So it turns out I gave the wrong chapter to my beta, but it's been sorted now. Since I'm back at university now I don't have much time to write, I'm off in December so I may write a chapter or two. Sorry I's taken so long.
I may have taken on a slightly different style since starting University (though my grammar appears to have stayed the same), but I do hope that you are still enjoying this story. I am eager to hear what you think of it and ideas for what you think might be happening next.

Chapter 47 –
Naruto frowned sensing that familiar chakra again. He sped up causing Jiraiya to run after him. They arrived at the ruins of a castle, Naruto scanned around, Kabuto and Orochimaru had been here, he didn't recognise the other two signatures here. He glanced to Jiraiya as he traced the wall.
"We are too late, she's already gone."
"Did she smash this wall?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, she's very strong." Jiraiya acknowledged.
"So this is here chakra then?" Naruto turned round his eyes following a path as he traced the chakra source.
"You can sense chakra of course! Yes this was done by her. Can you find her?"
"She's still in the village, but I keep losing it." Naruto frowned, "there's a strong scent of snake and a scent of blood here too." He turned to Jiraiya.
"Let's move quickly." They left the ruins of the castle.

Naruto's head turned as they passed a bar. Jiraiya stopped looking back at the boy, watching the frown on his face. He looked up noticing the bar and how late it was, he turned walking into the bar. He looked up as Naruto followed him, making eye contact with a blonde haired woman.
"Hey!" he pointed. "Tsunade!"
"Jiraiya. Why are you at a place like this?"
Naruto looked to the woman Jiraiya had pointed and shouted at. She was a light skinned woman with brown eyes and straight blonde hair that reached past her shoulders. She had a rather large bust. Was wearing a green haori, over a grey kimono style blouse and he couldn't make out much more because of the table in the way. Her hand was playing with a necklace of some kind. His eyes travelled to her companion. She was of a younger age, with black shoulder length hair and black eyes. She was wearing a bluish black kimono with white trimmings. A pig in a red jacket and pearls was sat at her feet.
"Finally we've found you."
"Hello, I'm Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto held his hand out to Tsunade's companion.
"Shizune." She took his hand.
Jiraiya settled down in the booth opposite Tsunade.
"May I join you?" Naruto asked.
Shizune nodded her eyes flicking between the two sannin. Naruto ate carefully listening to the conversation going on around him.
"You're not the first, person I've seen to bring back memories today."
"So you did meet with Orochimaru." Jiraiya's eyes flicked to Naruto, as he calmly ate his meal. "What happened?"
"Nothing much," Tsunade's eyes flicked to Shizune in the same manner, "Just a little greeting. So why did you come to see me?" Naruto slowed his chewing.
"To tell you the truth, it was for a medical reason originally, but the leaf village has requested that you become the fifth Hokage. The third is..." he glanced to Naruto again.
"It was Orochimaru's work. He mentioned it."
"May I ask a question? I know you three are called the legendary sannin, but what was it that drove you all to leave the leaf? Was it something for each of you or something that together drove you away?"
"Who's the kid?"
"I'm sorry; I am Naruto Uzumaki Sarutobi, a pleasure to meet you." Naruto bowed his head. "Just I never got to ask what happen to the third's students."
"It happened a long time ago."
"But it has still affected you, each of you. It's why you will decline the position, but I ask that you still come back to Konoha, your medical expertise is in dire need right now."
"You're awfully polite. But you are right. I decline." Tsunade nodded.
"Then come back, Kakashi and Sasuke have suffered trauma, Hikaru won't wake up, Hinata had something done to her by Kabuto, Orochimaru's spy and Rock Lee is too badly hurt to do anything right now. Please come back to help my friends."
"Naruto..."
"No you said she was the only one that could be Hokage,"
"She is. She was the one that brought us victory in battle. No one has been able to acquire her techniques. And she is the granddaughter of the first Hokage, so she is the most appropriate person for the position."
"Did you meet the first? And the second?" Naruto asked head tilted.
"You're a polite fool, worse than the last apprentice you had." Tsunade turned to Jiraiya and smirked. "He really had the talent to become a top rated ninja."
"I am nothing like him. Please refrain from comparing me to him." The room went cold as all eyes turned to Naruto. "The fourth was Hokage; he gave his life for the village, like all the Hokage have done before them."
"And all of them were foolish. Life is not a game, you can't risk it like you do with money, and those that put it at risk are nothing but fools. My grandfather and the second both focused too much on bringing peace to our home, more than anything else but as a result, they died in the middle of their dreams like losers. It's the same for Sarutobi Sensei. He died because he was too old to live in his dreams. Being Hokage is shit. No one but a fool would do it!"
"You don't understand what it is to be Hokage. My grandfather died because he couldn't cut the bond of his students, Orochimaru should have died a long time ago. And he did fulfil his dream, he got to watch his family grow. He had two amazing sons, two amazing grandchildren, and his legacy lives on. He got to see the village grow and flourish, watch as people took on their will of fire, to fight for their king. I cannot stand that you would bad mouth the Hokage so badly. My grandfather was an amazing man, flawed yes but we all have flaws, if dying so that the next generation can live is foolish than I would die a thousand times over to protect them. Because it doesn't matter about the village in the end, it's about the people in it. If you're not willing to see that you are not worth my time. If I have to beat you and drag you back to the village to save the lives of people I will." Naruto scowled.
"You've got guts boy. Let's take this outside."
"Tsunade-sama." Shizune moaned.
"I'm one of the three legendary ninjas. I don't have to be serious about a fight with a little boy trying to be a ninja."
"I'm not trying to be a ninja. I am a ninja."
"One finger will be enough." Tsunade held up a finger.
Jiraiya looked at Naruto, the boy looked like he meant business, but there was no way he could hold his own against Tsunade.
Naruto dropped into his stance, left hand forward; he closed his eye and released a breath Tsunade sighed. Naruto opened his eyes, a cold steel blue; Tsunade frowned as Jiraiya edged closer to the boy. Naruto frowned he knew he couldn't use a game of patience here; he slipped out two kunai spinning them into his hands. He threw two shuirken towards her knowing she would dodge them most people did. He smirked setting off the tag that had been attached to the second one, Tsunade was rocked forwards by the explosion. Naruto dashed forwards to meet her, slicing above her head to make her duck, he jumped over her avoiding the finger she was about to thrust up, he landed and spun as she stood up. She turned dislodging the kunai from his hands; he jumped back avoiding her outstretched arm.
He changed stance then making Jiraiya take notice, as he dropped into the Hyuuga stance. Tsunade stopped there was no way that kid could pull it off he was trying to bluff her. She ran at him aiming to flick the head band from his head. Naruto moved and jabbed his fingers into her wrist and elbow, moving back as she swung a kick at him. Naruto smirked she was starting to take him seriously. He watched as his kunai landed in the ground, one in front of her and the other behind her. He flexed his hand into a seal as bright light emitted from the handle of his kunai. He ran sliding between her legs aiming at the inside of her knees, as he continued his slide he felt her turning and activated the second kunai to explode, sending her backwards and burst his clone. The smoke cleared to reveal Naruto at Tsunade's back a kunai pointed at her lower spine and a scroll holding her outstretched arm at bay.
Shizune and Jiraiya blinked. The two were at an impasse. Naruto had hit her chakra points where he needed to but it hadn't had much effect on her.
"Ready to take me seriously now?" Naruto asked.
"Did you really think you had won that easily?"
"It's never easy. And I don't expect to win." Naruto answered. As she stomped creating a crack in the ground, Naruto jumped back regaining his footing but leaving him open for her to spin round and kick him. He skidded across the floor; turning into a roll and popped back on his feet.
"All this to defend the word Hokage." Tsunade huffed.
"It's not just a word, it's something people strive for, something for people to believe in, the Hokage reassures people, it gives them hope, the chance to dream. The previous Hokage's died for a dream to bring prosperity to the village. Is that such a foolish cause?" Naruto asked. "You don't want to listen to reason; Orochimaru's offer must have been a great one. Did he offer to bring back the people you love?" Tsunade stilled. "You've lost people you love, I recognize a hole in the heart, it's like a blank space that can't be filled, I've lost my fair share of people, and I have the same hole in my heart. But I know more people will come to fill that hole, there will always be someone worth fighting for, because it is not an ideal we fight for. It is our precious people. I understand that. That's why the third made me Hokage."
The two women stilled looking at this boy that would dare fight a sannin.
"I don't want this job any more than you do. It's not my dream, it's my little brothers, and I will see him become Hokage. You like bets, let's make a bet. Lord Jiraiya is trying to teach me a technique, I can't seem to quite get the hang of it, give me three days to complete it."
"What technique?" she asked.
Naruto turned to look at Jiraiya as Shizune ran to Naruto helping to his feet. She started to scan him for broken bones not finding any. Jiraiya sighed and formed a sphere of spiralling chakra in his hand.
"The rasengan? You're teaching him to use the rasengan?"
"Well he did just go toe to toe with you. He's full of surprises, why shouldn't I teach him it I am his master after all."
"Actually you only asked me to come along on this mission; I have my sensei back home. And you shouldn't teach me techniques that belonged to the fourth. I'm not him." Naruto replied. "Three days to learn and master it." Naruto argued.
"You shouldn't say things you can't take back."
"I don't. So what do you say?"
"I'll give you a week, to master that jutsu; I'll give you this necklace. But if you can't master that jutsu in a week, then all your money will belong to me." Tsunade held her necklace tight in hand.
"But that is your precious heirloom." Shizune cried out.
Naruto looked to Jiraiya, "It is a very unique and precious ore that belonged to the first Hokage, and if you sold it you could buy three mountains."
"Why would you ever want to sell it?" Naruto asked. "Are you sure you're willing to risk something that precious to you?"
"You have a week." Tsunade confirmed, walking away.
"What are you doing? That necklace is..."
"It's not like he will do it, he had to get Jiraiya to show me the technique. Let's go."
"Tsunade. Can we have a drink together? It's been a while. Shizune, you and Naruto go find a hotel to stay for the night."
"Okay." They both agreed.
"Hey Shizune, May I ask what it's like travelling with Tsunade?" Naruto asked as they moved away.

"You've become even more beautiful."
"You haven't changed a bit,"
"It's not like I'm interested." Jiraiya shrugged.
"Was he telling the truth back there? Did Sarutobi sensei make him Hokage?"
"Yes. If you don't take the position he will have to continue on as Hokage. He's twelve and already in charge of the village. Why did you make that bet?"
"He won't be able to do it in a week." Tsunade admitted.
"It's reckless. He believes you'll meet up with Orochimaru. Shizune's face confirmed, don't make a reckless decision. You know Naruto didn't have a scratch on him right. He was right, the past Hokages protected those who lived in the leaf village, though in troubled times they still allowed the village to have prosperity that ideal, and they bet their lives on that dream." He stopped. "If you ever do anything to betray the leaf, I'll kill you."
"Why did you bring the kid along?"
"He reminds me of someone. But because I don't know him well enough, I didn't know he could use the Hyuuga clan fighting stance."
"That actually hurt more than it appeared you know." Tsunade rubbed her wrists.
"Not as effective without the eyes."
"No he closed off my chakra points; I just turned them back on."
"And yet you still bet against him."
(Line)
"Naruto, I know it is late but..." she paused. "You can't win that necklace, it's cursed it only recognizes Lady Tsunade as its master, anyone else will die."
"I'm a jinchuuriki; most people believe I'm cursed to live a life of always looking over my shoulder. Sometimes the things we believe are cursed aren't actually. Would you tell me who it was that she lost?" he turned to look at Shizune.
"Her twelve year old little brother Nawaki and my uncle, her lover, Dan Kato, both during the war and after she gave them that necklace, Dan died in front of her. She couldn't save him, there was so much blood."
"That's where her fear of blood comes from then. Shizune you should have more faith in people." Naruto smiled.

"Shizune, please wake up." Naruto shook her shoulder carefully.
"Naruto! What day is it?"
"It's Monday. The day of the bet. The day Tsunade goes to meet Orochimaru."
"You always knew she would go?"
"Yes, because I would too."
"Stay here."
"I'm not a child." He caught the kunai as it came flying
"Wait Shizune!"
"Damn it Tsunade put drugs in my sake. I can't release chakra well and my whole body stings. In her fallen state she's still a medical specialist. She's about the only one that can create a tasteless, odourless drug to use against other ninjas. But even in my drunken state to get to me like that."
"That's why alcohol is a vice, because it dulls the senses." Naruto shook his head.
"Shut up brat."
Naruto's head turned a chakra was trying to remain hidden from them.
"Shizune, you didn't meet with just Orochimaru did you? Someone else was there."
"Yes."
"Because he's just left here." Naruto scowled looking where Kabuto had just been.

"Damn it, I might actually have to fight against both my team mates."
"Do you really think she'll do the wrong thing? I'd give anything to bring Cat back, but that technique it's not really them, it's a shell on top of someone else, it's not the same thing." Naruto replied.
"She has gone pretty wild." Jiraiya commented.
"Ton-ton which way did she go?" Shizune called to the pig.

A cloud of smoke appeared stopping Kabuto's advance towards Tsunade. Naruto stepped forward and punched Kabuto, knocking him back.
"Long time no see Jiraiya." Orochimaru called.
"You haven't changed at all."
""Nice punch Naruto." Kabuto smirked.
"What did you do to Hinata?" Naruto growled.
"You know him?" Jiraiya turned.
"He was Orochimaru's spy in the leaf, a medical ninja." Naruto spat.
"Move!" Tsunade barged past them to get to Kabuto.
There was a splatter of blood, it hit the ground and sprayed Tsunade. Kabuto had cut his own wrist to stop her. He punched her knocking her away.
Shizune stepped forwards to protect her.
"I fixed her."
"I don't trust you." Naruto growled.
"I wondered if I'd get to see the real you, my cards are pretty useless when it comes to you."
"Traitor." Naruto snarled.
"Did they tell you the truth about the prince?" Naruto frowned turning to Jiraiya. "They haven't told you. He's not going to wake up. Ever." Kabuto smirked.
Naruto stilled, horror struck. Hikaru wasn't going to wake up. He was lying, he had to be lying, they wouldn't hide that information from him, would they? Shizune dived in front of Naruto spitting senbon as Kabuto attacked by throwing a kunai at Naruto. Kabuto jumped back landing next to Orochimaru, the bandages unravelled on Orochimaru's arm.
"Shizune you take care of Kabuto, I'll take care of Orochimaru. Is there any chance that something can be done about my body?"
"Not by me, the effect will probably last a couple of hours."
Kabuto swiped some of his blood across the tattoos on the arm summoning a giant two headed snake. Jiraiya ran through hand seals and slammed his hand down, only for a tiny red toad to appear.
"What did you say to the cute little fox to make him stop?" Orochimaru asked.
"I told him the prince wouldn't wake up. Jiraiya seems to have been affected by something Tsunade did to him.
"Hey Naruto, are you okay?" Gamakichi called out.
Naruto bit his thumb and slammed his hands on the ground, he rose up high into the air, stood atop the head of Gamabunta.
"Gamabunta, Tsunade drugged Jiraiya, he couldn't summon you. But we need your help. Please help him."
"Naruto, look after my son." Gamabunta puffed.
"Got it. Gamakichi lets go." He grabbed the little toad placing him in his scarf.
"Looks like the cute little fox is more than he seems, I'll take Jiraiya you take the rest." Orochimaru sent the first snake head towards Jiraiya. While Kabuto aimed for Naruto. Shizune dove and grabbed Tsunade; Naruto pulled out his new chakra blade and swung slicing down the snakes face vertically. Gamabunta slammed his sword through the snakes head as the other one was split open by Naruto's new blade. The snake popped, leaving Orochimaru and Kabuto heading for the floor.
Shizune swept forwards aiming her wrist projectiles at Kabuto. He landed his hands glowing with green chakra as he hit Shizune in the chest; she sprouted a purple gas at him as she was hit. She skipped back looking for him, only to be taken by surprise as he grabbed her from underground stopping her movement by striking her legs.
Jiraiya and Orochimaru raced towards one another underneath Gamabunta's webbed feet. Both ran through hand seals, Orochimaru's neck lengthened while Jiraiya's hair turned into spikes. Orochimaru kicked out as his neck travelled. His foot sunk through the spikes while his head bite down on Jiraiya's neck. Kabuto knocked Shizune back so that she fell in front of Tsunade. He advanced towards Tsunade landing a kick as Naruto dashed towards her.
"Why did you take the cute little fox as your student? The boy is nothing but a vessel, nothing special." Orochimaru smirked.
"He's more than he appears, he may not have a sharigan but he will always be better than Sasuke."
"Sasuke has the potential to master and use every technique in the world that is his inheritance; all that's left is that he meets those techniques."
"That's not what being a shinobi is, you don't need talents to be a ninja. I'll let you in on a secret, that boy down there, is a prodigy and a genius, he just doesn't like to boast about it. He understands what it is to be a true shinobi, that's why the third made him his successor."
"What? That fox is Hokage? Impossible." Orochimaru snapped turning to look at Naruto.
Naruto stood in front of Tsunade his chakra blade held in front of him a drip of blood running along the edge, Kabuto stood in shock staring at his hand or where his hand used to be. Naruto had cut it clean off. He looked down to where his hand was lying on the ground horror struck eyes turned to Naruto. Naruto stared angrily his right hand spinning chakra, Kabuto was struck by the attack but managed to slam his remaining chakra infused hand into Naruto's chest, and Naruto pushed more chakra into the sending Kabuto flying away into a rock.
"I won't let you hurt her." Naruto snarled. "She may be flawed and have issues, but she is worth twice as many of you. I will protect her with my dying breath." Naruto choked, coughing blood.
Kabuto stood up on shaky legs holding himself up by using the boulder. He smirked as he stood upright, his wounds beginning to heal.
"You took my attack." Naruto coughed
"I collected chakra in my abdomen before I took the attack and began recovering immediately. I'm the one that saved Orochimaru's life."
"Does it still work when it's trying to fix your hand?" Naruto smirked.
Kabuto fell to his knees, before toppling over; Naruto's attack had done more damage than he had anticipated. Naruto spat more blood out and toppled backwards, his blade lying next to him on the ground. Tsunade ran over placing her head to his chest.
"I don't think that was a good idea Naruto." Gamakichi croaked from inside the scarf.
Tsunade started upright at his erratic heartbeat she sliced through his shirt and scarf and started compressions. Kabuto moved so that he could see Naruto.
"It's too late for Naruto; the chakra in his heart muscles have been sapped, the blood flow to his heart has been cut off. I've cut off any potential for him to recover on his own." Kabuto coughed blood.
"Shut up!"

Naruto dropped into his mindscape. It was getting darker and darker.
"Kurama. Kurama I'm sorry." Naruto called out.
(Line)
Tsunade kept the compressions going while sending chakra into his chest; she pushed harder and pumped more chakra into him.
"I cheated." Naruto coughed. "I could already do the rasengan."
Tsunade smiled, glad that he was alive. She reached up and pulled her necklace off placing it around Naruto's neck. Gamabunta tittered but didn't disappear like he expected to. He waited watching the sannin.
"You were already Hokage, so it can't hurt you now." She reached down and kissed his cheek.
Orochimaru and Jiraiya looked over at Naruto and Tsunade. Orochimaru turned wild eyes to Jiraiya before dashing over to Naruto, Jiraiya giving chase. Orochimaru looked back at Jiraiya following him and sent his tongue to catch him around the ankle slamming him into the ground, while the snake that held his sword spat it out for him to catch.
"Naruto the snake guy is coming!" Gamakichi shouted.
Naruto's hand twitched to his chakra blade as Gamakichi jumped to his head. Orochimaru was quicker and aimed his blade at Naruto. Tsunade threw herself in front of Naruto.
"Tsunade. I wasn't trying to kill you. If he lives he will cause a great deal of trouble for me later on. Don't get in my way."
"No. I'm going to protect him no matter what."
"Why? When you tremble at the sight of blood. Why risk your life for him?" Orochimaru stood up pulling the sword from his team mate.
"Because he has faith in me." She looked fondly down at Naruto. "Because he was Hokage and was willing to die to protect me. He is the future of the village; I understand what he meant now."
"To be Hokage is worthless, the fact that the old man gave the title to a child is proof that it is a foolish aspiration."
"From now on, I shall protect you."
"If you want to die for a worthless piece of trash, then you can die like one." Orochimaru snapped, slicing across her. She fell back in front of Naruto. Orochimaru stepped round her fallen body ready to stab Naruto.
"It is not worthless to be Hokage, that's where you are wrong. And why he never chose you as Hokage, because you don't understand what it is to be a true shinobi." Naruto coughed. "You value techniques and power over strength of heart, strength of will, but in the end those things will win against power." Naruto laughed.
A clone stood above both him and Tsunade who had once again thrown herself in front of him. The clone held his chakra blade in hand, it was glowing a dark blue as it pushed against Kusanagi.
"Thank you, lady Tsunade. Gamabunta I hope you can come straight back here when Jiraiya summons you soon." the clone smirked bursting into smoke.
Naruto feel back into unconsciousness. Tsunade watched as she shielded Naruto's real body. Gamabunta returned to his realm, while Gamakichi grabbed Naruto's chakra blade with his tongue.
"How?"
"He's told you the answer." Tsunade's trembling stopped.
She stood up the mark on her forehead glowing and expanding across her face and travelling down her body.
"He no longer has to be Hokage. I will." Her hands went into a seal.
"Wait Tsunade Sama, I'll heal your wounds please don't open that seal!" Shizune called out finally waking from her slumber.
The seal spread across Tsunade's body and her wounds healed shut, before receding and disappearing from her skin.
"Seems like I'm not the only one developing new jutsu, care to tell me what that is?" Orochimaru asked.
"I've been gathering chakra to the seal on my forehead for a while now. I used that chakra to stimulate production of various enzymes that accelerated my cell duplication rate for rapid reformation. I can reconstruct any damaged parts and organs of my body. It's not a simple healing, it's regeneration. Basically, I'll never die in battle ever!"
"Orochimaru-sama Manda!" Kabuto shouted.
Orochimaru jumped to Kabuto so he could wipe blood on his other tattoo. Kabuto slammed his hand onto the ground, as Jiraiya and Tsunade each ran through hand seals and slammed their hands down on to the ground.
Gamabunta returned to the battlefield, along with a Snake known as Manda and a giant slug. Each sannin stood atop their respective summons.
"I wondered when I would see you again, Manda and Katsuyu. Is Naruto okay?" Gamabunta boomed.
"He will be, Tsunade will make sure of that." Jiraiya nodded. "Now we're going to defeat Orochimaru once and for all."
"What the hell do you think you are doing summoning me to a place like this? I should eat you." Manda snapped.
"Please Manda-sama, we'll thank you generously later on..."
"Who do you think you are talking to? Keep your mouth shut stupid brat! You better prepare at least a hundred sacrifices after this you got that?" Manda demanded.
"Katsuyu take Naruto to Shizune."
"Understood." A small slug formed underneath Naruto.
Shizune was healing herself, when the smaller version of Katsuyu landed with Naruto in front of her.
"Shizune-sama, please take care of Naruto, this will be a gruesome battle please go far away and hide some place safe. This is Tsunade-sama's wish."
"I still want to be able to see." Naruto croaked looking up at Shizune. "How often does one get to see the three sannin fight?" He smiled.
"You should be asleep," Shizune scolded.
"I'm fine, please."
"From a safe place." Shizune conceded.
"Here I grabbed this for you," Gamakichi dropped Naruto's blade for him.
"Thank you." He smiled pulling the little toad close.

"You!" Manda turned to Gamabunta. "You want me to turn you into toad jerky?"
"Just when I wanted a snake skin wallet."
"Orochimaru. You have adopted an evil way that is too much. We are no longer comrades." Jiraiya called out.
"We haven't been for a long time." Orochimaru laughed.
"Today is the last day there will be three sannin of the leaf." Tsunade shouted.
Katsuyu attacked first, spitting acid at Manda. Manda moved coiling around the slug, squeezing tight and ready to swallow her whole. Gamabunta jumped in shoving his sword in Manda's mouth to stop the snake from eating the slug. Manda squeezed Katsuyu tighter, but she split down into smaller versions, and dropping to the ground around the coils. Gamabunta's sword was pulled from his grip as he dodged Manda's tail. Manda spat out Gamabunta's sword, which caused said toad to jump out of the way. Katsuyu reassembled herself as the sword landed in the ground a few feet away from her.
"'Bunta give me oil!" Jiraiya shouted.
He took a breath and released a fire jutsu that combined with Gamabunta's oil to expand and become more deadly and more powerful. The flames engulfed Manda, who shed his skin to get away from the flames. Manda burrowed underground and charged towards Gamabunta. The toad grabbed the tail that exploded from the ground, but the head burst out from behind him. Tsunade grabbed Gamabunta's sword and swung it flying across to slam the blade through the top of Manda's mouth, pinning the snake there.
Orochimaru used his elongated tongue to grab Tsunade around the throat to yank her towards him, however she wrapped her hand around it and pulled him towards her. She punched him straight in the face. Kabuto saw his severed hand lying on the ground and darted over there, picking it up and tucking it into pouch. He hobbled back over to where Orochimaru was now lying.
"How dare you shame me like this. I'd rip you to pieces myself, but with a hole in my mouth I can't even swallow a thing. Until we meet again prepare yourself for death." Manda hissed returning to his plain.
Tsunade dropped to the ground as Manda disappeared, pulling Orochimaru across the ground as she landed. His tongue released its hold on her as he slithered back towards Kabuto.
"Tsunade even if you don't heal my arms I still have one option left, one more way to revive my arms." His skin began to shed. "I will destroy the leaf. Until we meet again. Tsunade, Jiraiya. "This is my true self, my true immortality. I AM IMMORTAL!" Orochimaru smirked as together with Kabuto they sunk into the ground.
"Tell Naruto I owe him for my hand." Kabuto uttered the last word.
Tsunade fell onto one knee, Jiraiya checked his wounds. Together they walked over to Naruto and Shizune.
"You lost as always." Jiraiya noted the necklace around Naruto's neck.
Tsunade's hand shook as the after effects of releasing the seal took effect.
"If I rest a bit, I'll soon revert to my young self."
"I don't see why you hide, you're still beautiful." Naruto mumbled.
"You shouldn't be awake?"
"How often does someone get to see the three sannin fight? It was pretty amazing." Naruto smiled.
"Sleep now we'll head back to the leaf when you wake up."
"And eat, I'm very hungry." Naruto smiled, falling back asleep.
"He is pretty amazing Jiraiya."
"I found a good egg huh Tsunade."
"Call me the fifth Hokage. I'll take the weight off Naruto's shoulders, let him grow and prosper and get over his anger issue."
"That may take some time he is pretty stubborn." Jiraiya laughed, picking Naruto up and carrying him back down into the village.
"Hey Lady Tsunade, Naruto wanted to give you this. It's to clear you're gambling debt." Gamakichi croaked.
He held out a scroll and then bounced over to his father and handed over another scroll. The two toads returned to their realms. Katsuyu bowed and returned to her world. Tsunade opened the scroll and watched the amount of money that fell out, it was twice as much to cover her debt. She smiled fondly at Naruto.
"He spent the week winning the money." Shizune explained. "He knew you'd come around eventually." She smiled.

Naruto was on his fifth plate as the three older shinobi watched on. He did say he was hungry but this was a bit much. Naruto stopped and smiled sheepishly. Tsunade pushed another full plate towards him. He smiled and continued to eat, he had made a dent in the money he had won but not enough for Tsunade to worry.
"Brat, I have a question for you." Naruto stilled. "What do you mean you cheated?"
Naruto gulped his food down. "Well I could already do the rasengan. You saw me do it with my right hand. I'm left handed." He placed his chopsticks down and brought both hands up, a sphere forming and spinning in each hand. "I spent the week gambling my winnings from the slot machine to get enough to pay off your debt, and I bought Gamabunta three barrels of sake. There I lied and this," he pulled the necklace off, "Is still yours by rights." He held the necklace out. "And I was already dying before you gave me the necklace so it wasn't cursed." Naruto smiled.
"Keep it." Tsunade smiled. 'He's not off the hook that easily.' She smiled evilly.
