Anger Management
Chapter 143th
Doctor Silvers gave the word to let everyone know in the prepping room in order to move Loriele to the delivery room to begin the process of the baby.
Technicians and including Kasie with the closed-circuit camera turned on inside the delivery room for Special Agent Gibbs to view his wife's having the baby that he missed twice before for different reasons.
"Okay, Loreile I will need for you to bear down when I give you the word. Kasie are you ready to help again?" Doctor Angela Silvers needed to say to the both of them.
In unison: "HELL, YEAH!"
"Let's get going everyone. We have been here too long already and we all need to go home?" Doctor Silvers had to say with asking Kasie to help Loreile up with the start of the pushing and her breathing exercises, while she was sweating heavily on her brow and other parts of the body.
"OMG! The contractions are getting much worst?" Loreile screamed out as she pushed as hard as she could. "OUCH! She screamed with Kasie continued to hold her up until being told to wait for a few moments.
Doctor Silvers checked her again before saying to be ready to push again with Leroy Jethro Gibbs watching the screen.
She screamed once again as the head was pushing out of her with the doctor coaxing her further with Kasie helping Loreile with her breathing and with lifting her up hopefully for the final time. When all of a sudden with the final push the baby was out of her completely along with the placeta. Loreile fell back totally exhausted from the long labor and delivery of her son.
"Congratulations Loreile! I am so proud of you and so will Gibbs be as well with able to see it even though he wasn't able to be personally involved?"
"Doctor, how much does the baby weigh with my husband and the entire NCIS in a pool at work?" Loreile cried out with a grimace still having the residue pain from the delivery.
"Give us a moment while we weigh your son?" Doctor Silvers had said with Daniel crying to make Loreile happy with that sound as with Kasie.
"Doctor this baby weighs eight pounds one ounce." The young assistant nurse will say with writing it down onto the chart.
"It looks like my husband and his friend Doctor Donald Mallard have won the pool?" Loreile says exhausted. "I will have to let my husband know when I get the chance to see him?" she exclaimed with closing of her eyes.
"Okay, let's get you cleaned up and into a private room to sleep. Unless you're interested in having something to eat? While Daniel is going to be taken to the nursery to be checked over as well there with taking his footprint as per request." Doctor Silvers said.
"And in the meantime, I am going to see Gibbs and congratulate him personally before going home to sleep myself?" Kasie has to say with a yawn and her stomach was growling as well. Maybe she was going to stop off at the diner to bring home her breakfast.
Kasie Heines really didn't know what to say to Gibbs except to shake his hand and a hug before going home. She just couldn't believe how much she was tired.
Reaching his floor to head out of the elevator wearing her pass on the jacket she was wearing. She had been feeling a slight chill in her bones from the air conditioning. Reaching to be in front of his door seeing him sitting up in a chair watching TV.
She knocked on the door before entering to make sure he was okay with the visit. "Jesus Kasie! Thank you so much for your help with my wife's delivery of Daniel?" he said softly with his mask still on him and had asked to sit in the chair for now.
"You're very welcomed Gibbs," she says with shaking his warm, callous hand and then bending down to hug the older man with the silver hair.
"Kasie are you alright?" He had to ask her the question.
"I am fine except for being exhausted and with my hand sore as hell with Loreile squeezing it like hell with the contractions," she said with seeing Gibbs expression on his face.
"I can imagine it Kasie with my wife having to be a strong woman in many ways?" Gibbs noted with a blushing showing on his aged face and tired needing to get back into his bed to sleep.
"Do you need for me to call for your aid or nurse Gibbs?" she snapped with the request.
"Please Kasie. I am tired and I need to lay down as an old man does?" he joked with Kasie to be laughing at his dry humor.
"Fine, I will leave you alone to rest. I know that it wasn't easy for you and the surgery. Actually, it's been hard on everyone and their nerves lately every time they turn around you're getting hurt in the process?" she takes in a deep breath.
Kasie headed on down the hall to the elevator. She was glad to get out of the hospital. She had spent way too much time with Loreile and her contractions. She was remembering the pain she was suffering every time she will squeeze it with and every contraction.
She had pulled out her cell phone to find out whether Doctor Jimmy Palmer had finished up his work at the Naval Yards. "Hey! Where are you, Jimmy?" she will have to say with the question.
"At home with Victoria. Are you alright?" he asks with Victoria asleep in the bedroom.
"Can I come over? I am so stressed out after spending all of those hours with Loreile." she said.
"Of course you can come over. Why don't you pack a bag for the overnight and sleep in the guest room for now Kasie?" Palmer will say with Kasie agreeing to the idea of ending the call to head home.
