Anger Management

Chapter 158th

Remembering a conversation Nick had with Gibbs in his office of the Academy with knocking on the door to have him looking up with his glasses on the bridge of his nose.

Gibbs had gotten up from his seat to greet Nicholas Torres on a mission to find out the truth. "Hey! What's up Nick with being here? I had thought you be out in the field with Tim?"

"We finished what work that needed to be done on the Chief Petty Officer's murder down by the harbor, Gibbs. I came here to ask you a few questions about working here instead of the bullpen?" he croaked out with seeing the expression on Gibbs's face.

"First of all Nick I am way past the mandatory age to be a team leader for NCIS, and second I am just tired of all of the running around, paperwork, and never having the proper time to be spending with my family." he pauses for the moment.

"Now you're sounding like McGee with his callous remarks about needing more time with Delilah and the family, plus the fact Gibbs, he said that he wasn't like you for when it comes to killing." Nick exhaled.

"What a minute! I might be who I am Nick as a sniper Marine and many other names. But Tim doesn't have the killer bone in him and why he will never be a team leader for NCIS?" he recanted with his statement.

"There you go, Gibbs! We can't have him when we can have you back if and when you're able to talk with Director Lowry?" Nick was remembering this as he tells Bishop that he had to leave to see Gibbs in the hospital.

"No way Nick, I am coming with you to the hospital?" Bishop says with getting in her rented vehicle to follow behind Nick heading for the exit to reach the highway and Bethesda, hospital.

He was quiet throughout the drive with Bishop driving in and out of traffic on the highway with the heavy traffic of cars, trucks, and deliveries vehicles getting off the different exits.

She looked over to him for the moment so as not to lose sight. "What's wrong Nick?"

Shrugging his own shoulders from the tension of the entire situation. "I don't care for all of the lies going on around myself, Gibbs, and most of all McGee?" he says to her with making the turn off the exit to be heading for the hospital.

"I don't understand Nick?" she looks all ways to head down the road with the circle coming up.

"McGee had been lying to himself for years thinking that he was the computer Jeek with watching Gibbs in the process hiding from his own problems sitting at the desk thinking what was his next move. And then there was me trying to fit into the team all of these years, even though you had asked me a number of times on whether I was fine or not?" he said.

"Very true Nick," she responded by moving into the underground parking lot of Bethesda hospital.
