using the elevator on the other side. They headed on down looking for the number of the door and finding it moments later.

"Bishop are you able to see anything?" Nick had to asked with curiosity setting in with his nature.

She looked through the window to see a body of a female on the floor of the living room. "Yeah! A female body Nick. I suggest you open that door quickly?" She cried out with the door opening and the both of them moving inside to place on their gloves with Nick turning the body over with his gloves and of a woman in her fifties with two shots to the head. No doubt had been done with a silencer.

Bishop called in to NCIS to send Palmer over to the address. Since he's been busy with the first body of the husband and Marine recruiter. "Yes! Palmer another dead body to keep you and your assistant busy." She stated over the damn phone. She was cranky, hungry and most of all tired. She hung up the phone to investigate the rooms as with Nick checking her pockets to find in her hand strands of black hair as if there was a struggle before she was shot to death.

He placed them into a evidence bag to tag it for Kasie and other items. Meanwhile Bishop found the following under the bed with a small plastic bag of diamonds inside and a card with a clue. She had no idea what it meant. However maybe Gibbs did for when he shows up for work in the morning.

Kasie's lab 10.30 P.M.

She was exhausted having fallen asleep at the computer terminal when the information she was looking for with the partial prints on the key card dinged to wake her.

She brought it up completely after taking off her glasses to wipe her eyes. She had placed her glasses back on to read the name or rather two names to be one Marine Recruiter Kendall Lorenzo and someone named Ex marine shooter Alex Roberts out of Quantico and Camp Pendleton of California. The F.B.I. and NCIS database shows that Roberts had been convicted several times over the span of twenty years and has been released 12 years ago due to lack of evidence on the last murder for which Lorenzo and Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs were involved.

"DAMN!" Kasie had to call Gibbs with this latest Intel and no doubt will have him hot under the collar.

She moved to her office to call Gibbs on her cell phone since he did say to call any time...

Gibbs basement...

Since he was anxious and unable to sleep leaving Loreile upstairs in the bedroom sleeping. He had told her too try and sleep even though she was arguing with him about it.

Working on a new cradle for their unborn son Shane Jackson Gibbs. The original one he had given it to Bishop and Nick since they are expecting and will be married in a few weeks. This all happened just after he had burned rule 12 never date a co-worker and with his blessing.

Gibbs was sanding the bottom with having put it all together. It was a beautiful piece of handy work with his hands as always. Even though at times his hands will shake from the recent nerve damage caused by Hernandez in Paraguay.

Having left the cellphone on the table next to his bourbon. His phone went off with his usual ringtone with him answering it. It had showed that Kasie from NCIS was calling him. "What do you have Kasie?" He had to asked in a very serious tone.

"Bad news Gibbs. It would seem there were two partial prints. One was of Lorenzo and the other was the same man you and Lorenzo were after years ago named Ex Marine shooter Alex Roberts." She wasn't liking this one bit...

"Are you sure about this Kasie?" He takes a sip of his bourbon in the small glass.

"Yeah I am sure Gibbs. I was able to check it twice before calling you with the results. His name had come up on the F.B.I. and NCIS database."

"I am wondering if Special Agent Tobias Fornell knows anything about this shooter?" He suggested saying to Kasie over the phone.

"Hey man! That's up to you, Gibbs with calling your friend at this late hour." As Gibbs looks at the time on his wrist watch.

"I will call him anyway just to cover my bases Kasie thanks for your help." Gibbs said calmly when all of a text came in on his phone..."Kasie check your computer to see if your gotten the same text with another body found at the same motel for where Lorenzo was staying?"

A moment later with calling back..."Yeah Gibbs. Nick and Bishop are on the way back with the wife's body Diane having been shot as well. Jimmy had gone to the address to pick up the body along with the local Metro police. I will need to go it seems there is more evidence coming in from the site. Bishop just sent me another message. Good night and no doubt I will have a report for you in the morning."

Gibbs now had to call Tobias Fornell with now two bodies now involved...

Tobias Fornells home

Fornell was in his bedroom reading three files having brought them home from work. He had a pile of work to get done and including finally catching the kidnapper of a little girl once the ransom was made an while tainted with a tracking device to catch the abductor a week ago. The parents were extremely happy with the results that their eight year old daughter was found.

Fornells daughter Emily had gone back to school after finishing up with her rehab and the principal was pleased that Emily decided to come back to finish up her courses.

Fornell had left his cellphone on the side of him on the double bed. When his phone went off showing it was his best friend Special Agent Gibbs at 11.30 at night. He smiled to see his name along with wondering what was going on...

"Hey Gibbs are you bored or something this evening?" He joked slightly with his friend with Loreile in her seventh month of pregnancy.

"Shut up! Tobias this is serious with me calling. I need to know on whether the F.B. anything on an ex marine shooter named Alex Roberts? His name has come up on a key card with a partial print of a double murder this evening."

"Christ Sake Jethro I have just finished reading a Intel file on him from years ago. But when I read your name and Ex Marine recruiter Kendall Lorenzo I would assume he would eventually pop up again. Who was the two stiffs?"

"Lorenzo and his wife Diane at the motel they were staying at. I will know tomorrow on just what was the other evidence found at the motel investigated by Bishop and Torres. Listen I will talk more to about it another time with being late." Gibbs said with a loud yawn over the phone.
