Anger Management

Chapter 137th

Both men had watched Mrs. Leroy Jethro Gibbs leave his hospital room somewhat pisses with all of the questions she had been asking. What was she trying to get at with those types of questions?

"What's up with her, Jethro?" Doctor Gelfand had to say remembering all of the women that had been in Gibbs's life over the years.

"She is just angry having spent time at the safe house having made the decision to leave to have my wind up in this condition once again. I believe I know how she feels with every god damn move I make to wind up making a big mistake?" he cried out with trying to shift his position slightly.

"You've been married four years and I would have thought you understand your wife in how she thinks for the most part?" he exclaimed...

"Look doctor Gelfand my wife and I have been through a great deal and she had been upset with the fact that she wants me to retire finally and I just don't blame her either," he commented with the doctor shaking his head.

"I know the feeling Jethro. My own wife Ann Marie had been asking me to cut back on my traveling and at the different hospitals and now the U.S.S. Daniel Webster. She is threatening me with a divorce after 30 plus years of marriage."

"I am truly sorry Doc about it. I suggest that you take your wife on a long vacation as I said to my friend Doctor Cyril Taft and his wife Catherine having to put up with him for such a long time?" he quipped.

"I will have to think about it, Gibbs. But now I am here to check your wounds along with changing the bandages. However, since waking had you have any trouble with headaches, blurred vision, or memory loss?" he watched his reaction to the question.

"No on all three questions Doctor Gelfand. However, I do have some tiredness throughout my entire body," he says.

"That is to be expected Special Agent Gibbs." Doc needed to have said as a specialist for when it comes to his patient after such a long time dating back to KUWAIT.

"Is there anything I can take to help build up my energy levels?"

"Now this is a surprise Gibbs, with you needing to take pills when you're always hated taking them over the years except for the occasional aspirin?" he coyed with him for when it comes to taking pills. Even when he was shot twice in his chest and Knee that he had told Doctor Taft that he didn't need to take them in spite of the suffering.

"I will talk with Doctor Taft since he is your primary care physician. Otherwise, everything looks good Gibbs. I do hope that this is not going to happen again with the Cartel having to be involved?"

"I really don't know Doctor Gelfand. It's going to all depend on them on whether they wish to see me dead again." Gibbs needed to say with no remorse in his tone of voice.

Three weeks later

Gibbs, Loreile, Shane, and Nathan were heading for Orlando, Florida for a week visiting his daughter and grandchildren. Special Agent Gibbs after being released from the hospital a week ago. His attitude had changed since getting out.

He was feeling better since getting injured and having the heart surgery helped as well. He had a new lease on life.

Director Leon Vance was able to put through the vacation time for his long-time special agent with the never-ending paperwork. Currently, he had Senior Field Agent McGee having to be taking over the position. With Nicholas Torres, Bishop, and a new R.E.A.C.T. agent transferring in named Jessica Knight to work on the cases.

Once Gibbs does come back to work. There was a possible chance that he will be taking over the position at the Academy and gun range as a special teacher with the students after 34 years as an agent.

Loreile had finished packing up their things before heading for the airport and the flight in three hours. She had Madeline now back from vacation will be switching back and forth for the week with another D.O.D. agent to protect the family.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs had been placing the boy's things into the Chevy that was Loreile's vehicle instead of the truck. He had made plans with his next store neighbor to keep an eye out on the house for the most part.

Afterward, he headed upstairs to check on his wife on how far along she was with the packing. Since she was pregnant now in her ninth month.

"Are you all set now Loreile?" he will say in a soft tone of voice. He had been looking much better with his color and skin since he's been eating much better mostly. She was back to be calling her silver fox.

"Ready finally Jethro. I am very anxious to get to the airport. No doubt Shane and Nathan are as well for the week coming up."

"No doubt they are sweetie. Come up let me get these into the trunk." Gibbs said with a smirk showing on his face.

She watched him leave wearing his grey sweatpants with the pockets on the side. He had lost weight with most of his clothing now loose on him. What Loreile needs to do with fattened him up while they were in Florida. No doubt his daughter Kelly and her husband Colonel James Hawkins will be doing the same.

He had picked up the two suitcases to bring them outside to the Chevy and into the chill. Even though when they get to Florida. The temperatures will no doubt be in the high eighties and nineties including the humidity.

Madeline had brought out the two boys dressed properly. She will be staying in Florida for a few days before Alicia takes over in order to spend time with her own husband.
