Chapter 159th
Nick and Bishop took the elevator up to the lobby in order to receive their passes to visit the patient in ICU. The security guard had to look it up onto the computer screen for the room that Special Agent Gibbs was located.
Moving into the elevator with Bishop to be pushing the elevator button to head up to the floor.
"Elle, are you alright?" Nick will ask her for the sake of his own purpose.
"Yeah, why shouldn't I be Nick?" she said in a serious demeanor.
"I am just concerned since you're only been back to the United States the past few days and do doubt the jet lag must be bothering you nevertheless?" Nick said with the door opening to head for the nurse's station to ask for Special Agent Gibbs's room.
A young blonde nurse had to be sitting at the nurse's station and computer terminal. She looks up at both of them with their passes.
"He's in room 834 a private room and he's awake," she tells them both with Bishop to thank the woman.
GIBBS ROOM...
Leroy Jethro Gibbs was alone and sitting up in bed with the remote in his hand scanning the stations to find a western movie with Randolph Scott and John Wayne.
Taking a sip of his water from the bottle sitting on the tray next to him. There was a knock on the door as he was somewhat annoyed with another interruption.
However this time it was Nick Torres and a woman he's not seen in a while since she left for Bulgaria with Odette and her rebels. "OMG! I can't believe it, Bishop?"
"In the flesh Gibbs!" she comes over to hug him the best she could with his shoulder and right leg. "How are you feeling?" she will ask him with endless questions asking.
"The best I can with everyone bothering me in this god damn hospital." he croaked out with his annoyance showing.
"That bad Gibb?" Nick will have to say to him with coming over to shake his other arm that wasn't hurt by the bastard Alejandro Riveria down by the Mission District.
"Yeah, it is Nick. You should know that for when you wound up in the hospital after being run down by Xanier?" he will say to him.
"Gibbs tells us the truth by keeping it a secret as always. Did you kill him?" Bishop had to be the one with the nerve to be asking the question.
"Yes," he said without saying anything else on the subject. "So why are you here in the first place?" he will ask with seeing their expressions on their faces.
"Let's just say Gibbs you're not going to like in regard to what we have to say?" Nick cried out with his comment and the stare on Gibbs's face ...
