Anger management

Chapter Five

Gibbs walked into the bullpen with Bishop and McGee calling him over to the plasma screen with information for him. "What do we have everyone?" He asked with seeing the names of the two places for where the note paper was purchased by Alex Roberts.

"These are the two places with one in Glendale and the other in Alexandra that he could of purchase the order of note paper. Nick and I will take the Alexandra store, while you and McGee can check out the Glendale store." Bishop will have Gibbs chuckling with her ordering him around.

"Ok then let's get moving before it gets dark. It's a possible chance that Roberts just might be waiting for me at the store." Gibbs grabbed his gun, badge and I.D. along with coat with the temperatures dropping slightly outside.

"Boss don't you think it's a bad idea to put yourself out there as a possible target for this Alex Roberts?" Tim will asked with the statement to have Gibbs turning to face him near his computer terminal.

"It's why I need to do this to try and catch him before he kills anyone else." Neither Tim, Bishop nor Torres liked the idea that he was once again taking chances with his life and not thinking about the others in his life. "Let's go already everyone...

It didn't take long for Bishop and Torres to park their vehicle across the street from the Read & Write store busy with patrons both inside and walking by. "You have the note with you, Nick?" Bishop will asked with closing the car door anxious to check out the place.

"Of course I have it bro!" Nick said to have his future wife pissed with his altitude.

"Look I am not in any mood for your cockiness and nonsense Nick. We have a job that needs to be done and Gibbs life is in danger with this nut case."

"Well I am sorry Eleanor if you're in a bad mood. I know the unborn child is no doubt causing you some trouble with the nausea?" He will say with quickly touching her belly before walking across the street with waiting for the green light to walk.

Walking inside was great filled with all types of samples for when it comes to note paper, special designs for weddings and etc. They had walked over to the counter for where they hoped was an employee and three registers.

The older man with grey hair named Stromm Berkman in his early sixties came over to them. "Can I help you and welcome to The Read & Write store?"

Bishop shows him their badge and I.D. along with the note paper. "We are looking for the owner on who would of have purchased this type of note paper for writing. We know this store and another in Glendale has this brand."

"Sure I can ma'am. I can check my computer system for when this type of note paper was purchase. We are connected to that same store in Glendale and they will be able to tell you who and where they live with the address on file. Let me call an employee to take over the counter while we head into the back."

Walking into the back room and the two computers to keep track of inventory. Mr. Berkman brought up the stock number of the note paper showing two names having brought the items. And one of them was Alex Roberts and the other a Marine recruiter name Brock Leo living and working in Washington, D.C.

When Bishop and Torres saw Roberts name and the Marine recruiter. They were wondering on whether that Roberts might be going after him as well. Even though there wasn't any connection no doubt with Kendall Lorenzo. "We need to be calling Gibbs and let him know about the other Marine recruiter...

Gibbs was driving to Glendale instead of McGee being slow at times with his driving and getting on Gibbs nerves. Gibbs cell phone was going off inside his coat pocket asking McGee to take it out and handed it to him with Gibbs pulling over to the curve without any trouble.

"Bishop go ahead. What's going on?" He asked with a sense of curiosity.

"Nick and I are at the Read & Write store. The owner of the store had verified that it was indeed Alex Roberts had purchased the note paper at the store your heading for. Along with another Marine Recruiter living in Washington, D.C. named Brock Leo. Ever hear of him Gibbs?" Bishop had to asked with knowing a great many marines and recruiters from over the years.

"Yeah I have. But he never worked with me on a case with Kendall Lorenzo. Do you think that Roberts just might be going after him Bishop?"
Gibbs responded with needing her judgement with the question.

"I would think so Gibbs. We have his address in Washington, D.C. so we will head there while you check out Roberts address. Nick is texting you the address now. Good luck." Bishop replied in kindness hoping for the best with the address.

"Thanks. We are heading for the Glendale Apartment complex now." He ends the call to continue getting back onto the road.

Stromm Beckman had called Alex Roberts to inform him that Special Agent Gibbs and another NCIS agent was on the way over to his address.

Roberts answers his phone setting up the last of the charges to blow up his apartment and hopefully taking out Gibbs and his associate. "I will be ready Stromm. Just be sure to have my alternate place ready in case the explosion doesn't take out Gibbs completely. Meanwhile once I am done here I will be heading for Washington D.C. to take out the other recruiter Brock Leo."

"Good luck my son." Stromm hangs up the phone to head back to the counter and his customers. He said to his son having changed his name years ago...

Twenty minutes later parking across the street from the apartment complex.
